Part 2 time for the audition tapes, and I have another group of 4 contestants! I'm also deciding to write this on and off between each lot of tapes so that it's ready hopefully earlier than it could be before. Well, technically I'm starting the writing after finishing but before uploading episode 8 so technically Morgan and Tegan are being written a bit after they're eliminated, but still.
Review if you want, I'm happy to see them, it's going to be responded to, but there won't be any responses to the last episode here (not that there were any so far lol). That will come next time, for both the previous episode and this.
Morgan Daniels:
A handheld camera turns on, as Morgan walks along his bedroom, "What's up Total Drama losers? It's me, Morgan. Yeah, the Morgan Daniels. You probably know me from all the awards I've won." The man gestures at a wall of different trophies, medals and certificates around him.
Morgan grabs a trophy, "This here's from my weightlifting competition," he uses his other arm to flex his muscles. The guy smiles and says, "Look at me, I'm Hercules, Adonis and some other third guy all rolled into one, absolutely awesome package. How could you refuse me at this point?"
The Perfect Guy smiles smugly at the camera, "Plus I'm some smart genius too, see?" He then grabs a trophy with a bee on it. "Those second graders at the spelling bee didn't see me coming!" He then chuckles, "I can destroy all those losers with my massive brain. The only reason you wouldn't include me is 'cause it'd be too obvious I'm gonna win against those idiots, that's how obvious my victory is."
A computer monitor then turns on showing a document open on a template with the words 'Victory Template' on top. The guy turns around to see the screen, causing him to look shocked and yelp in surprise and fear.
"Crap," he leaps up and attempts to cover the computer with his arms. "Turn off the camera Mary-Sue!"
"On it, babe!" a female voice from off-screen calls out, before the camera shuts off, ending his audition tape.
Tegan Vaughn:
A Livestream starts as a girl smiles at the camera. "Hey, hey, Twitstachat viewers! It's me! ItzTegan! And I'm doing the sign-up for that Total Drama thing people keep talking about!"
The chat for the live stream turns on, revealing only around five people in it, most confused and unsure about her chances.
She notices the chat and rhetorically asks, "Why should I sign up?" After a chuckle, she says, "Well it's cause I'll be the coolest person there. I'm pretty so I'll get all the guys on my side, I'm smart so I won't get stuck in any dumb situations with like, the votes and all that, and I'm really chill, so I'm not gonna get mad, and people are gonna think that's awesome!"
After a pause she awkwardly continues, "Sucks that I can't bring my phone along to snap pics, and apparently I can't advertise my stuff too, it'll all be edited out if I try. But I'll give you all an update after the season finishes and I win the cash!"
"But yeah, obviously I'm the perfect person for this season! At least I'm not like the dweebs, dorks and dummies that usually fill the casts."
"Anyways has this gone on for a while? I'm gonna email this through to the Total Drama admissions people, and boom, I'll take that million bucks lickity-split!"
Suddenly, the girl's door starts to be knocked on, causing her to look shocked. "Wh-what?"
"Honey, are you in here?" An older woman's voice calls out.
"Mom?" Tegan asks. The woman opens the door, leading to Tegan running over and trying to shut it. "Come onnnnn mom! I'm doing the filming thing!" Tegan then quickly runs over to her phone and turns it off, ending her audition tape.
Myron Carter:
Myron walks over, sitting on a chair. Looking at the camera, he sits, stuck in thought for a few seconds before commenting, "Well uh… Hi. This is my Audition Tape. I'm Myron and uh… yeah, it's for Total Drama… I guess."
"So here's the thing," Myron starts, "I didn't sign up for the show. Two of my old high school bullies never moved on from being jerks for some reason and decided to sign me up for this thing and used the email for my mom's vet clinic." Myron sighs. "Mom insisted I filmed an Audition Tape anyway 'cause she's getting bombarded by emails about this and she doesn't want to block your addresses in case you want her to be the on-set vet for a show down the line or something."
Myron stands up. "Don't get me wrong, she believed me when I said I didn't do it, and she even gave me advice on what to say, so I'll just say that. Don't pick me, I'm really not cut out for a show like this, so uh… yeah, I'm a bad choice?" He then rolls his eyes, "knowing my luck though, you're probably gonna pick me anyways 'cause it's funny to make fun of me… ah well."
"One of my friends, Megan mentioned something about competing on this show," He continues. "But I dunno if she's gonna sign up. It'd be cool if she does but she's really shy, so social interactions don't go well for her outside of like, me, her dad, my mom and a couple of others."
Myron then stands up and starts to walk over, but accidentally trips over a floorboard. "Ow…" he mutters.
From on the ground, he says, "My luck is kinda bad, but it's not even to the extent that it'll be fun to watch, it doesn't even affect me all the time." He then stands up before saying, "So uh… please just don't pick me?" and he turns off the camera.
Nadia Garcia:
A camera turns on, revealing a woman in her dining room, "Hola, my name is Nadia Garcia, and I'm here to sign up for Total Drama."
"Okay, so I'm not gonna say Spanish words all the time, I fluently speak both it and English, and I think it's fun slipping a couple of them in there occasionally, but I know basically nobody else speaks it on this show outside of that one Spanish guy, so I'll just stick to English."
She then chuckles, "Anyways, where do I begin? Okay, so I'm going to be basing my game on strategy instead of physical prowess. I'm not overly physically weak or anything, but I'm not a bodybuilder so it's more brain than brawn with me."
With a chuckle, she continues. "I can make friends with someone who isn't annoying pretty easily actually, so I'll probably make friends with the more normal people there. Just don't piss me off and I won't get mad at you." After a moment's pause, she admits, "Okay, I fully admit, I've got a temper. I don't take people's crap. However, while I do admit I can get annoyed sort of easily, I'm not that Eva girl from… Was Action the one she competed in?" She shrugs.
"I guess my best and worst traits are sort of linked. I can smell out una rata nearly anywhere, but uh… as I said before, I do have a bit of a temper. I'm probably gonna get annoyed if I have the over-the-top contestants yelling in my ears, but hey, you might need another angry contestant, so I'm right here for that if you want."
A mosquito flies in and then buzzes by Nadia's ear, causing her to stand up and swat at her head. "Ugh! Stupid bugs!" She then starts to chase after the bug, trying to swat it. This is until she accidentally bumps into the tripod the camera's on, causing the camera to fall onto the ground. "Oh come on!" She yells, angry before the camera shuts off.
The camera cuts back on to Nadia awkwardly sitting back down before saying. "So uh… I hope I get picked, but overall, that's about it. I'm smart and social. Heck, you can even bank on me being angry if you really want that for the camera." She then stands up, saying, "So yeah, pick me, I guess." Before walking over to properly turn off the camera.
Nadia Spanish Translations (According to DeepL):
"Hola" = "Hello" (I actually do know this one is correct lol)
"una rata" = "a rat" (Generally knew this one as well cause of Batman lol)
After on and off working on this, I finished the first draft of this literally the day after I released episode 10 part 1. Funny enough, Nadia's was the last one I finished. I was having a little trouble doing her one 'cause I wasn't overly sure how to execute hers. Still, it's done now, and I think I'm happy with it.
I hope you all enjoyed this bit. Episode 11 is up next, so I hope you enjoy what I eventually get out with this one. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great day, and I hope that I can get EI episode 11 out… reasonably soon.
