The mood and chatting in the apartment had made a complete 180 change. The ladies were happily chatting, planning shopping trips. Cas was a quiet bystander, just listening to the chatter.

"Are they going to go shopping for clothes or...knives?" Dean asked with a laugh.

Sam laughed himself. "Probably both."

"Nice." He shook his head in amusement.

Sam smiled, finding himself oddly comfortable with the situation. His sister talking with friends, while he was chatting with his big brother. "You and Cas are probably gonna head off soon, huh?"

Dean's smile faltered a bit. "Yeah... I'm sure Bobby is pacing by now... We left in a bit of a rush."

"I bet." Sam turned to his brother, still smiling. "How's Bobby doing?"

"Ah, you know Bobby. Just...chilling. Lounging on his porch. Drinking a beer. Oh, he has hooked back up with his wife. Rough going there for a bit, but I think those crazy kids might just work things out."

"That's great! You catch up with anyone else?"

"Yeah...yeah. Saw Ellen and Jo. They're good. Ellen was a bit pissed to see me, but...ya know. And Ash, of course."

"Bet he's mad he doesn't get to sneak around anymore."

"Yeah. But we are figuring other places to sneak into, so..." He threw his brother a smirk and a wink.

Sam just shook his head. "Mom and dad..."

Dean hesitated. "Yeah, they're good. They're good." He paused a moment. "It's...still...I don't know. It's weird, ya know. Being around them after...everything. But...it's good."

Sam nodded, knowingly. "That's good. I'm glad you get to see them." At Dean's questioning look. "Really. I am." He paused now, hesitating. "You gonna tell them... About Millie?"

"Well...Jack visits Mom every now and again, so..."

Another laugh. "Yeah, probably better you tell them first."

"Yeah..."

They stood and watched the group laughing and chatting for a bit before Dean spoke up again. "It's your turn now, Sammy."

It was Sam's turn for a questioning look.

"You're the big brother now." Dean nodded towards Millie.

"Well...good thing I had a great example." Sam smirked at his big brother. "Although, I am kind of bummed on missing out on a lot of the fun stuff of the younger years..."

Dean just laughed.

Cas motioned towards him before announcing out loud to the group that they really should be heading back. Farewells were passed around, hugs and kisses.

Dean turned to Sam and Millie. "Alright. This is it. I don't want to see either one of you for many, many, MANY years! Old and grey! I mean it." He pointed at both of them, sternly.

"Yeah, yeah. We're planning on it." Sam watched as Dean gave Millie a tight hug, then got his own. "Love ya Dean."

"Love ya too Sammy," Dean quietly returned as he let go. They gave each other one last knowing nod before he turned to stand next to Cas.

"See ya round," Sam said with a wave at the two of them.

Cas gave an awkward wave and put his hand on Dean's shoulder.

"Oh, and take the Impala out of the damn garage already!"

Sam turned back to contradict his brother's shout, but they had disappeared. He turned to Millie with an accusatory glare.

"Hey, don't look at me! I didn't say anything." She raised her hands in protest.

He just laughed.
