Black Rose attacked first, charging after Peter. Olivia stopped her with her staff, shoving her back.

"Leave them out of this. Olly, go find and stop Darethend. Anyone who wants to can go with him. I need to fight Black Rose alone."

Olly nodded and left.

"Okay, so father just swishes the staff around, right? Then I wonder what will happen if I do this..." She drew an infinity sign in the air, using the lines her staff created when it moved. Nothing happened, and Black Rose laughed again. "Uh...Why didn't anything shoot out?"

"You really do know nothing." She smacked Olivia to the ground with her tail. "You're not even a real dragon! Fur? Goat ears? A feather on the tip of your tail? You're like some sort of disgusting hybrid! And you don't even know how to cast a simple spell? Pathetic."

Olivia noticed the symbol didn't move, so she waved her staff in a circle, which moved the symbol back in front of her.

"It's worth a shot. Fireball!"

A small ball of fire shot out from the tip of her staff, hitting Black Rose between the eyes. Black Rose gave her a confused look.

"That was supposed to do something?"

"I don't know how to use magic! Much less a staff..."

Black Rose breathed fire at Olivia, burning a bit of her fur. Olivia scrambled away from her.

"I-I'm a dragon, right? That means I can breathe fire, right?"

She tried, but it ended with her coughing up a bunch of smoke. Black Rose grabbed her in her jaws and started biting her. Out of fear, Olivia scratched Black Rose's eye, making her drop Olivia. Olivia scurried away, holding out her staff again.

"Come on, do something! Please!"

The tip of the staff lit up yellow, and fired in the center of Black Rose's head. The end of the fire came out the tip of her tail. Black Rose fell to the floor, finally dead.

"I-I just killed her! I...beat her. I won!" She hopped in a small circle excitedly. "I'm not worthless! Take that, Olly! Wait, Olly needs my help." She put her staff on her back. "Okay, I've used Lemon's power before, so I know how to use wings. I just need to..."

Her left wing twitched a bit, and she found how to flap them both shortly after. She rose from the ground and cheered.

"Don't worry Olly, I'm coming."
