Hey guy here is chapter two and I hope you like it.
Chapter Two
While filing home Virgil looked to his daughters only to find them asleep, he turns back to look in front of him.
Seeing that Tracy Island was coming into view, he calls home. "TB2 to Tracy Island, 'I'm on final approach to Tracy Island"
His brother Scott answers. "FAB TB2, see you soon"
Once Virgil landed and put TB2 back in her hanger, he did his end pre-flight checks. After he quickly went and got changed into his jeans, plaid shirt and brown boots.
When Virgil returned to where he left his girls, he sees that Emily was awake and that Clara was still asleep. He undone the belt helped Emily to stand, then he undone the belt and picked Clara up without waking her up. In her sleep Clara wrapped her little arms around her daddy's neck, then put her head on his shoulder.
While carrying Clara and holding Emily's hand, Virgil took them up tp the living room where everyone was waiting for him.
Walking in the living room he says. "I'm home"
Everyone turn to see Virgil and that he wasn't alone.
Scott couldn't help but ask. "Virgil who are those girls and why bring them here?"
He sat down with Clara asleep sitting on his lap and Emily sat next to him.
Looking at his girls then turns to the others he replies. "This is Emily and This is Clara, they are my twin daughters"
Everyone was in shock at hearing that Virgil was a father, no one said anything for a few minutes.
He couldn't help it, Gordon shouts . "YOU'RE A FATHER?"
The shout frightened Emily and she tries to hide behind her father's arm, while Clara got scared and wakes up crying.
Trying to calm Clara down with soothing word, and wrapped his arm around Emily in a protective way to help his daughters feel safe.
Virgil looks to his brother. "Gordon don't shout"
Looking sheepishly at Virgil. "I'm sorry…. I didn't mean to scare them"
A elderly lady walked over and keels down in front of the girl, she has short grey hair and sky blue eyes and her name is Sally Tracy, or as her grandsons call her Grandma.
Grandma smiles gently. "Hello dears I'm your great grandma
Getting of the sofa Emily hug her great grandma, as for Clara she was stayed sitting on her father's lap.
Noticing that Clara was shy, Scott went and sat next to Virgil and his she niece.
He smiles gently and says. "Hello I'm your uncle, but you and Emily can call me uncle Scotty"
The girls couldn't help but giggle after they were introduced to uncle John also known as Johnny, Uncle Gordon also known as Gordo, uncle Alan also known as Alli, aunty Kayo and uncle Brains. Soon it was time to eat and everyone went to the kitchen and sat at the table.
While Clara and Emily were busy, Virgil went down to TB2 and got his girls new dinner set and their new big girl bottles. Once he returned to the kitchen, Virgil washed and dried the plates, bowls and bottles.
As she needed to go to the toilet, Clara got down from the chair then ran to her daddy and tugs on his shirt.
Looking down he sees Clara standing there, he kneels down so he was eye level with her.
He put his hand gently on her shoulder. "Clara are you ok?"
She chewed her lip and replies. "I…… need to go to the toilet daddy"
Nodding and standing back up Virgil held his hand out to Clara, she held his hand and Virgil took her to the toilet. Once she finished and her daddy helped her to wash and dry her hands, Virgil took Clara back to the kitchen to eat.
Virgil sat Clara in his seat then he went to the fridge and got the apple juice out, he poured some into his girls water bottles then took them to the table.
He put the bottles in front of Clara and Emily. "Here you go girls, some apple juice"
Both girls reply together. "Thank you daddy"
Everyone started eating and Virgil was keeping a eye on his daughters. While Emily ate her food happily, Clara didn't touch her food.
Being a concerned father, Virgil asked. "Clara are you ok, why aren't you eating?"
She looks up at her father then back down at her hands, when she was living with their mother, Amber would only feed Clara once a week.
She knew that she couldn't keep quite. "Mummy only let Clara eat once a week, I aske her why and mummy said that Clara was a naughty child"
He couldn't believe what he was hearing, Virgil picked Clara up and sat her on his lap.
When she didn't say anything, Virgil put his fingers under her chin and lifted her head till she was looking at him.
He stayed calm. "Clara you don't have to worry anymore, were not going to stop you eating, if your hungry then let me or your uncles, aunty and Grandma know"
She nods gently. "Yes daddy"
After that Clara ate her food happily, once they were done everyone got to know a little more about both girls. Soon it was time for Emily and Clara to have a bath and to put on their pj's.
Putting his girls in the guest bedroom for the night, as Virgil wanted to decorate their new bedroom before letting sleep in there.
She couldn't help it so Emily asked. "Daddy can you read us a story please?"
Both Emily and Clara gave their daddy the puppy dog eyes, he couldn't say no to his beautiful daughters. He sat on the sofa that was in the room, with his girls sitting on either side of him.
As he was half way through the book, he looks down to see his girls had fallen asleep. He put the book down gently and put his girls to bed one at a time. Virgil kissed his girls on the top of their heads and leaving the nightlight on and turning the big light off, he leaves the door open a little in case his little girl need him during in the night.
He bumped into Scott as he was leave the bedroom.
Whispering he says. "Hey I just put my girls to bed, I got to get their bedroom opposite me ready for them"
Nodding in understanding Scott offers. "I can help you if you want, plus it will get their new bedroom done quicker"
Virgil thanked Scott in gratitude and they both went to the room opposite Virgil's. They got half the room ready then headed to bed themselves.
It was 2AM when Emily ran out into the hallway looking for her daddy, she went into one room and saw her uncle Scott coming out of the bathroom.
She runs up to him in tears. "Uncle Scotty…….. Clara is…… having a fit"
He thinks for a second then held Emily's hand and took her to Virgil's room.
Virgil was thinking about getting a glass of water, he sat up quickly as his door abruptly opened and he put his lamp on.
He looks from Scott to Emily then back to Scott. "Scott what's going on and why is Emily out of bed?"
He answers. "Clara is having a fit, and Emily was looking for you"
Before anything else could be said, Virgil jumped out of bed and ran to the room Clara was in. he sees her shaking uncontrollably and rush's to her side, Virgil gently holds her head still while speaking softly to her.
It took 20 minutes to calm Clara down, Virgil gently picked her up and carried her down to the medical room, where he gently put her down on the bed.
Scott had brought Emily down then went and woke Brains up, then Scott went and some coffee for them and the girls apple juice in their big girl bottles.
Brains hooked Clara up to the heart monitor and put a IV drip with saline in her arm, then he drew blood to test and he also put something around her head to monitor her brain wave activity.
The rest of the night was going to long and Virgil would be staying awake watching Clara as she slept, waiting on the results of the test that Brains did.
