It's intentions are unknown, but Shinji can tell one thing about it. The aura it gives off is one of malicious intent. It is the predator and Shinji is the prey.

During the battle with the Tenth Angel, Asuka notices something that alters her perception on reality that has far reaching repercussions.

When a flower blooms in the spring, they unfold their petals to release their kin onto the winds of the world, after which they refold to grow and nurture more of their children, however whenever they may bloom again, it's always in a different way than it was the last time.

Shinji was getting tired. The world had burned, but it hadn't. He had died but he was here. What would it take to break things enough to finally move on?

After the Third Impact, Shinji and the others are given the opportunity to go back and fix what went wrong. But when a tangled web of mysteries unfold, and hidden agendas are revealed, they will find that getting it right is easier said than done.
