Kyra walked with Light from school talking about their class assignment and other topics. "Im glad your grades are improving with my help." Said Light. "Thanks for that but can i ask you something?" Said Kyra. "What is it?" Said Light looking at her. "Are you working with your dad on the Kira case?" Said Kyra. "I dont know. Why? Are you?" Said Light. "I was asked by the officers." Said Kyra as they stopped near the gate of Kyras home. "They may have suspect that im Kira by my name. They don't know their gender." Said Kyra looking at the keypad but paused. She noticed something waged in the crack as Light looked concerned. "Are you ok?" Said Light then saw her gently take out the object from the crack. They looked at it to see it was a tightly folded note with something inside. "Kyra." Said Light seeing her tense a bit. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder making her snap back into reality and shoved the note into her pocket. "Sorry about that. I gotta go in and do my extra credit. See you later." Said Kyra opening the gate and went in. "Yeah. Im gonna go study." Said Light waving at her. Kyra waved back before rushing inside and headed straight to her room. She dropped her bag and sat on her desk to open the note slowly. There in the written in messy red ink were WLFN WRFN PB SURAB. With a few dried black rose petals making her heart race then pulled out her phone. "What happened?" Said L. "He knows where we are." Said Kyra. "I shouldn't have guessed it was going take a bit longer." Said L as Kyra ignored his comment. "He left me a code written in blood." Said Kyra. "I'll have Mr. Yagami escort you both to the hotel right away." Said L hanging up. Kyra put everything in her bag and changed out of her school uniform as knock was heard downstairs.
She quietly walked downstairs and looked through the peephole to see Mr. Yagami and Light. "Kyra?" Said Mr. Yagami knocking again as Kyra opened the door. "Is everything alright?" Said Mr. Yagami seeing her look past them. "I'll explain everything. Let just grab my bag." Said Kyra going upstairs. "Im gonna go check on her." Said Light following her. He looked around and found Kyra locking the windows making worried. "What is going on?" Light asked stopping her from leaving. "That note i found was from my father. Now come on we need to go." Said Kyra passing him. "Your father. What about him?" Said Light following her to the front door. Kyra didnt answer as Mr. Yagami lead them to his car with Kyra and Light in the back. "What is it about your father making you scared? I can help you." Said Light seeing her look out the window. "Its complicated. You wouldn't understand just yet." Said Kyra as they stayed quiet until they reached the hotel. She was first to get out covering her face with her hoodie and rushed in going to the elevator. Light stood next to her inside while his father hit their floor. He looked down at her and grabbed her hand but got pulled away as she crossed her arms. "Should i call your mother?" Said Mr. Yagami. "Its best. She knows that im the one hes after." Said Kyra as they reached the floor. Kyra walked towards L watching the computers and handed him the note she found. "Have you decoded the message?" Said L opening it. He saw the petals fall and looked at the code written and hummed. "The second i opened it. Tick. Tock. My Proxy. And the petals were obviously from the black roses meaning Vengeance." Said Kyra as Light stood next to her. "Why would he do something like this?" Said Light. "He has been a known for countless murders and is wanting Kyra in his plans." Said L.
"Your father is a killer. Why didnt you tell me?" Said Light. "Its not really something i like talking about to anyone. Mom and my entire family didnt know until i became a witness when i came home early one day." Said Kyra. "Yeah i guess you had your reasons. What should we do now?" Said Kyra looking at him. "Its best if you stayed here and have your mother and Uncle relocated. We both know you're his main target. We'll figure the rest out." Said L. "If he's a killer. Then he would have left dna or something for us to track his moves." Said Light. "True but since she and L tempered with the evidence its going to take time." Said One of the agents. "Its doesnt matter. Hes going to get his way without being caught. Hes not an idiot to leave anything behind by mistake. Besides that 'ink' is obviously blood from one his fresh kills." Said Kyra before stealing a seat from one of the computers. "Go have this tested and match it with amy bodies found today." Said L handing the note and petals to the agents. "Dont you want to be alone?" Said Light looking concerned. "I can order you some take out while you're safe in your private room next to mine." Said L making her smile a little but frowned. She then felt arms wrap around her shoulder looking up to see Light. "He's going to be stopped. Not if Kira has a say in it." Said Light. "To him and my father. Im nothing and wont last for long." Said Kyra. "Then i should install cameras in your room and on you for safety." Said L not fazed to Kyra glaring at him. "Do it and I'll hurt you." Said Kyra feeling Light squeeze her a little. "Now that is done. I want to talk about the second Kira." Said L. "Second? Of course. Either a copycat,follower, or crazy lover." Said Kyra as she gotten looks from everyone in the room. "What im horror movie nerd and watched true crime documentary on tv and internet." Said Kyra as Mr. Yagami came in holding the phone. She can clearly hear her mother freaking out loudly on rhe phone with her uncle in the background trying to calm her down. "Wheres my room?" Said Kyra getting up took the phone. "I'll show you and might as well talk to your mom." Said L getting up and leads her to the elevator.
