Ness wished he had a tux, but he never thought he would go on a date. Especially THE GIRL OF HIS DREAMS! Hmm, a tux would be too much anyway. They're going bowling. Who wears a tux to the arcade?
Things aren't the same as his scenario, but the fact that he and Tina are going to hang out tonight made him the happiest guy.
He decided to dress his usual preppy self. A buttoned up shirt with a indigo sweater over it. As for his pants he went with dark gray cargo ones. He of course did not forget about his signature cap and rucksack.
He was about to open the door, but he forgot that he didn't have any money. He went to his desk and desperately dug around. He found an envelope. It was a happy birthday gift from Lucas years ago. There was a card and a hundred dollar bill in there.

Yes! Lucas is the best! He knows him so well. He put the money in his pocket and left the room. He nervously made his way over to Tina's.
Knock! Knock!
She answered. She was wearing a tank top with black shorts. She looked hot.
Tina: "Damn, you look nice."
Ness: "Y-you do too!"
Tina: "Aww, shucks. Thank you. Alright, let's go."
She grabbed his hand. He immediately started blushing. She let out a cute giggle and together they left the mansion. They walked across The Great Eldin Bridge and made it to the mall.
Wow, Ness barely went here. This place is huge! There's a roller coaster here. That's crazy! She guided him to the fourth floor where the arcade was located. He looked at the place in awe. It's like one giant gamer room.
Tina and Ness went to the receptionist desk. She was going to pay, but he beat her to it.
Tina: "Damn, you were quick to do that."
Ness: "Haha! Y-yeah."
She grabbed his arm and pulled him over to the bowling section. They started playing. He's never bowled before, so he was pulling gutters left and right. She laughed, which made him feel embarrassed, but when she got a gutter she started laughing harder.
Tina: "Holy shit, I fuckin missed that. Hahaha!"
This made him lighten up a bit. He felt like cheating using his telekinetic powers, but seeing her miss made him feel better that he sucked. She doesn't care if he's bad. She's genuinely having fun. She gave off this safe atmosphere around her.
They kept bowling and Ness was slowly getting better. She was praising him left and right. He of course started to fall for her even more. She's so… Bubbly and sweet.
Tina: "Hey, wanna play some DDR?"
Ness: "M-me? Oh no, I can't dance."
Tina: "Who cares! It's all about having fun~"
Ness: "Um…"
Tina: "If you want you can just watch me."
Ness: "Yeah, I'd like that~"
She picked a song and started dancing. She picked the hardest mode and she was absolutely killing it. She was so good that she started doing flips and shit.
After she was done, he showered with her compliments. He caught her blushing a little. He got her to blush!
Tina: "Thanks, you're too kind."
Ness: "No, really. You were amazing! I wish I could move like that."
Tina: "You could."
Ness: "I'm not much of a dancer."
Tina: "You can be. Just takes practice."
Ness: "I dunno if it's my thing."
Tina: "Maybe, I'll take you dancing one of these days. You might surprise yourself."
Ness: "Y-yeah ok!"
Tina: "We could totally go to a club one of these days."
Ness: "I've never been to one."
Tina: "Shut up. What!"
Ness: "I don't go out much."
Tina: "We need to fuckin' change that!"
Ness: "We do?"
Tina: "Yaaas! Clubs are so fuckin' fun! What about concerts? Been to any?"
Ness: "I've been to one when I was a kid."
Tina: "Ugh, you're killin' me right now."
Ness: "Haha…"
Tina: "I gotta take you out more! Live the crazy wild life!"
Ness: "T-take me out more?"
Tina: "Yes! You need to start partying like it's the last day of your life."
Ness: "I mean, if it's with you I don't mind."
Tina: "I'm the party queen. Of course it's gotta be with me!"
Ness: "Haha, ok!"
Tina: "Actually if you want, Splatfest is coming up."
Ness: "What's Splatfest?"
Tina: "Only the best concert ever! It's an inkling and octoling ritual."
Ness: "I never heard of this."
Tina: "Usually only inklings and Octolings go, BUT I've seen lots of spirits here in smash join. Anyone is welcome."
Ness: "I'm a little nervous."
Tina: "Don't be!"
Ness: "Would I fit in?"
Tina: "Absolutely. We don't discriminate."
Ness: "Ok! I would be down."
Tina: "Oh my god I love you! Yes! It's gonna be so much fun!"

Ness had a big smile on his face. He knew he was reading too much into it, but hey, a guy can dream.
Tina dragged him into a photo booth and together they took fun silly pictures. They both kept a copy.
Tina: "I'm going to treasure this forever."
Ness: "!"
Tina: "What's that look for? Hahaha! Am I being too corny?"
Ness: "N-no! I'll treasure this too."
Tina: "You better, or else I'm gonna kill ya."
Ness: "Hahaha! What!"
Tina: "I'm messin'!" *Elbows him*
The two had a great time at the arcade. As they walked back, they decided to sit at the edge of The Great Eldin Bridge. They dangled their legs and stared at the night sky.
Ness: "Not too long ago, it was sunny out."
Tina: "Time goes by fast when you're having fun."
Ness: "You had fun?"
Tina: "Of course I did!"
Ness: "Me too!"
Tina: "Ya know, next time we hang out, we should go to the skate park so I can show you my sick moves."
Ness: "Sick moves, huh?"
Tina: "What, you doubtin' my skills?"
Ness: "N-no!"
Tina bumped into him purposely.
Tina: "Loosen up, bro. You can make fun of me, ya know. No need to be a gentleman."
Ness: "Hey! I'm not one to judge."
Tina: "The big question is, do you think you can out-skill me?"
Ness: "No, of course not."
Tina: "Are you just saying that? You seem like the competitive type."
Ness: "How did you know?"
Tina: "It's written on your face."
Ness: "Haha…"
Tina: "We gotta one up each other. I wanna see you try and best me. IF you can. I'm pretty good."
Ness: "Oh yeah?" *Smirks*
Her acting all cocky spiked his competitive nature.
Tina: "Yeah, I think I can top ya."
Ness: "I dunno. I've been riding for years now."
Tina: "Please. I'm all about showin' off."
Ness: "Hmm, I'll have to see it to believe it."
Tina: "Oh, getting cocky, are we?"
Ness: "Maybe a little. I've practiced for a long time. I know a lot of tricks."
Tina: "Oh I'm gonna win even if I have to play a little dirty~"
That last comment got Ness to fold. Are they flirting right now? Play a little dirty. What did she mean by that?
Ness: "W-wha?"
Tina: "Teehee~ You'll understand later."
Ness: "Later? What's later?"
Tina: "Next time we hit the park, you'll see."
His face went bright pink. He looked away, so she wouldn't see. She let out a sexy giggle and grabbed his chin and made him face her. Wait, this was the scenario he was daydreaming about, but she's being the one in control instead. He's the guy, he's the one that's supposed to-

Ness: "I-I…"
Are they about to kiss? Their faces were inches apart. She moved her face a bit closer and then smiled. She stood up and handed out her hand. He stared at her shocked. What just happened?
Tina: "C'mon, lemme take you home."
Ness: "T-take me?"
Tina: "Yeah, gotta protect my princess."
Ness: "P-Princess?"
Tina: "Grab my hand, Princess."
Ness: "!"
He was caught off guard. She's so dominant. He knew she gave off this independent tomboy vibe, but damn she's definitely not a girly girl. He nervously grabbed her hand. She pulled him up. Damn, she's strong too. Well of course, she's a smasher after all.
Tina walked Ness back to his room.
Tina: "Wasn't that fun?"
Ness: "It was!"
Tina: "Did I catch you off guard?"
Ness: "Y-No!"
Tina: "Your cheeks are still red."
Ness: "It's because you're hot. No! I mean it's hot!"
Tina: *Giggles* "See ya around~"
Ness: "Y-yeah ok. S-see ya."
He watched her walk off. What just happened? Was that a friend date, or a date date? What were they? They were flirting at the bridge. That was flirting, right? Is she into him? They totally almost kissed!

He changed to a simple shirt with only boxers on. He turned off all the lights and jumped on his bed. He went on his phone and had a big smile on his face. He started going through her pictures again.
After an hour of staring, he put his phone down. He couldn't stop thinking about her. She's so chill and feels safe. Despite her monotone voice, she loves to talk a lot and is a total party animal. She's fun and exciting! A bit on the crazy side, but it was a nice change.
He had a hard time falling asleep, so he decided to take melatonin. Another thirty minutes went by and he was able to fall into a deep slumber.
He ended up dreaming. It started off nice. First he was walking in a tunnel and it was full of beautiful lights. He kept walking, enjoying the view until he saw a figure up ahead. He raced over there and saw Tina. She smiled at him and spread her arms for a hug. He gladly went over and hugged her.
Luigi: "You feel nice."
What? He looked up and saw that he was hugging Luigi instead of Tina.
Luigi: "Hi, Ness."
Ness woke up. He was sweating. He was genuinely afraid there for a second. Luckily it was only a dream. No, more like a nightmare. He shuddered at the thought of ever talking to Luigi which he knows is inevitable.
He checked his phone and realized it was 9:30am. He's up early for once. When does he start work again? He checked his message that Professor Oak sent him. Looks like he starts later in the day. Thank God. He's terrible at waking up early.
He got up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a shower. After that, Lucky jumped on him and demanded to be taken outside.
Ness: "Ok, ok, we're going."
Ness grabbed Lucky's leash. The Espeon started doing happy spins. The two went outside and went to the PokePark.
He sat on a bench while Lucky went off to go play. He went on his phone and saw that Tina sent him a funny meme. He chuckled and sent her one of his favorites.

He and Tina continued to text for hours. He didn't realize the time. It's almost time to go to work! He quickly sent Lucky back inside his ball and he rushed over to the PokeDayCare Center.
He went to the receptionist and asked where to go.
Receptionist: "Oh you're the new hire."
Ness: "Yeah, where do I go exactly?"
Receptionist: *Points to a direction* "Follow that hall down there. You'll see a door that says day care."
Ness: "Thank you."
Receptionist: "No problem~"
Ness: "Oh, do you know if Professor Oak is here today?"
Receptionist: "You just missed him."
Ness: "Oh, do you know who's going to train me?"
Receptionist: "Another employee is here today."
Ness: "Ok, thank you!"
Receptionist: "Good luck and have fun~"
Ness raced down over to the hall. He found the door that said day care. He took a deep breath. It's his first day, he didn't know what to expect. He wondered if he'll get along with the other employee that's here today. He reached for the door knob and twisted it. Ok, here goes nothing.
He opened the door. The room was humongous. There were so many Pokemon out and about. It looked like a zoo.
A Pokemon noticed him and immediately jumped in his arms. It was a Happiny.
Ness: "Aww, hey little guy."
Happiny: "Haap!"
Ness: "D'aww you're so cute~"
The Happiny started snuggling up all over him. Another Pokemon noticed his existence and rubbed its cheek on his leg. It was a Purloin. This job doesn't seem so bad. What was he worried about? The Pokemon already like him.
?: "Purloin! Where'd you go?"
Ness looked up to see the other employee. His eyes widened in shock. It was none other than Leaf The Pokemon Trainer.
Leaf: "N-Ness?!"
Ness: "H-hi."
Happiny: "Haaa…. Haaaa!" *Vomits*
