GraceNovamon just free floated in the air, while their DigiDestined partner, showed signs of great pain from the fusion of their respective Digimon Apolomon and Dianamon, Trisiras had you arms spread hands to the sky laughing euphorically as she had personally created what was above, she started dancing in a circle like a giddy child that just gotten the toy she had always wanted her whole life, a kind of demented glutenous yearning, KazeLeporimon seeing that Trisiras was possibly not paying attention nodded in the direction of Mikuni, they launched into an attempted double team but it failed since Trisiras just nonchalantly dodged every wind blade and quarterstaff strike still looking up at GraceNovamon, till a wind blade caught her slightly across the face, she wiped her face with the palm of her hand, coming away with blood, her expression was of anger and confusion, she now licked it, which made her angrier, seemingly dawning on her that she had just been hurt
"How dare you make me bleed my blood," Trisiras said, angrily as the wound healed itself, she clutched her hand into a fist, and in it appeared a very long Katana "Pick one of your friends, who you hold most cherished, and I'll start by killing them"
Mikuni charged in ignoring Trisiras bringing her quarterstaff down on her, but it was quickly sliced in half, and she crumpled to the ground, blood splattering around her like she was being cut in rapid succession, she charged again at Trisiras only to be impaled on the Katana, her blood splattering on it, which burned, cauterized as the blade was removed, she then fell to the ground gasping for air looking down at her broken quarterstaff, it had been a gift from her uncle, she fought not to cry as a champion never cries, she clutched what was once a long wooden staff, it parts started to glow.
"I Pity You…I cherish all my Companions Equally" Mikuni said, as she grabbed her quarterstaff which seemingly had been renewed, and charged once at Trisiras, when her staff clashed with the Katana it, wind blades shot from it, she seemed to drawn to each wind blade, she was caught into a torrent of wind to each one, each time she grabbed a wind blade it shot her towards Trisiras slicing her badly, this repeated until all the wind blades that shot out of her staff were gone, in the process she had knocked Trisiras flying "Now fade into nothing, like an unwanted memory"
It looked like Trisiras was fading, as she was flying backwards, her arms spread like she was preparing for an embrace "I'll never be a memory, since its not over, far from it" she said before stopping in mid air, she was ascending into the sky and vanished into GraceNovamon's chest, and its face began to morph, it now had three of them one for Tri, one for Si, and one for Ras "Fun isn't something you think you would consider when bringing balance to a world, but this does bring a smile to my face" her now echoed though the realm of though in all three of their voice all at once, before combining into one face, that of Trisiras, but with all three voices before that merged into one as well.
Takajin let out a scream, at the same time as Trisiras made contact with GraceNovamon, this hurt him so badly because of connection with digimon partner Apolomon. He was still on his knees, crouched clutching his gut in agony, when a hand with a pair of goggles holding them dangling under his face, they were his, he looked up to see who it was that were offering them back to him.
"Little Brother" said a girl dressed in light Teal. With yellow shorts wearing similar goggles to the ones she was offering to Takajin.
"Hikaru!" said Takajin taking measure of his big sister, who seemed to be having issues with standing but remained so even with the same pain he was having with her Digimon partner being just part of a forced Digivolution like him she hadn't been ready for it either, was this something they could use since it wasn't likely a very stable form since neither of them had been strong enough to do this on there own or the discipline to control it so its not powerful to destroy them with one attack or use any of its own attacks just the ones from combination of Apolomon and Dianamon together with what attacks Trisiras brings to the fight, which could serious hurt them still, but not vaporize them from the them or the planet itself. That's when he noticed it wasn't just his sister here so was Vergil, Leoben, Huang, and Mikuni had stopped fighting momentarily to join them, she was breathing heavily, probably realizing she couldn't take on Trisiras in her current form by herself, showing she had matured a lot since they had first met last year. Or was it her digimon partner had reverted to its rookie form. Lopmon, she had him cradled in her arms, Takajin had never seen Lopmon ever this injured before.
Vergil crouched down to Takajin "Where is Trisiras" he asked, since he hadn't been there for the merging, and didn't know Dianamon and Apolomon had fused and Trisiras had fused with them too.
Takajin had problems talking and just wordlessly pointed up at GraceNovamon, pain once again shooting up in his chest, the connection felt like it was getting stronger, that's when Hikaru helped him to his feet, and they both helped each other to stay standing.
"looking at this Trisiras forced them to fuse, its not stable, you haven't reached what was needed to be able to do this safely, you need to get them unfused soon before the instability tears you to pieces I only know this in theory so I cant tell you how to do that, you could force Trisiras to undo it but don't know if that's possible or if she is willing to do so with you dying in the process of forcing her out" Vergil said scratching his chin in deep thought.
Looking very sick still, and seemingly fighting off barfing, Leoben looked down at his Digimon partner Hopman, "I hate bullies and forcing a fusion seems like a very bully thing to do if it might kill their human partner, lets kick their ass" he said clenching his hand into a fist, Hopmon didn't speak just digivolved he head butted the fist and then digivolved into Justimon and fist bumped Leoben.
"I am feeling better I can take it on, don't let Justimon make look like a coward" Lopmon said, struggling but jumping from Mikuni's arms looking like they had gotten their second wind, and were ready to fight some more, She just nodded at her partner, a smirk crossing her face.
"This take the wind out of this bag" Lopmon said, as he and Mikuni were enveloped by spheres of light, and when the sphere dissipated Lopmon was now KazeLeporimon again.
Even though Starmon prefer pacifism but felt he had no choice but to fight he digivolve into SuperStarmon "Lets put this scoundrel behind bars" intertwining his fingers and cracking them like pianist getting ready to play a piano.
Juniko's digimon partner reverted back to her rookie foam Mikemon, who had fresh tears flowing down cheeks, some getting caught in her whiskers "Why do we have to hurt our friends to defeat this thing?" Mikemon said, now crying into her paws "Its not fare what if we accidentally kill them?"
"We have no choice, but do you think your friends want to stay a puppet being controlled by this monster, if you say yes than they were never your friends in the first place" Mikuni said, seemingly not actually to consider the cat digimon's feeling since it just intensified their crying, causing her to sigh walk up to her and slap the cat in the face hard.
"Why did you do that, that hurt?" Mikemon said, rubbing her cheek with her right paw, if it wasn't for her fur there would be a visible bruise forming on it, a throbbing red handprint there. She now had her claws out waiting to defend herself from another attack.
Ignoring complete the death glare she was now getting from Juniko, from striking her digimon partner, Mikuni now crouched down to closer to face level with Mikemon , "I don't want to kill our friends either, but Look how else are we going to save them, its not like we can politely ask for Trisiras to free them, she isn't going listen she is drunk on power, " she was now petting Mikemon, she had stopped crying as a reaction and was now purring instead
Takajin was now struggling to his feet again, he managed to get upright but could fall to his knees again "I need a temporary digimon partner, who can help me with this?" he said holding his digivice shakily "I am the leader of the DigiDestined you cant go into battle without me"
"We will Takajin. I understand now, thank you for making things clearer to me, lets save them" Mikemon said, nodding to everyone around her, before grasping the hand of Juniko, and both of them were enveloped in golden spheres, which combined into one, when it dissipated, all there was, standing there was Lilithmon, it was obvious that she wasn't the Great old one of life version, but still considerably more powerful than an average digimon pretty much like the level of a hybrid like Kitsumon or Kazemon, she leaned over and kissed Takajin "I'll save you and sisters digimon partner one way or another" she said, before her wings formed of vines and leaves spread from her back then she took flight, towards Trisiras, leaves shedding from her wings falling to those below healing the injured.
"This is a form of power, the world has not seen in quite some time, An ultimate that's just Awakened, and some day will reach her potential" Vergil said catching one of the leaves "She is beyond breathtaking the mother of life, she is dancing, she will be the Ultimate power reborn…someday"
"Oh Joy I get to humiliate Lilithmon, It's my greatest wish come true beyond my wildest dreams" Trisiras said, with spiteful venom pouring out with each word, she viewed as a chance of catharsis "This is giving me chills down my very spine. Her voice echoing for what sounded like forever, "I'll show you my worth and potential as Great old one of Chaos and darkness, or maybe the great old one of destruction instead?"
Takajin fought through the pain to make his way towards Vergil, he looked up at Lilithmon confused at what he was seeing "How is Juniko in that form, she has barely started training" he asked Vergil in between labored breathing.
"Don't asked me, she's your digimon partner" Vergil said, teasing Takajin, before turning to face him, "its the heart of Digivolution, its helping her, even with it being under control by Trisiras, its hovering in the sky above us, The great old ones they didn't create it they repurposed the thing, its true origin and name are unknown" he pointed into the sky, there was a barely visible orb in the sky, that looked like a star, and it was seemingly getting closer as they spoke about it. "Whose side will it be on once it arrives, right now is a mystery."
"Let's Do this!" Lilithmon shouted as she led the rest of the DigiDestined and their digimon partners capable of fighting in their attack on Trisiras.
Fulgoramon appeared out of nowhere, and Sorami ran up to the other DigiDestined, and before they could ask anything "My Digivice started working again, though I think its temporary I am here to help you, I believe in you all" she said, visibly looking like she was about to cry tears of joy. "to answer the question of how I got here, I was at the achieve, my digivice started glowing, when I picked it up, Impmon and I were enveloped in spheres like usual with digivolution, when those dissipated we were now over there, we just caught up with you" flickering with lightning her digimon partner joined the battle with Trisiras
"You humans are so silly, you have no chance against me, eat eclipse fingers," Trisiras said as something flies from GraceNovamon hands, like pinpoints of light, knocking its attackers away, most of them landed near their DigiDestined visibly damaged, but still getting back up, and launching themselves back in the air. They now surrounded Trisiras, taking turns hitting GraceNovamon with attacks, which caused more surges in pain in both Takajin and Hikaru, but they seemed to let the pain fuel them to stay on their feet, and not crumple to their knees again, it was painful even to watch, knowing this was slowly killing them physically and mentally since they couldn't do anything to help other than moral support.
"I believe in you all," said Sorami clutching her digivice, and pointing it into the air
"How Pathetic, this is all you DigiDestined can produce, I have barely broken a sweat, I am not even using full power," Trisiras said mockingly, her voice echoing louder than before, "ok I'm bored now, I am wiping the board now, Calydon Arcus" eight Meleagris blades now shot from GraceNovamon's back, and all the DigiDestined Digimon were now playing a deadly game of tag with destructive consequences, Slayerdramon was hit, and now was on the ground, back in rookie form as Babydimon, it struggling to get back to its feet and failing, Huang letting out a long scream of pain, he had felt the impact fully, next to go down was Leoben's digimon partner, and then Vergil's, this went on till only one not in rookie form was Lilithmon, and even she had been seriously hurt in the attack, Impmon stood but cradled what appeared to be a broken arm, it gritted its teeth looking up at GraceNovamon.
"Not fair that thing was supposed to be on our side, not helping the enemy," Impmon said, looking embarrassed by failing Sorami, they were trained as Guardians and shouldn't be failing in combat.
"Life is not fair, a lesson I learned arriving here, a lesson I am happy to teach you now as I defeat you all, unless you just want to surrender and make me a great old one instead," Trisiras said, as Meleagris blades returned to GraceNovamon's back ready to be fired once again.
"I rather die again than see you as one of its deities, you only care for yourself and not for the welfare of others, humanity would be harmed if you were a great old, you said by your admission you were going to recreate life in your image because you don't like me for what I did to you in the past," Lilithmon said, finally getting to her knees, wiping the dust off herself.
"What we have in store, all we want is more, we will break on through, Now it's time to show you the consequences… Calydon Arcus" Trisiras said, with a snarl in her tone, as the blades shot from GraceNovamon's back again and headed straight for Lilithmon all eight of them aiming at one target, they instead impacted something several feet away from her, When the smoke cleared standing there was Princess Mitsuko.
A spectral version of Trisiras appeared, on the ground near Princess, a crap-eating grin on her face, she was Astral projecting herself from GraceNovamon instead of coming down in person "The Prodigal parent killer has arrived, thought you were going to rot away in fetus position clinging to your brother's corpse your last loved one is probably stinking up that chamber right now?" she said, pretending to pat Mitsuko on the back. "Your Brother is dead, but didn't you say you wouldn't let anyone else die in your name, You have time to move out of my way, if you don't everyone you care about will start dropping like flies, and soon no one who acknowledges will exist, and that will be for you will be Solitude, Oh speak now oh Queen of Anarchy"
Suddenly something spun Mitsuko around and simultaneously slapped her in the face, it had been Juniko and Takajin, Takajin had spun her around, and Juniko had slapped her in the Face "This persecution complex ends now, repeat after me, your parents were an accident, I am already sick of you blaming yourself even though I barely know you, you have repeated your guilt ad nauseam stop it already" both Takajin and Juniko said this at the same without hesitation.
Takajin stopped forward "Look if you are like me, if anything happened to my sister Hikaru, if she died I would feel it, have you felt your brother's death?" Takajin asked, placing his hand briefly on Mitsuko's shoulder before quickly removing it.
"I know they were an accident and no I Haven't felt anything that says he died, so I know my brother is still alive and I am going to avenge you for hurting him," Mitsuko said, before being enveloped in a sphere, that glowed with a silver aura before dissipating, she was now bigger than she was before and had horns on her forehead, wings on her shoulders, and tail protruding behind her, and rock like scales down her neck and possibly down her back "Anarkimon!"
"Everyone has a mon name but me, maybe I should do the same?" Trisiras said, as GraceNovamon completely vanished, she now held a glowing sphere, before eating it "You Can now Call me Trisiramon, all bask in my glory, the heart of Digivolution is now mine."
Anarkimon was instantly in Trisiramon's face and grabbed and hurled them towards the ground, they stopped moments for impact and now hovered there instead, sped back towards Anarkimon ramming headfirst into their stomach, but were caught instead, and launched into the sky. Bug-like wings now spread from Trisiramon's back appeared to be covered in snake scales and dripping with a fluid that burned away anything it touched, it was like a beetle had been merged with a snake, Lilithmon rejoined the battle, before being face-planted into the ground by Trisiramon, the same thing happened to KazeLeporimon when it tried to get involved, ripping the rabbit out of his storm, but thrown into the stomach of a returning Fulgoramon, which knocked her out of the air.
"To have the Heart of Digivolution is to be strong I'll keep siphoning it, till no one can stop me NO ONE!" Trisiramon said clenching her hand into a fist as the Heart of Digivolution appeared overhead stopping several kilometers from the ground, its power felt by everyone there. "I'll be the Mon to rule them all"
Anarkimon turned back into Mitsuko, crawling over to Lilithmon, she was crying "I am so sorry this is all my fault I let this all happen, I have gotten all of you killed, and I don't know how to prevent it" she said, tearing up more as she spoke, she glitched back and forth between her human form and Digimon hybrid form.
"You know you are deluding yourself, your brother is dead, you now matter to no one, no one loves you, or will ever love you, fated to be alone forever... " Trisiramon said with a crap-eating grin on her face picking up Anarkimon, by the throat and began to squeeze. "I should just put you out of your misery…" she suddenly dropped her when her hand started glitching as Anarkimon had moments earlier.
"Liar!" a familiar voice screamed out of nowhere. It echoed all around, and versions of Mitsuko started appearing everywhere, they were all versions of her as a child, one of them being held by her mom when she was an infant. "I am here for you, I have watched you for so long, all I have seen shows me how wonderful you can be" Trisiramon glitched one more time, and Rashael appeared, taking her portion of hair color away from Trisiramon, before turning back into Gatomon and making a beeline towards Anarkimon "Your hand in my paw for all time. I will never let you hurt my princess, and for that reason, you are dusted buster!" she was now standing in between Anarkimon and Trisiramon. Gatomon turned back to Anarkimon, only to get a hand with a ball of energy in it aimed in her face.
"You betrayed me, you don't deserve my love, only your demise is what you get from me" Anarkimon said, as the Ball of energy grew in her Palm.
"Please, I am sorry I never wanted to hurt you, I only agreed to this as long as I never harmed a hair on your head," Gatomon said as she pleaded to Anarkimon. "When I close my eyes, You're all I see."
"Sweet words now don't erase the stuff you said before, might not have hurt me physically How can I ever forgive you, you filthy cat" Anarkimon said with pure venom with every bile she spat out with words. "I hate you, you rabid Beast, we will never be friends again, now say your last words"
"You are right I deserve this from what I said to you," Gatomon said closing her eyes. And a fresh stream of tears flowed down her right cheek like a mini river.
"I thought I ended up being the gullible one in this relationship…Come back to me, I can never stay mad at you I will always forgive you" Anarkimon said with the Ball of energy extinguishing in her hand "Why are you doing this for me, you are getting what always wanted to be complete again, as Trisiras?"
"It was More than anything I have ever wanted, I temporarily lost my way in getting it, but looking at you now, made me remember and realize suddenly I had stopped wanting that a long time ago when I first saw you as a newly born infant opening your eyes for the first, my eyes were opened too, Then the more you grew up, the more I grew to see you as the only thing worth fighting for, I was already complete again, because, in the end, you became part of who I am, I wish I hadn't forgotten this and stopped it before you were dragged into helping put all of this into motion, " Gatomon said jumping into the arms of Anarkimon and purred happily as she petted her. "it was a short separation but already missed this, now I'll Shelter and adore you like before more than anything"
Anarkimon walked over to the DigiDestined "I am sorry I dragged you into this I let my hate be twisted and aimed in the wrong direction, a part of me knew this but didn't want to listen to reason" she said trying not to tear up again.
"This isn't the right time for this, we can talk about this later when this is all over," Takajin said as he gestured for Anarkimon to hush "We have better things to talk about"
"If one part of Trisiramon has separated from the rest, why hasn't it retrograded to a lesser form instead of just hair color losing Rashael's streak?" Juniko asked looking over at the still-standing antagonist, whose glitching had finally stopped and looked completely pissed off now.
"She still has a part of me I couldn't get all of myself out, sadly that means when she is destroyed I crease to exist too I am sorry my kindred" Gatomon said, "Thia will be my final act of redemption, I want to fight alongside you"
Anarkimon now embraced Gatomon in a tight hug "Come back to me, stay in my arms. No matter how far, even if it's a million miles away, everything will lead us back together." They were in the air, a ring appeared on Gatomon's tail, they kept going tll they both vanished into the Heart of Digivolution for a few seconds then they appeared, all Anarkimon scales were now solid gold, and Gatomon was dancing at her feet "I am Now Anarkidramon" beams of energy shot from the heart of Digivolution—one for each DigiDestined, but also one went to Trisiramon too. Two extra sets of wings spread from Anarkidramon's back, all wings had golden scales too.
"This World be Damned, I am done trying to prove myself to anyone, especially even you, oh mother of lies, You people should be on your knees begging me to save you. I am the only one that possibly could have saved this world, but instead After things End I will take the heart and start over again creating my very own world with it, " Trisiramon said, her tone dripping with venom of hatred "You aren't the real heroes I am, for putting you out of your misery before your world rots and does it more painfully" her hair was now an ugly green, her skin had a green tinge, she now wore a dark red dress with a chest window that trailed down from the neckline and ended right before the belly, her voice had started to change into an older more mature register as she spoke, she then laughed evilly with malice."I am not afraid of that actually happen" Anarkidramon and Gatomon said in unison, as Digivolution spheres appeared around them as they both ascended into the sky, Trisirasmon growing in size as they did so too, her eye sclera turning black, pupil and iris turning a dark shade of ugly blood red. "Nega Mode"
"We are not scared of that actually happening" Anarkidramon and Gatomon said at the same time in unison.
"You Should be" Trisirasmon screamed with rage, radiating with sinister energy, getting ready to blast the pair out of the sky.
"Nothing can Stand against our might,I am not letting you win this one You Ugly green Monster!" Anarkidramon said again in unison with Gatomon, all the spheres started to dissipate.
Trisirasmon starts sending dark versions of attacks of Apolomon and Dianamon at Anarkidramon, which she redirected harmlessly away. But slightly burnt her hands with handling some of them, Trisiras frowned for a second"Now Watch your worlds End" She said changing the aim of her attack towards Juniko an evil smile returning to her face before unleashing a tremendous beam of dark energy, which is interrupted by one of the Spheres, which fully dissipated into revealing Apollomon, the rest of the spheres revealed the rest of the DigiDestined digimon all in their ultimate forms again, which also included Dianamon too.
"Save the World!" Apollomon yelled, powering up his fire but aiming it at Anarkidramon, same with the rest of the DigiDestined digimon, before Trisiramon could regroup and attempt another attack on Juniko they all fired their attacks shouting the name of each of their most powerful attacks, which hit and got absorbed by Anarkidramon's wings.
Anarkidramon started to glow brightly before shouting "Prodigious Anarchy Wave" her arms waving in the3 concentric circle before sending s huge crescent moon wave of energy towards Trisirasmon.
Trisiramon shouted "NOOOOOO, This is INCONSIEVABLE!" before she's sliced in half by the blade, and falls slowly fresh tears flowing from her eyes, before getting caught in the wake of the blast knocking her shrinking form into a tree, leaving an impression in it and a smear of blood. She turned back to her normal coloring minus Rashael's hair color among them. She was now reaching towards the heart of Digivolution like she was trying to get to it. As sparkling shards broke off from her and went towards it in her steed. Silhouettes forming around her some taking shape forming into Lilithmon, Erebosmon, and Lorrimon, the rest were unrecognizable and only weirdly shaped like people.
The DigiDestined gathered around Trisirasmon too "This could have been so avoided" Juniko said going to her knees at Trisiramon's side.
"I've search so long I couldn't remember how I lost my Home, Now darkness fades and can see memories of faces from my home, you are among them, You were like a mother to me, How could you have done this to me" Trisiramon said, looking at Juniko "All of us were family in Mon...fo..r" she didn't finish as her face sparkled away into the sky. "I was happiest when i felt i belonged" echoed as she was completely gone.
Everyone turned as Gatomon who stumbled forward, and turned into Rashael, she was sparkling away like Trisiramon too, but Mitsuko had caught her, after reverting to her human form from her hybrid version preventing Rashael from going to the ground as well. "Am I the one who did this to you?" She asked, holding the now disappearing girl in her arms.
"No this was my choice I didn't, I couldn't let a world where my kindred resides be destroyed I'll always be there inside your heart, my hand in yours for all time" Rashael seemingly fading away too, but that's when time seemed to stop, and someone shouted stop"
Lorrimon appeared standing over them gathering all the shards that had been Rashael and forming a ball with them that turned into a digiegg flecked with gold inlet, she handed it to Mitsuko "Its weird to let a hybrid have a digimon partner, but I will make an exception for love of this magnitude, take care of her now" she said as the egg hatched into a Plotmon directly, Mitsuko hugged it tightly, it licking her cheek as she did so, as the realm of thought started fading and finally depositing them all in the real world, when she looked up Lorrimon was gone and was replaced by Mina, and the DigiDestined were surrounded by the Satapia royal guard all of them aiming their weapons at their throats.
"what are waiting for kill them all you Fools" Mitsuko said, seemingly going back into Queen Anarchy version of herself and making a slitting throat gesture with her right hand, she watched with sinister glee as the royal guard was going to stab the DigiDestined "I mean let them go you dumbasses, they are now my friends"
"You are definitely rightfully named with the Digimon monikers of Anarkimon and Anarkidramon, being chaotic to the core" Juniko said, nervously laughing as the blades were moving away from her throat.
Mina ran up and hugs Mitsuko "We were told you were in trouble. Your highness, and these DigiDestined were going to kill you" She said, ceasing her hug to bow rapidly and nervously.
"By whom?" Mitsuko said, looking at all of her royal guard taking measure of each of them. "was it You Daisuke, Takeru, or Iori?" looking at specific soldiers.
"It wasn't any of us" said the soldier, Mitsuko looked at when she said Daisuke "It was your royal Guardian Gemini"
"He's Alive?" Mitsuko exclaimed looking around for him. Before spotting him, and a makeshift stretcher
"Yes he kept saying, save Queen, DigiDestined over and over, after we got to where Gatomon told us to go, we found him there, Mina tended to his injuries" TK said sounding concerned still.
"its like She said, we would find you here, a disembodied voice told us on our way back to the kingdom" Iori said nervously, looking at the ground avoiding Mitsuko's gaze.
Mitsuko ran passed her royal guard towards Gemini despite his protests. she tackle hugged nearly knocking the breath out of him "BROTHER!" she Exclaimed excitedly "I am so sorry Taichi, You got hurt badly defending me after I had been bad to you"
Gemini caught his breath "What did I say about calling me by that..." he said, before Mitsuko pot her hand on his mouth and nose without realizing what she was doing.
"I am not calling you by your Zodiac sign anymore, if you mention your wartime alias again I'll put you in the dungeon again, you are my brother, a member of the royal family, I am your sister and the queen I make the laws right now, you can make laws when you grow the balls to usurp me" she said not paying attention to her brother struggling to get his face away from her hand so he can breath again, he looked like he was nodding so she let of the grip on his face, then she hugged him again tighter than previously, which hurt a lot, and he used his training and discipline to not scream in agony, which was actually obvious from the look on his face but Mitsuko was oblivious being so relieve her brother was still alive, though she might kill him accidentally, his expression pretty much mirrored by the royal guard watching uncomfortably.
"I have a question for your highness, were you the one, who took down the storm barrier, it went down 5 minutes before you appeared" Mina asked, timidly gesturing at the sky, which was a tranquil blue spotted with white clouds.
"its so weird seeing the sky from the city like this, but very beautiful but yes I think I did this when we defeated Trisirasmon" Mitsuko sighed, remembering Trisirasmon last words, "Sadly it was probably not soon enough to save her, letting Lorrimon in" she ignored Mina's mouthing the word Lorrimon with her eyes widening, in surprise, she did notice in the distance two figures one both were girls one with pointed fox ears and the other fairy wings wearing weird shades, all the sound had faded from the world then she was aware the fire barrier had been taken down too.
"You See you did play your part" Kitsumon said, smiling and starting to vanish like the Cheshire cat taking Kazemon with her.
"I know" Mitsuko said, smiling to herself.
"You know what?" Mina asked, looking confused at her queen.
"That Everything will be OK from now on" Mitsuko said, not even looking at Mina.
"That's good to hear" Juniko said, chiming in on the conversation.
"Yeah, hopefully next time we come here you don't try to kill us, and we can have that tour you promised" Huang said, not noticing Mitsuko's face reddening.
"You are all welcome to Satapia, some of you more than others, if you answer a specific question I asked before" Mitsuko said, looking at Huang as he was now reddening in the face too.
"I dont think I have actually forgiven you or ever will, but if you turn to the dark side again I will be there to take you down" Mikuni said, with her usually unreadable expression on her face, not knowing if she is kidding or not, but most likely was being completely serious.
"despite Mikuni's Candor, I hope our friendship can develop into a partnership that brings all kingdoms together" Juniko said, offering her hand to shake Mitsuko's, and she hesitated then grabbed and heartily shook it.
"Your Parents are still alive!" Plotmon said, looking down at the ground. "When I was whole with Trisirasmon I saw what they did, they teleported them away right as you lashed out at them, hoping to use them later as leverage to make you do what they wanted, I dont know where they are currently, but I know they are thinking about you, and waiting for you to find them"
A smile spread across Mitsuko's face and she looked off in a random direction, vowing to find her parents where ever they are90.
