I always wondered why Legolas was to so quick to jump in and join the Fellowship without a second thought. The reasons could have gone beyond the call to step up and do the right thing. Was he also running away from something, or toward something?

Legolas Greenleaf tried not to dwell upon his mate, no matter how much he longed to seek her out. The last name of 'Fay' had been long forgotten.
