Standard Episode 4 : Sora's Secret part 2
Hey guys, it's time to attack the second part of Sora's duel against Yuto with Yuya joining himself into the fray.

In Central Park, the three duelists were eyeing each other as they were ready to proceed with the duel, Yuya couldn't let that man injure his friend any further.
"I will not let you hurt my friend, I DRAW!" yelled out the tomato-haired boy as he drew his six cards "I put my Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum scales!"
Sora widened his eyes, his friend was ready to summon a powerful Pendulum monster on his first turn.
The two magicians appeared on the field in their respectives rays of light.
"Thanks to them, I can summon level 2 to level 7 monsters, I activate the Pendulum Summon!" said Yuya as his crystal blue pendant begins to glow and a giant hologram of a pendulum appeared on the field "Swing, pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the aether! Appear now, with your wondrous and dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"
A red dragon surrounded by a white sliver armor appeared on the field, roaring dramatically behind Yuya (A:2500/D:2000).
"Yup, looks like your time is almost up buddy, when Yuya summons Odd-Eyes, that means that you're gonna lose pal" taunted Sora until he heard Yuya gasping for air as he held his hand on his chest to which that image caused the blue-haired boy to be confused.
"W-w-what is happening? I've never felt my body becoming so hot when I summon Odd-Eyes" thought Yuya until he watched Yuto experiencing the same feeling as he hold his hand on his chest although he tried to keep his composure on check as he didn't want to lose this duel.
Meanwhile, Odd-Eyes and Dark Rebellion begins to roar at each other while a powerful aura engulf both monsters, a blue aura surronded Dark Rebellion while a red one is surrounding Odd-Eyes.
"A-a-all right, Odd-Eyes, attack Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon!" ordered the tomato-haired boy as this command caused Yuto to be a bit surprised, why would he order his monster to attack Dark Rebellion if the two monster have the same amount of Attack Points? Bewildred by the attempt, the dark duelist decided to take a small caution against the monster.
"Better take my reservations, I activate my Trap card: Phantom Knights' Fog Blade!" said Yuto as a omnious fog appeared on the field, engulfing it "I don't know what was your plan but with this card, I negate your attack and I canceled your monster's effects, therefore, it can no longer attack nor defend itself but do know that I can't target it either".
But outside of the attack, a feeling struck Sora as he realized why Yuto had willingly took the attack of Frightfur Bear earlier: he wanted Sora to destroy his Phantom Knights of Break Sword so that he could XYZ summon again with the revived monsters, however, he didn't have the chance to yell it out at Yuto as Yuya has planned something in case Yuto would negate his attack.
"You may have negated my Odd-Eyes attack but I can reverse the tide, you see, if my Timegazer Magician is used as a Pendulum monster, I can use his Pendulum effect to negate a card that target another Pendulum monster and I can re-set it on the field, Timegazer Magician, INVERSE GEARWISE!" said Yuya as Timegazer Magician reverse time so that Yuto's Trap card re-set itself on the field "how about that?"
"Good but not good enough, I activate another trap, Booby Trap E!" said the dark duelist as a trap card showing the letter E appeared on the field "with this, I can reveal one of my set cards and it gains it's ability meaning that your Odd-eyes would not gain a chance to strike".
The sprite of Phantom Knights Fog Blade impressed itself with Booby Trap E, meaning that it has gained its effect to which Yuya gritted his teeth, he has cheered way too quickly, his monster cannot attack Dark Rebellion as long as Booby Trap E is on the field.
"Damn! In that case, I end my turn" sadly said the tomato-haired boy to which he is suddenly pushed away by Sora as he wants a piece of the action.
"All right, move out of the way, that dirty bastard is mine and I shall not let him make fun of me again!" raged out Sora.
"Sora, please, stop! You are no condition to duel, let me handle this!" pleaded Yuya.
"I won't not until I crushed my prey" said Sora to which his sentence caused the tomato-haired boy to be surprised.
"W-p-t-YOUR PREY? What are you talking about Sora?" asked Yuya as he was shocked of the choice of words that the blue-haired boy had used.
"Isn't that obvious? That guy is a runaway from his home and it is my job to take care of these...pests" said Sora as he took a lollipop from his pocket and took out a bite of it.
"We didn't run away and I would never surrender to a kid even if he is from the Fusion Dimension" let out Yuto to which his sentence caused Yuya to be even more surprised.
"Dimension?" gasped the tomato-haired boy.
"This guy is not from here, he is coming from the XYZ Dimension, a group of pests that my own place have defeated in battle, if I would lose to this guy, I would dishonor my home" said Sora "and that will never gonna happen, I am the top of the elite which is the reason why I have been sent here to beat down that guy so that I could honor my home with this victory".
Yuya couldn't think of any of this, he was completely lost, the Sora who was standing in front of him was not like the annoying kid that he knew about, he seems to be like another person, someone who is willing to crush his ennemis through dueling.
"And now, I will show you the extent of Duel Academy power! I draw!" yelled out Sora as he drew another card from his deck as Yuto prepared himself but Yuya was even more confused, what was that Duel Academy he was talking about? Is this was Sora's true school from the home he mentionned?
But suddenly, Sora's duel disk begins to glow and his screen shows the message "Duel close", this caused the blue-haired boy to gasp in horror as he realized what was going on.
"Oh crap, oh shit, NOT NOW! I CAN'T GO BACK NOW!" yelled Sora as he begins to dissapate into a blue light.
"SORA!" yelled Yuya as he tried to join his friend until he suddenly dissapears, leaving nothing behind him, the tomato-haired boy gasped as he watched the blue particles dissapêaring into the middle of the night, after a few moments, he turned his gaze at Yuto as he suspect him to be the one responsible for his friend's dissapearence "what did you do to him?"
"I didn't do anything, he returned in his own dimension, his home" calmely explained the dark duelist to which the tomato-haired boy begins to be annoyed, he wasn't believing Yuto.
"There's no way that's impossible there are others dimensions!" pointed out Yuya.
"Nothing is impossible about it, Sora came from the Fusion Dimension possibly to track us down, that kid was a duel soldier from Duel Academy" explained Yuto to which one of his terms caused Yuya to be shocked.
"Duel soldiers?"
"That is correct, these guys were trained in the art of dueling, not in order to make people smile and having fun, they used it as a instrument of war, they've invaded my dimension, my hometown, carded every person that they've come in contact with and they've transformed my dimension into a battlefield" explained Yuto.
"A battlefield?" asked Yuya who couldn't believed what he was hearing.
"That's right, my hometown, Heartland City was a peaceful place that was overflowing with smiles, but now, it became a wasteland where those who do not belong with Duel Academy are carded for their amusement" explained Yuto.
"What cruelty, Duel Monsters shouldn't be used for conquering other worlds" said a shocked Yuya.
"As long as they will exist, Duel Academy will never stop their conflicts around the universe" added the dark duelist to which Yuya wondered what he mean by that.
"So what, you mean that there is other worlds outside of mine and yours?" asked the tomato-haired boy.
"Yes, there is another one, they called it the Synchro Dimension" said Yuto as he recalled a memory where he fought against a mysterious duelist in that dimension, a man wearing a white biker outfit, that person had summoned a white dragon that eventually clashed with his Dark Rebellion but he decided to cast away that image so that he could focus his attention on Yuya as he wanted answers from him "and I've heard from Duel Academy that your dimension is called the Standard Dimension and that it seems to be considered as the center world in the universe".
These exchanges caused Yuya to be lost, he never thought that he will talk to someone about other dimensions, invasions...It was too much for him to handle all these things.
I can't believe that these things does exist, that kind of thing, it looks like that they came out from a sci-fi movie" said Yuya.
"I know that it must be quite a shock for you but it is the undeniable truth" reassured Yuto to which Yuya has finally made his decision, he removed his deck from his duel disk causing his monsters to leave the field and eventually ending the duel.
"Then, I have no more reasons to duel you, if you are saying that these guys are after us, my fight is not with you, still, I wanted to know something, why have you attacked Sylvio?" asked the tomato-haired boy.
"I've came here to retrieve Declan Akaba, the owner of the Leo Duel Institute, I believed that he was the one that could bring me and my comrade to the leader of Duel Academy but after dueling his student, I've realized that he has nothing to do with this, if he was in leagues with the Duel Academy's leader, he would have used a Fusion deck and it wasn't the case, what happened afterwards could have been avoided if that duelist didn't insist in continuing the duel" explained Yuto as he removed his own deck from his duel disk.
"Still, you got it all wrong, all of you, dueling isn't a tool that you can use for conflicts, the dueling I believe in is to bring smiles on people's faces, my father created the Entertainement duels for that purpose and I couldn't believe that you are using it for fighting against each other!" yelled out Yuya as Yuto closed his eyes upon hearing the tomato-haired boy sentence.
"If there will be a way to avoid this war, I could have taken that path, unfortunely, Duel Academy will not rest until they eliminate all the remaining members of the Resistance, my group and that's why we will fight until the end" said the dark duelist.
"Still, that doesn't make your actions more justified than them!" pointed out Yuya.
"For my part, I'm fighting in order to rescue the comrade who I cared most" replied Yuto to which Yuya has a hunch of who it was.
"That comrade, isn't that Lulu you've mentionned?" asked the tomato-haired boy.
"That's correct, Duel Academy has captured her while we were fighting against their Duel soldiers, me and my comrade, Shay Obsidian, we've came into this dimension not only to apprehend Declan Akaba but also, in order to find a clue about Lulu's whereabouts" explained the dark duelist.
"And where is your comrade now?" asked Yuya.
"He is chasing Declan's students so that he will draw him out, I've tried to make him follow that kid but he is stubborn and compared to me, he doesn't show any sign of mercy against anyone he consider as a enemy" explained Yuto.
"Then, we shall see him, tell him about..." was about to say Yuya until a roaring sound is heard in the distance, surprising both men who looked around them in order to see what was that mysterious sound.
Suddenly, a green sparkly light shines out to the side of both boys, blinding them full, Yuya tried to lower down his arms out of his eyes so that he could take a closer look and what he noticed surprised him.
It was a white motorcycle who was coming towards his direction, a horrified Yuya swirled out to the side in order to avoid the bike who continued it's course where it finally crashed into a streetlight, destroying it and causing the glass of the streetlight to fall down next to the rider who jumped at the sound of the glass breaking next to him.
"Holy shit, that was close!" said the rider as he removed his white helmet, the man was wearing a white jacket with red borders and yellow stripes on the sleeves, along with a white jumpsuit that has red, blue and yellow stripes that meet in the center in a chevron pattern, his outfit was complete with white gloves, shoulder, elbow and knee pads along with white, red and gray boots but what striked the most of the tomato-haired boy is that, outside of his yellow hair in the front and blue hair at the back, his face was the same as him and Yuto.
"H-h-he got the same face as me!" internally thought Yuya as he tried to process the mysterious rider face until he is pushed over by Yuto who seems to recognize the man.
"You! I should have expecting you to come here" said Yuto as he replace his deck in his duel disk much to Yuya's confusion.
"You know this guy?" asked the tomato-haired boy.
"Yes, I've faced him before, he is nothing more than a pawn of the Fusion Dimension who wants nothing more than wasting my time against him" replied Yuto to which the man begins to be angry as something in the dark duelist sentence bugs me up.
"I'm not a pawn of Fusion, I'm Yugo, Y-U-G-O! Besides, you shouldn't insult me while you didn't have the guts to finish our battle last time, this time, we're settle the score, right here, right now!" raged Yugo as he prepared his duel disk on his bike who activated itself on it.
"Fine, I shall end this quickly, step aside, there will be no need for pointless injuries" told Yuto as he pushed Yuya away to bring him into safety, the tomato-haired boy was incredelous about the fact that he is witnessing two persons who has the same face as him who are about to begin a duel against each other.
"Man, what the hell is going on around here?"
And done, compared to what the last review feared, I've decided to make the next chapter quickly because I got inspired to do the next chapter thanks to your kindly replies of the previous chapters (even though I couldn't still see my statics, LOL!)
Anyway, the next chapter will be the last part of Yuto's fateful duel and he will face Yugo in that duel, will the story will change compared to the anime or will he be defeated ? The answer will be in the next chapter.
