The glee club is getting ready for invitationals.
Music room:
In the music room, the glee club was standing together. Will press play on his phone, turning the speaker that is on the piano, and start playing music. The team started singing while slapping their right hip.
Boys:
Duh, Duh, Duh
Girls:
Dah, dah, dah, dah
A high note played, making the group hold their right arms up, form a fist, and set their fist down slowly. Finn walked up, using one crutch, and started singing
Finn:
A singer in a smokey room
Rachel walked up and started singing herself as the others continued singing background
Rachel:
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
Finn and rachel:
For a smile, they can share the night
Rachel and finn put their left arms on their right shoulders and started twirling each other around as the others started singing with them
Finn and rachel:
It goes on and on and on and on
All:

Matt, Mike, and brittany stood in the back and started doing a dance routine together, making Will smile. Santana, tina, and quinn walked to the left side of the room and twirled around while puck, finn, and kurt walked up and gave them a high five

Santana and rachel shared a look before singing as they walked up forward with rory, mercedes, puck, and quinn

Rachel ended with a high note just when Will stopped the music. He clapped his hands before saying. "guys, great job". Mercedes scoff before say "we know that. We sang this song already and we killed it"
Kurt: i agree. My brother killed it
Finn smiled at kurt. Will says "it's not just the song. You all sang in a group together. At first this group started with six of you. But New Direction grew bigger. And i am happy to see how close you all gotten together"
Tina: s-so are we ready?
Artie: for sectionals?
Will held ups his hands and says. "woah, woah. We still have a long way for sectionals, but we have something to focus on". Will walked up to the whiteboard, grabbed a marker and removed the cap before he wrote a single word on the whiteboard. "invitationals" and drew a line under it. Rachel ask "what's invitationals?"
Will turned around and says. "it's like a small tournament. The top three head to sectionals". Rachel says "so we have to compete in a competition to get in the competition?". Will nodded. "don't worry. I can tell your all nervous. I was nervous when i headed to nationals back when i was a student. But the fear made me ready for nationals. And we won". Rachel slowly nodded
Will: invitationals is in saturday so be ready
Rachel looks nervous and says "t-this saturday". Will nodded. "be ready everyone". Mercedes ask "what about clothes?". Will says "i got that taken care of. You just take care of the singing and the choreography"
Figgins office:
In figgins office, Will was sitting infront of figgins as he was writing in his notebook. "I'm not asking for most of the money. I just need enough for a bus to take us to invitationals and a tailor for the club uniforms". Figgins sigh before saying. "william. You know that i love what your doing for the club. But it's not possible"
Will makes a confused expression. "what are you talking about?". Figgins sighs. "we don't have enough money to help glee for invitationals". Will says "that's impossible. The school is never out of money. Where did the money go?". Figgins sighed. "i had no choice, william"
Now in sue office, she was steaming a couple of new cheerio uniforms just as her door opened up, and Will walked in. "you kidding me". Sue starts talking while not looking at him and continued steaming the uniforms. "i never joke, Will. Also i appreciate if you knock". Will says "you took the rest of the money for cheerio uniforms. The cheerios don't need extra uniforms".
Sue: Yes they do, Will. And also some extra props for nationals
Will: you just spend the money so New Directions won't have any
Sue smirked as she turned off her steamer and set it down on her desk before sitting down behind her desk. "oh you know me so well. No matter what you do, the cheerios always comes first. They're the reason the school runs smoothly and the school board will do anything they can to make us happy"
Will: this is not gonna effect us. We're still going to sectionals
Sue: well how are you gonna get to invitationals without money
Will sigh while looking around with a frustrated expression
Music room:
Will was standing infront of the glee team. "so that's it, we're not going to invitationals?". Will says "don't worry. This will not effect us. We will find a way to get there"
Quinn: I'm sorry mr schuester. I didn't realize sue did this
Will: not your fault. Sue's been up our butts to take us down. But that's notvgonna happen
Mercedes: what are we supposed to do?
Will: I'll figure something out
Rachel slowly stand up and says "wait. What if we can raise the money.". Will shook his head "guys. You need to rehearse for invitationals". Rachel says "We rehearse nonstop. We can take sometime off to raise the money. I am the captain of the glee club, i can't let this happen. Let us do it". Will sigh before saying. "are you guys up for it". The other glee club nodded. Santana says "we can think of something"
Will: ok. I'm trusting you
Will walked out of the music room. Rachel says "ok. I got pumped, i have no idea how we are supposed to raise the money". Santana stood up and says "we can think of something"
Kurt: we can think together
Quinn nodded before saying. "we can talk about it tonight. At your house". Rachel tried to talk, but her voice is stuck in her voice for a few seconds until she cough and started talking. "u-u-uh. M-my dads are fumigating our house. We are staying in a motel". santana, with confusion says "we can visit at your motel room". Rachel says "n-n-no, there's not enough room". Santana stares at rachel before saying. "it's fine. We can meet at my house".
Rachel: perfect. Glee meeting at santana house at 7
The glee club nodded before standing up and walked out of the music room. Rory ask brittany. "do you know where she lives?". Brittany nodded. Tina push artie out of the room and says "i-i have never b-been invited t-to s-santana house". Matt told the two "you guys need a ride?". Tina and artie nodded.
Rachel walked out of the music room, not knowing santana was staring at her. Rachel walked up to her locker and started putting in her combination until sue walked up and says "the glee captain". Rachel sugh as she opened her helmet and backpack. "what do you want, coach sylvester?"
Sue: I'm just checking on my students
Rachel scoff as she closed her locker and started walking away "no, I'm serious" sue says as she follows Rachel to the doors. "i was just asking. Considering your group gonna head off to invitationals, you should be nervous"
Rachel: why should i be nervous?
Sue: you know what, your right. Your the glee captain, so you should be ready to sing to an actual crowd with judges. That'll make a decision for the future of glee. If that was me, i might have choke. But not you, you'll be happy to sing infront of complete strangers. The worse case scenario, you'll choke, loose invitationals and shut down the glee club, and your friends will be ashamed. Santana, quinn, that gay kid. I won't be surprised if they stop talking to you
Rachel slowly looked down as sue walked away with a smile on her face. "mental manipulation, works every time" she whispers. Rachel just stood by the doors while looking down with a nervous expression as she walked through the front doors
Santana house:
In the lopez living room. Miguel was sitting on the couch while playing with a couple of race cars. Antonio walk downstairs and says, "miguel, guarda tus juguetes. Were going to see your brother". Miguel stood up and ran upstairs with his cars. Maria walked out of her bedroom and caught her youngest child and says "did you brush your teeth". Miguel says "i don't want to brush my teeth"
Maria: go brush
Maria push miguel toward the bathroom just as santana came out. "sorry, mama i can't come tonight". Maria says "do not worry. Glee is very important to you. Andy will understand"
Maria and santana walked downstairs just when the doorbell rung. Maria opened the door and smiled, seeing rachel, holding her helmet and a box. "hi. Sorry I'm tardy"
Santana: tardy? you are 15 minutes early, the first one here and your the only one with a bike
Rachel: i ride fast and always come early
Rachel walked in the house "my dads told me to start early on everything. Beside the motel my dads are staying at is very close". Santana grabbed her helmet and says "ok, a little more information then i needed. You want something to drink". Antonio came out of the living room and stood beside maria as she was watching the two
Rachel: just water if you have it
Santana chuckled before walking in the kitchen. Rachel turned around antonio and maria and says "my dads also taught me to not show up without something so i got these". Maria grabbed the box and opened it up, revealing six cupcakes. Three with white frosting while the other three have brown frosting. "i didn't know what you all like".
Antonio: that's sweet, rachel
Maria: your a very thoughtful girl
Santana came out of the kitchen and hands rachel a bottle of water. "Ok, guys shouldn't you be at prison?". Maria quickly nodded. "y-yes. That's right. Miguel!". Miguel ran downstairs and past rachel. "hi". Rachel giggled while looking at miguel. Antonio and maria walked out the front door. Antonio says "did you caught the vibes". Maria nodded with a smile. "yup". Antonio smiled. "good. It wasn't just me"
Rachel sat down in the living room while taking a sip of her water. Santana walked up and says. "gracias a Dios. Glad my parent's are gone for the night". Rachel says "so, why are they going to prison?". Santana shot a glare at rachel. "they're gonna visit my brother"
Rachel: Rafael?
Santana giggled before sitting down. "I have a third brother. Andre, we call him andy. He was caught drag racing illegally for money. For college tuition". Rachel nodded. "h-how did your family take it?". Santana says "i think your talking about something else"
Rachel: did you tell them?
Santana shook her head. "I'm still not ready to tell them. I'm just glad things are ok with us". Rachel smiled. "yeah, me too". Rachel chug the entire water, making santana look at her with a suspicious expression. "you ok?". Rachel quickly nodded. "yeah. Why?".
Santana: you just seem, nervous about something
Rachel: oh no, i just have alot in my plate
Santana slowly nodded until a knock was heard. She stood up and walked toward her front door and opened it up, revealing puck and brittany. "yo, lopez. Let's get this party started". Santana smirked. "ha ha. My dad took the keys to the liquor cabinet after i said you were coming". Puck chuckled before walking in with brittany
10 minutes later, the entire glee club were sitting in santana living room. Brittany was sitting on rory lap with her arms around his neck. Mike came out of the kitchen while eating a popsicle. Santana notice and says "really?". Mike shrugged. "hey, you got alot back there"
Santana shook her head. "rach, it's your meeting. Go ahead". Rachel stood up and walk up infront of her team and says "ok. Mr schuester gave us permission to raise the money ourselves to head to invitationals. So. Anyone got ideas"
Puck: i have my own pool cleaning business, been cleaning pools for over a year
Puck took out a stack of cash from his pocket and dropped it on santana table, making rachel clapped her hands. "yes, that's a start. I also brought money. I have". Rachel took out a couple bucks. "$31 dollars. It was 46, but i brought cupcakes for santana family". Rachel set her money ontop of puck's
Brittany: so are we ready now?
Puck: not even close
Rachel: Look, i know we can figure out the money situation. It's not that much
Artie: but we're kids in ohio
Rachel nodded. "this is for sectionals. We gotta figure something out. We're a team, we can find a way. If we all do our part, we can get to invitationals".
Quinn looks at santana and says. "me and santana thought of something". Rachel smiled "great, what is it?"
The next day:
In the school parking lot. A large line of cars was made in the parking lot. The cars were in front of a cheerleading car wash, with a banner that says "Support glee club". Quinn, santana, and brittany walked up, just wearing a bikini top, and their cheerio short skirts. Quinn says, "Thank god the perv that made these skirts." Santana and brittany smiled as she says. "Let's do this." Brittany held up a sponge and squeezed it, letting the soap fall to the ground
Rachel and Will were watching the car wash. "At least they're contributing to the glee." Rachel slowly nodded. She noticed santana climbing on one of the car hoods and started wiping the windshield with a sponge, while two men were staring at her from behind. Santana turn her head and smiled before lifting the sponge up in the air and squeeze it, letting the water fell on her face and chest, making rachel blush and did a small whine, earning Will attention. "You ok?".
Rachel: U-uh-uh, yeah, I'm fine. I gotta go check the other's
Rachel walked into the school as Will made a confused expression until emma walked up, with her purse. "Hey. Looks like the glee club is working on the money"
Will: Yeah. Not the way i would do it, but they're doing it. Hey, do you think everything alright with rachel? She seems off the last couple of days
Emma: I'm sure she's nervous about sectionals. I mean, how could you all not. Sectionals will tell us if New Direction will still be available
Will says. "i keep telling them, their gonna do fine, but they don't have the confidence." Emma says, "Maybe they need to see the competition. What's your competition anyway?". Will turned to look at emma and says, "carmel high. Their glee club, vocal adrenaline, is the three year champions of regionals"
Emma: That's just a couple miles away. You can check out the competition if you want
Will slowly nodded while messaging his neck. "Huh, that's not a bad idea. Ok. I'll go after school. "
Music room:
Rachel was writing numbers on the whiteboard. "ok, we got $25 from puck and his pool cleaning business. My $31 that all of you made fun of. $70 from santana, quinn, and brittany. Inappropriately. And the money from finn when he opened up his kissing booth. " Rachel turned around to look at the glee club, sitting on the bleachers. "What about the rest of you?"
Matt: i did some arm wrestling during lunch
During lunchtime. Matt was arm wrestling with a couple of students. He won each one. And each student that lost hands him five dollars each, making Matt smile. Matt won an arm wrestle match with karofsky. But he lost one match from an obese girl, with glasses over her eyes. Wearing a grey jacket over her black t-shirt. And sweatpants to complete the look. The obese woman slammed matt arm on the table, making the crowd cheer as matt started messaging his arm
Matt took out some money and says "after that, i just gave up. I got $46". Rachel nodded "that's good. Anything counts". Rachel started adding the money. "ok. We got. Ok, it's. Uhh. Help". Artie rolled up and says "$172". Rachel sigh as she closed the marker with the cap. "thanks. I just have a hard time doing math without a calculator"
Mike: do we have enough, now?
Rachel: we're not even close
The group started talking together with frustration. Rachel says "guys, c'mon. It's not that bad. We still have a couple more days to figure out the money. We just need to think outside of the box. I am not gonna let this happen, i am not gonna fail you guys". Santana and quinn shared a look before looking at rachel, who was looking at her group with a nervous expression. "uh. I was a little off track there. Just. Think of something". Rachel walked out of the music room as the others slowly stand up and walked out of the room. Santana walked up to mercedes and says "jones. Do you think everything is ok with rachel?"
Mercedes: i don't know, we're not that close, why do you care?
Santana stood infront of mercedes and says "look. It's obvious you don't trust me or the other cheerios because of sue. But i care about glee. And i look after my team, i have this feeling something wrong with rachel. You saw her in the meeting". Mercedes sigh. "i admit, she was not her normal self. But that's what happens when your a captain of a club". Mercedes walked away as santana took a deep breath before walking away
At another high school, called, carmel high. Will's car pulled into the parking lot and parked at an empty spot. Will looked at the school before taking a deep breath and grabbed his keys, and climb out of his car. Will walked through the front doors and walked through the school, passing a couple of students. Be touch one student shoulder and ask. "uhh, where's the auditorium?". The student pointed at a door across the hallway
Will walked through the auditorium doors to see a group of students standing on the stage, in a line while a young woman, with long brown hair, wearing a purple blouse, and jeans on. She also has a brown bracelet around her left wrist. The woman is currently sitting behind her desk that's in the middle of the auditorium. She yelled out "FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, AND EIGHT". The group of kids started practicing their routine, making the woman nodded as the music picked up. One girl walked up and started singing
Girl:
I see you drivin' 'round town with the guy I love
And I'm like, "Forget you!"
All:
Oo, oo, ooo!
All the boys stood in a line together as the girls walked through them and did a cartwheel toward the edge of the stage, the girls stopped and walk backwards to the boys
Girl:
I guess the change in my pocket wasn't enough
I'm like, "Forget you and forget him too!"
The girl walked back to the steps on the stage and turn her head to look at the empty seats as each girl grabbed a boy and started dancing with them
Girl:
I said, if I was richer, I'd still be with ya
Ha, now ain't that some shh—?
All:
Ain't that some shh-
will walked up with an shock expression, watching the group perform. The Woman turn her head and notice Will standing by the door. She yelled out. "ENOUGH". The music stopped and the kids stood in their place. "enough for today. Go home". The glee kids walked off stage as the woman stood up from her seat. "can i help you?"
Will: sorry. I just wanted to check out your glee club
Woman: are you a teacher?
Will: No, i teach spanish at McKinley high
The woman smiled before grabbing her notebook and says "came to see the competition. Smart move". Will says "that was, actually amazing". The woman nodded "well we are three time champions. And my lead singer was out today"
Will: i never seen you guys perform
Woman: your not nervous, are you?
Will: N-no. I'm not
The woman walked toward Will and says "it's just a friendly competition between two schools. I'm sure your glee kids will do fine. See you in invitationals". Will nodded before noticing her hand and he shook it. "uhh. I'm Will schuester, by the way". The woman says "shelby Corcoran". Shelby walked out of the auditorium as Will made a nervous expression
McKinley high:
In the girls bathroom, emma walked in and headed toward a stall until she notice rachel standing infront of the sink, and just staring at herself in the mirror. "oh, hey rachel, i didn't notice you there. What are you doing?"
Rachel: just looking for a good idea. Having a hard time
Emma walked up and stood beside rachel. "it's natural to be nervous". Rachel says "I'm not nervous. It's just, how are we supposed to head to sectionals when we can't even get enough money for invitationals? and people are counting on me". Emma put her hand on rachel shoulder. "hey. You'll figure the money out"
Rachel: in four days. It's not enough time
Emma: hey. I got an idea. My sister is in town, and she's opening a mattress shop. She is the owner of mattress land. The new store doing a commercial and she could really use the help
Rachel looks at emma with an hopeful expression. "r-really, can we get paid?". Emma nodded with a smile. "yup. I can call her now, if you want". Rachel quickly nodded "yeah, please". Emma giggled
At an mattress shop, rachel was walking toward the front doors with the glee club following her. Mercedes ask "what are we doing here?". Rory says "oh, are we getting a mattress for the music room"
Mike: like that room isn't cramp enough
Rachel: No. I have figured out our money trouble. We are shooting a commercial!
The team made a shock expression. Artie says "wait. An actual commercial". "with cameras and everything" brittany asked. Rachel nodded "yes. Emma told me her sister owns a set of retail stores. That includes mattress land. She got us an audition for the commercial".
Mercedes: No way
Kurt: i am glad i put my makeup on before we came here
Santana: i knew you'll figure out a way
Rachel: C'mon. Let's go
The group walked in the mattress store. Seeing large mattresses stacked together in the middle of the room with work light stand around the area. A couple of camera were sitting infront of the mattresses. A director was removing the cover from the camera while a worker was adjusting a light fixer. A woman with black hair, wearing a purple tank top and jeans. The woman walked up to the kids and says "sorry, this is a close set. Mattress land isn't opening"
Rachel: No. We are here to see a terri del monica
Woman: That's me. And who are you?
Rachel: Rachel berry and we are New Direction
Terri made a surprise expression. "oh, your the glee kids my sister was talking about. Right on time. We are getting ready to shoot. Just head to the back and change, the costumes are there for you".
Puck: Question. Does the costumes show my muscles, because the ladies need to know
Quinn slapped puck on the shoulder before walking through the store with the rest of the club and walked into the bathroom
In the girls room, the girls were putting on some blue pajamas. Tina says "i-i can't believe we're a-actually doing this. I-i-im so excited". Quinn looks at rachel as she was buttoning her pajamas shirt. "But are we breaking any rules for invitationals?"
Rachel: For Sectionals. Not invitationals, we are safe. I looked through the rules twice
Rachel removed her sweater and button shirt that was under her sweater, gaining santana attention. She took a moment to stare at rachel until she put on her pajama shirt. Santana quickly turned around to pull up her pants, not knowing tina and mercedes were watching santana with confusion
In the boys bathroom. The boys were getting ready. Puck pulled his arms through the sleeves and says "so much for showing my muscles". Rory adjust his pants before saying. "this is actually my first time in an american store. My foster parents just buy things online". Matt accidentally ripped his left sleeve and said. "ok. I think i need a bigger size". Mike laugh as he button his shirt
Kurt was helping finn by pulling his leg pants over his cast. "ok. There". Finn says "how am i supposed to perform with a broken leg?". Kurt says "don't worry, we are brothers and we're help you off of the mattresses".
The gang walked out of the room, with matt in a new pajama shirt. Terri notice the gang and says "Ok, you all look good. I gotta admit, this is the strangest group of kids I've seen". Rachel says "your not the first one to tell us that". Terri grabbed a couple of papers and handed each kid a sheet of paper. "ok. Here's the script you guys are gonna use. Take as long as you need to rehearse, since this is last minute". Rachel looked through the script before saying. "uhh. Mrs del monica, this looks good. But we are a glee club. We should perform like we usually do". Terri looks confused. "what do you have in mind?". Rachel looks at her team with a smile on her face
Later, the gang was standing on each end of the two large mattresses, standing in a line, except for artie who is sitting on one of the normal mattress that was sitting on the right side of the large right mattress. Each side of the mattress has a normal size mattress on each end except the center where the team is standing above. Music started playing through the store speakers and the group started singing. Terri snapped her fingers infront of the cameraman, signaling him to started rolling

Puck jumped off of the two mattresses and walked behind the mattress

Puck ran in and slid under the group legs and screamed "AHHHHH". Rachel jumped on the left mattress with santana, quinn, matt, finn, and tina. While brittany, rory, mike, mercedes, and kurt jumped on the right large mattress

Finn slowly stand up and stood on the normal mattress that is behind the left large mattress as kurt ran up and hands his crutch before jumping on the large mattress and started hopping with the other group. Santana stood on the two edges of the large mattress and started singing

Mercedes, quinn, tina, and brittany ran to the front normal mattress and lay themselves down while holding their chins up while looking at the camera. Terri was clapping her hands from the beat

Rachel ran under santana legs and put her hands on the mattress and kicked her leg in the air just as the girls climb off of the front mattresses and ran around the set
Rachel:

Puck ran through santana legs and lifted rachel up to the front mattress. Mike and kurt rolled themselves over the two large mattress while matt and finn jumped on the side matresses and started punching the air
Puck and rachel:
You've got to roll with the punches to get to what's real
Finn started singing himself as he was helped down on the side matress and walked through the center
Finn:
Oh can't you see me standing here I got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen
Tina, quinn and brittany ran through the center and started singing back-up
Tina, quinn, and brittany:

Finn sat down on the left front mattress

Each member jumped on the mattresses and started hopping in the air. Santana and brittany did a backflip and landed on their backs
Rachel:
Ah, might as well jump
All:

Terri jumped herself while watching the group perform
Rachel:
Might as well jump
Rory and kurt did a tumbleroll on the mattress and rolled themselves off of the mattress and landed on the front mattress
Rachel:
Go ahead and jump
All:

The group rolled themselves off of the mattresses and ran through the center while smiling at the camera
Rachel:
Go ahead and jump
Puck and mike did a front flip on the large mattresses
Santana:
Yeah oh yeah yeah
Tina and matt climb on the left large mattress and jumped on the right one while santana and mercedes jumped to the left mattress
Rachel:
Might as well jump
All:

Rachel and finn stood on the edge of the large mattress and fell backwards on the mattress
Puck lifted artie off of his wheelchair and set him down on the left large mattress. Santana and matt started hopping up and down, making artie jump in the air and fell back on the mattress
Rachel:
Go ahead and jump
Girls:
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba da
Rachel:
Might as well jump
Rory and brittany were jumping together in the back mattress before jumping on the large mattress and did a cartwheel before landing on their backs
All:
jump!
Santana and rachel ran up to the front matress and lay down while finn and kurt lay behind them. Puck, mike, matt, and rory held themselves over the edge of the two large mattress and pretended to do push ups
All:
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba da ba
Quinn and brittany lay themselves on the edge of the large mattress. Puck and rory lay themselves behind quinn and brittany while mercedes and matt lay together on the side mattress, same with tina and mike
All:
Go ahead and jump, jump, jump, and jump
Terri smiled before saying. "COME ON DOWN TO MATTRESS LAND!". The entire club yelled out. "COME ON DOWN TO MATTRESS LAND!!!" with a smile on their face
The cameraman says "and we're clear". Before turning off the camera. The group climb off of the mattresses and started cheering for each other. Terri walked up while holding a stack of money in her hands and says "you guys are worth every penny. You have a future in show business. Here". Terri handed the money to rachel, making her smile. "Guys. We got enough money". The group cheered together, making terri smile. Mercedes yelled out "WE'RE GOING TO SECTIONALS". Rachel giggled before making a nervous expression
McKinley high:
In the music room, Rachel was counting the money to Will. "we have made fifteen hundred dollars. That's more then enough". Will smiled before saying. "it's enough for sectionals, rachel. You better get ready. Cause i took a look on the competition"
Rachel: you did
Will: it's vocal adrenaline. I couldn't believe how good their were. In order for us to win. We need to take it up a notch. I chose our setlist and the songs could impress the judges
Rachel, more nervous ask. "how good are vocal adrenaline?". Will says. "let's just say they surprised me. But with you, i think we have a chance". Will walked away as rachel looked around with a nervous expression. "i can do it. I can do it, don't screw up. Your not gonna screw up"
Saturday:
In the school parking lot, a mini-van pulled up to a parking space. Santana is in the passenger seat, she was holding a bag in her lap. She looked out the window, seeing her team standing together. "you nervous". Santana turn her head to look at her dad. "no. I got this". Santana heard a ringing noise, making her look ahead to see rachel on her bike, riding up toward her friends. Santana smiled before saying "thanks for the ride, dad". As she climb out of the car. Antonio drove away as santana walked up toward rachel, who was chaining her bike. "you gotta think of a different ride". Rachel giggled before saying. "The wind helps me relax"
Santana: relax? Berry, are you sure you ok?
Rachel removed her helmet before saying. "y-y-yeah, i am. This is really big for us". Santana stares at rachel until a bus pulled up beside the group and the doors opened up, revealing Will. "Who's ready for invitationals!?". The group cheered before walking in the bus as the handicapped door opened up and the wheelchair lift slowly came down for artie. Santana says "let's go". santana walked up to the bus as rachel made another nervous expression before walking up toward the bus
The gang made it to the invitationals competition. The club is currently in one of the small dressing room. Rachel was looking out the door, seeing a boy glee club was practicing their routine, clapping their hands together as the lead singer walked by them and started singing

Mercedes stood beside rachel and scoff. "we are so much better then them". Mercedes walked back in the room as rachel slowly closed the door. "there is so much competition at these things"
Kurt was buttoning up a jacket and says "what do you expect. It's a competition to get into sectionals". Will walked by and says "ok, you guys ready?. Everyone rehearse the songs". Everyone nodded. "matt, remember a High C". Matt nodded as he put on his shirt. "ok, we're going on very soon". A knock was heard, Making Will walked up and opened the door, revealing a man in a suit. "hey. Mr schuester. vocal adrenaline is starting now, but you'll be starting next"
Will: thank you
Will closed the door and look at the group. "ok, guys. I'm going to be honest, i watch vocal adrenaline performing a couple of days ago. And i got a little nervous, but i believe in you guys. You can do this". Rachel stayed in the same area she was standing at. Will walked up to her and ask. "rach. You gotta get ready". Rachel says "Mr. schuester, i don't think i can go out there". The glee club stopped what they were doing and turn their heads to look at rachel
Will: what?
Rachel: mr schuester. Their is so many people out there. I just can't
Rachel turned around and walked out of the dressing room. Making the group look confused. "what just happened?". Rory asked. Quinn says "mr schuester, you can't let rachel just walk out"
Mercedes: yeah. Me and her didn't got along at first, but she can sing
Will: I'll go talk to her
Santana stood up and says "wait. I'll talk to her". Santana walked out of the dressing room and started looking around for rachel until she look down to see a pink rubber bracelet. She kneel down to grab the bracelet and whispers. "this has to be berry" before turning her head and notice the girls bathroom. She walked in to see rachel leaning by the sink. Rachel look up to see santana. "how'd you find me?". Santana held up the bracelet before throwing it at rachel, who caught it. "what's with you? you've been weird all week and then you quit when we are about to audition for sectionals, which is the only way that'll tell us that New Direction has a future. And now your bailing on us. This club wouldn't exist if it wasn't for you"
Rachel: Santana. I'm scared. We're performing infront of an actual audience
Santana: it's just a normal crowd. We perform infront of the entire school, you perform alone too
Rachel: it's easy when it's just for fun. But people are counting on me to do good tonight. It's the only way we can get into sectionals. The only way for the club to stay active. If i choke, New Direction is over
Santana walked up to rachel and grabbed her hands. "berry. You shouldn't stress yourself like this. You sing so good. That voice of yours is amazing. If they don't pick us, their idiots. But that fear shouldn't stop you for doing something you love. You gotta face your fear and fight it". Rachel looked down before whispering. "but this is our chance". Santana says "they'll be other chances for New Direction. I don't care if they disband us. We'll find a way. I promise you that". Rachel smiled before giving santana a hug. Making her blush while she return the hug
Santana: ok. You ready to sing?
Rachel smiled and nodded
In the theater room. Will was walking down the steps until he found his row, and walked over the people who were already sitting and sat down on one of the chairs as the lights dim down. He notice shelby sitting three rows down to him. An announcer walked up with a mic on his hands and started speaking through it. "ladies and gentlemen .We have a new group of kids from McKinley high school. New Direction"
The audience started to clap just as the curtains opened up, revealing the glee club standing on a set of bleachers. The group are wearing dressed black pants, blue button sleeve shirts, and black ties. The music started playing through the speakers, and the group started singing
All:

A piano started to play, and the boys twirled to the left. Rachel walked down from the bleachers and started singing, making shelby look shock while looking at her
Rachel:

Santana walked up and stood beside rachel, and started singing as the group was shaking their shoulders

The music started to fade as the audience started to clap. The group ran back on the bleachers, except rachel, who stood at the end of the stage. Different music started playing theough the speakers and the group started moving from the beat. Rachel walked through the stage and started singing

The group walked off of the bleachers as the boys and the girls separated from each other ad rachel walked up to the center

The group started dancing from the beat before forming a line and walked past each other

The group bow their heads as the lights go out, making the audience stand up and started cheering. Will walked around the people and ran toward the stage while shelby continued sitting in her seat
The glee club ran off stage and started clapping each other. Will walked up and says "YOU GUYS KILLED IT. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU ALL". Will gave each member a hug. Rachel walked up toward santana and says "santana, thank you"
Santana: that was all you. I just gave you a push
Santana and rachel hugged each other with a smiled
Back in McKinley high, the glee club were in the music room, celebrating, Will pushed a cart in the room, holding a couple of slushies. "here we are guys. Since you all are under-age. Our celebration is slushies. Don't worry, your not getting some in the face". Each member laugh as they took a cup and started drinking
Will: guys. I just wanna say, whatever happens. Whether we are in sectionals or not. I am proud on what you all did during invitationals
Rachel: i actually like to thank santana. For helping me shake my fear on rejection. I was getting cold feet before our performance
Mercedes: Yeah, we kinda knew that when you just walk out of the dressing room
Kurt took a sip of his slushie before saying. "this is way better than it being thrown in my face". Puck says "i can fix them". Finn held puck back as the two started laughing
A knock was heard, making Will turn around to see principal figgins, standing by the doorframe, holding an envelope in his hands "oh, principal figgins. Is there a problem?". Figgins walked up and says "No, william. I wanted to personally deliver this to you". Will set his slushie back on the cart before grabbing the envelope, he look up at the club, seeing nervous expression on each kid. Will slowly opened the envelope and pulled out a note, and he started reading for a minute before looking at the group
Rachel: well?
Will smiled and says "we're in. We are in sectionals!!!". The glee club cheered and hugged each other. Puck laugh as he dumped some slushied on mike head, making him laugh.
Tina sat on artie lap and gave him a hug, accidentally spilling her slushie on the ground
Brittany jumped on the cart and started dancing, making rory cheered
Finn and kurt hugged each other before he dropped some slushie on finn back, making him gasp and pulled away, and then he throw slushie in his brother face
Mercedes and matt shared a hug until santana threw her slushie in matt back, making him turn around and threw his slushie in santana face, making mercedes laugh
Figgins was laughing at the group until Will started talking. "i have never seen these kids happy getting slushied before". Figgins says "congratulations, William. I know you won't let us down. Have fun. Oh and your cleaning all this up". Figgins walked away as Will nodded "i expected that".
Puck has a face full of slushied by brittany, making her laugh until artie rolled up and threw his slushie at brittany chest, making the two laugh
Rachel walked up to Will with her face covered in orange slushied. "Sorry about the floor. It's just, today was a good day". Will nodded. "it was. You all better have fun right now, starting tomorrow. We have work to do for sectionals". The entire group is covered in slushied, looked at each other before throwing the remaining slushies all over Will, making everybody laugh as he wiped the ice out of his eyes. "Very funny, guys"
Kurt: Now you know how it feels
Rachel laugh until she grabbed the acceptance letter from Will and stares at it for a minute. "We did it" she whispers
I hope this one was good. New Direction now has to focus their energy on sectionals and if they loose, the club is disbanded.
I also had to add the jump song because that was my favorite performance they did on the show
