Jealousy
Akane watched Ranma leave. He was furious because she gave the dish she cooked to Ryoga. After all, he had always enjoyed her cooking, while Ranma kept criticizing her. But she secretly hoped to annoy Ranma by giving what she had cooked to Ryoga.
Yet, she could not help smiling. Ranma was jealous. Every time a boy was a little too close to her, it was always the same thing.
In fact, she also reacted this way when Shampoo, Ukyo or Kodachi were a little too close to him. She was jealous and she could not help that feeling. Because she liked him. No, it was stronger than that, she loved him. And when she saw that Ranma was jealous, her heart warmed.
Maybe he felt the same too. And despite him saying otherwise, she liked to think he loved her too. The fact that he was jealous of Ryoga, Kuno or another boy did not bother her. On the contrary. It was his way of expressing his feelings. As she did.
