So just want to let you know this may be my last chapter for a while, while I got a new power cord for my computer after the last one died, my battery is still bloated making my computer a potential health hazard, while I've got peace and quiet I mostly am taking the time to write down some chapters in my notebooks to my Fictionpress stories

After they had finished lunch the Von Kaiser, Glass Joe and the Turtles took the Mutant Cubs back to the WVBA Gym.

Along the way, Glass Joe asked Dana as quietly as he could "Why did you ask about that? I really don't think it was the time or the place to ask THAT kind of question!"

"I believe you got very angry with me when I wasn't completely honest with you about my time in the lab and what I was created for…" The Mutant Doberman replied quietly "...And I just have a feeling by looking at that Piglet...Just call it a hunch...That she was a part of something BIG...Most Mutants are pretty upfront about what they were created for, Bacon Bit hasn't said a word about it…"

Once they got settled back down at the gym, Von Kaiser sat back down on his stool and said

"Now then...Where was I? Oh yes! The first few moments of terror…"

FLASHBACK

In a few minutes there was a solid stream of panicked humans racing outside the WVBA Gym! To the boxers absolute horror quite a few children were getting trampled by the stampede!

"We got to do something!" Little Mac shouted as he began to race for the door

Von Kaiser grabbed Little Mac "There is nothing you can do!" The German Boxer yelled as he struggled to keep Little Mac from breaking free of his grip "Can't you see it is practically a solid mass of humanity outside?! You'll only get hurt yourself! Something of the people getting trampled are the same size you are!"

The radio reporting was still going on at this time, a reporter in Queens was standing on a rooftop reporting some of the creatures looked like… 'Elephants with flamethrower trunks'

Just as the reporter said "I've never seen anything like this ladies and gentlemen! There was a bird-like screech, the reporter screamed and for a brief moment silence…

Then the anchorman said "It appears reporter Jeff Dannels has been attacked by some kind of...Bird-Like creature...That's what the cameraman who got away reported to us…"

Elephants? Birds? This really was beginning to sound like a whole menagerie of enemies when before with the Triceraton Invasion, and then Bishop's Aliens the Invaders all seemed to come from the same species…

Many panicked people when they reached the docks jumped into the water with no thought for the safety...However...Eleanor also knew some Aquatic Tribes of Mutant Fish, Dolphins and other Aquatic Species, so while most of them hadn't been their at Eleanor's rally they had promised to come when she called so the humans of New York screamed in horror when they saw the people who jumped in the water getting attacked by Mutant Sharks and other Aquatic Species.

Disco Kid upon realizing the Invaders were in Queens and Brooklyn where his family lived is right next to Queens began desperately trying to call his family but they weren't picking up the phone making him fear the worst.

All this time, none of them had any thoughts King Hippo's recent disappearance might have anything to do with this strange nightmare…

So yeah even as the Boxers have started the boxing classes for Mutants, they still haven't put two and two together and realized King Hippo is actually a mutant hippo who mutated into near perfect human form or what the Palladium RPG calls Human Looks: Full the reason for this is because Mutants with full human looks are VERY rare, normally only that way because they were deliberately engineered by experiments into that form, while the knowledge that Doctor Feral's bodyguard Otto was a Rat that had been built into looking like a human man, most don't apply that to other mutants, also human looking mutants...Tend to not be liked by fellow mutant animals or humans when they get found out Animalistic Mutants are envious for human looking mutants ability to pass and tend to write them off as potential traitors while humans don't like the 'perceived' deception at least with mutants that look like animals walking on their hind legs you know what you're getting
