Chapter One: The Old Gods
Throughout history, there have been many great writers. People who have created stories that have lasted forever. These writers have acted similarly to gods. There was once a civilization that housed thousands of these people. This civilization was known as Fanficville. Fanficville was a small island located near the center of the Atlantic Ocean. The residents of this land wrote some truly genius stories. The longest story ever told came from this civilization. It was a work of fan-fiction based upon a TV series that archeologists have dubbed The Loud House. Many great minds were at work in Fanficville, but something devastating would change all of that. No one knows what exactly happened. Some have theorized that a hurricane took the small island out. Others believe aliens had a role in the civilizations demise. No one knows what happened, but something caused the residents of Fanficvile to go extinct. All of the residents of this small island were gone, but many of the stories remained. They had managed to survive whatever had happened to the island. Historians have made great efforts to preserve and collect the stories that came from Fanficville. I am one of those historians. My name is Fakesphere and I am a collector of stories from Fanficville. I have many stories in my possession. I would like to tell you one of them. Sit back, relax, grab a snack. Actually, I would advise you to go to your nearest grocery store and buy one month's worth of food, because this story is quite long. Allow me to tell you a truly fascinating story about a tyrant who believed himself to better than all others and an unsung hero who fought for what's right, even when it put his life on the line.
