Mina's eyes slowly began adjusting to the morning sunlight peaking through her curtains. She almost panicked at the time before she remembered it was Saturday. Her clock read 9:32, a little early for her on a weekend but not much.

She attempted to sit up and stretch but something heavy was keeping her on the bed. Looking down she saw an arm over her torso that definitely didn't belong to her. Her heart rate sped up rapidly. Who was in her bed?! The hand was large and covered in scars. Mina looked over her shoulder and saw the sleeping form of Izuku Midoriya big spooning her.

After a few seconds, the previous night started coming back to her and she remembered how they had ended up there. She took a few breaths and calmed down. All was good, just two friends waking up next to each other spooning. Totally normal.

She slowly reached towards the hand that was holding her to him and began to lift it so she can slide out of bed. She hadn't lifted it more than 6 inches before he pulled it back, pulling her closer to him in the process. She was now closer to him than she was before to the point where she could feel his breath on the back of her neck.

She was shocked at how effortlessly he moved her whole body weight with one arm. While asleep no less. Mina was by no means heavy but there was no struggle on Izuku's part. She was now perfectly matched with the curve of his body as he held her close. It would be a lie if she said that it didn't make her blush a bit.

Mina just opened her phone and scrolled for a bit since it was easier than trying to fight through Izuku's grasp. After about 15 minutes, Mina felt his grip relax as he turned over to face the other way. She rotated to look at him before deciding now would be a good time to get up before he realized she wasn't there.

Grabbing a change of clothes, she went into the bathroom and turned on the shower. The whole time she was just thinking "I can't believe I just spent the night with a boy, with Midoriya of all people." She figured after her shower and she got ready, she would just leave to get breakfast and let him leave on his own when he woke up.

Turning off the water, she quickly dried off, not bothering to use her blow dryer, changed into her clothes and quietly opened the bathroom door. As she peaked into the room, she saw her bed was empty. Looking around the room, Izuku was nowhere to be found.

"He must've slipped out once I left," Mina realized. She finished getting ready then also left her room. Making her way down to the common area, she saw Kirishima and Bakugo talking on the couch with Iida reading a newspaper in a nearby armchair.

Then something caught her eye. In the kitchen she saw the green haired boy with his back turned as he made himself breakfast. She waved hello to her friends before walking over to Izuku.

He was alone in the kitchen and didn't seem to hear her approach. She gently placed her hand on the small of his back and looked over his shoulder with a smile.

"Good morning sleepy head," Mina said in a playful tone.

"Oh good morning A-Ashido," Izuku responded shyly. He looked like he wanted to say something else but he didn't quite know what to say.

Mina decided to take the initiative there.

"Did you sleep ok? You were exhausted last night," she inquired while gently scratching his back.

"Oh y-yeah," he chuckled embarrassingly, "it was honestly the best I've slept in a few days."

Mina smiled at that response, not that she knew why.

"So what's this?" She gestured towards the eggs he was making, "figured if you stayed the night in a girls room you should make her breakfast?"

This was a total joke, she knew he was an easy tease and just wanted to mess with him.

"Um yeah," he said rubbing the back of his neck with a shy smile, "you were in the shower when I woke up and I wasn't really sure what to do. I didn't want to be there if you came out of the shower naked but I also figured this would be a nice thank you."

"Oh really?" Mina said in shocked appreciation, "well thank you, Izuku, that's really nice of you."

"I was going to bring it back up to your room for you but I guess I misjudged how long it would take. It should be done in a bit if you want to go have a seat."

Mina's whole perception of this boy was being blown apart right now. In the past 24 hours he was just her shy classmate, then accidentally spent the night, and was now cooking her breakfast as a thank you. She knew he was polite but she didn't know that he was this kind.

"Ok, see you in a bit," she said giving him two quick scratches before leaving to go to the dining room.

Momo, Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Tokoyami were sitting at the table already, having almost finished their breakfasts.

"Morning guys! Got anything fun planned for today?" Mina said happily as she took her seat next to Tsuyu.

"Not really," Momo said for the group, "everyone is pretty much just having a chill day. You seem awfully chipper this morning."

Mina was in a good mood but she figured she should tone it down so it doesn't seem too weird.

"Just slept really good last night"

This wasn't a lie, just the truth with a couple details left out. Izuku had said it was the best sleep he'd had in a few days. She hadn't said anything but she shared his sentiment, it was the best sleep she'd had since they'd moved into the dorms.

They all chatted for a few minutes when Izuku finally came out of the kitchen with two plates, each with scrambled eggs, bacon, buttered toast, a few orange slices, strawberries, and sliced kiwi.

Everyone at the table besides Mina had their jaws open in shock as Izuku delivered their breakfasts. Mina had a huge smile on her face, both from her excitement that Izuku made her breakfast but also at her friend's reactions to it.

"Since when does Deku make breakfast?" Uraraka asked looking around the corner to the kitchen, "is there more in there?"

Izuku paused for a moment, not knowing what to say. It's not like he could just say, "oh yeah I just spend the night in Mina's room so I wanted to make her breakfast." Luckily, Mina's improv skills were better than his.

"I had helped him with some homework and I told him he owed me food. I was thinking fast food but this is way better! Thanks Midori!" She said with a smile as she took a bite of bacon.

She could see his mind relaxing in his eyes. They hadn't done anything particularly wrong but they both knew that this wasn't something to just share with the group. Mina gave a wink with her left eye so the others didn't see to let him know it was their little secret.

Their friends seemed to buy their excuse and they had a normal breakfast. After everyone got up to leave, Izuku went back to the kitchen to tidy up his mess.

"I'll go clean up real quick."

"I'll help," Mina said happily.

"It's ok, you don't have to, really.

"Listen here," she said pointing her last strawberry at the flustered boy's nose, "you made me a bomb breakfast when you didn't have to so there's no way you're cleaning up by yourself, do you understand me?"

Izuku crossed his eyes as he looked at the threatening strawberry then gulped before responding, "yes ma'am."

Mina gave a cocky smirk at his response.

"Good," she said before biting down on the strawberry and walking past Izuku into the kitchen.

They cleaned plates and the few pans Izuku used in silence for a minute before either one spoke.

"Hey, this isn't going to affect our friendship right?" Izuku asked nervously.

Mina set the plate she was drying down and turned to face him.

"It didn't bother me at all so as long as you are fine then I am too. If anything, we are just better friends now."

Izuku smiled in relief, "It was fine with me, just wanted to make sure. Thanks Ashido."

"You've slept in my bed with me, I think it's ok if you call me Mina," she said with a cheeky wink.

Izuku laughed and blushed at the same time.

"Mina it is."

-Sunday Evening-

Most of Class 1-A had gathered in the common area after dinner. Several students came up with the idea of Sunday night being the mutual hangout time, just a way for everyone to come together and relax as a group.

The tv was playing some sitcom in the background that only a few people were actually paying attention to. Most were in groups of 3 to 4 having personal conversations, playing games, or just vibing.

Sitting on the long couch was Mina, Sero, Tokoyami, and Ojiro with Uraraka, Jiro, and Iida on the short couch.

Bakugo, kirishima, and Denki were sitting on the floor a few feet away and were in the middle of a very competitive UNO game.

The two couches had been in the middle of a conversation about how they thought the world would act now that All Might wasn't an acting hero anymore. Some thought that it would motivate more heroes to work harder to fill his void while others worried about villains seeing this as the opportunity they'd been waiting for.

"Hey Deku, how was training?" Uraraka said as the green haired boy came in through the front door.

"Good," he responded making his way over to the couch groups, "my training has definitely been paying off with controlling my quirk."

"That's awesome bro!" Sero said with a thumbs up.

"Midoriya I'm intrigued to hear your thoughts on this matter," Iida said in a "matter of fact" way, "with All Might now retired from hero work, how do you feel like society will respond to his absence?"

The rest of the group looked to Izuku for his response. Everyone knew he was All Might's biggest fanboy so if anyone had a good insight on this topic it would be him.

It was a hard topic to think about for him but Izuku thought for a minute then responded,

"I do fear that villains may see this as a win and crime may begin to rise, however with more people wanting to be heroes now than ever, I feel like All Might's sacrifice will inspire others to go beyond and be better heroes."

"I would agree with your assessment Midoriya," Iida said, "I look forward to being a part of those heroes that make society safer until one day a new Symbol of Peace emerges."

The conversation split at this point and went a different route.

After a couple minutes, Mina glanced in Izuku's direction and like the other night, saw him basically asleep standing up. His eyes were glossy and he was clearly zoned out. It made her a little sad that this was the second time this had happened with friends and she had been the only one to notice both times.

There was no place for him to sit since the couches were full. He was within arms reach of her so she extended a hand out and took his hand which brought him back to consciousness however his eyes still conveyed exhaustion. With her free hand she tapped the couch cushion's edge to let him know he could sit on the floor in front of her. She didn't say anything so he didn't get any unnecessary attention, but she wanted to let him know he could rest.

Smiling at her invitation, Izuku took a seat in front of Mina and let out a quiet sigh from finally being able to sit down. Mina reached down and nonchalantly began to massage his shoulders. His muscles were as tough as rocks.

"Damn Midori what kinda training do you do?!"she thought to herself as she tried to work her way through his muscle knots. Most people probably would've stopped after a minute of this due to lack of hand strength, but lucky for Izuku, Mina was more fit than the average person and had no problem continuing for a while.

Izuku just relaxed and didn't question it. Her hands felt amazing. It takes a lot for people to work through his sore muscles so Mina's grip strength was appreciated. After a couple minutes, he reached back and double tapped her hand to let her know she could stop.

The pink hero stopped her massage and with one hand just gently played with his hair. She had enjoyed the repetitive motion the other night plus his hair was always really soft. Instantly Izuku leaned into her hand and closed his eyes in relaxation.

Mina smiled knowing he liked when she played with his hair. She didn't pay much attention to it and spent most of her attention on the other various conversations happening while her hand went on autopilot.

Before long she began to notice his head becoming heavier. Looking down she noticed that he was more than likely asleep. She had been sitting cross legged on the couch so she extended her legs to each side of Izuku to keep him from falling over. She allowed his head to rest on her thigh and continued to scratch his head softly.

As Ojiro leaned over to tell Mina something he looked down and saw Izuku passed out.

"Hey did Midoriya fall asleep?" He asked, now bringing the two couches attention on how he was asleep on Mina's leg.

"Yeah, must be all his extra personal training he's been doing. He's not bothering me so I just let him sleep," Mina said pausing her head scratching antics.

"I'm just glad he's getting SOME sleep," Uraraka said, "he's been telling Iida and I that he basically hasn't slept more than two hours at a time since last Tuesday."

"Well except for Friday night remember," Iida interjected to Uraraka, "he made a point Saturday afternoon to say he felt well rested and that he wished he could sleep that good every night."

Hearing that comment made her feel both flattered and concerned. Obviously they didn't know why he slept good that night but now she had more questions.

Why hadn't he been sleeping?

Is he ok?

He seemed to fall sleep fine a minute ago.

"Did you give something to him Mina?," Jiro asked, "sleeping medicine or anything?"

She shook her head, "nope, I was just playing with his hair and the next thing I knew he was out."

"Huh, I've played with his hair before too," Uraraka commented, "it didn't make him fall asleep when I did it."

Mina shrugged, "Magic hands I guess. I stopped a bit ago so let's just see if he wakes up."

Sure enough about 3 minutes later, Izuku blinked a few times and yawned awake. No one said anything about the conversation to him but it did confirm that Mina had something to do with him sleeping.

"I'm going to bed before I wake myself up too much," Izuku said standing up and stretching. "G'night everyone," he said waving and looking at his friends. His eyes lingered on Mina just a second longer than everyone else but he didn't think much of it.

Mina was the only one that picked up on it and as the OFA user walked towards the elevator, a smile spread across the acid-wielder's face as the only thing she thought about was how cute he looked asleep in her lap.
