AN: Something, Something Important. Something, Something Funny. Will be following this chapter with The Mission since I doubt people clicked the link i put in the build.

The door to the Compartment opened and in came the last possible Child of Prophecy.

He wasn't much to look at, and it was obvious that he was nervous about something.

"S-sorry, but have any of you seen a toad around, I've lost mine."

When the other two shake their heads, I speak up.

"Can't say that I have, but maybe if you ask one of the older students patrolling the train, they might be able to help you find it."

He perks up a bit at that, seeming to become a little less miserable than he was a moment before.

"Yeah, they might be able to help. Sorry for the intrusion and thank you for the help." he tells me before leaving to presumably find one of the prefects.

"Don't know why he's so bothered by it. If I brought a toad, I'd lose it as soon as possible, though considering I brought a rat I can't really talk can I." Ron speaks up, before looking down at the still slumbering grown man on his lap.

" Could have died and you wouldn't know the difference. I tried a spell yesterday to turn him yellow, make him more interesting, you know? The spell didn't really work though, here I'll show you."

A second later he gets up and starts to rummage thought his trunk before pulling out something that could hardly be called a wand. The description in the books was kind compared to how damaged the thing actually was.

He muttered something under his breath and raised it, about to make an embarrassment of himself when the door opened again and in came who could only be Hermione, already in the school uniform.

"Excuse me, but have any of you seen a toad, a boy named Neville lost one."

Before I could answer Ron spoke up, "We've already told him that we haven't seen it."

He barely finished speaking before she was suddenly in front of him staring at his wand having obviously ignored what he said.

"Oh, are you doing magic? Well, let's see it then." she told him sitting next to him.

"Er, alright then."

Clearing his throat, he chanted his 'spell'

"Sunshine, Daisies, Butter Mellow,
Turn this Stupid Fat Rat Yellow."

I could only stare. It was honestly more embarrassing seeing this in person, especially as Ron wasn't eleven and shouldn't be that gullible.

" Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not a very good one, is it? I've tried a few of the simpler spells myself, and they all worked for me. Nobody in my family is magical you see, so it was all a very big shock when the letter arrived, but i was ever so pleased, I mean, of course I was. It's the most prestigious school of Witchcraft from what I managed to research, and I've already managed to memorize all of our school textbooks by heart, of course, I just hope it will be enough I'm Hermione Jean Ganger, by the way, who are all of you?"

The speed at which she said that and the fact she didn't stop to take a breath surprised me. The other two were the same.

"Ron Weasley,"

"Rose Potter"

"H "

"Are you really," Hermine asked, cutting me off. "I know all about you of course, I got a few extra books for background reading, and you are in Modern Magical History and The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts and Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century and Most Famous Wizards Today along with your Father, though he was more of an add on to yours."

That last part was a surprise to me, making me realize for the first time I didn't truly know anything about my family. A quick look at Rose though showed that she seemed uncomfortable.

"Sorry, what's all this about my sister being in all sorts of books, Harry Potter by the way." I speak up, both to turn her attention from Rose and to introduce myself.

"A brother? None of the books I read mentioned anything about Rose Potter having a brother, some explicitly stating that she was an only child." she said confused

"Yes, well I lived away from the rest of my family for a number of years so it's possible that most never realized that I existed, I'm sure that once news of me gets out they will update the books."

Hermione looked honestly annoyed at the idea that the books she read were wrong, turning to look at Rose for confirmation. Seeing the small nod my sister gave she turned back to me.

"Oh, I hope that they do, it's a shame when you can't trust what you're reading. Do you know what Hogwarts House you'll be in? I've asked around and it seems that Ravenclaw would be the best house for me, though personally I wouldn't mind being sent to Gryffindor as it is apparently the House that Dumbledore himself went to ... Well, I better go continue to look for Neville's toad, and it might be best for you all to change, I expect that we will be there soon."

She got up but before she managed to leave, I spoke up.

"I don't think that's necessary. Before you came Neville had already arrived and I suggested that he go and find one of the older students to help him. I expect that he will find his toad soon. Why don't you stay a bit a bit?"

She stops and thinks about my offer before sitting back in her seat. Ron looks annoyed at me that i got Hermione to stay while Rose looks unsure.

"Now, to answer your question I'm not actually sure what house I'll be in, what about you two?"

Ron goes to answer first, "Gryffindor for me, my whole family has been for generations. I don't know what my parents will say if I'm not, though Ravenclaw might not be all that bad, but imagine if they put me in Hufflepuff, or worse, Slytherin." He all but hissed the last name, his dislike of the House plain for all of us to see.

"Probably Gryffindor for me as well, it's what's expected of me after all." my sister mumbles, though she didn't seem too enthused by the idea. Something to keep note of for later.

I turn to Ron.

"How many siblings do you have, I believe I saw a few when we were boarding?" I ask

"Six in total other than me." He said, putting his wand down and started counting on his fingers.

"There's my oldest brother Bill, who is doing some work for Gringotts in Africa, did you hear about Gringotts? Someone tried to rob a high security vault. It's been all over the prophet due to them not having caught the ones who did it. Anyway, where was I, oh yeah. After Bill comes Charlie who is in Romania studying Dragons of all things. Then comes Percy who is a Fifth year and ever since he made prefect, he's been more stuck up than usual. The Twins, Fredrica and Georgia, you've already met are Third Years and are well known pranksters so I would be careful around them if I were you. then you have me followed by my younger Sister Ginny who will be joining us next year"

He seemed proud of his family if a little embarrassed.

"Did you say that one of your brothers is studying dragons, oh I wonder what they are like. I've read up on them a bit in Magical Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander but I'm sure that it's nothing compared to seeing them in person. Is it really that big a deal that someone managed to break into the Bank, surely it can't be that impressive." Hermione couldn't seem to hold her questions any longer. "And prefect, that's very impressive, your family must be proud of your brother for achieving that."

She seemed to be ready to keep going when once again someone entered the compartment. Standing at the entrance was Neville, Toad and all, looking much better than he was earlier.

"Oh, Hermine, you're here too. Well, I just came to tell you that I managed to find Trevor here thanks to one of the prefects, so thank you for your suggestion oh, I never got your names did I." His embarrassment was clear to see. "I'm Neville by the way, Neville Longbottom."

"Harry Potter, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Neville, and I'm glad that you found your toad. Do you want to sit with us, there's still some room."

The look of shock was amusing, he sat down between me and Ron, and he gave me his full attention. "Potter, the same as Rose Potter?"

I simply pointed at my sister who once again confirmed I was telling the truth. He was going to say more when the door, once again, opened and I was, also once again, surprised by who stood there.
