Cariangelus: Why not? This isn't canon which is why I switched things around. It's just more about Harry and Naruto and although I like Ginny I felt that she wasn't really suited to him in what I got planned. I am already thinking about doing subsequent sequels featuring the pairings with bits of Harry and Naruto thrown in them to expand.

If anybody wants to tell me about what pairings to do first I will hold a poll later on in the story.

Back in Sound

Things have come to a head Sasuke muses. Watching Sirius sleep, the older man was still healing from what happened just a few days ago. Kabuto had put him through the ringer lately alongside Orochimaru and it made the Uchiha move to gather what he needed. Mostly waiting for a chance to find one person which he had done the night before. He was intent on getting himself and the others out. Karin was already with him. And as to the other two, he knows one will join just for as he would say shits and giggles. The other, he could control. Not that he really needs to.

He was the one he had to locate and he had finally done it. His plan was coming to fruition.

The only one he waited on was Sirius. The older man… Sasuke had gotten attached to him. He shouldn't have but he has. This man understood his need to kill his brother. When he was awake, Sirius had told him of this Pettigrew and what he had done to him and his friends. Full of trust, this person ratted out another friend and his wife to be killed.

Leaving their son alone. Knowing full well that it was this Harry that Naruto hung out with. It was the only reason why Sasuke didn't kill the other teenager. He was the last of his line, just like him and Naruto. Knowing that the blonde was a Namikaze changed nothing about how he felt. And thanks to spies going in and out of Konoha and other villages.

This Harry was an Uzumaki. Considering Sirius's reaction to Karin and how he heard she looked like Lily. With what he read in the files, he put two and two together, Lily was Naruto's aunt and Harry's mother. Sirius was not able to tell him for sure as he was out and so he moved on. He could sense he was being watched anyway, and knowing Kabuto. The man was surely keeping an eye on him as it was getting time for the Snake to switch to his body.

Like that was going to happen…

A smirk crossing his features, Saasuke went about his business. Most of the Sound shinobi knew to avoid him. Not just because of Orichimaru's orders. But also because he was a formidable opponent. They were a little crazy to be working with the snake. But they weren't stupid.

Now watching him go and speak with Karin, they feel sorry for her. Everyone knew of her crush for him, but outside of needing something, he never really gave her the time of day. So many had asked her out. But she would disdainfully turn them down.

Sighing as they moved on, they did not hear as the teen spoke with her.

With Karin

"It will happen as soon as he wakes up." Sasuke stated. "Get him and be ready to go."

Nodding her head, the red headed tilted her head in curiosity. "Are you sure about this Sasuke? He could still be a liability." Her analytical mind spoke. The dark-haired youth looked at her sharply causing her to take a step back.

"He comes."

"All right."

Watching as he walks away Karin cannot help but be curious. Why has Sirius interested Sasuke so much? Sure, she has heard from the older man he could understand his desire to kill Itachi. He himself wanted to kill a rat.

A rat, she chuckled a little bit at that. Curious about her own animal spirit as she recalled the story, he told her about when he was in school. She couldn't help but commend him. He and his friends wanted to help another control this beast within him. The only thing they could think of was to change into animal forms.

It worked, he had shown her his dog form, and he annoyed her a bit when he would playfully lick her face. It caused her to laugh a bit though. In his dog form he had grinned unrepentantly for it. Of course, she made him pay for it later with a prank of her own.

But hearing of the magic, how it was used and the mythical creatures there. She had to admit she wanted to see for herself. This had lately become a dream of hers. Wanting to even do more scientific research, she thinks about what she learned. To mock her, Kabuto had finally told of two relatives she has.

Angry to say the least as she didn't believe it for neither one had red hair. But seeing their pictures in the books, although they didn't have the traditional signs. Both boys had Uzumaki features. Especially in the shape of their eyes and mouths. They were the same as hers. Even the color of the dark-haired boy's was all Uzumaki. The blonde's easy-going smile was as well. She had often seen it in her own mother.

These two were her family. Thinking that after all this business was over. Maybe she would see about meeting them both.

Going to check on Sirius now, she smiled as he seemed to be coming to. Holding his hand as the man breathed, she was happy as he gave it a tentative squeeze.

Seeing him waking up albeit reluctantly, she hands her arm out. Knowing he doesn't want to as he heavily protested the first time she was told to do so. He said that day he was not a vampire in the slightest.

Of course, that led to a story about this Count Dracula which she listened to intently. Her eyes widening, she couldn't help but listen. The older man was an excellent storyteller and out of the corner of her eyes, she chuckled to herself a little bit as some Shinobi stopped to listen. Their own curiosity peaked.

Trying to shove her away, this time Karin buckles down. "I know you don't want to and never have. I never liked doing it either, but Sirius. For the first time in years. I want to do this for someone."

Hearing that and having heard her stories of her own past, the older man was in shock. Still reluctant, he nods his head and agrees. Somehow looking at her eyes, he knows any protest will cause him to get yelled at later by the girl should he do something stupid. Honestly if she was older, he would date her in a heartbeat. She was too young though. In the meantime he watched as she nicked her arm a little bit.

Having told him her body had healing properties, he was happy that the blasted Orichimaru saved her from that life. She should have had a childhood. Leaning forward, he took a bite. Trying to make it painless as possible, he only held on for a moment. Then let go. The marks of his teeth he tried to hold with his hands to stop the blood.

"I'll be ok Sirius." Karin responded gently. Normally stern and cold towards others, Karin can count on one hand those that were actually concerned about her in her lifetime. This man was one of them.

Still feeling guilty he smiles reluctantly, but now as she tells him what was going to happen in the next few days. Sirius nods his head. Still healing the wizard knew to keep his mouth shut, to be able to get out of here was something he looked forward to.

In the meantime, back in Konoha

Bill found himself in his new office. These shinobi spared no expense for him, and he was flattered. Between him and Fleur they have managed to free up about 20 shinobi from three different villages today. Most having those earlier seals he and his fiancée could do having seen and felt them before. There was still a couple they were working on.

But he wondered about something. Looking at the blonde beauty he took in a moment to smile. It was hard to believe that a girl like her would be interested in him. He admits he is not handsome like most others but yet she wants him.

"Bill"

Her voice soft as she speaks to him, he is startled. A slight giggle escaping the blonde looks at him with a theory. "Bill, Kakashi had told us when this Sasuke person got his he was bitten right?"

"Same as Anko." He replied as he nodded his head.

"I was looking over some items and notes they found at that lab. I think I know where they are getting this from."

"Oh?"

Placing the papers she had gathered down in front of him, he nods his head. Throwing his own question and comments here and there. The two agree on Fleur's thesis. Knowing that they needed to see the Hokage, they stepped out to gesture for Shizune. Telling her and explaining what they believe, she summons a squad of ANBU to guard them as they leave the hospital.

Having heard about the other village's interest in Fleur, Bill was not letting her go anywhere alone if he could help it. It was good that their new home was almost done and he could do the charms necessary to protect her. But ironically it also helped that in a letter to her mother, Her Aunt was coming to Konoha. The older woman was pure veela herself, and not only was she curious about her niece's new home. But she was going to also protect said niece as well.

The shinobi have yet to see real psst off blonde if they hurt Fleur, for they can be just as deadly as a jinchuuriki. Yes, having seen the tapes and files on Naruto. Bill can relatively say his fiancée's family can do that kind of damage with relative ease.

"So, I hear something new has been discovered, eh?" Anko popping up out of nowhere, Bill has long gotten used to her quirks. Fleur chuckling as well, the purple haired woman grins as she gestures for them to follow her. Accompanying her ironically was Kinglsey Shacklebolt, the lead auror had been chosen by Moody to work directly with Anko and Ibiki. The shinobi duo was known for their interrogation techniques, and it was felt that he would learn best from them, and he has.

Not shy when it comes to getting the info they need. The man had their level of creativity but more refined. It impressed Anko who instantly took a shine to the dark-skinned man. His elegance in interrogation was well documented by the duo who showed him something as well.

That sometimes you have to make it hurt to learn something.

Relaying to Anko as they all went to the tower, the torture specialist listened. Nodding her head, she took it all in with thought as did Kingsley, the black man looking thoughtful. "That is certainly interesting, but I have heard of other incidents such as that." He replied.

The couple surprised at this; he talks about the curse upon the Greengrass line as he heard it through said Lord. The man, a good friend of his, had proceeded to explain about the Maledictus curse and what it supposedly entailed. The fact that it hadn't been used in who knows how long. It was inheritable which leads credence to one thing.

That the curse seals Orichimaru is infecting people with is passed down in a family somewhere.

All of them now moving a little faster, they finally arrive at the Hokage office. The blonde woman and Shizune listened as Fleur and Bill explained. Kingsley shares knowledge of what happened to the Greengrass family. The woman looked thoughtful as she turned to Bill as she spoke.

"Bill, do you think you can counter it?"

"Honestly I don't know," he replied. "All I can say is I can look for a way to do so. There's bound to be something somewhere."

"Perhaps if I was to speak to Lord Greengrass about coming to visit with his family records would help? I do know he suffers from said malediction" Kingsley answered curiously.

"It would." Bill replied. Shizune spoke up at that moment. "Could you ask him to please see a med tech. The Hyuugas were able to detect the issue in Dumbledore-san. Perhaps they can see a way to help him and his family. Between them and Bill-san here they can figure out how to counter."

"Good Idea. Let Hiashi know." Tsunade answered with conviction. Looking at Shacklebolt who was in charge of the aurors here, with intent. "Next time you see Moody, tell him and I will let Hiashi know we need another meeting. It appears to me that the Hyuugas will be beneficial to the west."

"Indeed.' Kingsley replied. "If they can detect curses on people, it would help us save those affected." Thinking of two friends who even now had been driven crazy thanks to one. Thoughtful to say the least, he looks over at the woman whom he respects just as much as Dumbledore.

"Working with Anko, I have met a mind controller named Iniochi." May I ask him to come as well. Perhaps he can help me with two friends of mine. ``

Curious to say the least, Tsunade and the others listen to him as well. Telling of the Longbottoms and what was done to them via the crucio curse and driven mad. The blonde woman and Shizune look thoughtful.

"I do believe the Yamanaka clan has been working on restoring some connections, haven't they Shizune?"

"Yes. It is Ino's project actually. She wanted to try it on coma patients to bring them back. She's been working on it with some of them under supervision. And I admit there is some progress."

"All right." Turning to Kingsley, "let me discuss it with Iniochi, Ino is his daughter and currently out with the rest of team 10. It may take a bit."

Nodding his head he smiles in respect. "Thank you."

Malfoy Manor

Being on his guard, Lucius watched as the Dark Lord paced in rage. That Parkinson twit had sent her mother a letter as well as other Slytherins concerning this snake that appeared for Potter. Over 100 feet long this snake could not only talk to Harry and the others, but that Harry had to pass a test of some sort.

Seeing how Draco reported the year before concerning the Toads he could summon. Not to mention the Dogs that Hakate could do. He feels much better about his choices. Even Narcissa was calmer now. With less worry about their son in the future, they set about keeping their word.

"I WANT HIM DEAD!" Voldemort hollered as only seconds later he cast a crucio on Pettigrew. The rat screaming in pain, Lucius just raised an eyebrow. The man was a coward through and through and he had no respect for him. Betraying the light was good and all. But betraying good friends? Even he found that abhorrent. There was no honor in the act. If he was going to betray someone, he would at least tell it to their face.

"My Lord, surely if you kill him now…" Someone started to speak but narrowly avoided a killing curse shot his way.

Shaking his head as most of the Death eaters, especially the newer ones haven't figured out to just let him rage. It was safer for all of them. Especially since he seems to aim at Pettigrew most of the time anyway.

Only once has he felt it and that was one time too many in his book. Mostly he gets beaten as Voldemort had stated once, that below the neck was fine. They need his looks and charm to get things done. It was why he was bandaged right now. The Dark Lord was angry as he had no word from Draco about this. What saved him though was the fact the letter arrived only a minute later.

"That Snake…" He growls. The dark wizard enraged at the thought of something bigger than his Nagini under the beck and call of someone other than him. Knowing what he was thinking, he looks to his wife as she nods her agreement in her opinion as well.

"IT SHOULD BE MINE!"

"My Lord, perhaps once we kill the boy it will come for you." Simpering as always, Lucius just wrinkles his nose at Lord Flint's prose. Him and the Parkinson woman had been having an affair for years. Now that her husband was dead, there were bets among the death eaters about how long it was before Mrs. Flint disappeared.

But what many don't know is that according to Narcissa, the woman was fully aware of the situation and that her husband would never do anything to her. Why? If she was to die, he could never come back home. The home they lived in was hers and so was the money. And the wards were tied to her, not him.

Another thing that he knew. Flint didn't give a damn about her. To him she was well according to the muggles, just a piece of ass.

It was quite amusing to see the woman trying to get him to leave his wife.

The Dark Lord snarled at that moment as he once again shot a killing spell at one of the new recruits. This time striking true the woman died instantly. Shaking his head as he immediately knew he was going to have to think of something to tell her family as Nagini slithered by and began to eat, That snake giving many a chill as it only obeyed Voldemort, He remembered about what Draco had told him not too long ago.

Flashback,

Father,

I am doing well. Professor Gai has been instructing me with the help of his students. He instructs me to tell you to tell you that the will of fire is still burning brightly for us. He even states that with Blaise and Daphne we would make a good team together.

Potter explained to me about the village and their way of life. Did you know that once they graduate from their shinobi academy at 12 they are considered adults? They can drink, stay out late and do what they want. These missions that they do? He explained as he went with his cousin on one. He had to save a new friend from being kidnapped.

They do things like rescues, escorting, guarding, fighting in battle and all to protect their home and country which is the Land of Fire.

And he told me about the clans he knows about there.

Did you know they have a family that makes the Imperio curse obsolete. Apparently, this Yamanaka clan controls minds, someone else controls shadows, while others control dogs and insects to the point the animals can do magic partnered with them.

I know it sounds hard to believe. But when I asked Neji when he was helping me do the cabinet, he activated something that his clan called the Byakugan. Neji can see in all directions and to the very energy in bodies and objects. You know that cursed necklace they wanted me to give to Slugworth. Before I took two steps, Neji stopped me. He could literally see the darkness emanating from it.

And his family is over 100 folks strong.

There's also something called the Sharingan, there are apparently two people who have it but they can copy anything. But well, they can also torture people with it if they look directly into their eyes. Potter told me one of his cousin's friends when they were younger was put under it for a minute, but to said friend, he explained it felt like days went past with no reprieve of pain.

But he said there are also good things. Wizards are going there, because of the opportunities to be had. We can use magic out in the open. The shinobi there do their jutsus all the time on training grounds around the village and for everyday things. To be free to do that without repercussions is amazing enough, and if the girls look as good as TenTen and that pink haired girl Sakura…I might actually find the next Mrs. Malfoy without an arrangement.

He also told me to tell you that the Hokage is getting our new house built. We will be under watch by ANBU though. Potter told me that they are basically their version of the Unspeakables. They are everywhere, but you don't know that they are there unless they choose to be seen. It is to be sure of us and our intentions at least for a while.

Ironically, they wear black and have animal masks on, but unlike the dark lord, according to Potter. Well, he said Professor Hatake is a former ANBU member which should say a lot. He said the same thing happened to him and the Weasleys, so it is not just because of our past.

And Father, I think the Weasleys are trying to make an overture towards us. Ron Weasley at practice the other day said I did good. It surprised me. Even Granger, despite being who she is, was helping me out with some pointers. Her, Potter, and Weasley are the first official wizarding team of Konoha.

I want to try to be the second. Blaise and Daphne agreed with me as we talked about it. Even Astoria is curious about it as well. Their families are neutral, but they want to do something to not only help me. But the opportunities would be fantastic for them in the future. Astoria wants to help in their hospital as according to Potter's girlfriend, they are always looking for Med techs and they are opening a potions department. And you have to admit she is pretty good.

We are going to talk to Professor Gai about it as soon as they talk to their families. With what's going on here. I think they would want to stay out of it.

Anyway…

Flashback ends

The letter continued on for a while, but he could applaud his son's ambition. If he and his friends can do it. He knows that he has a future in the works and Lucius will do anything to protect that.

"Malfoy!"

"Yes, my Lord?"

"Tell your son, he better have it fixed by that time or you and your wife will never see him again!"

Nodding to do his bidding, Narcissa remained behind. The woman listening as the dark lord mutters under his breath. Confused to say the least, she listens as he keeps muttering something about a wand that is in Dumbledore's possession that he wants with a passion.

Keeping that in mind, she walks away to begin dinner preparations. Knowing how to cook was one of the things that attracted Lucius to her. She liked the kitchen; it was one of the few rooms that he and Draco stayed out of. It was her domain. Unlike her mother, Narcissa was like her brother Sirius to a degree. She wanted to live her life filled with love and not power. Meeting Lucius was a miracle as despite his cold exterior, she and Draco knew better. The man was caring and kind to those he loved with a passion.

It was an ongoing joke in their family that she was the 'man' of the house as the muggles would say. She didn't like being around them so much, but one thing she did like was their books. That Fifty Shades of Grey was something that made her and Lucius have a wonderful time at a getaway of theirs when Draco was in his third year.

She was glad when she found it at the bookstore in Diagon Alley among others. She now has quite the collection. Lucius calls them stupid and deplorable, but he gets them for her whenever she wants. It was her habit to be honest and if it made her smile. He was all for it. Kept secret from the other prominent families, she knew that those loyal to the dark lord would condemn her, first chance they got.

So, they were hidden under their bed for right now. Not under any spells but in a simple lock box. Of course, it helped that the house elves could magic it away at any time to protect her as was her order.

Sighing, she arrived and began to cook dinner and hopes that this plan of theirs works out.

Okay I wanted to go into the last bits of relationships to their chosen paths. Within the next few chapters, Sasuke and Sirius's journey begins. More Akatsuki is coming up as well as more events with Slugworth.
