Oneshot 2 - Akane watched Ranma leave. He was furious because she gave the dish she cooked to Ryoga. After all, he had always enjoyed her cooking, while Ranma kept criticizing her. But she secretly hoped to annoy Ranma by giving what she had cooked to Ryoga.

1. At First Sight

At First Sight

Ranma and Akane's first meeting was unconventionally. He was a girl, his father was a panda and he had just learned that Genma had engaged him to the daughter of one of his friends. Akane had also just learned that her or one of her sisters was engaged to him.

He was not in his true appearance, Soun had fainted when he saw that his friend's son was a girl, Kasumi was quiet, Nabiki was furious, but Akane was smiling at him, defending him against her sister who was angry at him for being a girl and not a boy.

Ranma looked at Akane shyly. Even if he was always self-confident, this situation made him uncomfortable. But strangely, whereas he had just met her, Akane's presence appeased him. She was pretty. Much prettier than the girls he had met during his travels with his father. And she had been nice to him. He was not used to anyone showing him kindness. Not even his own father.

Then, she had suggested him to train with her in their dojo. He had accepted with a huge smile. Martial arts were his whole life and he never missed an opportunity to train. He had been able to see her level. Even if she was quite good, he was much stronger than her. The only problem was that she had confessed to him that she would have taken it badly if he had been a boy.

Ranma smiled uncomfortably. What would happen if she found out the truth ? He knew he could not hide it from her for long. And what was supposed to happen happened. Akane had discovered he was a boy in the most embarrassing way possible. She had yelled at him, insulted him, hit him, then it had been decided that she would be his fiancée.

This was how their story began and even if Ranma would never admit it to anyone, it was the day they met that he had fallen in love. He had discovered what love at first sight meant. Because of his pride, he admited it to Akane years later. And she told him that she had fallen in love at first sight too.
