A/N: Been a while since I've been writing. Benn busy playing a certain Gacha Game...which I will explain in this chapter. And this is going to be canon.

Caboose's New Favourite Game

Premise: Yeah, since Miss Angry Mexican Pirate is always...angry, she decides to allow me a laptop! Though, she seemed to be angry since I spent Miss Carlos's Credit Card. Which isn't my fault since that game is addictive.

Charlie's sane girlfriend, Vaggie, was in Caboose's Room in the Hotel because she wanted to inform him about an idea she had, which is for good reason. Needless to say, he was left confused. "Um, Miss Angry Mexican Pirate, what do you mean in keeping me occupied?"

Vaggie had her remaining eye twitched at that name but thought to leave he. She cleared her throat to calm herself. "As I was saying Caboose, you need to keep yourself occupied. You cannot simply run around the until and speak to everyone daily. It's tiresome and we don't have enough space for such luxury and you cannot be on your phone all the time."

"That's understandable." The blue idiot commented even though he didn't understand the context.

The Hotel's Manger shook her head. "Never mind about that. I had a talk with Charlie and she decided..." She proceeded to bring out a rectangular box towards him. "To gift you a laptop as a way to occupy yourself."

Caboose was taken off guard by this. "Oh..." He got the box off from her and saw a freshly made laptop coated in blue and Olive. "Thanks I guess."

Now that the first part is over, she decide to give him a credit card. "And also, Charlie wanted me to give you a credit card since, which I can't believe what I am about to say, contains your money which you somehow made off from the Overlord, Carmilla. And also how Charlie gave you an allowance."

Again, the blue idiot got the card off from her. "Okay. I understand."

With the items given, Vaggie thought it would be good to leave the newest Hotel member. "Well, I'll get going then." As she was about to open the door, the one-eyed woman glanced at him to give her a warning. "By the way, whatever you're about to do, DON'T spend over a thousand on a game. Charlie wouldn't like that."

"OKAY!" Caboose nodded in understanding before Vaggie left the room. As he was left alone, he decided to set up his laptop with the help of Freckles. Once he did such a thing, he decided to set up his profile and skimming through the internet.

Hours went by and idiot was already interested in it even though the one back in base had a lot of content. Naturally, Caboose was getting bored. "There's nothing to entertain me, Freckles! I guess I'll call it a day."

"WHAT'S THAT?" Freckles asked his companion.

Caboose looked to where his pet was looking at and saw a link that says 'Honkai: Star Rail'. This, of course, grabbed his attention. "Oh. This reads 'Homai: Starn Trale'. This is interesting."

"IT'S PRONOUNCED HONKAI STAR RAIL'." His pet corrected.

"Oh, that too." Caboose added as he was suddenly caught by this game. "I guess it won't be hurtful in playing the game right?"

-The Next Morning-

Niffty was sweeping the floors in the early hours of the day to keep the place neat and tidy. It was at this time that she saw Caboose entering the room, which makes her drop her broom and run towards Caboose. "Good mornin', Caboose!"

The blue idiot looked down at her. "Ah, good morning to you too, Niffty! How's your morning been!"

"You know, the usual," The neat freak responded. "How about yours?"

Caboose looked at her. "Me? Oh, I was up all night playing this game that is really addictive!"

Niffty was interested by his words. "What game."

"Well..." Caboose was about to say.

"CABOOSE!" Vaggie's voice echoed throughout the hotel room. Both he and the small cyclops-like demon turn to see Vaggie standing in the top viewing of the lobby and was glaring angrily at the idiot. "Charlie got a text on how exactly $15,000 was instantly gone in your bank account and I know you have something to do with it! So, spill it!?"

This causes the idiot to gulp as he look at her. "Uh, w-well you see Miss Angry Mexican Pirate, I gotten myself addicted into a game called Honkai: Star Rail. And let me tell you, it's really addictive."

Preview: And I am forbidden to spend money until I make up for it. I shouldn't be worry about it, my other part-time job pays well. Let's see what Bing is doing?

This chapter is basically me confessing the fact that I have become addicted to this Gacha Game Honkai: Star Rail. I haven't spent any money yet and I have gotten invested in its narrative. And pretty much, I may be addicted to Genshin Impact at some point. So, expect to see chapters getting published less.
