AN: Huh. Just found out that apparently Voldemort may have been speaking to Harry since his first day at Hogwarts, telling him things in his dreams. The more you know...

There was nothing of notice that happened for the rest of the night, if you discount all the looks I was receiving. We made our way through the castle with Penelope explaining the best way to reach the common room from various parts of the castle and landmarks along the way to use in case we got lost. When we finally reached the dorms most of my year mates were ready to fall asleep then and there, Penelope quickly explained the whole riddle thing and we made our way into the common room. The room itself was a sight to behold, with a large fireplace across from the entrance with two flights of stairs winding up on either side. Along the walls were shelves full of books along with desks meant for studying. There were also a few paintings holding slumbering portraits of famous scholars and the like scattered around the room. Armchairs and sofas also littered the floor allowing for multiple places to rest during one's free time if they desired. An advantage that Ravenclaw had over Gryffindor, as fandom had declared, was that Ravens got their own private rooms. And due to the fact that space enlargement charms existed they were not small ones either. What should have barely been considered a closet was actually a spacious if bare room ready to be filled with personal belongings for the duration of the students' stay.

Due to Harrys upbring and my arrival the day before he left, I never had the chance to go out and shop, meaning that all I had was the bare minimum supplies that the school required and a weeks' worth of worn clothes a size too large. I resolved that after I received my first paycheck from the company I would go out and shop for some decent supplies at the first opportunity. A quick look to the corner of my vision let me know the time and I proceeded to pull out the few books I had and finish going through them before the night was out. Despite having Tom's skills, it was only T4, which is the equivalent of an average O.W.L. student, meaning that while skilled for my age I still had much work to do before I was ready to take on some of the bigger threats in this series. Memorizing these books will help my understanding which will in turn increase the speed that I can master and improve the Abilities that I have. I was sure that by the end of the year I could pass T5 with only moderate effort, though getting to T6 was going to take significantly longer.

Pushing those thoughts to the side for now, I resumed my reading for the night.

This castle is insane, there was no other way to say it. It came as a bit of a surprise to learn that classes didn't start until the following Monday, mainly to allow new students to learn their way around as well as allow some of the older students' time to complete any assignments they didn't due over the break using the Hogwarts Library. We were each given a copy of our class schedule the morning after our arrival, which included directions to each class from the Great Hall on the back.

SUNDAY
Free Day

It was an incredibly light schedule, one that I planned to take full advantage of

Now for anyone who's read the books they might vaguely remember a small section where harry describes his first week and the quirks that are in the castle. He was underplaying how crazy the place was. Yes there are moving staircases and doors that required certain conditions to be met in order to unlock, but there were also corridors that disappeared during different days of the week, rooms that changed what was inside based on the time of day, a hall where you walked on the ceiling instead of the floor, ladders that led both nowhere and yet anywhere in the castle depending on which order you climb them. And don't get me started on the windows that look like they lead into different realms, the animate statues that constantly move when no one is watching, the temporal displacement spots (or TDS as the others call them) that can hasten the passing of time while you stay in them by 10x, making a simple minute inside take ten outside. This place was a madhouse of never-before-seen proportions, and I loved every fucking second of it. That's not to say that all I did that week was explore the castle.

Most of the week I spent with Rose, as she was incredibly pale, and seemed exhausted most days despite getting decent. Any attempt I made to figure out what was wrong was diverted into other topics. Some things I learned from her was that in Slytherin they Partner up for dorms, and she ended up with Lillian Moon, the goth looking chick. She too was a Half-Blood and didn't immediately hate my sister so the two became fast friends. Another thing I learned was what exactly my parents did for a living. Lily was a Magical Researcher, exploring old spells and enchantments in order to figure out ways to rework and improve them. It's about what I expected from her, but hearing about James threw me for a loop. Apparently, he wasn't a badass Auror, but rather he seemed to have become something like Ludo Bagman. After the wars end, he used the new fame to get onto the British National Quidditch Team, proving to be a valuable player and even managing to help them win the World Cup in 1984, gaining worldwide fame. He retired from the sport in 1989 and has taken over as Head of Magical Game and Sports, the same position that Bagman had. It was interesting to note though that both Sirius and Remus were part of Rose's life, with Sirius being some sort of Hit Wizard and Remus owning a small bar in Morgul's Spite, a wizarding village meant for the low-class and impoverished.

I wasn't alone with her though as we were joined by Lillian, Daphne, Tracy, and Hermione on occasion. The first was obviously there because of her budding friendship with Rose, but the next two were a bit more difficult to figure out. Well Daphne was, as it seems that Tracy was still her best friend in this world and was mainly there for her. Daphne though, despite having better ways to spend her time, used it to keep me company. I was of course confused before remembering something about her family that may have been the cause. If I remember correctly, her sister, Astoria, was suffering from a blood-curse that was slowly killing her. My guess is that due to Hermione telling everyone I have some skill on healing she is trying to get close to me to attempt to help her. Not the worst thought out plan, and if that is the case it will make capturing her and her sister a piece of cake considering that I could easily heal her capturing her.

Hermione though was a problem. Over the course of that week, she approached me dozens of times, demanding answers and explanations for my knowledge of healing. She managed to antagonize Rose by constantly harassing us when we were together and annoy the others by butting into conversations or activities without a care. I never answered her of course, usually giving non-answers or making excuses and booking it. She was persistent though, and I feel like I was only fueling her desire by being stubborn about it. She did seem to find a friend in Lisa Turpin though, which was a minor surprise.

Another problem that cropped up was the redheaded menace. Now I had nothing against Ron personally, I was even willing to befriend him (mainly to use him) but my patience for him evaporated when he confronted Rose and me outside the Great Hall Wednesday morning before breakfast. He started going off on us for lying to him about being a Gryffindor and being a dark wizard in training, Rose for her part, despite not having been close to the boy, was visibly affected by his words. I was about to shut him up myself when someone beat me to the punch. In the middle of him saying something about how she was disappointing her parents Lillian strode right up to him and knocked him out with a single punch to the dome. As there had been a large crowd watching the spectacle there were enough people vouching for her that she was only given a warning as someone took Ron to the infirmary. He kept his distance from then on but still shot us the occasional glare. It was helpful training when I simply stared right back, allowing me to utilize a skill I got from Tom on an easy target.

Rose was in a sorry state after the events though, practically glued to my side for the rest of the day, which made it incredibly simple to utilize one of my two lures, [Sticky Fingers], to good use and make every touch of mine bring her pleasure. By Friday she was practically inseparable, always having some part touching me, holding me, or simply being next to me. I had a feeling that completing her capture wasn't going to be very difficult. A downside to this though was that some of my plans for the week were put on hold as I couldn't really sneak off and do some sneaky business without her raising a fuss.

The only other thing that I noticed was that Pansy Parkinson was constantly staring at me whenever we were in the same room together. I didn't bother attempting to read her mind as I was still learning and I wasn't sure if she had any training in defending her mind due to her upbringing. Danica for her part spent most of her time glaring and sneering at my sister. I wasn't sure how they interacted when in the Slytherin Dorms, but I felt that there was going to be blood before the end of the month.

Our group did receive a surprise visit that Saturday though, as we were approached by the Weasley Twins. They came to apologize for their brother and asked that we don't hold his stupidity against him. While Rose wasn't willing to let it go, I managed to convince her that it was for the best and managed to get into the good graces of the two mischievous redheads. It also probably helped that I was able to correctly tell them apart thanks to a few of my cheats.

But the week soon ended, and I officially attended my first Class of the year, Defense Against the Dark Arts, with the current Dark Lord as my teacher.
