AN: Cause why the hell not another on the same day.

[POV: The 'Chosen One']

It's been a hard few months for Rose, starting with the revelation that she wasn't an only child but actually had a long lost twin out there in the muggle world. She remembered being confused as to why she had never known about this, but Dad just told her that there were reasons it wasn't safe to have Harry around when they were young, but now that they were going to Hogwarts it should have been fine. When Mum left to go pick him up, she was over the moon about finally having someone to talk to, to fill a void she didn't even know she had but was suddenly all too aware of. Despite her fame and fortune, she never actually interacted with others her age outside the rare ceremony or party her parents had her attend. Other than that, her main source of social interactions came from her Parents, Uncles, and younger cousins. Sure, little Arty and Cass were nice to play with, but they were younger than her and not ones she could confide in completely, not like she could a twin.

Which was why when Mum came home alone with a devastated look on her face she knew something had gone horribly wrong. Hearing that her twin had rejected their family had made her heart ache. When she questioned why her brother didn't come home to them Mum would just stay silent and look pained, so she stopped asking and resolved to wait till they finally met. She wasn't the only one to feel the sorrowful mood though as Dad seemed to withdraw himself into his work and come home later and later, while Mum would just stare sometimes with looks of regret. It only got slightly better when they went to Diagon and she finally got her wand, but she still felt lost.

The day finally came though when she would meet her brother, confront him about why he was causing her family so much pain, and see what it would take to make it all right. She honestly couldn't remember most of the morning, so focused on her self-appointed task of fixing her family. When she finally found him on the Express, she couldn't help but stare through the compartment door window. He was taller than expected, looking like a younger version of Dad with Mum's green eyes. He just sat there with a bored look on his face reading one of the coursebooks, uncaring of all the hurt they were all in. Taking a deep breath to help keep her growing anger under control she made her way into the compartment.

To say that she felt horrible after her brother finished explaining himself would be an understatement. So full of guilt at herself for thinking so horribly of him and never once considering his feelings this whole time, angry at her parents for abandoning him and confusion as to why nobody helped him before all this.

To hear that he didn't blame her was such a huge relief that she couldn't hold back the tears, and when he offered to help her with her trunk, she realized what he was doing, offering her the chance to stay. She was also impressed that despite being muggle raised he was already capable of casting spells. It only made her guilt and embarrassment worse when she realized that she never actually introduced herself, hearing her mother reprimanding her in her mind for her horrible manners.

Taking his hand, she was surprised at how nice it felt, and didn't realize she was keeping hold of it till he casually pointed it out to her. She could swear that she never moved faster in her life than when she all but teleported to the far seat, doing her best to stare a hole in her hand and figure out why she did that.

Her focus was disrupted by the door opening and a red-headed boy their age stepped in.

[POV: Totally not a Secret Multidimensional Slaver]

The thing I felt when I saw the dumbass of the Golden Trio was pity. The red fool wasn't aware of just how miserable I would be making him for my own amusement. But that was no reason to antagonize the guy who, despite all his many, many flaws, still had his uses. Letting him attempt to befriend Rose was a risk but if he's anything like Canon Ron then it wouldn't take long for him to fuck it up and me to take advantage of it. That didn't mean I needed to befriend the guy myself, but it would always pay off to have an easy alibi and scapegoat for whenever I needed one.

Turning to look at my sister, I saw her looking at me and nodded at her, giving the decision to her. She seemed to understand what I meant because she turned to Ron.

"Thats fine, there is plenty of room." she told him. He seemed to sigh in relief and put his trunk up before making his way to the seat next to me, taking a moment to stare at my sister before looking away when she noticed him.

"Hey, Ron." a voice spoke from the doorway, attracting my attention, and filling me with immediate confusion.

There, instead of two twin boys I was met with a pair of mischievous grins attached to a pair of attractive Female faces. The Weasley Twins were gender bent it seems.

"Listen, we're going down the middle of the train Lee Jor-dan's got a giant tarantula down there." The one I mentally dubbed Righty said.

"Right." Ron sighed, looking a bit paler than a moment before.

"Anyway, we'll leave you to your new friends. See you later, then." The newly named Lefty told him before shutting the door behind her.

Ron's attention then zeroed in on my sister, and immediately blurted the question that was on his mind.

"Are you Rose Potter?" he asked staring straight at where her hair covered her scar. I felt the urge to smack him rising. Rose didn't bother replying aloud, simply giving him a nod.

"I hoped as much. So do you really have the you know ..." he pointed at her forehead. She merely moved the lock of hair covering her forehead aside, showing the lightning bolt on her forehead.

"Wicked, so that's where You-Know-Who " He was suddenly cut off,

"Yes, but I don't remember it."

Seems that she was starting to get annoyed at him but was still trying to be civil.

"Nothing?" he said leaning in, obviously not taking the hint.

"Okay, " I say butting in, turning both of their attention onto me. I was starting to remember why he was disliked by most of the fans.

"Look, it's clear that she's uncomfortable with all this so why don't you back off a bit, you haven't even introduced yourself."

Instead of looking chastised he only seemed to be offended at me calling him out.

"Ron Weasley, and who are you supposed to be." He says standing out of his seat to loom over me.

Taking a moment to look at Rose who seemed upset at the redhead, I immediately trashed all plans of making nice with the idiot.

"I'm Harry Potter, brother of the girl you're upsetting. So kindly calm down and get back in your seat or get out."

He seemed surprised and turned to look at Rose who nodded before turning to look at me. He quickly got back into his seat and mumbled a quiet apology.

Rolling my eyes, I picked up my book and went back to reading, allowing the other two to make some small talk with me throwing in the occasional comment. At some point he must have brought out Pettigrew as when I looked over to check on them sometime later there was a fat Rat snoring away on Ron's lap. Sometime past noon the trolley lady came by and instead of buying the whole cart rose only picked out a few chocolate frogs and a bag of every flavor beans.

"Hey Harry, you never got to try wizarding candy have you" she asked innocently.

A quick no got her to gain a mischievous smile and quickly offer up her bag of beans.

"Well here, you can share some of mine."

It was obvious what she was attempting, and it didn't help that Ron looked like he was trying to suppress a chuckle. Rolling my eyes, I picked a white one up and had to hold back a grimace as the taste entered my mouth. Why in all of creation did it taste like dirty socks, and more importantly why did I immediately know what it was.

"Yum, taste like marshmallows."

She seemed disappointed but didn't try to push her luck. Mentally I swore to pay her back. It wasn't long after that a knock on the door grabbed all our attention.
