I own nothing.

I was selected to transmigrate after my death, I don't know why, I just know I was not alone. I saw other souls around me looking into their own options. I ignored it and focused on mine.

[Transmigration Panel.

Do you wish to go to a world with a group of other Transmigrators? Work together to meet your goals and aspirations?]

Not interested in co-op.

[What world to you wish to go to?]

Looking through the list. I chose the one closest to my heart. Dragon Ball Z... rest in peace.

Though I choose an AU one, looking through it, it seems to still follow most of the main timeline, just has a bunch other stuff mixed in. Like the movies. A DBZ & Plus universe.

[Select Native Race.]

Sorry to be cliche, but I'm selecting Saiyan.

[Perks, you can get one for free, but for every additional perk after that, you need to add a flaw as well.]

I look through the list on what's appealing and pick them up. Choosing things that primarily enhance my ability to learn.

[You have selected

Perk: Omni-Learner

- (Able to eventually learn most types of techniques, with practice. Even some gene exclusive ones. Just takes you longer to do so.)

Flaw: None, Free Perk

Perk: Mind's Library

- (Record any technique you have witnessed to analyze later)

Flaw: Not Safely at Home

- (You will not be able to spawn on Earth)

Perk: Other Worldly Martial Arts

- (Be able to manifest a random technique from worlds outside of the Dragon Ball Universe once every year.)

Flaw: No Cheap Revives.

- (The normal Dragon Balls cannot bring you back to life if you die.)]

Nice. Lastly, I'm choosing a race modifier. Oh, I can select almost anything. Even creatures from other worlds... but the more powerful something is, the more heavy of a flaw I need to take on. I'll just choose something that would be weak in Dragon Ball, but has a lot of potential. Huh, I can pick to be part Kaiju even. As much as being part Godzilla sounds fun...

[Perk: Hybrid

- (Tyrant)

Flaw: Reduced S-Cells

- (100x Harder to become a Super Saiyan)]

That seems good enough for me.

I wake up and find myself in a desolate world. My body's age regressing to 12 years old judging by the shape of my hands and feet. Also along with an origin of my existence being embedded in my head.

I was born in a rather morbid and cursed way though... unfortunately.

To note, I am the same age as Goku at the moment, as I had set it up that way. Looking around, I mostly see only destruction, ruins, and sand in the area. Some places marked by large footprints resembling that of a giant ape.

A planet that the saiyans must have desolated, but who knows how long ago. In the distant, I see a set of dragon like bones with some flesh still writhing about on it.

My dead mother's corpse. Something I had been feasting little by little for my survival as my body adapted to being starved in this desolate environment. I take the last specks of flesh and consume it. It doesn't fight back against me. As if willingly wishing to provide me nourishment.

I take one of the bones and crack it open in with my teeth. Empty. No more bone marrow either. I sigh and stretch my body.

"Time to leave the nest." I say out loud and begin my long trek to find some sort of civilization. To learn more about this world, and my history, or at the least. Learn a way to get off this rock.

Also, clothes. I am tired of getting sand in my asscrack.

This planet must have been massive. It took me weeks to finally see something. I was jogging for most of it, and I believe I was moving quickly as well. Pretty sure I broke the sound barrier earlier too.

Still haven't learned to fly yet, or do much with ki general. Definitely need an example like Goku did.

Also, it's very possible that I was just running in circles for a while. This planet has two suns and I have no form of navigation. It also was practically flattened, so not many noticeable land marks.

I finally made it through, as I see in the distance a vibrantly neon city filled with floating ships and large oval looking cities. As I got closer and closer, the city just looked more and more like Space Vegas...

I focus on myself and soon see my hands turn transparent. The Tyrant that was my mother seemed to be modeled after the Tyrant in Akame Ga Kill before he was turned into a weapon. So she had the power to turn invisible for a little bit, and passed that down to me.

I can only maintain it for 5 minute, maybe more if I knew how to properly use ki, but one minute would be enough for my plans.

Jumping over the metal looking wall that was lined around the city, I looked around and spotted my target quickly. An unassuming shmuck of an alien in some dark corner hitting on another. I dash in and knock the dude out and steal its cloths and dash into another corner in a blink of an eye.

The shmuch was bigger than me in size, so I just tore up whatever I could until I got myself makeshift robe and undies.

I then casually took a trip around the city, honestly, wasn't that different from normal Vegas. It's just people either had horns or looked blue with pink dots or something. Walking around, I eventually found a good place to see a reflection of myself and what I looked like.

Black spiky hair flowing down to my shoulders, black eyes with white cross shaped pupils. Lastly, a long black reptilian tail. I didn't look like a saiyan, but had many of their general traits still.

Weird.

I eventually came across a casino, and slipped in. There, I took a look from a distance at what games were available. There were a plethora of games, but very few could be beat with skill. I sigh and leave before anyone could kick me out for being homeless.

This became my routine for a while, sloping into casinos, picking up spare Pols, trying to win some extra cash on some more skill based games in some casinos.

I got somewhat good at these things too. Gaining skills related to sleight of hand like pickpocketing, card swapping, and other such things. This allowed me to have a reasonable amount of money. Enough to feed myself for the most part.

One day on the way out of come out with nothing in a casino as they kicked me out. From the corner of my eyes, I honed in on something. A man with four arms had his hand down on the table, along with a sign saying anyone that can beat him in a contest of strength would win a large cash prize with a set value.

Classic scam. One that is especially good when you know you are born from a race that is more powerful than most others. Honestly, why hadn't I thought of that?

I look around for scrap cash on the streets, and eventually get enough to pay for half the cost to challenge the guy. I approach the large red alien and ask, "Mister. Could I try?" I say as cutely as I could. It came out raspy instead.

"Beat it squirt. You look like you need the money for your next meal. Not worth losing it all on this. I ain't holding back. Besides, I need more than that. That's 5 gold pols, I need 10 for a match." The red man says.

Well... shit. Time to switch gears. I look around and grab a nearby large rock and pull it into position on the opposite wall from the red four armed guy. Using my finger, I dig into the wall. Drawing up odd pictures trying to convey that challenging me cost one gold Pol, but if you win you get the whole pot.

I put the 5 gold on the table and wait. While I do, I see the red guy stare at me and snicker. Eventually as people came by, one of them tried against the red guy and lost. But before he left. He looked at me and walked over. "Damn, well, let's see if I can at least get some of my money back."

We arm wrestled and I won with faked difficulty. "Whoa. Not bad kid. Here is a gold pol. Not too much of a loss, at least you don't ask for 10 like the other guy." He says before leaving.

This went on for a while, as people thought they could beat me and easily recover from their loss against big red. Eventually, the pot got so big, people just came up to me, as playing a round against me was much less risky and more cost effective as the winning was a higher amount per price payed.

I also attracted more attention being a kid beating everyone who were adults for the most part, and seemingly never running out of stamina.

While this went on for a bit, the red guy started getting angry. Not many people were willing to face him now. He came up to me himself upon his breaking point.

"You know what, I was underestimating you it seems. Right here and now, let's go against each other, winner takes all of the other persons money for the day." Finally. Hook, line, and sinker.

We go to his table, and I place my hand down. His entire palm engulfed my hand. Yet when we arm wrestled, it was somewhat even, much to his surprise.

Veins budged and we constantly went back and forth as we pushed our muscles to its limit. Eventually, my body's natural vitality overcame his limited stamina and I beat him.

"Damn, I haven't been beaten a while. Not bad kid..." The guy finally says. "Name is Kuarto." He says.

Ah right, a name. Haven't got one, on the account of my mother being dead that is. "I am Pitaya." I blurt out. Wait. Did I just name myself after dragon fruit? Bruh, it's got to be the saiyan dna or something. Better than 'Salada', I guess.

"Alright then Pitaya, what are you even? I can't quite tell what your race is." He says.

"I am... half dinosaur." Kinda true, there are dinosaurs that look like dragons in this universe.

Kuarto looks at me weirdly before saying, "that's fucked up man. Who would to that to an animal?!"

"A very barbaric saiyan." I say with a bit of disgust.

Kuarto thinks for a moment and says. "Hmm, this planet received an attack by saiyan about 12 years ago. 6 years later, it was sold off to some wealthy dude who plans to turn the whole thing into a casino planet over the course of 55-60years. You look about 12, so everything checks out... Still, how the fuck does that work enough for you to be born."

He then shakes his head, looks at me and asks. "You want to try being a galactic patroller kid? Essentially we try to fight against the saiyan and their masters across the universe. Mostly the masters as the saiyans met an ironic end."

I think about it for a moment. Honestly, it's not a bad idea. Even though they don't really do much, at least I get a ship for free if I pass whatever training they have. Along with access to their database for planetary coordinates. That's what I am after, but fighting against the evils of the universe while waiting for the timeline to progress sounds like a good pass time honestly. "Sure, it sounds fun Mr. Kuarto."

A/N:

This may seem a bit too easy, but honestly, Pitaya will eventually join the Galactic Patrol no matter what.

The hard way would be to save up enough money to get a ship and try to join the galactic patrol by going to their HQ directly. Either way, Pitaya would want to go there.

Why? It's the only way for him to eventually obtain the coordinates of Namek and Earth. As they are both considered lesser planets due to not being space faring civilizations.
