Archer

It was rare to have a moment of relaxation. Every day was normally filled with chores, running various errands, and just the general upkeep of the shrine. Not to mention keeping constant guard for other Servants and Masters who may attack at a moment's notice.

So, when the opportunity presented itself, Archer took complete advantage.

Lounging on the couch in the living room with a good book in one hand, the silver haired Servant enjoyed the quiet to his heart's content. He didn't know where Lancer and Gilgamesh had gone – and Archer didn't frankly care. As long as the other two weren't bothering him, he didn't have to kill them.

Suddenly, a soft, feminine body practically slithered into his lap, all warm and seductive to his senses. He froze.

"Lady… Kagome?" A lump had formed in his throat. His mouth was desert dry.

His Master had never been so… forward… before. He wasn't sure what to make of the situation, his brain wracking with ideas – both reasonable and unreasonable.

Kagome hummed tiredly, the sound going straight to his heart and… lower. It made him uncomfortable and he shifted the slightest bit, not wanting to disturb the raven haired beauty. She didn't seem to notice as she opened sexy, slumberous eyes to gaze up at the silver haired Servant.

Her pink, full kissable lips parted, and a single hand rose to lay a finger against his mouth. "Shhh," she whispered, "I'm going to take a nap now." Thick lashes fluttered in the next second and, curling into a little ball, Kagome fell asleep in Archer's lap.

Archer released a sigh, not actually feeling the exasperation he let cross his features. If one were to look into his eyes, they would see the absolute adoration he felt for his petite Master.

Lifting one hand, his fingers sank into her silky, raven tresses, letting the cool strands slip through his calloused digits. When Kagome snuggled closer, the breath froze in his lungs, but he was able to breathe normally in the next second when she didn't awaken.

Without realizing it, Archer let the book fall from his hand as he wrapped both arms protectively around the raven haired beauty. He easily lifted her as he adjusted their positions until he lay on the couch and she was placed on top of his bigger body, her body cradled between his legs.

A small, unconscious smile curved her lips upward. Archer's expression softened as it mirrored hers, his fingers continuing to stroke through her hair.

If this was how he spent his rare day off, it was definitely preferable to reading a book.

Lancer

"Ah, so this is the infamous strawberry shortcake I heard about," Lancer commented, smirking, as he gazed down at the dessert being assembled and decorated. The sweet smell of vanilla cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream filled the kitchen and he greedily breathed in the scent. It made his mouth water, but not as much as the raven haired beauty in front of him.

Holding a piping bag in her delicate hands, Kagome shot the Servant a warning look. "It'll be ready in a few minutes. You can have some when it's done." With a swirl of whipped cream, she released a soft sound when the bag came up empty.

With practiced motions, she went back to the bowl of remaining white fluff to refill the piping bag. However, Lancer's finger dipping into the bowl stopped her short.

"Mm~" he hummed in delight. He licked his lips, smirking. "My Master really is talented. I chose wisely when I decided to ally myself to you."

Kagome released an exasperated sigh. "Flattery won't get you anywhere. You still have to wait until I'm done to have a slice of cake," she sternly said.

"It's not flattery if it's true," Lancer retorted. Smirk widening, he sneakily swiped more whipped cream and quickly, before the raven haired beauty could react, smeared it on her cheek and the corner of her mouth.

"What are you doing, Lancer?" she exclaimed, shocked by his actions.

The blue haired Servant easily trapped her body between his and the counter, caging her within his arms. His lips pulled upward into his trademark charming smile.

He leaned forward, boldly licking the cream from her cheek. He practically purred in pleasure. "I knew it," he murmured just loud enough for her to hear. "It tastes even sweeter with the taste of your skin mixed in."

Kagome's cheeks exploded with color, clearly embarrassed. Her hands weakly tried to push him away to give herself some breathing space, but he didn't move an inch. "W-What do you think you're doing?" she stuttered.

"Enjoying my dessert."

With that, Lancer leaned down again to sensuously lick the bit of whipped cream that remained at the corner of her lips.

Gilgamesh

A white-hot fury had engulfed him when he saw that mindless brute – the Servant, Berserker – swipe at Kagome with a massive hand, sending the raven haired beauty flying and crashing harshly against a wall. When she didn't get back up, Gilgamesh could honestly say he felt his very heart freeze and stop altogether.

And then an anger he had never realized lived within his spirit erupted.

Using the most brutal methods possible, Gilgamesh had finished off Berserker as well as removed the heart of Berserker's Master, Illya. In his blind rage, he judged the two as being unworthy of living in the same world as Kagome. They didn't deserve to breathe the same air as her. They didn't deserve to walk the same Earth as her.

They didn't deserve to live if she was no longer alive. And Gilgamesh refused to believe she was dead. He had every confidence that his petite Master was stronger than that.

Blood spattered from his recent kill and littered with scuff marks on his golden good-looks, the King of Heroes moved in the direction Kagome had been tossed. His facial expression was blank, unsure what he would find but prepared.

His crimson eyes landed on the raven haired beauty, who appeared like a broken doll against the stone wall her body was slumped against. She was obviously unconscious, a trickle of blood trailing down the side of her face from a cut along her hairline. Bruises marked once flawless, pale skin and rips and tears ruined once perfect clothes. The way her chest rose and fell steadily had his own breath easing his tight lungs.

"Foolish woman." Unknowingly, his expression softened with relief as he continued to gaze at Kagome. "At the very least, I would not have fallen unconscious from such a weak strike… You were stupid to get in the way."

Gently, being mindful of her injuries, Gilgamesh picked her up bridal-style. When she softly moaned and seemed to curl closer into his warmth, he hummed in contentment, his earlier condemnation seemingly nonexistent.

"As it should be – you should be showing how grateful you are for my generosity. If you had been anyone else, I would not even think to carry you back home. I would simply leave you where you lay."

He continued to stare at her sleeping, innocent features. His facial features suddenly contorted, as if in pain, and his bangs covered his eyes and expression. He held her closer, more protectively, their foreheads touching intimately.

His teeth gritted, he spoke harshly. "You are never allowed to scare me like that again, wife. Do you understand me? You will follow my orders from now on."

Gilgamesh leaned far enough away to place a tender kiss on Kagome's brow. "You are not allowed to leave me," he softly added, his voice the most loving he had ever felt. And it was all aimed at the raven haired beauty he held securely in his arms.

Without another word, the King of Heroes slowly turned and began walking back towards the shrine they called home, his most precious treasure cradled against him.
