Chapter 1600 Be a Kid

Victor was with Velvet as they hang out, the rabbit girl wanted to spend more time with him.
"Well it's nice to be able to spend time with you Victor." She said.
"Yeah, it's good being with you Vel." He said.
She blushes at his words as she smiles. Velvet was always happy being with Victor since he defended her back at Beacon from the bullies.
They saw a big demon come out surprising them.
"Great, now Mundus is ruining my time." Victor said.
Velvet got up. "I'll handle it."
He got surprised. "Well sure."
She takes out her camera that she built. It then activated and she made a copy of Crescent Rose made of blue energy slashing against it.
The demon roars and claws at her as she blocks it before making a copy of his guns shooting at the creature.
Victor chuckles. "Her weapon can copy other ones. While her semblance copies the fighting styles of others."
It something that makes Velvet amazing in combat, and it's what he thinks makes her special. Her ability reminds him of Adam's divine reflection.
She then uses Yang's weapons to punch it away. Then she makes a copy of Kazuo's keyblade to stab at him.
The demon got mad and charges at him, she jumps over it and makes Shiro's HF blade to stab it in the back.
She rushes forward and cuts it in half making the creature turn into ash.
Velvet landed on her feet. "I did it."
He smiles. "Yeah."
They saw Yang come out.
"Yang?" Victor said.
"Victor I need your help, I think I know where she is." Yang said.
Victor got surprised when she said that.
"You mean her?" He said.
Velvet got confused and looks between the two.
"Yes... My own mother." Yang frowns.
"Well you'll need help." Victor said. "Want me to bring Aka?"
She smiles. "Now that's what I like."
"Of course you would want your boyfriend." He said.
"Should I come too?" Velvet asked.
"It's best we make a team. Since it can be dangerous." Victor said.
Knowing Yang's mom from Qrow, she might try something.
'Let's see who we can bring with us.'
With Dusk
He was out in the city before he goes to that other base. Dusk was walking around the streets and he saw through a fence a school with all the kids going to recess.
"Looks like they're having fun." Dusk said
"Yes, it's what kids your age would go and study, then they would go to this hour to have fun." Kir said.
"Yeah but considering what I am now I wouldn't fit in." Dusk said as being a young god is tough since he still has to mature more
"Hey kid..." He saw a man wearing a suit with a mustache. "Why aren't you in school?"
"I'm homeschooled." Dusk said as he does study a lot on his own time.
"Homeschooled. And your parents allow that?" He said.
"They're dead." Dusk said. "My father died before I was born and my mother…"
"Oh..." He frowns. "So you prefer to be home and study on your own."
"Kinda. I don't really fit in with kids my age. I'm not what people call normal." Dusk said.
"I see. But you know, the thing with kids, they think school is bad. But once they come here they meet many people that can understand them. Friends they're age. I was a kid too and I still miss those days. You shouldn't waste your childhood as you only get one." He said.
"Understand huh?" Dusk said.
"Like maybe you shouldn't feel like you wouldn't fit without even trying." The man said.
Dusk was silent for a moment as he couldn't exactly tell the man he was a young god which is why he felt like most kids his age wouldn't understand.
"Everyone is different, it's just trying to find the friends you might like." He said.
"In that case I do have friends." Dusk said.
"Really? Do you all play together like them." He looks at his students.
"We played basketball a couple of times." Dusk said
"Well that's good. But if you ever want to try school theres always a option here. I'm the Principal Prickly. And theres more to having fun and being with friends than just play basketball." He said.
That made Dusk thinks about it.
"Maybe I'll give school a try." Dusk said though he was doubtful. After all he doubts any of the kids have blood on their hands like he does
Prickly smiles. "How about you try recess for a bit."
"Alright." Dusk said.
He goes inside and he dodged a ball.
"Hey sorry about that." A kid with a red hat said. "Hey wanna join we have a member short?"
"Alright. What's the game?" Dusk questions
"Kickball, i'm TJ."
"I'm Dusk. What are the rules?" He asks
"Follow me." He shows Dusk the way.
Dusk got the rules explained and he was actually having fun.
Principal Prickly smiles at the scene since he was happy to have helped a kid in need.
Dusk met many new friends in this school and he can feel like he belongs somewhere without the need of having his friends always there to just keep him company.
He smiles. 'Maybe this won't be so bad.'
Note: Velvet got to fight against a demon as Dusk managed to meet the Recess cast as he got to enjoy time with other kids.
