Few things have truly tested Shisui's composure when wearing the porcelain Karasu mask but this…was one of them. His fellows are in no better state, shoulders shaking as they take in the scene unfolding below them. Little Asuka-chan is staring, dead-eyed, into nothing and doing her best to pretend she doesn't know the little Hyuuga heir has picked up a stalking hobby. It's only more amusing now that he's had an excuse to know her in person after the first time Sasuke dragged her to the compound. But there are consequences to introducing himself outside of the mask.

The amusement is impossible to stifle, and it must do something to his chakra for all that he has it under control, because after the next wave that he pushes down she glances at him with a dark look. That only makes it worse, which darkens her scowl further. Naruto is the one to notice her glaring at nothing, elbowing her.

"Asuka?"

She elbows him right back. "What?"

"What did the trees do?"

She doesn't stop glaring, "They know what they did."

For some reason, the small boy takes that as an actual answer. Asuka seems just as confused as the Anbu operatives by this when he shrugs and goes back to throwing leaves at Sasuke. With them distracted she sits in the shade, twitching every time Hinata draws closer or changes her 'hiding place' to get a better visual without the dojutsu. The hidden nin are watching eagerly, taking their gossip fodder where they can.

Hinata is barely hidden behind a bush by the time Asuka loses her patience. She throws herself physically into the middle of the altercation between the two boys, taking no sides and no prisoners as she does. She visibly relaxes when the Hyuuga Heir finally retreats, slumping across the pile of defeated children she'd created. Both boys slump as well, relieved the battle is over.

The Koi masked nin considers warning Hinata, she is the Heir to his clan…but he consoles himself that holding back the information isn't selfish so he can watch the show. No, no, it's simply keeping Anbu secrets. Yes, of course. Operational security, that's it, not the amount of money he has placed on betting how long it will take little Asuka to lose it completely and confront her. Of course not, that would be unprofessional.
