Chapter: 4
"Tsukiyama!" Touka announced abruptly when seeing the red wearing purplette. Shuu Tsukiyama waved the air to his nose for a spelling test.
"Ahhh! Just as magnificent as ever, Kirishima-chan." Shuu stated and Naruto appeared behind Touka with an arm around her waist protectively, bringing an angry blush to Touka's cheeks.
"Back off Tsukiyama-teme, this fish is my catch." Naruto spoke dangerously and Touka elbowed him in the ribs from behind, Naruto knelt onto her shoulder for support.
"Ahh, Uzumaki-kun, it's good to see you." Shuu commented while rubbing his arm uncomfortably, Touka and the rest snickered while Naruto stood fully and smirked triumphantly.
"You want another hand up that trap you call an ass or is it still full?" Naruto joked unintentionally bringing a vein to the red suit wearing man's forehead. The residents of the café closed their mouths to stop the laughter from coming out.
"Ohhh, you are still the fighter I see? You should've just come to my place to talk things over!" Shuu put on a fake smile and Naruto ran up to him and punched his gut, but Shuu barely blocked it. "My, my Uzumaki-kun. You seem to have gotten weaker haven't you?" Tsukiyama mocked the red-head who stared into Tsukiyama's eyes venomously, Shuu was strong on the outside but on the inside he was a shivering wreck.
Naruto brought Tsukiyama's head down for a headbutt, Shuu reared his head back with blood spewing out of his nostrils. He followed up with too fast knees to Shuu's gut which made him cough up blood.
"Naruto! Enough!" Touka yelled to her boyfriend, Naruto reluctantly let go of him with a kick to the man's stomach. He walked back to Touka and embraced her softly; intentionally bringing a smile to the young woman's face.
"Thank you." Naruto whispered and kissed the top of her head, Shuu smirked and stood.
"Hmpt, still Kirishima-chan's lap dog?" Shuu mocked while wiping the blood from his nose, he then noticed something, something delicious, almost as good as Naruto-kun. Snapping to the source, he saw Kaneki standing off to the side nervously. "And who is this fine specimen?" Shuu asked, walking to the black-haired boy and circled him to download as much info on his man in his brain. "What's your name?"
Kaneki stepped back nervously. "I-I'm Ken Kaneki s-sir." He spoke nervously, Shuu leaned and sniffed the back of Kaneki's neck before letting out a soft moan of pleasurable delight.
"C'est magnifique…" Tsukiyama said with a moan at the end of his speech. Kaneki shivered at his tone.
"Leave him alone, you weirdo. As you can see, he's not interested." Naruto said while shoo-ing him away.
"You really haven't changed at all, Naruto-kun." Shuu said before he clasped his hand on Kaneki's shoulder once more. "Give Yoshimura my best. I can't wait to try your coffee." Tsukiyama said while dragging his hand off Kaneki's shoulder. "Goodbye for now, my sweet Kaneki-kun."
Naruto heard the insinuation in the purple haired man's voice and didn't like it.
"Woah. Who was he?" Kaneki asked while resuming wiping down the table. Naruto gained a serious look.
"Don't drop your guard around that weirdo. He's one of the 20th wards pedophiles…" Naruto said with a serious expression, he was immediately whacked on the back of the head by Touka who was shaking her fist.
"S-say it properly!" She ordered, and Naruto blew her a raspberry.
"Fine! He's one of the 20th wards parasites, when he sees something he wants, he tries his hardest to get it." Naruto said, he looked at Touka to see if she appreciated his more "professional" approach.
"Ok, so he's a creepy guy that dresses in suits? Noted." Kaneki said and Naruto nodded. Naruto looked at his watch before he began freaking out.
"Crap! Touka-chan, we're gonna be late!" Naruto stated and Touka shook her head at her boyfriend.
"It's ok, it's just around the corner. We'll make it, alright. Calm down." Touka said while patting him on the back. Koma laughed, and Naruto glared at him.
"And what's so funny, Mr. Devil-Ape?" Naruto asked while activating his kakugan, giving Enji his most menacing stare, but Koma wasn't at all frightened. He just laughed it off.
"Calm down, Naruto. You take things way too serious, lighten up and take a breath." Koma said and Naruto huffed while leaving to get ready for school, Touka followed after him with a sigh.
"H-hey, Koma. Who's the Devil-Ape?" Kaneki asked, Koma pointed a proud finger to himself.
"Yours truly, I'm the leader of the Devil-Ape's that used to scour the 20th and 19th ward!" Koma said with a grin, quickly flashing his kakugan to intimidate Kaneki, which did.
School
Naruto was sitting on a table with several of his friends surrounding him.
"So, how's life with Ms. Kirishima?" His friend, Denji asked. Naruto shook his head while glancing at Touka across a few tables, she was eating bread, easy to cough up when needed to.
"What can I say, it's going pretty good." Naruto said, he then saw Touka's friend Yoriko trying to feed her a meatball. Naruto was seeing if Touka would decline it, but in the end she ate it and flicked Yoriko's forehead, Naruto just grabbed his bag when the bell rang.
When he was in the main hall of the school, he saw Touka speed to the girls bathroom with a hand over her mouth, blocking the vomit from releasing he assumed. He shook his head before following Touka.
He waited outside the bathroom, as Touka came out and walked past him and fainted. The blonde however caught her in his arms, and placed her on his back before walking out of the school's main building.
"Troublesome woman." Naruto shook his head while walking to the principal's office. He looked at the office later once before nodding at her. She nodded at the redhead and signed him and Naruto out.
"Thanks Himeno-chan." Naruto said and left out the front door.
Anteiku
When Koma and Irimi were serving some customers, two investigators to be exact, Naruto came in with his girlfriend slung over his back.
"Yo. She fainted, probably from dehydration?" Naruto suggested and walked past Koma, he was going to leave for Touka's room when one of the investigators called out to him.
"Young man, have we met before? You look vaguely familiar." A white haired man said with a crazed grin. Naruto looked back at him, squinting his eyes to get a better look before shrugging his shoulders and turning around.
"Sorry, old man. Your guess is as good as mine." He said and retreated to the staff area.
"Mr. Mado, why did you ask that?" Amon asked with a raised eyebrow, he was sporting some bruise patches. Mado paid for the coffee before he could try it, and stood up from his seat, grabbing his new suitcase and walking out.
"My apologies. He's having a bad day. Thanks for the coffee." Amon said and ran after Mado with his quinque.
Irimi and Koma shared a look before she pressed an intercom. "Naruto, reckon you can make a trip down to the shop. Thank you." The black haired beauty asked politely after all the customers left and Koma turned the 'open' sign 'closed'.
Naruto came back into the shop with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Yo!" He greeted them with a questioning look. Irimi and Koma shook their heads at the redhead's denseness.
"Put some clothes on, dude." Koma said with a face palm. Irimi giggled.
"After my shower." Naruto said and walked back to the back. After refreshing himself, feeling fresh and clean he returned back into the shop to see Koma and Irimi cleaning the same table, both smiling and laughing.
"Quit flirting and explain why you called me back to the shop." Naruto said with a yawn. Koma and Irimi then became serious.
"Were you apprehended by those men?" Irimi asked while activating her kakugan. Koma backed her up by activating his own.
Naruto just went into a thinking pose, becoming thoughtful for a second. He then gave them a sheepish grin. "I don't know, everything's a bit fuzzy." He laughed.
Koma's bikaku then took form in the shape of a monkey's tail. He wrapped it around the redhead's waist and Irimi pointed her sharpened claws at him threateningly.
"Take this seriously, Kitsune. Were you followed?" She coldly remarked, Naruto saw the aura of both. The aura emitting from both was taking up the whole room, Koma's took shape of an ape while Irimi's resembled a black dobermann
"I'd suggest you watch who you're threatening, dobermann." Naruto whispered, his eye activating and he broke out of Koma's bonds and kicked him away before grabbing Irimi's hand and slamming her into the table they just cleaned.
He blocked a punch from Koma and caught Irimi's hand before maneuvering around them, pressing their arms into their backs. "Calm down, guys. They didn't follow me, they just tried going after some helpless ghouls and I straightened 'em out!" Naruto said and let their hands go.
"Naruto, we have simple lives and we like it." Irimi said with Koma nodding. The redhead nodded as well.
"I know, he's Kureo Mado. The guy literally oozes with smart vibes, he probably memorized my voice and assumed I was the same guy." Naruto said and cleaned up the mess.
"Naruto, you realize that if you make one more mistake that we'll have to kill more innocent lives for no reason due to the damage you cause." Koma reminded him, the redhead nodded and glared at him.
"Koma, if you're referring to me having to take out that guy, trust me. I'll do it, one slip up and he's dead." Naruto said before leaving upstairs.
Irimi looked at Koma.
"You were scared, weren't you?" She said with a cheeky smirk, Koma scoffed.
"As if, you were the shaking pup out of the pen." Koma said and felt eyes on him.
"Want to repeat that?" She asked while pointing her nails at his throat.
With Naruto
Naruto walked into Touka's room, he saw her laying on the bed with her back turned to him. He heard her breathing, figuring she was still sleeping. He took a seat in the chair next to the bed with a book in his hand and a pencil.
"Syllabus. S-y-l-l-a-b-u-s." He crossed out the word on the list of words for the word search. "Now, five across, antonym." He said.
This continued till he got a knock on the door, he crossed out the last word before opening the door. He saw Yoshimura with Kaneki and Yomo.
"Here to scold me, old man. Huh?" Naruto guessed when he stepped out of the room and closed the door.
"No, Naruto. I'm not going to scold you, Yomo and Kaneki are going out and I asked him to take you to help poor Kaneki." Yoshimura said, Naruto heard the insinuation in his voice, it wasn't a question.
He looked back at Touka's door and sighed.
"Can you tell her where I'm gone if she wakes up?" Naruto asked Yoshimura who nodded.
"Of course. Stay safe." He said seriously and everyone left.
Yomo, Kaneki, and Naruto arrived at an underground training area. Naruto knew this place, Renji had trained the redhead back in the day.
"Naruto, why has Yomo taken us here?" Kaneki asked his red haired companion. Said companion looked at him and grinned. He was dressed in a pair of white pants a black short fitting shirt and black martial art slippers.
"Training." Was his simple answer and Yomo stopped, causing them two to stop. He took off his jacket and turned to the two.
"The doves have been spotted around the shop. They're closing in on us and we aren't always gonna be with you." Yomo said to Kaneki who gulped.
"Wait, what's going on?" He frighteningly asked while backing away. Naruto stopped him and encouraged him to go.
"Let's go!" Yomo called out. He threw several straight punches, Kaneki dodging all of them. Yomo attempted a lead hook but missed, he then used the momentum of his hook to put him in a kicking position and knocked Kaneki down.
He was left panting before he slowly sat up.
"On the bright side, you're a natural at dodging attacks. You need to improve your offense though." He said and put his hands up again.
"Again?" Kaneki asked once he regained his breath. He heard cracking behind him, he turned to see his friend cracking his back by clasping his hands together from behind and pushed them up.
"It's my turn." Naruto said.
He and Yomo then began their spar.
Timeskip
Naruto, Yomo, Kaneki, and surprisingly Uta were sitting in a bar that was closed for a special night.
"Hey sis." Naruto greeted his sister, Itori. She was a beautiful figure with flowing red locks like her brother, brown eyes like their mother and a voluptuous body.
Itori wrapped an arm around her brother's shoulders and kissed his cheek. "Hey bro, how's school, ay?" She giggled and the redhead grumbled. He and Renji were covered in scratches, Kaneki was treated to probably the best fight he'd ever seen in his life.
"Crap. But it's a way I can keep my eyes on Touka-chan. So I guess it's fine." Naruto said while downing a cup of blood. Itori laughed and screamed 'alright'. She then jumped over the counter and filled a glass of blood for Kaneki.
"Down the hatch." She said, Kaneki began sputtering, suspecting the substance was alcohol. "Down be silly, it's not wine!" She then drenched him in it, he confusedly cleaned his face before his eyepatch was removed. "Wow, you were right. A half-breed!" She exclaimed.
Kaneki looked so frightened it made her heart quench and he covered his face.
"Sorry, but it's just us ghouls here." She gave him a towel to dry off, and a coffee as an apology. She took a seat next to Kaneki and stared at him intently.
Naruto's head popped over Itori's shoulder, looking at Kaneki.
"I wonder if the other hybrid is like Kaneki?" he said, indirecting peeking Kaneki's interest.
"Wait, there's more like me, are you one?" He asked, he was curious due to Naruto's and Itori's blood relations.
"Me, no. Fully realized ghoul!" She said proudly, and Naruto grumbled. "But to answer your first question, yes. Yes there are more like you, my little brother standing above all of them." She said and giggled while hugging her brother.
"Well, I wouldn't go that far, Itori. We must be humble." Uta said while Naruto sarcastically looked at him.
"But I am."
"Arima can whoop Eto no diff, and I can contend with her and probably come out on top." Naruto said confidently, he was confident he could take out Eto Yoshimura if he needed to.
"Can you defeat Arima, though?" Uta said with a challenging grin. Naruto thought about it for a second.
"Who know's. I oughta check it out." Naruto said with a devilish grin.
"Get back to the topic." Renji said while downing whiskey. Itori then turned to Kaneki.
"Ok, if a human and a ghoul fell in love with each other, what'll you get if they conceive?" She asked.
"You'd get a hybrid between the two of them, I think." He said, she then looked blissful.
"A corpse is what you'll get. Even if the baby survives, it'll be too weak to survive." Itori said, Kaneki looked down, then what was he, Naruto and this Eto person?
"But there are a select few who beat the odds, and gave birth to a healthy one-eyed." She said, shaking the ice in her glass around.
"Just like me. A half-breed."
"For some unknown reason, a half-breed is far stronger than a full blooded one, and has much more potential. And the breed has one red eye, on the opposite side of yours." She said, while closing her eyes and reopening her left eye.
"But then again, those stories are closer to rumors. Because some ghouls theorize that no half-breed can ever have a kakuja that strong. But they'd be wrong."
"A kakuja? What is a kakuja?" Kaneki asked.
"A kakuja, my one armed friend is a cannibal. Usually cannibalism is frowned upon in the ghoul world, to eat anothers kind is sin." Itori said, Naruto chuckled.
"Wait, what?!" Kaneki exclaimed, Itori giggled.
"Yup. And everyone but you, is one." She said, Kaneki then looked at Naruto.
"Even you, Naruto?"
"Yes. Even me." Naruto said and drank more blood, it wasn't a bad liquid to fall back on if you're a ghoul. Itori labeled it bloody-mary.
"Yup, little-Naruto our mother while I ate our Papa. I was 17, he was 7." Itori said with a grin, Naruto also grinned. Their mother wanted them to live, so he ate her when she died after fighting a swarm of CCG.
"Wow, that sounds terrifying." Kaneki said, and shuttered on what a cannibal Naruto would look like.
"Yes, yes, yes. Bloody-Reynard was his name when he was feasting on ghouls to get stronger. He believes he's reached his ceiling, we doubt that." Itori said. Kaneki asked one more question about Rize before they left back to the shop. Yomo dropped Kaneki off at his apartment, and took him and Naruto back to Anteiku.
The doorbell ringing, Yoshimura looked up from his brewing of another batch of coffee. Naruto and Yomo stepped in and he greeted them with a bow.
"Yomo, Naruto. How is young Itori?" Yoshimura asked, and Naruto gave him a thumbs up. The old man then looked at Naruto with a serious expression. "Naruto, you know I don't like you drawing attention to yourself." Yoshimura said, and the redhead groaned.
"Come on, old man. It was for a good cause!" Naruto said and sighed.
"Yes, Kenshin and Hibiki gave me their thanks. They've moved to the 13th Ward, they'll be completely invisible." The manager said, Naruto nodded. "I thought I asked you to only dawn your mask in times of emergency, why were you wearing it?" Yoshimura asked, Naruto fiddled.
"You were trying to look for a fight." Yomo said, Naruto glared at him.
"Naruto." Yoshimura sighed before smiling. "I'll let this one slide. Go up stairs, Touka just woke up."
"Night, Renji. Manager." Naruto then retreated upstairs and went to Touka's room. He knocked a few times before entering, he was greeted by a sight that amused him.
"Touka-chan, I know you're awake." Naruto said, Touka then turned over and glared at him.
"Why'd you sign me out?"
"You fainted." Naruto took off his tight shirt, and white pants, leaving him in a pair of black shorts. He then opened his arms. "Come on, you're weak. You need strength." Naruto said, Touka nodded but couldn't stand up. He did the courtesy to lift her up and she wrapped her arms and legs around him.
"Eat away."
Touka grew an evil smile before her kakugan activated and she bit into his shoulders before moaning at the flavour it brought. He tasted like the best thing ever, and she wanted more.
