The summer sun beat some intense heat on Musutafu, but Deku and Todoroki were keeping cool at Dagoba Beach. They weren't the only ones there, either; Kacchan and Ashido had chosen to join them. Mainly, they were having a Hawaiian-style beach picnic, with huli huli chicken, chicken long rice, and macaroni salad, among others.

"Todoroki, having a Hawaiian-style picnic was a great idea!" said Ashido. "What made you wanna do this?"

Todoroki swallowed some ahi poke. "I was looking up various world cuisines, and I discovered that apparently, Hawaiian cuisine shares quite a bit in common with Japanese cuisine."

Deku nodded. "I'm with you there. It tastes similar to our cuisine, but at the same time, it has its own unique flavor."

Kacchan shrugged. "Well, I don't care so long as it's delicious."

Ashido giggled. "Of course it is! And I'm glad you could come with us today!"

"In the past, I woulda thought this was a stupid idea, but after cryin' my eyes out in front of Deku and Todoroki, I feel…different. It's like…I don't feel the same urge to get angry at people."

Deku smiled. "Well, I'm glad! I actually felt sad whenever I saw you get upset, and I just wanted to help you feel better."

"OK, I can do without the gay stuff, but OK."

Todoroki smirked. "Kacchan, don't make me give you cheek kisses!"

Kacchan growled and blushed, while Ashido shot Todoroki a dirty look. However, her smile returned soon after:

"Anyways, once we finish our food, I've got a fun activity we can do!"

Todoroki smiled. "I'm intrigued! Do tell me more!"

The fun activity that Ashido had planned was beach volleyball. They flipped a coin to decide who would go first. Team TodoDeku picked "heads". It was "tails", so Team BakuMina got to serve first. Kacchan got the first serve, and as much as he was tempted to use his explosive power to slam it down, Ashido had warned him against it earlier. Still, he put up a real power serve, though Deku was able to return it. It was a mad scramble between both teams to get the first point, but ultimately, Ashido managed to spike the ball over Todoroki's head and earn the first point for her team. Team TodoDeku weren't about to give up that easily, though, and Deku managed to get a point for their team and tie the game. It was a real tit-for-tat game, with neither side being particularly willing to lose. Ultimately, though, Team TodoDeku won 15-12. After the game, each side went to congratulate each other.

"Not bad, you two!" said Ashido. "I swore we had you, but still, well-played!"

Todoroki smirked. "Did you? Keep in mind that I'm the one with bigger breasts."

Ashido laughed. "Oh, shut up, you!"

Ashido attempted to ruffle Todoroki's hair, and the latter playfully put her in a headlock, and they proceeded to horse around with each other, while Deku and Kacchan looked on and smiled.

"Deku, I had fun today. I used to think you and IcyH…er, Todoroki sucked, but you two are actually pretty cool."

Deku smiled. "You and Ashido go well together, too! Also, you two put up a heck of a fight during that match!"

Kacchan shrugged. "Yeah, but we lost."

"Even so, you'll probably get it next time!"

Kacchan smiled. "Know what? You're right!"

All in all, another good day between friends.
