AN: So, the Poll is over, Healers have won (No surprise there) and next comes deciding what type of healer. The next poll will soon be up so look forward to that. Also, I just found out that these drafts are not saved unless they have a title. I had to rewrite this chapter from scratch.
We spent the night in the Room, completely enjoying the pleasure of coming together. Rose for her part was completely insatiable, her natural libido having been kicked into overdrive due to the binding. We went at it for hours, before we managed to stop, completely exhausted. After that, we just cuddled on her bed of space dust and talked.
She told me that of her life with the Potters, how they kept her locked up within her home, never allowing her to leave and experience life until she turned thirteen, when she first met her cousins. She told me of them, Cassiopia Black and Artemis Lupin, the daughters of the remaining Marauders that are two years younger than us. Even when she was allowed outside, she was kept isolated away from people due to her fame and the danger she would be in.
I in turn told her of Harry's life at the Dursleys. How he was treated like a slave for them, made to sleep in a cupboard until he outgrew it. How the older he got the more physical the Dursleys became, forcing Harry to learn basic first aid in order to take care of any wounds. How the only thing keeping Harry going when he was alone, bruised and beaten, was the hope that once he became 18, he would finally be allowed to leave their home, make his own way on the world far away from them.
The entire time I spent telling her this she was still, her breathing faint and body tense. When I finished, she was shaking in rage, looking like she was about to storm out of Hogwarts and murder them right then and there. I simply held her close, whispering in her ear and telling her that I already had a plan for them. That managed to calm her down some, but she stayed shaking until we managed to go to sleep.
In the morning I managed to put to use one of my abilities that I had yet to try. Using the Room to summon a kitchen and supplies straight from the Hogwarts Kitchen, I managed to utilize [Faerie Feast] to create the best breakfast I have ever had. Nothing in either of my lives has ever compared to what I had made, and I think Rose agreed when she finally tried it after getting up. Even on a low setting the food was enough to make her beg me to cook for her from now on, then cause her to nearly cry when I told her that I couldn't. At least, not until I managed to get [Pocket Apartment] and [All Roads Lead to Home] so we had a private home to ourselves.
We finally managed to leave the room around lunch, after I made sure to thoroughly satisfy her before we left. We made our way to the Great Hall to grab some lunch, and then I planned to show her the other secret place that was accessible to only the two of us, as well as introduce her to my pet.
Sadly though, it appears that we caused some worry when we left in the middle of a meeting and were unable to be found for almost an entire day. Our entrance to the Great Hall caused some of the students to whisper, as the last the majority saw was us rushing out after my sister broke down. It was annoying, having all these stares being directed at us, but I bore through it as we separated to go sit at our respective tables and assure our friends (Just Lilian in Rose's case) that we were fine.
Not long after though, as I was in the middle telling Isobel about my time in the Hospital Wing, my Head of House came over and informed me that the Headmaster would like a word concerning mine and Rose's abrupt absence from the meeting yesterday. Luckily, when I asked Flitwick informed me that the Potter's had left yesterday and were not expected back. I made my way once again to the Headmasters Tower, with an annoyed Rose and Snape joining us on the way.
Once we arrived, Flitwick spoke the password to the Stone Gargoyle (It was Peanut Butter M&Ms) we were led in and met with the sight of an exhausted Dumbledore. Once we had taken the seats in front of his desk he spoke.
"Harry, Rose. I would like to know what compelled you to leave during the meeting with your parents. Due to your situation Rose, they were most worried about you and wished that they had the chance to properly speak with you. As for you Harry, I believed they also sought to have some words with you in private."
I could see Rose looking at me to lead, planning on following my lead with however I played this. So, I just decided to be truthful, or at least partially.
"I couldn't stand to be in the same room as them any longer. They abandoned me headmaster, something that you yourself admitted to facilitating. They left me alone without a thought of my wellbeing, and I suffered for it. So, when I saw the opportunity to leave before I did something that I would regret, well I took it. Rose just followed me out to help calm me down."
I could see his grimace when I mentioned his part in my pain, as well as the sadness with my anger towards the Potters.
"That's right headmaster. After mum started yelling at you, I could see that Harry was getting angry and we decided to leave before being noticed. I apologize for any inconvenience we caused, but neither of us had the desire to stay in the same room as them for a second longer."
Despite the polite way she was speaking, I could almost feel the anger she was holding towards our parents. The loathing in her voice when she said that was surprisingly high, though considering what I told her last night I shouldn't be too surprised. Dumbledore caught it too, if the look of disappointment he had was any indication.
"I cannot fault you for your feelings, neither of you as much as it pains me. The mistakes we made have hurt both of you, and I would not cause more harm by forcing you into a situation that would be detrimental to you."
The meeting was over not long after, with Rose being told that she would have weekly checkups for the rest of the next two months, and that Madam Pomfrey would be willing to accept me as a student to learn healing if I so choose. After that me and Rose parted ways, with her going to visit Poppy for a final checkup and clean bill of health to resume classes the next day, while I went to prepare for the meeting between my two captures.
