" The sport announcer said as the court became filled with cheers and applause .

Haley ran from her courtside seat the one she protested against Nathan about how they were expensive and how Nathans already done so much for her but he lied to her and said that the team gave him a ticket if he wanted to bring anyone . She started to look for Nathan until he came in sight and smiled happily at her and ran towards her and hugged her . " YOU DID IT !! " Haley yelled happily as she hugged him back " Thank you hales for being here with me even tho i cant stand you " he whispered into her ears as he tightened his embrace and they both shared a laugh.

" come on lets go back to tree hill " he said as he now had his arms around her shoulders and walked her towards the exit .

" Scott wait " a man yelled out from behind when Nathan turned around. " sorry to bother you mr.Scott but is it okay if we interviewed you? We know that you don't do much interviews but we hope to get one from you" the young man questioned as Haley nodded towards Nathan " sure why not " Nathan said smiling as he let go of haley and walked towards the cameraman and the interviewer .

" Good evening everyone Marvin here again and today we have Nathan Scott with us, how do you feel after making the winning shot Nathan? " Marvin the interviewer asked Nathan " Well i feel pretty good, i give credits for my teammates for helping me make the shot and I thank my coach for making me a better player and my teammates for making me a better teammate . and I definitely Thank my friend Haley who came today to support me even tho she kept telling me that i suck but deep down i know she's happy for me " Nathan answered simply as he chuckled at the last sentence " well Thank you Nathan for being here with us " Marvin thanked Nathan who just nodded and shook his hands as the cameraman said cut .

" look at you being all interviewed " Haley said as she nudged him with her elbow . " i bet its hard being friends with a celebrity hales " Nathan flashed her his smirk " who said we were friends? I was just using you for courtside seats " Haley rolled her eyes at him playfully as both her and Nathan laughed .

When they got out of the stadium they were met with cameras flashing ' Scott over here !' someone yelled ' how do you feel after you made the winning shot? ' someone else yelled ' were you trying to impress someone by making the winning shot? ' a guy said while taking a picture of Haley and Nathan .

Nathan had his arms around haley securely and walked her towards his car .

Haley laughed when Nathan started to drive away " ugh i hate paparazzis " Nathan stated " i bet we will be on tomorrow's cover i hope i looked good even tho i have to deal with my brothers tomorrow " Haley said laughing

" home sweet home " Haley said as she walked towards her room with her beige duffel bag as she fell into her bed . when she heard chuckles she got up and sat looking at Nathan who was standing at the doorway . " what is it thats making you laugh like a girl? " Haley asked as she crossed her arms " its just you called it home sweet home " Nathan laughed again " whatever go sleep now champ I have a surprise for you tomorrow " Haley said as she got up and closed the door at his face .

a surprise? i hope its only pancakes for breakfast because i don't know how long i can keep pretending…

9:30 in the morning

" Nathan.. " haley said breathlessly as she left his lips. she started to kiss his neck until she reached his pulse point and started to kiss it then nibbled then suck it like life depended on it. that causes Nathan to groan loudly

" haley.. " he groaned softly

" Rise and shine !! " The petite woman said as she jumped up and down on Nathans bed . " leave me alone you b- " Nathan said as he got interrupted and realized that it was the same woman from his amazing dream " Nathan royal Scott you better not finish this sentence because i have spent over thirty minutes preparing you your favorite breakfast you jackass ! " Haley said as she jumped down to the floor and went to his face and gave him a playful slap . " okay okay I'm up geez hales " Nathan said as he sat up and realized something tight in his boxers as he quickly covered it behind the blanket what was she doing to me??? I need to get laid asap !!! He thought to himself as haley left his room and went to the kitchen.

In the kitchen Haley was still in her nightie that reached the middle of her tights as she danced and sang around the kitchen while preparing breakfast. Across the kitchen Nathan was still in his room getting ready for the day. he wore his usual black basketball shorts and grey tank top before he left his room .

if she's messing with my head i need to mess with hers . he thought to himself as he took off his tank top and left the room . When he closed his rooms door he turned around and saw haley dancing around .

"I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine I got a love- " Haley sang while she flipped the pancakes she stopped when she heard a chuckle coming from behind her she slowly turned around to see Nathan shirtless!!! Why is he shirtless?? why does he look more hotter when he's not wearing a shirt.. i cant breathe why cant i breathe!!!

She's singing and dancing around in her nightie?? I can see her thong when she's dancing why is she doing this to me !! What is she doing to me???

" uh hales is singing part of my surprise breakfast? Because you have a good voice i can't believe that you've been hiding it "he chuckled " oh mister this just the beginning " Haley smiled at him as she skipped to the kitchen counter and placed him a chocolate chip pancake while motioning for him to come sit down . He did as she asked and came walking to the stool and sat down and started to eat .

" this is good hales thank you " He thanked her and continued to eat " your going for a run right? Because after your run i have your other surprise! " Haley said as she smiled at him and started to eat her pancakes too .

After eating breakfast Nathan thanked haley once again . He went back to his room. wore his grey tank top and jogged towards their apartment door as he left and went for a run .

After his run Nathan went home excitedly for his surprise when he opened his door he was greeted with haley in grey shorts and dark red tank top her hair in a messy bun revealing her soft creamy skin . god she's making me wanna run my lips on her soft neck and-

Nathan broke from his thoughts when he realized that haley was holding a mop in one hand and the other hand was holding a bucket while wearing rubber gloves " welcome home !! Surprise! " Haley said laughing at Nathans now confused expression " hales please dont tell me this spring cleaning in the middle of summer?? " he pouted as she nodded " well roomie go wear some robber gloves its in the kitchen counter " Haley told him smiling " but hales i dont know how to clean i never cleaned im my life ! " he whined as he walked up to the kitchen counter and wore yellow rubber gloves " no need to worry anymore! I will teach you now come on roomie start sweeping " haley said as she handed him the mop and the bucket " now Nathan start mopping around the kitchen if your done from the kitchen tell me, i will be mopping the living room good luck ! " Haley said as she clapped her hands together .

After sweeping the entire floor Nathan turned to haley " hales im done " he informed her as he turned around to see her looking at him then at the floor " good job Scott not too bad for a rookie " Haley said as she fisted bumped him " thank you miss james its an honor now what do we have next? " he questioned smiling " Bathrooms ! " haley replied " what?? Bathrooms?? You don't expect me to clean it?? " he said confused " i will show you how to clean your bathroom come on follow me " haley said as she handed him a toilet brush and all purpose cleaner .

In Haleys bathroom

" So first spray some on the counter and with the rug you wipe " she said as she sprayed some on the counter next to the sink and wiped . " after cleaning the counter and the sink you start with the toilet! " haley said as she now looked at a disgust Nathan " ewww " he said gagging .

3 hours after cleaning the whole apartment from the living room to the kitchen to both their bathrooms and rooms .

" finally we finished " he said as he sat on the leather black couch " good job rookie now go get your laundry and meet me in the laundry room ! " haley said as she pulled him up from the couch " ughh finee " he said as he got up and walked towards his room . He opened his door to find his room shiny, his bed made, his clothes in his laundry bag. Nathan Scott never cleaned but for Haley James he would kill .

He walked towards haley Who was standing at the door of their laundry room." come on scott, now put white clothes on this side " she pointed to the left side where there were white socks . " and colored clothes over there " she pointed to the right side where there were colored socks . " okay lets see your dirty clothes you dirty dog " haley said as she brought Nathans laundry bag closer to her.

She held his white t shirt and tossed them to the left side. She then held her red pants and tossed them with Nathans pants and they did the same with all of their clothes until they reached their underwear. " okay Scott now do the same with your boxers " she commended

" uh hales? " he said nervously " yea? " she replied confused " i dont want you.. to.. you know! " he said shyly " you dont want me to see your boxers? " she laughed at him " well yes ! " he replied softly still shy " dont worry nate no one will know about your basketball boxers " she comforted him while holding back a laugh " promise? " he asked as she nodded promising. Nathan held his black Calvin Klein boxers tossing them to the right side

Haley broke from her thoughts as held her red laced thong with a red bra when Nathan saw it he almost forgot how to breathe he kept imagining her in them fuck she's not making this any easy !!

After an hour of separating clothes and putting them in the washing machine .

Haley had her legs stretched on Nathans lap they were now sitting on the couch watching tv with bowls full of ice cream. Haley had the mint chocolate chip while Nathan had rocky road .

" so what are you up to today? " he asked

" well I have a date !! " Haley said excitedly as the smile in Nathans face faded. He was hoping that today will be the two of them or them hanging out with their friends. at least he just wanted to be with her, so he could hear her beautiful laughter or see her beautiful smile or even to just hear her call him out on his shit .

" oh thats..thats great hales I'm happy for you. Who's the guy? " He asked forcing a smile

" I met him at tric last week his name was Chris something he's a musician he's picking me up at 6 so what do you want for lunch? " She said smiling

" I don't know hales wanna order something? " he asked her while looking at her big dark brown eyes that brown eyes that can break and heal his heart at the same time . Haley caught his eyes. His ocean blue eyes she can easily get lost in them . She loved his eyes . The two fell in silence as they looked at each other with nothing to say..

" uh i guess ? Wanna order pizza? " she questioned him breaking the silence " sure yeah i will order it " he answered as he turned towards the phone on the side table, he picked it up and dialed the number. while Nathan was ordering their food next to him was Haley she sat still thinking about the moment they just shared.

What was that? What is he doing to me?? He's a meanie! A player ! but he's sweet with me but he's a jerk !!!

" I'm gonna hit the shower i will probably be done by the time the pizza comes " he said nervously.

I desperately need a cold shower. he thought to himself as the images of her dancing in the kitchen this morning flew back to his mind .

i cant sit next to her anytime soon or i would probably pounce on her and kiss her and ruin everything we have . the friendship we develop while living together!! Get your head out of your ass Scott!!

" uh okay" she answered him with the same nervous tone .

Nathan got up quickly and ran towards his room then into his bathroom,Turned on the shower and turned the water to cold .

After an hour of trying not think about Haley he finally finished his shower . Same goes for haley .

" hales where are you? " Nathan yelled as he walked out of his room . A towel wrapped around his waist revealing his wet six packs and his wet muscles.

" in here- " haley yelled back as she turned around her jaw dropped at the view as she felt a lump in her throat . ohh to run my tongue down that perfectly shaped body till i reach his-

" Haley james were you checking me out?? " he asked smirking breaking her from her dirty thoughts.

" dont flatter yourself I-I-I've seen better " she stuttered " okayyy tell yourself that " he said chuckling " here i left you some pizza! " she said as she pointed to the coffee table that had a pizza box on top. Nathan walked towards the coffee table and sat down on the couch . Haley had left to go to her room to get ready. Nathan opened the pizza box to eat only to realize there were only two slices left.

" HALEY JAMES !! " he yelled from his place as he heard laughter coming from Haleys room .

" IM GOING TO GET YOU BACK ONE DAY ! " he yelled as he got up and went to her room . " sorry i was hungry.. " she pouted giving him that look that makes his heart break .. " okay okay i forgive you, dork " he said laughing at her .

" whatcha you doing? " he asked curiously as he leaned on the doorway smiling as Haley got ready . " putting on lipstick? " she answered in an obvious tone as she continued to apply it .

Haley is sitting on the couch nervously waiting for her date to arrive, its been thirty minutes and he haven't arrived yet . Meanwhile Nathan went to play basketball with Lucas at the rivercourt .

Across town Nathan was shooting hops while Lucas sat at the bench .

" Luke can i tell you something? But please promise me you wont tell anyone. I trust you. You're my brother " Nathan said as he walked over to Lucas and sat next to him . " whats up Nate? Your beginning to scare me " Lucas said chuckling

" i think i like haley.. " he said nervously " wait. What? I thought you always liked haley? " Lucas questioned confused " well yeah i always liked haley and your the only one that knows that but i think I'm failing so hard for her " Nathan said looking at Lucas " Nathan you were always in love with her ! Hell when you knew that she was your roommate you offered to pay this year's whole rent because you knew she was tight on money, you scared every boy that tried to get with her! you even punched every guy that broke her heart. you always loved her Nate you were just too scared to admit it " Lucas said as he patted Nathan on the shoulder .

Nathan walked home from the rivercourt thinking about his conversation with Lucas and every word Lucas said . was he good enough for her? Haley was the best thing in his life even tho they didn't click together he always loved her he always got used to having her around he cant even imagine his life without his brothers annoying stubborn sarcastic beautiful adorable sweet caring loving kind best friend. She would wake up early in the morning to cook him his favorite breakfast. She would rush home in time for lunch so she would prepare lunch for both of them she would ask him about his day over lunch no one asked him about his day except for her even tho sometimes she didn't eat dinner she would cook him some and leave it in the fridge with a note that says ' your lucky I'm in the mood to cook you dinner ' and a smiley face. Everytime he walked over to the fridge he would see photos of her and their friends or photos of her only, hanging on their fridge she even hang photos of him and told him " it's your house too Nathan you should hang your pictures too ! ooo Im so going to hang your basketball photos! " next to the pictures is the deal they made the first night they spent at the apartment. He cant imagine coming home to anyone but her .

After a lonnng walk of thinking Nathan turned the key and opened the door to his apartment to see his beautiful roommate sitting on the couch. Her hair is in it natural waves wearing a strapless red dress . She looked as beautiful as ever . He glanced at the clock to see its already seven. Why isn't she with her date? Did he stood her up? IF HE STOOD HER UP I SWEAR-

" Nate? your back early" she said softly as she turned around to look at him, her eyes are red she seemed like she's been crying. The sight of her crying made his heart hurt . She of all people shouldn't be sad.

" hales.. whats wrong? " he questioned her softly as he walked towards her and sat down next to her on the couch. " Th-That jerk of a musician stood me up! Am i not good enough for him?? I was being nice when i told him dinner would be great ! i was feeling sorry for him because of his friends who stood him up and didn't come to his show then he stood me up ! " she said as tears fell from her eyes . The sight was breaking his heart into pieces. Why was she thinking she not good enough? " where is he at now? " Nathan asked as his arms were now around her shoulders " I don't know maybe at tric? " she answered hiccuping with tears " i will be right back , don't cry again for anyone No one deserves your tears haley. no one is good enough for you remember that " Nathan said as he got up and walked towards the door, His fists clenched.

At tric Nathan hurried inside when he was greeted with Peyton who looked at him in confession.

" hey Nate, what brings you here? I thought your boys night were on Thursday? " she asked still confused and waiting for an answer . "do you have a singer preforming name Chris? " he asked hesitantly " Oh you mean The Keller " she said laughing " yeah he's in the back getting ready to get on stage why? " Peyton asked confused " Im sorry Peyton but you have to look for an another singer " he told her .

" wait- what? " She stood there confused while Nathan began walking towards the crowd until he found a room and swung the door open .

" woah man don't you know how to knock? " a spiked haired short man said

" you Chris keller? " The much bigger and taller man asked him his fist still clenched " yea thats m- " before he could finish his sentence Nathan knocked him out " next time when you ask someone out for dinner make sure to show up or at least text her ! " Nathan said as his fist was still clenched in the air " woah what dinner? Ohh you mean dinner with that hot brunette holly no it was haley! sorry man i was going to text her To meet me here you know to take her home but then i met this much hotter blonde- " Chris said as he got interrupted by an another knock " you listen to me Keller and listen to me carefully. " Nathan said as he grabbed him by the neck and pinned him against the wall still holding his neck making sure there's no way for air as Chris nodded " your going to meet Haley here in Tric tomorrow and your going to apologize for standing her up and beg for her forgiveness you hear me? " Nathan said as Chris nodded and he let go of his neck letting him breathe " o-okay…okay " Chris said as he gasped for air .

Nathan opened the door quietly to the apartment when he saw haley sitting on the couch in PJs it looks like she's been waiting for him to come home .

" hey guess what! Chris texted me apologizing! Plus where did you go? i was thinking of cooking us dinner " She smiled at him as he walked towards her and sat next her smiling " nowhere. What are you going to cook? " he asked her still smiling " I was thinking maybe mac and cheese!! " She said grinning as her gaze left his face to his knuckles that had little blood on it " Nathan? wh- are you hurt? what happened why do you have blood on your hand?? Why is your knuckle white are you hurt anywhere else?? " She asked her voice filled with concern as she palms his head with her hands looking for scars " no no im fine hales its just that when you told me about Chris i got so angry at him for making you cry so I had a conversation with him " he said still smiling at her as she threw her hands around his neck hugging him tightly " I kinda of knew. Peyton called me and told me that Chris wouldn't be able to sing because someone knocked him out and his nose wont stop bleeding. Thank you Nathan. Thank you for everything you've done to me " She said as she tightened the embrace .

" your welcome hales. so how about tomorrow me you and our friends go out for some drinks at Tric? " He said smiling as he pulled away from the hug to look at her smiling face . " Yes!! omg im gonna text the girls Be right back !! " she said as she ran towards her room. While Nathan sat there chuckling . he was in love with her He's in love with Haley James .
