And welcome back to part two! Here we will answer which two contestants will be eliminated from the game! I hope you're all just as excited to read this part as I am to get this out. What turning points will this create in the season? Who will be the last contestants to miss out on the merge? Well, to find out… without further ado, lets begin….

"Aaaaaand we're back!" Chris smirks as the camera fades back in. "For the people that missed it, we've done two rounds of this thing, and the Frozen Lions and Electric Tigers both have a point each."

The scene zooms out to show the two wheels behind Chris. On the left, a shoe, a bow and a horse remain, while on the right, a one, two and four.

"And without further ado, I think it's time we see who and what is gonna be up next?"

The host then walks over and spins the wheel, as the campers watch on. The spinning lasts for a few moments before eventually landing on… the one and the bow.

"Jemma! Susan! It seems like the two of you are gonna be competing in the archery challenge!" The girls smirk confidently at each other.

Confessional:

Susan:

"We're doing archery...?" She questions, before thinking. "Well, I'm a bit more likely to win it than the running one at least. Still, making her think I'm confident can throw her off."

Jemma:

"Okay, so full disclosure, archery isn't one of my skills. I guess I'm reasonably good at throwing small pebbles, but that's as close as it gets," she then awkwardly rubs her arm before smiling. "Smirking makes it seem like I'm confident though, so yeah, I put on an act."

Carol:

"I kinda wish I was the one doing the archery challenge. Not to brag, but I've done my fair share of prop owl-erang throws and…," she leans back with a grin on her face, "I'm a pretty good shot." [1]

Confessionals End:

The scene cuts back to Fire Island, on a shooting range. The two girls look around, trying to hold their bows correctly. They aren't succeeding.

"Okay girls, all you have to do is to shoot the arrow from the bow and hit the target. In front of them, the short, overweight intern and the intern with hair over his eyes stand worried.

"Good luck?" Jemma says to Susan, who shrugs back.

"Hey!" Katrina yells out suddenly. "This is cruel! They're arrows!"

"So?" Chris asks, confused. "How is this any worse than anything else they've gone through?"

"I'm here seeing it! That's how it's worse!" Katrina admits angrily. Chris simply shrugs. Katrina pauses for a moment before calling out, "I'll take their place here!" Everyone gasps at this reveal, even the interns.

"Hmm," Chris starts to think, before flashing an evil smirk. "Well… I'll allow it… as long as someone else takes the slot of the intern for the Tigers? Can't have any favouritism."

"Lauren?" Susan quickly tries to point at her rival.

"Nope!" Lauren responds just as quickly before hiding behind Rory.

Seeing nobody joining in causes Katrina to stomp over to the Tigers angrily. "One of you jerks better bite the bullet with me. They need the break!"

"Uhhh," Jake starts to look around. "Anyone wanna do it?"

"I'd say you do," Chris notes with a smirk. Jake freezes worry on his face.

"Come… come on dude."

"Too late!" Chris chuckles. "Come on up, Jake!"

"Not cool dude," Jake groans at Chris as he walks over to the intern with the hair over his eyes. Jake and Katrina grab the targets before looking down at the duo.

"You better not hit me, got it?" Katrina points at Jemma, who rolls her eyes.

"Aww really? I was gonna aim for the face." Katrina growls at her, causing Jemma to say, "Geez, it's just a joke."

Confessional:

Jemma:

"So I'm not gonna lie, Katrina is making me want to be on 'Team Gary' even more with how she's acting. "And that's a real big task to pull off."

Confessionals End:

As Chef wheels over a box containing the arrows, Jemma decides to ask, "Are these arrows… actually gonna stab them?"

"Ha!" Chris starts. "You really think you're not gonna kill them?"

"WHAT!?" Everyone screams. Jake's face pales as Katrina's eyes shoot open in worry.

Chris laughs evilly. "Just kidding," he states before picking up an arrow. The arrow looks as if it doesn't have a point, but the end appears to be metallic.

"Look, these are gonna hurt a little, they're metal after all, but they're blunt and magnetized to the targets you guys are gonna hold. Most that'll happen is a concussion and considering these two are the weakest on your teams, it's probably not getting to that point."

"I can totally concuss him!" Susan responds, offended.

"I'd really prefer if you didn't try that out," Jake calls out, colour returning to his face.

"Up to you," Chris shrugs. "It'd be cool to see you guys try that though."

"We'll see if it happens or not." Jake looks concerned at Susan's response to Chris.

Confessional:

Jake:

"Am I about to die?" He questions, worried.

Confessional Ends:

"Anyways girls," Chris begins. "Get ready to start this in THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!"

The two girls pull back their bows and launch their first arrows. Jemma's goes above Katrina's head and Susan's lands at Jake's feet.

"Okay, you might need to go a bit higher!" Jake calls out.

"I can see that," Susan frowns back. She then aims another arrow upwards. Which sails above Jake's head.

"Do you want me to say anything about that?"

"No, not really." The camera then pans over to the Lions, as Jemma aims and shoots an arrow, which hits Katrina in the face.

"Ooh, sorry," Jemma calls out.

"Don't do it again." Another arrow then hits the former intern in the face. "Seriously?"

"That wasn't me this time!" Jemma yells back. All eyes turn to Susan who awkwardly chuckles while shrugging.

Jemma shoots another arrow, which hits Katrina's stomach. Katrina then shrugs, commenting, "Better than my head I guess."

"Close your eyes," Jake suggests. "Maybe if you're not focusing on aiming you can get it or something?"

"Better than nothing," Susan closes her eyes before aiming the arrow. It sails above Jake's head.

"Okay, keep your eyes open then," Jake calls out. "No offence, but that was your worst shot yet."

Susan frowns as she reopens her eyes and begins to aim another arrow, which barely misses the target. "So close," Susan sighs.

"You'll get it on your next shot, I can tell." Jake smiles.

"About that," Katrina notes as the two turn around and look. One of Jemma's arrows has hit the target Katrina's holding. The two girls promptly smirk at their opponents.

"And that's a point for the Frozen Lions!" Chris yells. Jemma cheers.

"Yes!" Both girls cheer as the guys from the Lions join in as well.

"But uh," Susan calls out. "I… aww man."

"We've still got two challenges we can win though," Jake tries to comfort his teammate, but Susan stomps away angrily. Jake shrugs. "Worth a try."

Morgan walks out and watches Susan leave the scene as he smirks. He then walks past chuckling to himself before looking right at Rory. The jock then steps back surprised as he walks over and whispers.

"You're doing great, dude." Rory looks confused while Carol tilts her head.

Confessional:

Rory:

"What does he mean by that?" The jock questions, before shrugging. "Whatever…."

-

Carol:

"Morgan's not working with Rory," she comments. "Obviously not, but I don't get why he'd say that to be honest." She shrugs, "ah well…."

-

Morgan:

"Okay, so that was meant to get Rory mad and make it seem like we're working together or something to Carol but I was too good to the point where it wrapped back around to me fumbling the ball. Frankly, I blame Rory here."

Confessionals End:

The scene then cuts to Chris walking over to the wheels later. Susan has returned and seems to have calmed down a bit since before.

Chris looks right at the camera before continuing, "Now that the Lions have pulled ahead, they only need one more point to clinch a win! Will they get it this round? Well… let's see who's competing first!"

Chris walks over to the wheels, spinning the left, then the right. "Drumroll please!" Chef performs a drumroll as the wheels come to a stop… on the shoe and the four.

"My turn," Katrina nods.

"Yup," Chris nods. "And against Carol for the Tigers. And you'll be competing in the running challenge!"

"Running?" Carol begins. "That's it?"

"Not really," Chris shrugs. "But it's easier to explain by just showing it."

The scene cuts to the ten contestants at another part of Fire Island, where the remaining ten contestants watch on, with Carol and Katrina in the front.

"So Carol…," Chris begins. "I'm assuming you remember a few episodes back at Myron's elimination?" He then chuckles. "Or would it be better to ask Lauren or Susan?"

"The tiebreaker I'm guessing?" Chris nods at Carol's response.

"Preeeeety much," the host presses another remote, causing the ground to flip around.

"You have a lot of buttons on you today," Susan notes.

"I need to use a lot for this challenge?" Chris shrugs. The camera pans to the remote Chris just used. On it is a label saying 'Running challenge'.

"So do we have to get the pictures of us too?" Carol questions.

"Nope, it's just a race to the end. But it's longer, and with different traps."

"Seems easy enough," Katrina smirks. "Prepare to lose!"

"Ooh I'm so scared," Carol smirks back.

Bob looks around awkwardly, not saying a word.

Confessional:

Bob:

"Well… I… kind of have to stay silent here. Considering I don't want to support someone aside from Carol, but that would mean I'm supporting the other team…." He looks awkwardly at the camera.

Confessional Ends:

Chris glares with a smirk at the two competing. "Alright, you two. Get ready to start in THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!"

Carol and Katrina run ahead before a wall of fire cause the two to suddenly stop their movement.

"WOAH!" Katrina yelps in surprise.

"We had to keep at least one of them," Chris smirks. "May as well be the most on-brand for the island."

Carol watches the fire, before looking around. Katrina puts her hand forward, feeling the heat before quickly pulling her hand out.

"Ow!" She calls out.

"Trust me, the fire's real," Carol says to her.

The fire then goes down, causing the two girls to run ahead. They're neck-and-neck.

"You're speedy," Katrina notes.

"Well, I do like to think I'm a pretty decent shot with a bow."

"What?"

"Comic reference, you wouldn't get it."

"Whatever," Katrina rolls her eyes before she quickly pushes Carol over. The intern then laughs before promptly running into a wall due to not focusing on where she was going. "I deserved that." She grumbles before shaking her head quickly while rubbing her head.

"Bye!" Carol smiles, quickly grabbing onto the top of the wall before it retracts and she uses the force of the retraction to pull herself through and keep momentum.

"Show off," Katrina rolls her eyes before following after her. After catching up, she says, "You know, I kinda wish you hadn't swapped teams."

"Thanks," Carol smiles.

"No problem! Hey, so do you wanna be in an alliance in the merge?" A group of pitching machines pop up and start to shoot at the two girls.

"Agh!" Katrina complains, "What the heck!"

"Hold that question, but probably no." Carol then ducks down, crawling over to the pitching machine. She then grabs one of the baseballs, and then throws it at one of the pitching machines, causing it to fall over and for her to quickly crawl out.

She then grabs the pitching machine she knocked over before aiming it at a couple more of the machines, knocking them over, before throwing hers away and running ahead.

"Wait for me!" Katrina yells before following Carol.

The two girls then find another obstacle… four walls of drywall, with a blue, orange, green and yellow target painted on each.

"Okay, seriously Chris? This is just uncreative." Despite what she just said, Katrina then takes a step back before charging through the blue wall successfully. Carol watches before looking around awkwardly and then following through the holes Katrina made slowly.

Chris watches the scene angrily. "The other ones were completely solid and everything!" He then notes, "well okay the yellow one wasn't solid, but green and orange were!" He then continues to yell. "It was gonna be so funny! I had a whole joke about losing points and everything!" [2]

"Dude… let it go?" Gary simply states, confused, but Chris simply pouts, annoyed.

As Carol makes it to the other end of the walls, she sees the finish line just ahead, and Katrina is far closer to it than Carol currently is.

"Hey! Wait up!" Carol yells as she sprints over. As she makes it, the two of them have to skid to a stop as several wrecking balls on chains start to swing, causing the two girls to pause and watch.

"Well, when this clears up if you could step aside, 'cause that would be nice and heroic, I need to win for the team and all that," Katrina jokes.

"You know…," Carol begins. "For hating Chris and everything, I think you're really getting into the game more recently."

Katrina's eyes go wide as she yells out, "No I'm not! I hate this game!"

"Okay, that's fair," Carol shrugs, before explaining. "It's just that you're really focused on winning though. Like, I think you're basically the leader of your team."

Katrina groans. "I'm only here 'cause Chris forced me though. If I can do this game to get interviews to tank his career, then I'll take that as a win."

"I think you said that before," Carol shrugs. "Still, wouldn't that mean you're just letting Chris win here? You're letting him get screentime from you, and he's probably got lawyers and stuff that can stop whatever you're gonna say from getting out. If there's one thing that The Improbables taught me, even Superheroes don't want to deal with lawyers. Well, unless it's Stuntman, he's a superhero lawyer specifically." [3]

"Whatever," Katrina tries to shake off her comment, but she still looks rattled.

Confessional:

Katrina:

"I'm… I'm not giving Chris what he wants… or am I?" She shakes her head. "Well, even if I am… she's totally wrong about the lawyer thing, I'm in the clear."

Confessionals End:

As this happens, the wrecking balls clear up, and using Katrina's momentary pause, Carol quickly runs ahead. She climbs onto the platform before calling out, "Sorry! I didn't mean to make you stop!"

"Superhero girl gets the point," Chef yells through a walkie-talkie, causing Chris to nod.

"Hear that? That's a point for the Electric Tigers!"

"Yes!" Lauren cheers.

"We can still win it," Jake nods. A few moments later, Carol then runs over cheering.

"Good job!" Lauren smiles as she walks over, smacking her friend's back.

"All in a day's work," Carol smiles.

Gary simply smirks at Katrina, who glares at him. "I'm not saying anything," the theatre kid shrugs. The former intern simply walks past with her arms folded, bumping into him and dropping Gary to the ground in the process.

"This raises a question though," Chris comments to nobody in particular. "Should we spin the wheels?"

"I mean… we know what they're doing," Chef adds in, walking over. "And who's doing it as well."

"It just… doesn't feel right not doing it though," Chef rolls his eyes but allows Chris to walk over and spins both wheels.

"Seriously?" Gary questions as he stands up. "Are you actually doing this?"

The wheels land on the last possible choices, two and the horse.

"What a surprise," Gary rolls his eyes.

"Alright!" Chris yells happily. "Gary! Lauren! It's time for the final challenge of the day! We're currently two all when it comes to the points, so the winner and the rewards for the next challenge will be decided by this match!"

"No pressure I guess," Gary mutters.

"All the pressure," Katrina glares. "I wanna get that reward."

"And pressuring someone will just make them more likely to screw up due to stress," Jemma jumps in. "I mean, come on."

"I mean… yeah, it's a bit… much." Xavier shrugs. Bob looks at them all quietly.

The scene transitions back to Water Island, on a platform. Gary and Lauren stand at the front in their swimsuits.

"So the last challenge is the horse racing challenge," Chris begins to explain. "We could have just done it on Fire Island again, but eh, we didn't use Water Island as much as we wanted to, so we decided to use it again for this one too!"

"Okay, fair enough," Lauren starts. "But how well can these horses swim?"

"Funny thing," Chris starts. "We were gonna make robotic horses for you to swim on, but we decided to do something else fun. Chris grabs a remote with two red buttons on it before pressing the top one.

A loud rumbling is heard from below the water, as the contestants watch on, seeing a duo of horse-sized seahorses rise from out of the drink slowly. The two animals also have saddles on their back.

"Get it… seahorses?"

"Hahaha," Lauren awkwardly chuckles. Gary stays silent, an unimpressed expression on his face.

Chris nods at Lauren for laughing at his joke before starting the challenge explanation. "Anyways. The two of you have to ride on these seahorses and try to knock your opponent into the water."

"This seems really simple for the last challenge," Lauren notes. "I mean… I guess they were randomized, but still."

"Don't worry," Chris smirks back. "I've got just the thing." The host then presses the other button, leading to an even larger rumbling being heard.

The contestants watch on in shock, as the pirate ship from several challenges ago bursts out of the water.

"You can go on the ship too, and use anything on there as long as you don't get off the seahorse itself."

"So we've just gotta push the other one off?" Gary comments. "That's it?"

"Oh yeah," Chris quickly says, "I almost forgot that you're not allowed to lay a finger on your opponent. However, we've also decided that I guess we'll give you both lances to help attack each other."

"Something else to note is that so we can make this challenge not finish immediately, there's a thirty-second period at the start where you aren't allowed to hit your opponent at all. If you do, you automatically lose, and you're still going to have to do another round of this anyways because we need the footage."

"Water jousting was not what I expected to do here in all honesty," Gary responds. "In any case, I can manage…."

"Good to see you're confident," Chris nods as Chef walks over and hands the two of them a lance each, which appears to be folded. "So, get on your seahorses and get ready to start the challenge." The duo do as they're told.

"Gee, this is kind of uncomfortable," Lauren notes, before turning to Gary. "Still, good luck."

"Let's hope I have it," Gary mutters.

Chris then calls out. "If you're both ready, let's start! And if not, too bad! We're doing it anyways!" He then turns to the camera and says, "THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!"

The two seahorses rocket ahead insanely fast with Lauren and Gary both still attached, holding on for dear life.

Confessional:

Gary:

The theatre kid sits in a fetal position with his eyes wide, before taking deep breaths. "I think my life flashed before my eyes when that seahorse started up."

Confessionals End:

Lauren quickly looks around, before finding a lever on the side of the seahorse, pulling it, it starts to slow down. She manages to get the speed down to a much more manageable level as Gary rockets past.

"That… was awful!" The fangirl takes a few breaths, but she begins to chuckle. "I'm still alive! Yes!"

Meanwhile, Gary continues to hold on, while screaming, "HOW DO YOU SLOW THIS THING DOOOOOOOOOWN!?" He then accidentally pushes down on the lever to slow the seahorse down, dropping down onto the saddle as it comes to a stop. "Oh… that's how," he says between breaths.

Lauren looks over at Gary saying, "So how much longer do we have to wait until we get to fight?"

"Five seconds!" Chris yells out as if to answer them.

"That's how long," Gary snarks back.

"And now, you two can fight!" Chris yells out.

"Oh good," Gary smirks. He quickly powers on the seahorse to go slowly before pulling out his lance, unfolding it, turning around and starting to go towards Lauren, who quickly produces her lance and blocks the attack.

"I'm not letting you get me out that easily." Lauren powers her seahorse up as she starts to circle around Gary.

Gary looks around, rolling his eyes, before slowly moving forward, his lance pointed forward.

Lauren quickly stops the seahorse before she can get defeated by Gary's strategy.

"No…," Gary begins, "go on ahead, I insist."

"Eh, that's not fun," Lauren shrugs.

"It's fun to me," Gary shrugs back.

Lauren quickly looks around sighing, before quickly putting her lance into the water and then splashing water onto Gary's face.

"Does that count?" Katrina questions Chris.

"Eh, she didn't touch the water herself, she can stay in the challenge."

"And Gary?" Susan walks over next.

"He's still on his seahorse, he's fine." Susan simply shrugs before walking away.

Using the water as a distraction, Lauren tries to attack Gary, but he quickly opens his eyes and deflects it, knocking her lance into the water. Surprisingly, it's floating.

"Now, where were we?" Gary questions, before riding his seahorse towards Lauren. The fangirl's eyes widen in fear as she speeds away from Gary.

Lauren's seahorse rockets away up to the entrance of the ship. "How am I gonna even get on that?" The seahorse then opens a pair of small hatches on its side and grows small feet. "Oh… alright then."

The robot then walks onto the ship, causing Lauren to begin to look around. "Interesting… very interesting." Looking around, the fangirl notices the rigging of the ship. A devilish smirk crosses her face.

Back in the water, Gary didn't notice where Lauren escaped to, so he begins to call out, "You can't run forever! Sooner or later… you're gonna have to try for the lance."

"I know!" Lauren yells out. "Doesn't mean I'm gonna hand you the win."

"If you decide you want to, I don't mind," Gary admits with a shrug.

"Nah, even if I wanted to throw, I've got to make it less obvious, y'know?"

"Fair point," Gary says, still looking around, before he hears a splash near the pirate ship and quickly rockets over with his lance.

Lauren smirks at a small bit of the sail, ripped off that worked as her distraction, causing her to quickly race off the other side of the ship.

Gary then boards the ship, saying, "Look, I could use the win as leverage to help stop Katrina from causing my elimination, are you sure you can't just give up the challenge and let me win?"

"I mean, I might consider it, possibly." Lauren's distant voice causes Gary to turn around.

"It's a simple yes," Gary notes.

"Or no, right?" Lauren questions back, having since returned with her lance in her hand. "Thanks for letting me grab this by the way."

Gary points his lance at Lauren. "No, I need this win to get a one-up on Katrina."

"And I need to win for my plans to work as well, so it looks like we're at a crossroads."

"Darn shame," Gary starts to menacingly move his seahorse ahead, sending Lauren into the corner. Surprisingly, however, she simply snickers. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing much," Lauren smirks. "But I think you might need to look up."

She then uses her lance to cut a rope. Gary looks up to see some rigging above him, which falls on top of him.

"Son of a-," Gary yells in annoyance.

"Come on," Lauren says as the robot walks over with her on it. "I'm a daughter of a-."

"You know what I mean!" Gary thrashes at the rigging before he slowly slips off the seahorse. "Get me off this thing before I- NO!"

Gary yells before Lauren starts to poke at him with her lance, forcing him to get up and out before walking towards the water.

"Yar, ye need to walk the plank," Lauren imitates a pirate, even putting her free hand over one of her eyes.

Gary rolls his eyes before dully saying, "As long as you promise to never do that pirate voice again."

"I make no promises," Lauren smirks before forcefully using the lance to push Gary off the boat and into the water.

Chris watches the situation from the platform before smirking. "We are done here! The Electric Tigers win the challenge!" Chris pauses for a second, before shrugging. "Not that it helps you too much right now 'cause both teams are going to elimination anyways, but still!"

The Electric Tigers all pause for a moment, unsure of how to respond, but they slowly start to cheer quietly.

"As for the Lions… well, you're going to be throwing someone out first! And you won't get the reward in the merge's first challenge!"

A few minutes later, Lauren and Gary swim over and rejoin their teams.

"Great job Lauren!" Carol joyfully says before the camera pans to Katrina, whose tone is far more sarcastic.

"Great job Gary."

"She caught me off-guard," the Theatre Kid tries to defend himself, putting his hands up, before his eyes narrow. "Anyways, you lost as well, you really shouldn't diss me when you failed too."

"I-uh…" Katrina pauses, not expecting the response.

"He's got you there," Bob nods, shrugging.

Katrina blushes in minor embarrassment. "Okay… you win this time I guess…."

"Anyways, I can say you almost had her," Bob smirks.

"Shut up…."

"I'm not saying anything though." Bob's smirk is evident. Gary frowns at his own words being used against him.

"Alright everyone," Chris begins with a smirk. "Go off and get ready for elimination now, I'm hoping for a fun one tonight!"

The ten campers then slowly start to walk away, before Chris and Chef look at each other and walk off as well.

Lauren pauses to think before frowning, concern on her face.

Confessional:

Lauren:

"Operation Cupid hasn't been going as smoothly as I wanted… it's time I pulled out the big guns on Carol."

Confessional Ends:

The scene cuts to the end of Carol and Bob's conversation as they hug before walking away.

A few moments later, Bob notices Xavier, who appears to be stuck in thought. "You alright dude?" He asks.

"Yeah," the Method Actor starts. "Just… just thinking about something."

"And that is…?"

"I dunno, I mean, it's just weird. We're gonna be sending Gary home, it feels like the end of an era in a sense. It's just crazy that it's actually happening."

Bob chuckles. "Hey, I'm just gonna be excited to see his face drop."

"How loud do you think the scream gonna be?" Xavier jokes. Bob chuckles.

"It's got to be loud enough for the rest of the eliminated campers to hear."

Xavier then chuckles. "We should get earmuffs or something."

Bob laughs, "We wouldn't even be able to block it out much if they were noise cancelling." A moment later, he adds. "Look, I'm gonna chill out for a bit, today's the first time in a little while I've confidently felt safe going to an elimination."

"To be fair, it's been a while since we've been to an elimination."

Bob laughs. "See ya, dude!" The giant then walks off, however, Xavier's expression returns to being stuck in thought.

Confessional:

Xavier:

"Gary is the easiest target, and Bob and Jemma are obviously not targets right now, but Katrina's strong, driven and doesn't have the bad reputation Gary does. I'm still on 'team voting off Gary,' but it's something to think about."

Confessionals End:

Elsewhere, Carol walks into the Spa Hotel, happily, before she sees Lauren sitting at a table, quietly sobbing to herself. Carol's eyes go wide as she quickly runs over to her friend and says, "What's wrong Lauren?"

"I…" Lauren begins. "I just realised… this is it."

"What?" Carol looks at the fangirl confused. "What's it?"

"I'm… my goose is cooked… or I guess as I should say, my game is done. I've lost…," Her voice cracks, "and I didn't even make the merge."

Carol pauses, unsure of how to respond before saying, "Well, I might be able to get Susan to change her vote. Anyways, there are five of us, so you hold twenty percent of the results right now! It's not over until it's over!"

"Who are you going to get Susan to vote instead? She always had it out for me for no reason!"

"Okay, I don't know," Carol admits with a sigh. "I don't know how to save you, but it'll be alright, I can keep your spirit in the game alive or something, even if you go home?"

"But it'll never be my first season of the show ever again!" Lauren says with a resigned sigh. "It's my first season, it'd mean a lot to me if I could actually make the merge in it."

"I'm… sorry," Carol sighs. "I don't really know what to do here, I might have to actually vote you off. We won though, so at least you'll make the top half?"

"You're still going to eliminate me?" Lauren sighs. "O-okay… I get that…," She then looks up with an expression, a mix of sadness and anger. "I just kind of wish that you actually cared about me all this time."

"I do!"

"Well, Carol. Considering you're voting me off after everything we've been through, pardon me for not really thinking that's true."

"It… is true though," Carol looks upset.

"Sure…" Lauren sighs, sadly. "Keep telling yourself that."

"Then how can I prove I'm your friend," Carol looks at her worried.

"Not voting for me," Lauren simply sighs.

"But what if I can't?" Carol questions. Lauren looks up angrily.

"You are actively choosing to vote for me. This isn't a 'I was forced to' thing, you are willingly doing this!"

"Then who do you want me to vote for?" Carol questions, worried. "Cause it's not Jake."

"Why can't it be Jake?" Lauren questions.

"Personal reasons." Carol simply says. "I don't want Susan either in all honesty."

"Well, it seems like you're just leaving Rory then," Lauren notes. "I mean unless you want to vote yourself or something, but I don't want you to do that, even after this."

Carol pauses, saying, "But that's going to…." She stops herself, before saying, "look, I'll… think about it, alright?"

"Deal," Lauren nods before Carol quickly walks away.

After checking to see if the coast was clear, Lauren sighs with relief, before pulling out an onion she kept hidden, alongside a knife. "I was starting to worry the tears would stop soon." She then stands up and starts to walk towards the kitchen.

Confessional:

Lauren:

"I can't cry on command easily without psyching myself up," Lauren shrugs. "It's a weakness of mine that I'm perfectly aware of. If you're asking, at Morgan's elimination I had Morgan's whole speech to prepare myself so I could properly cry to make my point, but I didn't know when Carol would come in, so I had to have backup to help push me along."

She then smirks. "I've pulled this move quite a few times actually, just sit at a table that isn't too high up and you can play with anyone's hearts with the waterworks. I don't even have to see the knife that much to cut the onion at this point, that's how used to cutting onions I am." A moment later, she say. "Wow, that sounds weird out of context."

Carol:

Carol puts her hands on her head out of stress. "I'm gonna piss off one of my friends either way! That's so unfair!" She then yelps in fear. "M-maybe I can lie and tell Lauren I voted Rory and Susan that I voted Lauren?" Her face drops. "Heroes don't lie like that though, and even if I did something like that, what if it gets out that I'm lying to one of them!?"

Confessional Ends:

Morgan whistles as he walks over towards Susan. The Brainiac smirks at him. "How's it feel to fail?" She questions him.

"Why's that?" Morgan questions.

"Your plan to discredit me. It worked initially, I'll give you that, but it's no longer screwing me over, how's it feel to fumble the ball this badly?" Her confident smirk is evident.

"Hey, Rory's still not going to be into you," Morgan chuckles. "I killed your relationship, I see this as a win either way."

"Nice try, I'm currently about to talk to him, and we're probably gonna bury the hatchet!"

"I mean, if you say so," Morgan chuckles. "Still, you never know if he'll just be tricking you and vote you off."

"That's only two votes in that context," Susan smirks. "Carol, Jake and I are all voting for Lauren tonight. Face it bub, I'm making that merge, it's gotta burn you up inside, right?" Susan chuckles before walking past.

"And people call me full of myself," he mutters, rolling his eyes. He then grabs out a walkie-talkie and says. "She's going to talk to Rory, you sure this is smart?"

"Yeah, it's good," Lauren's voice says from the other side, "it's going all according to plan then."

Another transition changes the scene to the outskirts of the woods a little later, where Susan quickly jogs over to Rory. He looks at her with a slightly concerned expression, but he still nods at her.

"So… hi!" Susan smiles.

"Hello," Rory nods again. "How're you doing?"

"Pretty good all things considered," Susan nods. "Uh… how about you?"

"I've… been better, but to be fair, I've also been worse, so ah well."

"Well, that's good to hear," Susan smiles, before both of them go silent.

"So…" Susan begins again, "I guess we need to talk about the elephant in the room here. Why we're actually here."

"Yeah," Rory awkwardly says back. "I'd say it's uh… pretty important to talk about this."

"I'm… I wanna start off saying that I do have to have a bit of the fault here," Susan sighs. "Just saying that before we continue. I shouldn't have tried to manipulate you initially, even if it wasn't like that after a bit."

"Okay," Rory nods before sighing. "I can admit I've overreacted a little bit too. You've mentioned a bunch of times now that it changed to genuine care but it just… made me think, well, you played me before, what's stopping you from lying about that again?"

"That's fair," Susan nods. "I want to see if there's any way I can make up for it. We don't have to be together, obviously, but just so that we don't hate each other."

"You've been trying to for a while," Rory notes. "But probably just show you genuinely care and want to make things good and maybe we can become as close as we were before."

Susan's eyes go wide. "You're serious?"

"Maybe," Rory quickly says. "It'll take time though, and I'm unsure about the relationship part of it at all."

"So, friends then?" Susan questions.

"Conditionally," Rory nods.

"Wow, thanks!" Susan then pauses to think. "In that case though, I think we should also think about the chart I showed you before."

"Huh?"

"Well, I didn't mention it earlier, but Lauren made a few more pieces of paper alongside the chart. Making fun of each of the members of the Tigers aside from me, even Nadia actually. Lauren had this thing ready."

"She's really got it out for you," Rory notes.

"Tell me about it," Susan rolls her eyes. "Anyways, if she's going to try and mess with us again, maybe we should get her back at this?" Rory pauses at this.

"By voting for her?" Rory questions.

"Bingo."

"Are you really thinking about the vote when we're hashing everything out… really?"

"Well, we can fix things even more when little miss demon gets blasted away and stops trying to undermine everything I do.

"Seriously?" Rory questions her, annoyed. Susan shakes her head.

"Sorry, I… I didn't think you'd react like this."

"Is it all the game to you?" Rory questions her. "Is everything here, to get further in the game… I want you to answer this honestly."

"Obviously not," Susan sighs. "Though… that hasn't been overly obvious I guess."

"You're self-aware at least, I'll give you that." Susan grimaces at Rory's comment. "Because it sure as heck feels like it. You CONSTANTLY talk about the strategy and how much you hate Lauren for doing this when you never give us the common courtesy of seeing you actually show remorse or anything. You don't have to kiss our boots constantly, but it feels like you only care about the game, not the friendships."

Susan's eyes go wide at Rory's annoyance, and her face turns conflicted. A moment later, she sighs.

"The best part of the game… has been meeting you guys, alright?" Susan admits. "You, Carol, Jake, a lot of the others… I've… got an obsessive side to my personality. If there's something I want to focus on, I do that… to the detriment of everyone else. It makes me lose track of stuff that's important. Ironic considering I'm socially popular at home, but I have lost friends because of it. It has happened…."

With this, Rory's eyes soften.

Confessional:

Rory:

"Jake was right, I'd rather finish the game with no regrets than leave one lingering." He then sighs. "I'd rather bury the hatchet than leave it in her head." He then admits. "Anyways, that admission… I've seen people lie about similar things before but… this came from the heart."

-

Susan:

Susan quietly sobs, seemingly thinking about everything before looking up at the camera and trying to hide her eyes. "Yeah, this is true okay? Thanks for staying with me Nia, you too Jared."

Confessional Ends:

"You know what?" Rory sighs. "Apology accepted," he then nods.

"Wait what?" Susan responds, still visibly shaken from her previous admission.

"I might regret saying this, but do you want to be allies again?" Susan's eyes go wide.

"Huh?" Susan questions, causing Rory to nod back once.

"To be clear. I don't think I'm ready for a relationship again. I think we rushed into it a bit fast. Let's take it slow, and just restart as friends for a little bit, then we'll take it from there."

The pair look into each other's eyes before Susan nods. "O-okay."

After pausing for a moment, Susan quickly hugs the surprised Jock.

"Was that too much?" She quickly asks.

"Nah… a hug's alright," he smiles. He then straightens up. "So… who's the target?"

"What?"

"If we're gonna be allies again, we're gonna need to vote together."

"But you just said-," Rory holds up a hand to cut Susan off before he smirks.

"I vote with my heart, you vote with your brain, if your brain comes up with better targets than my heart, I'm willing to take a chance with it. I'll veto any choices I'm explicitly not a fan of, but you can come up with the strategy and all that if you want, and I will most likely agree with it as long as it doesn't completely and obviously destroy our games in the fallout."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. As long as you don't act like a tyrant and let me get my thoughts in, I'm willing to work with you again."

"Deal!" Susan quickly says, sightly happier as the two shake hands.

"Again though," Rory sighs, "who're we voting off?"

"Lauren." Susan quickly says. "I mean, she and Morgan got us in this situation, to begin with."

"I guessed as much," Rory nods along. "Alright, I'm down for that."

"That's it?"

"Do you want me to change my mind?" Rory questions, half-jokingly.

"Not really," Susan scratches the back of her head awkwardly.

Susan pauses a moment, before saying, "Genuinely… thank you, Rory."

"No problem."

The two then pause. "I know you're not ready… but will there be some point down the line where we can actually do so?" Susan asks.

"Possibly," Rory shakes his head. "I don't know. We'll just start with a friendship and go from there. Though, I'd really prefer it if you didn't constantly mention wanting to be in a relationship with me. I'm alright hashing it out here, but constantly mentioning it every five seconds is… going to be pretty awkward."

"Alright!" Susan quickly puts her hands up. "Well, thank you for talking with me."

"No problem," Rory nods back before standing up. "I'm gonna head off, see you at the elimination."

"Bye," Susan waves at him before he walks away. Susan leaves with a small smile on her face.

Elsewhere, Xavier sits on a bench, still deep in thought.

"Hey! Xavier!" Gary quickly calls out, running over, the Method Actor turns around to face him.

"Uh… hey Gary… how're you doing?" Xavier awkwardly comments.

Gary pauses, before beginning his pitch. "Look. I get it, you absolutely hate me, and I understand that. However, you were also in an alliance with me for a good chunk of the game so far. You know how I play the game and most of my strategies."

"And?" Xavier questions. "Tell me something I don't know."

Gary frowns before starting to speak. "Seeing as you know how I play, that's something you've got over me. Who you don't know strategy-wise, is Katrina."

The theatre kid begins to pace back and forth. "Look at how much she bounced between alliances. She helped Jemma and the girls when Hannah got booted, then us to get rid of Megan. And then insisted we voted Jemma, to the point where she got pissy when dared to not follow her command cause I followed your advice out of the kindness of my heart. Now she's planning my elimination, and yes, I'm unpopular, but I'm also a meat shield that you can keep in."

"Honestly," Xavier frowns. "I'm willing to take the risk to keep Katrina in. You're just giving me all the more reason to vote you off."

Gary glares at this comment before rolling his eyes. "Fine, then how about this? Keep me in today, and I promise not to vote you and someone else of your choice, off for the first elimination in the merge you and that ally are eligible to be voted off in. If one of you wins immunity, that safety will transfer to the next one you're able to do so. You can even vote me off then if you want."

Gary then continues, "I'm honest with you, have I properly lied to you about anything while we were in the alliance together?"

"You lied about Bob willingly being part of the alliance," Xavier says, deadpan.

"Ah… well, I'm telling the truth this time."

"Well okay, let's say I do your plan then," Xavier says, before thinking. "I can pick… anyone?"

"Yeah, anyone on the Lions or Tigers. But tell me now, 'cause I want to know."

Xavier smirks. "Okay… Bob's the other shield." Gary's face drops in surprise.

Confessional:

Gary:

"I thought he was gonna pick Jake!" Gary admits, shocked and flustered. "H-how is he… fine… whatever."

Xavier:

"You see, Jake's a tempting choice," Xavier admits. "But Bob's going to have the bigger target on his back in the merge, especially if his relationship with Carol comes out at some point. I highly doubt Jake's got anything going on that makes him as much of a threat as Bob, anyways, so Gary probably won't be able to get the votes for him. Basically, I want to keep my friend in for a little while." Xavier then chuckles. "Anyways, if Gary stays in he's gonna be so mad about not being able to vote him out."

Confessional Ends:

"You're going to need him out at some point though! Come on, be smart here, he'll kick our asses in almost all the challenges after the merge!"

"But he's also one of my friends, so I'm not gonna try and betray his trust like that."

Gary glares, before taking a deep breath and groaning. "Y'know what, fine, I'll avoid voting him off then if you agree."

"Cool." Xavier then pauses, before saying. "I'm guessing you have someone else's vote too? I'm not gonna ask who, but someone."

"Most likely," Gary confirms.

"In that case, if you're still in, I accept your deal, if not, then no." Xavier then stands up, walking away and leaving Gary to pause, frowning to himself.

Confessional:

Xavier:

"Honestly," Xavier begins with a smirk. "Potentially having the power over Gary for once would feel good." He then pauses, realising what he said. "Wait, crap, I actually need to decide who to target now…." He starts to think, "Okay, so Gary does raise a pretty good point with the whole 'I know how he plays' thing, but at the same time… it's Gary, do I really want to keep him in?"

Confessional Ends:

Elsewhere, Jemma rounds a corner, before quickly walking into Bob.

"Oh, hey!" The journalist smiles.

Bob looks around awkwardly, "Oh, uh, hey Jemma, how're you doing?"

"Look, I'll cut to the chase, I think we need to talk." Jemma frowns at Bob, who pales, before sighing.

"I messed up," Bob quickly begins. "I get it, I shouldn't have flipped to Gary and uh…."

"You were in a really hard position," Jemma quickly says back. "Look, I fully admit it does hurt flipping, but I… really overreacted as well, to a degree that it isn't even comical. Especially since I knew about your… plushes and how much they meant to you."

"Wait… you don't want me to apologise?" Bob looks genuinely confused.

"I mean… a part of me wants you to, but you don't have to if you don't want to. My reaction was angry enough that I can recognise I might not deserve an apology back."

"I'm sorry then," Bob quickly admits. "You do deserve an apology, I'm not letting you beat yourself up about it. I'm the one in the wrong here mainly, not you. I didn't want to flip but-."

"You have the memories with the plushes and Gary stole them," Jemma sighs. "I get that, if I lost stuff I had for years and had a connection to, I'd be upset too. Thanks for saying sorry though, apology accepted. I'm sorry for how I was too, I was just angry… confused… hurt… scared about my position in the game, all of the above really."

"So are we friends again or something?" Bob asks. "Allies maybe? This isn't to get an easy alliance, I'm just asking."

"We can align in the merge, yes. I've got a commitment tonight, it won't be voting for you though, so don't worry."

"I can accept that," Bob nods. "Thanks for letting me know ahead of time."

Jemma quickly clarifies, "I'm happy to ally with you and Xavier in the merge though. If Xavier gets Jake and we've got half the votes."

"I might also be able to get Carol as well to make it more than half if you want, I'm friends with her."

"Sure." Jemma smiles. The two stare at each other before she continues by saying, "Truce?"

Bob nods back at her, "truce."

Confessional:

Jemma:

"Admittedly, I don't have as much trust in Bob as I did before," she notes. "But I do genuinely still want to at least try to be allied with him for a while, 'cause I see him being a pretty good third place or something while I'm in the finale with someone like Jake. Anyways, I think I can start to trust Bob again. The dude was blackmailed, that's a reason for him to do that and as long as he isn't secretly still working with Gary still then I don't see an issue working with him. I don't really get any vibes like he's working with him either, so it's good."

Confessional Ends:

The loudspeaker then rings out as Chris yells, "Okay Lions! You're up for elimination! Get down here!"

"Here it is," Jemma nods.

"Let's go," Bob smiles back. "I think it's time to send Gary packing… at least if that's your commitment, anyways."

Jemma quickly looks away, awkwardly as the two begin to walk to the campfire pit for the elimination.

Elimination Ceremony 10 (Frozen Lions Elimination 5):

Chris smirks at the collection of losers sitting in front of him before saying. "Well, it may have taken a little while, but it looks like you're all back here! Your old home away from home from earlier in the season!"

"Not by choice!" Gary yells out as he folds his arms.

"Well, look at it this way, for one of you, you don't have to worry about coming back here, ever again!" The host then pulls out a plate with four hotdogs on it. "For you see, four hotdogs remain here. Whoever doesn't get one… well you know the rest, fireworks, blast off, you lost the game, cry about it."

"Let's get this over with…." Jemma sighs. Meanwhile, Gary and Katrina both sit with confident smirks, Bob looks around annoyed and Xavier's expression stays completely neutral, focused on the plate with the hotdogs in front of him.

Chris looks around at the five contestants. "Nobody else got anything to say? Sweet, go and vote then."

Xavier stands up first and walks over to cast his vote, before returning around a minute later.

A few minutes later, Jemma returns, having cast the final vote, before Chris walks into the tent and watches the votes. He returns with a smirk on his face.

"Interesting votes tonight. If I call your name… you have a hotdog with your name on it." Chris explains before holding one up. "The first one safe tonight is… Xavier." The Method Actor runs over and grabs one.

"Jemma, you're safe too."

Confessional:

Jemma:

"Making the merge, eh?" Jemma notes. "I would have preferred doing this with Tegan and Megan, but I can say, I'm not in an awful position. I can still win this game. I'm just gonna have to have a more solid plan, especially if the five-person alliance thing with Bob doesn't end up happening."

Xavier:

"Honestly, Bob, Jemma and I are pretty safe tonight," Xavier admits. "I just hope I made the right choice here when it came to the other two…."

Confessional Ends:

"You're safe too, Bob," Chris says, before muttering, "Not the smartest choice, but whatever."

"What was that?" The Giant questions as he walks over and grabs his hotdog.

"Nothing!" Chris quickly defends himself.

Confessional:

Bob:

"I'm the physical threat going into the merge," Bob notes with a grimace on his face. "I'm not stupid enough to not see that. I just need to focus on my social game then. If I build up a network of friends and allies that won't flip on me, I don't even need to win every challenge!"

Confessional Ends:

"And we're down to our bottom two…." Chris notes. "And this has been a loooooong time coming. Gary, and Katrina, you've both been making power plays against the other, but who's gathered the support required to get the win here?"

"Yeah, I wonder," Katrina smirks, turning to her opponent.

Chris turns to the bottom two, saying, "The final contestant safe on the Frozen Lions, is….

.

.

.

.

.

Gary."

Confessional:

Gary:

"So it's safe to say that when someone's smug going against me in the bottom two thinking they're safe. They're done for." Gary smirks. "Happened with Alfred, happened with Katrina. Anyways, I knew I was making the merge, Xavier's not stupid enough to not take my promise."

Confessional Ends:

"Wait, what?" Katrina questions, standing up. "I had the other three on my side though." Bob stands up just as confused.

"It was a three to two vote," Chris reveals.

Bob's mouth goes agape. "I… voted for Gary too, Xavier said he was going to as well, did you say the wrong name?"

Jemma next shrugs. "What can I say? It's a game for a million bucks and you've got a social game while Gary doesn't." She then turns to Bob, "that was the commitment I had, sorry."

"At least you let me know," Bob admits, confused.

Katrina looks at Xavier and says. "And what do you have to say?"

Xavier looks downwards, quietly. "Well… I know what Gary can do. I don't really know with you so uh… I thought you were the bigger threat. No offence."

Katrina groans. "Frankly I'm pissed at all of you except for Bob. However…," she sighs. "I guess from a game perspective. I hate to say that makes sense." She simply shakes her head. "Still, screw you all and especially screw you for forcing me here Chris, I hope you fall into a pit of angry promo bots that rip you apart." With that, the intern stomps away.

Bob then looks around, annoyed before saying, "cool… thanks for letting me know Xavier." Xavier looks over at Bob guiltily.

Confessional:

Bob:

"Would I have joined in?" Bob questions rhetorically. "To be completely honest, probably not. But I would have understood and not blabbed to Katrina about it." He then sighs. "I still want to be friends with him, but this kind of proved to me he can't be fully trusted from a gameplay perspective."

"I can forgive Jemma because one, we just got on the same page again, and two, she sort of alluded to it in our chat with the whole prior commitments thing. Xavier straight up lied to me and said he was voting Gary out."

Xavier:

"Man, I should have let Bob know I was changing my mind," Xavier sighs, annoyance in his voice. "It was a last-minute decision too, I was even tossing up when I was on my way to vote in the confessional." He facepalms. "I hope he isn't too hurt by this, I genuinely do think he's probably the best friend I have here that I'm not currently basically dating."

Confessional Ends:

Without another word, Bob turns around and walks away. Xavier puts his hand up for a moment as if to try and get his attention, before putting it back down.

"If any of you want to watch the Tiger's elimination, then just get up from the stumps and watch from the back if you really want to."

Jemma and Xavier shrug before Gary walks towards the fireworks.

Over there, Katrina walks over to the rocket, before Gary quickly runs over. "Before you go, I want to say something first."

"Sure, what is it?" Katrina rolls her eyes. "Here to rub it in?"

"Not really rub it in per-se," Gary walks over and kicks Katrina in the stomach, causing her to double over in pain. "PAYBACKS A BITCH, ISN'T IT!" He screams out in delight, before cackling in delight at his win.

"Y'know what?" Katrina sighs, standing up and clutching her stomach. "Fair enough, I deserved that after the last challenge, I was getting pretty competitive the last couple of days." She then chuckles. "I'm still gonna laugh at you when you're hanging out with me at the loser resort though. I'd say the furthest you can make it is probably the final four."

"Nobody likes a sore loser," Gary smirks back.

"And nobody likes a sore winner either."

"Well, I'll be sure to remind you that you said that when I win and have that million bucks."

"Keep telling yourself that," Katrina shrugs. "Anyways, don't you have the other elimination to watch?"

"Eh, doesn't matter who goes on the Tigers really, I just wanted to rub my win into your face."

"Okay, whatever," Katrina shrugs. "You won, at least try to be somewhat graceful."

"Is that annoyance I sense?" Gary desperately says. "Cause I think that might be annoyance."

"If you want to think it's that, then sure." Gary's eye twitches at Katrina's response.

Confessional:

Gary:

"WHY IS SHE SO CALM!?" Gary yells out in anger. "She's eliminated! Gone! Finito! Outta here! What's she got to be so happy about?"

Confessional Ends:

"Whatever," Gary groans. "I'm outta here, enjoy loserville."

"Sure, bye dude, have fun in the game."

"Ugh!" The Theatre Kid yells before stomping away.

Elimination Ceremony 11 (Electric Tigers Elimination 6):

"And now it's time for the Tigers to send someone home!" Chris smirks as in front of him, the Tigers all sit down. Carol, Susan and Rory sit in the back and Jake and Lauren in the front.

"Good luck everyone," Jake says to the group.

"Yeah… good luck," Susan adds, a confident expression in Lauren's direction.

Suddenly, Gary stomps past, annoyed as Jemma and Xavier look on confused.

"What's his problem?" Lauren questions, everyone's eyes turn to the two Lions as they shrug.

"Who knows?" Chris says. "Anyways, we've got a schedule to keep up with, so go on and vote."

"Do you want to take your time or not?" Lauren questions.

"Gotta have that point between making it take too long and being done straight away," Chris says back. "Now's enough time, so just go and vote."

Lauren stands up with a shrug before walking over to cast her vote. She quickly turns around and sends a pleading expression to Carol, who looks downwards, pained.

Once Carol returns as the last voter and Chris has watched the votes, the host walks over to the microphone. "And now it's time we figured out the other half of the merge! In front of me? Five hopeful winners? On this plate? Four hotdogs. Some will be 'three' of the bottom two, but one unlucky contestant will be going home!"

"Great, you can count down from five," Susan rolls her eyes. "Can we get on with this?"

"Fine, whatever, ruin the fun," Chris rolls his eyes. "The first hot dogs of the ceremony go to… Jake… and Carol."

The two contestants walk up to get their hotdogs.

Confessional:

Jake:

"Looks like I'm in the merge," Jake nods. "I can team up with Xavier now… that's good at least."

Carol:

"If you asked me at the start if I thought I'd make the merge, I'd probably lie to you and say yeah." She then sighs. "That… isn't my biggest concern right now though."

Confessional Ends:

"Bottom three! The next merger is… Susan."

Susan looks at Rory, who nods back to her before she runs over and grabs a hot dog.

Confessional:

Susan:

Susan haughtily laughs. "That's how I roll! And I think I'm pretty well positioned in the merge. Especially since Lauren's going." She then pauses, "I don't know why she voted against Rory specifically though, but eh, doesn't matter."

Confessionals End:

Rory and Lauren sit, both looking ahead determined, "And now we're left with our bottom two! Lauren, you've gotten a good amount of the team to dislike you due to potentially suspicious activities and roles in eliminations."

"All unsubstantiated!" Lauren calls out quickly.

"As for Rory," Chris continues, ignoring Lauren. "Not only did you lose your part of the challenge, but you're socially popular and could potentially be part of a powerful group in the merge, making you a big threat overall. It was a 3-2 vote today, but the eliminated camper is…."

.

.

.

.

.

Rory smiles, looking over to Lauren who giggles and says, "I don't know why you're so happy." In response, Susan and Rory look at each other confused.

This is answered by Chris calling out, "Rory. You've got a one-way ticket to Fireworksville!"

"Wait what?" Susan and Rory question in unison. Lauren quickly runs up and grabs her hotdog.

"Didn't you have three votes though?" The jock questions his ally.

"I did?" Susan adds, confused. "Heck, I could swear I had four."

Confessional:

Lauren:

"Nice try, but you can't get rid of me that easily," Lauren says with a grin on her face. "It's time for the merge now though."

Confessional Ends:

"Guilty," Jake raises a hand. "You voted out Nadia and then tried to get a three-person group together in the final nine… I got desperate."

"I… guess that makes sense," Susan begins before her eyes go wide in realisation and shock.

"Carol…," Susan begins. "Don't tell me…."

"You're not my only friend," Carol tries to defend herself. "Lauren was really sad about it and I… didn't want to betray her like that. This felt really bad to do…."

"Carol…," Susan begins, a pained expression. "I thought we were friends." Carol looks at her horrified.

"We-we are though, don't say that."

"Could have fooled me," Susan says, before turning back to Rory. Lauren watches the scene with a smirk.

Confessional:

Lauren:

"I explained it to Morgan and Jake earlier, but I guess I should explain again to you all what 'Operation Cupid' was just in case you missed it. You see, if we get Susan and Rory back together and then I manipulate Carol to vote Rory off with us, yes it keeps Susan in the game, but it throws her off majorly, more than it would have been if we got Susan out and kept Rory in."

"Obviously, they're not making out or anything, but we got them to be allies again. Anyways, now Susan's going to turn against Carol and I don't have to worry about the two of them teaming up anymore, at least for a while."

Confessional Ends:

Rory sighs as he stands up. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't annoyed… but good luck to all of you." He then turns to Susan and says. "Let's talk again after the season."

"I'll win for you," Susan frowns.

"I know you'll try to," Rory simply responds. "Good luck."

The Jock then starts to walk away as Chris walks over to the remaining Tigers.

"And to the winners, go the spoils." Chris drops a cardboard box in front of them, which the remaining four look in. Jake pulls out a small device with an antenna on top and a beeping display on the screen.

"What… are these?"

"Hang on a sec," Carol notes, pressing a power button. "These look a bit like… radars." The screen shows six blips on the screen.

"How do you even know that?" Lauren asks her.

"I've read a lot of comics," the superhero pointedly responds. "These look exactly like ones in a few of the Owlman comics from the early 2000s."

"They do?" Chris questions. "Huh… well they are radars, and they'll be of use to you four in the next challenge. The first post-merge one!"

"You keep mentioning that," Jake notes, an annoyed expression on his face.

"Cause it's important. Also, there's gonna be a slight change of living arrangements here after the merge," Chris begins to explain. "Same goes for the Lions too," this causes the two remaining Lions there to also perk up.

Chris then reveals, "we're going back to All Stars rules with the spa hotel. Win the challenge, and you get the hotel, lose, and you guys are gonna be sleeping in the cabins, most here, for the first time ever. Today's the last challenge for the Tigers to get a free pass in there."

The four Tigers look on surprised while the two Lions cheer in the background.

Confessional:

Jemma:

"Yes!" Jemma cheers. "I swear, I could use whatever's in there, massage or not!"

Lauren:

"Guess I need to win every challenge now," Lauren thinks out loud. "Oh who am I kidding, I'd love to sleep in the cabins at least once, they're a massive part of Total Drama history."

Confessional Ends:

"Okay campers, with that out of the way, enjoy your last days in teams, the game's about to get even more difficult!"

As most of the campers still there go to walk off, Carol tentatively walks over towards Susan, sitting back on her stump. "I'm… I'm so-."

"I don't want to hear it, Carol," Susan begins, barely controlled rage in her voice. "Don't you dare talk to me right now," is all she can venomously spit before walking away.

Jake and Lauren turn around to watch the scene from several meters away, a look of guilt on the guy's face, while the girl glares, not even smirking.

Confessional:

Jake:

"I had a part to play in this," Jake admits with a sigh. "It's not even the outcome I feel guilty about, I needed to get one of them out. It's the fallout I feel bad for. I know she chose to flip but… poor Carol."

Lauren:

"Susan's such a hypocrite," Lauren comments, angrily. "I can't believe I'm the one saying this, but considering the whole 'woe is me, please love me again' thing she had after Morgan's elimination maybe she should be more accepting of a friend making a mistake?" She then takes a deep breath before continuing.

"It's all according to plan right now, this is what I wanted her to do… but it's surprisingly really annoying to see actually happen."

-

Susan:

"The moment I showed weakness to Rory, he got booted and someone I thought was my friend betrayed me. Why am I such an idiot!" She yells angrily. "This is all my fault! I can't even go see Rory blast off…."

Confessional Ends:

The scene cuts to Rory walking over to the fireworks, sighing in defeat.

"Oh, you're the one that got booted?" Katrina asks him before he nods. "Well, I have to say… I didn't actually expect that."

"Don't remind me," Rory dryly comments before sighing again.

"Didn't expect it either?" Rory pauses at Katrina's comment before sighing.

"Do we ever?" Rory questions.

"Some do, but I guess neither of us did."

"I'll probably be alright in a few minutes though," Rory admits.

"Well, well, well," Chris smirks, walking over. "It's time to say goodbye to our last two pre-mergers! Both are pretty strong physical threats too. Do you two have any last words?"

"You've gotten all of mine," Katrina defiantly and simply says, before turning away.

"Well, as for me uh… good luck I guess everyone, I hope you can all have a good time in the game I guess… I don't know really, I'm really just sad about my elimination, not mad, or like I want to wish people good luck, I just want to wallow in self-pity for a few moments."

"Well that's just boring then," Chris sighs. "R-really? Nothing?"

"Uh. I guess. This is my uh… very late shoutout to my team, I promised I was going to and I never got around to it. How's it going, Alex!? Oliver! James! John! Larry! Greg! And Fredrick!"

"Okay, seriously?" Chris complains, angrily.

"Ooh, while you're at it, how about the cheerleaders too?" Katrina says quickly, noting Chris' annoyance.

"Alright. Well, there's Alex, Connie, Le-."

"Wasn't Alex one of the people on your team?" Katrina questions.

"Oh, they're two different people," Rory admits. "Alexander and Alexandria, cousins actually."

"They're cousins?" Katrina asks.

"Yeah, they make it a joke someti-."

"Okay, that's it!" Chris yells before unceremoniously pressing the button to launch the fireworks and sending the two of them flying away screaming.

"That's the elimination over and done with," Chris grumbles in annoyance. "Let's see the fallout and then we can sign off for the day."

The scene changes to a few minutes later as Xavier walks over to Gary. He starts with, "about that deal."

"Yeah, don't worry," Gary waves his hand dismissively. "You and Bob will be safe from me next time, I have other targets to go with anyways."

"Good." Xavier nods before he then walks away.

Confessional:

Gary:

"Since I'm in the merge, I can focus on the Tigers as well," Gary notes. "Not the way I wanted it to go at this point, I would have hoped he picked anyone but Bob, but still, I can manoeuvre."

Confessionals End:

Xavier then walks over to Jake, currently on his way back to the cabin before saying, "Hey, can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure, what's up?" Jake questions.

Xavier pauses before beginning. "Well when you and I were walking to our challenge, you sort of told me that we were uh… basically going out."

Jake blushes. "I… really did," he awkwardly comments.

"We never really officially started, y'know?"

Jake pulls Xavier behind a building, saying. "Well we basically are, aren't we? All we need to do is officially start."

"You said when you were ready," Xavier notes.

"I… did, didn't I?"

"Yeah." Jake pauses, before nodding.

"Do you want to uh… actually start it?"

Jake pauses, a smile slowly forming on his face before he says, "Yeah. But…," Xavier pauses.

"What's up?"

"I… don't want to kiss or anything right now. If you really want to do it, then can we do that after the season when we're not on camera?"

Xavier shrugs. "I can agree to that."

"Really?" Jake's eyes are wide in surprise.

"Yeah, I'm fine with that," the two guys then hug, before pulling apart.

"Thank you…," Jake smiles.

"No worries," Xavier smiles.

"We should… we should probably go back to our teams," Jake states. "Seriously though. You really want to do this?"

"Definitely," Xavier nods before the two quickly hug again and walk off to their teams.

A few hours later, Carol lies in bed, sighing. She rolls over seeing Susan lying in the bed next to her asleep, causing her to look away sadly.

The Comic nerd quickly stands up, before leaving forlornly. After walking downstairs, she walks over to a couch before sitting down on it, starting to try and fall asleep again.

The scene changes to Chris and Chef watching the cameras as he says, "From more to less than half left, we're down to eight! Now that the teams are going to be merged, what will happen next? How will campers manage not being on teams? And who is gonna fall first in the most heart-pounding and death-defying merge of all time? Find out… well, soon at least, on TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!"

After signing off, Chris quickly walks away before pulling out his phone, muttering, "you better answer the phone this time."

In the B section, he presses a name before attempting to call the person again. It, yet again, fails to go through.

"Come on!" Chris yells in annoyance.

"What try was that?" Chef asks, walking over. "Two hundred?"

"Oh shut up," Chris glares at his friend.

"Whatever," Chef stands around bored as Chris dials again.

"Just pick up!" Chris yells in annoyance.

After a few more rings, the call finally goes through.

"Why have you called me like, two hundred times today?" An annoyed voice calls out through the phone line, loud enough to be heard. Chef smirks at Chris.

"Don't say anything, Chef," Chris glares in annoyance.

"Heck, how do you have my number?" The person asks. "It's changed several times."

"Trust me, I wouldn't be calling you if I didn't need you."

"Need me?" The voice comments, before she begins to laugh. "Oh, this is rich. Your show ruins my life and then you come crawling back to me after I claw some of my success back. Screw you, McLean."

"It's about Total Drama," Chris quickly says. "After this season, I'm done."

The voice on the other end starts to laugh even harder. "Serves you right!"

"Hey, I'm giving you basic respect here, I set your name as 'Blaineley' on my phone. I could have always just set it to Mildred."

The voice, now revealed to be Blaineley, now gets annoyed. "Don't you dare call me that name. Anyways, what the heck do you even want from me then? Here to cry about being fired? You probably did something to deserve it anyways, and even if it didn't, this is just karma for everything else you've done."

Chris groans, annoyed before saying, "Firstly. You've done bad things too. Secondly, I don't know, you're a producer now, get me back in the show!"

"I'm not one for Total Drama! I'm in a completely different area now! Anyways, it's a director, not a producer, at least… not often anyways."

I can't believe you actually got Blaineley," Chef shakes his head.

"Put me on speaker," Blaineley simply states. As Chris does as he is told she says, "Yeah, It'sme, long time no see."

"How are you a producer? Weren't you only a host?"

"Director actually," Blaineley corrects him. "As for why, well, turns out the editors made a very unflattering portrayal of me in the edit of World Tour, to the point where nobody wanted me back in any hosting roles. I still thought I deserved to be in the industry and had more than enough money to go to film school for one of my other passions, so I changed jobs and became a director and occasional producer, but sure as heck not for Total Drama."

"I'm sorry that happened," Chef admits awkwardly.

"Well, I respect you far more than I respect Chris, so did you get fired too?"

"Nah, I'm in the clear," Chef responds. Blaineley chuckles at this before continuing.

"Then it's no skin off my nose, screw you, Chris!"

"Wait!" Chris suddenly yells. "What if I tell you, if the idea I have succeeds, you'll be above me on the totem pole? You'll be the director, producer, whatever it is, telling me what to do in the next seasons. That means you'll have a lot of creative control."

"Chris… do you know that being a producer means having the money to get the show into production?"

"Okay, whatever, but the creative control thing is still true."

"Well, tell me what this plan is then," Blaineley frowns.

Chris groans, "Well, if we get another person involved, we can get them to buy the studio, keep my job, and put you as the head honcho creatively when it comes to Total Drama. I know you'll probably love nothing more than screwing with me."

"Messing with you out of revenge would be fun," Blaineley agrees, before saying. "Hey, wait a second, why am I agreeing with you? Anyways, who's this other person you have in mind?"

"There's this kid on this season, Alfred, he's a rich kid, got booted first. His dad is Archie Stockton."

"The one from Dotatone?"

"Yeah, we can convince him and we're golden!"

Blaineley pauses, "Why would he want to get into television?"

"He probably doesn't want to right now, but here's where you come in!"

"I'm going to regret this," Blaineley sighs. "But what and why do you want me to do here?"

"For the why, as much as I hate to say it, you're better at putting a presentation to convince people than I am. Plus, I'm gonna be hosting most of the time with Chef, I need someone on the outside for this."

"Don't try to flatter me, Chris. Anyway, what's the what here?"

"Get a meeting with him, convince him to buy the network and then put you in charge of the reality tv division."

"So, let's run this through again," Blaineley responds over the phone, frustrated. "You want me to get in contact with Archie Stockton, and convince him to somehow buy the studio."

"Or the copyright to Total Drama, that works too, I don't care either way."

Several seconds of silence pass before Blaineley groans. "As long as I'm in control creatively, okay? I'll join under that condition."

"Deal!" Chris cheerfully responds.

"That raises another question then," Blaineley adds. "How am I going to even get in contact with Archie? He's a very busy man."

"Easy," Chris explains. "We're visiting the losers next episode, basically so they can have more screen time. I'll get the kid to give me his dad's number. Then it's all yours and you can begin convincing him!"

"And how far into the season are you? I just want to check."

"Started with eighteen and we're about to hit the merge with eight! Just finished filming episode eleven."

Blaineley falls silent, before sighing.

"Convincing him, then buying the show back… this is going to take several months at least, you are aware of that… right?"

"Really? I thought it was just like… a few days, it can't be that hard to buy a show, you can buy a bag of chips for a couple bucks straight away, aren't shows like that as well?"

"Are you being serious right now?" Blaineley asks. "I mean… even when I was a host I knew things took time to start, you have red tape to go through. Also, a bag of chips?"

Chris quickly says. "Look, as long as they don't start an entirely new season while I'm out It doesn't matter as long as you and Stockton get me my job back."

"Again, not guaranteeing it," Blaineley responds. "But fine… text me the details tomorrow and I'll start getting a presentation together to convince 'Pompous McBritish' to help us."

"Will do," Chris nods. "Again, thanks."

An annoyed Blaineley simply responds, "Don't mention it… seriously, don't," before hanging up. Chris sits up, much happier.

"Hear that Chef! I might be back in business soon!"

"Yeah… might." Chef then stretches before saying. "Well, you feeling better?"

"Much better!" Chris happily says before saying. "You can't get rid of Chris McLean that easily!"

On that note, the episode fades out.

Voting Confessionals (Frozen Lions)

Bob: "Gary is done for! Serves you right for blackmailing me all that time!"

Gary: "I'm not going home that easily Katrina. Have fun wherever you call home, whether it's a house or whatever shed Chris keeps you interns until you're useful for another season. I'll make sure to visit with my million. Maybe even give you five bucks, I'll have a lot to spare."

Jemma: "I'd say getting tenth place is a significant enough rank to get interviews from talk shows and all that I guess? Sorry Katrina, at least me thinking you're more threatening than Gary is sort of a compliment?"

Katrina: "I'd have to be stupid not to vote Gary. I'm targeting him and he's trying to target me, it's only fair. Anyways, after this, I'll hopefully have Bob in my back pocket, and having him on my side is going to be a big plus for me."

Xavier: "Well… I'm the deciding vote. Hoo boy…. Gary's a jerk, but he's someone I know basically all the tricks from… Katrina is strategic, but I don't know. My heart says vote off Gary, but my brain says, Katrina. Deciding vote… Gary did promise to not vote for me or Bob next time if I keep him in. I don't fully trust him, but he has to have other targets he can turn to… fine… Katrina, it's nothing personal, no hard feelings, okay?"

Voting Confessionals (Electric Tigers)

Carol: "I dunno who I want to vote for! Lauren's who Susan wants, but she's my friend… at the same time though… I don't want to hurt Susan." A moment later, she pauses before sighing. "I'm going to have to hurt someone though… and I guess out of the two of them… I trust Lauren more right now. Sorry, Rory… I hope you can forgive me for voting you out."

Jake: "Rory… I know we get along, so don't take this personally, but you're a physical and social threat, and I kind of have to work with Lauren here."

Lauren: "Rory's not only the only possible elimination I can orchestrate right now, but also the one that gives me the best outcome overall. But hey, the dude was never gonna be on my side here, so it's all good."

Rory: "Seeing as Susan and I cleared things up, I think it's fair to vote out Lauren with her. Especially considering I straight up said I would."

Susan: "Bye Lauren, make sure the exhaust from the fireworks doesn't burn you on the way out… I need to get better at insults."

Bonus Clip:

Richard, Nadia and Alfred stand around at the beach of Playa De Losers, watching out for any rockets coming down.

"Any guesses on who's the boot?" Nadia questions the duo, bored. Both Alfred and Richard react with minor surprise, causing the girl to question, "What?"

"Richard usually asks the first question," Alfred notes.

Nadia raises an eyebrow, "And it's a problem that I did because?"

"No, it's not," Richard quickly clarifies, "We just didn't expect it." Richard then pauses and says. "Well… as for who gets eliminated, I'm going to guess Jemma."

"Why her?" Nadia asks.

"No real reason," Richard responds, "I do not have any guesses on who the boot should be so I picked her name randomly."

"That's just boring," Nadia rolls her eyes.

"Well if you want my guess," Alfred starts haughtily.

"Not really."

"I think it'll be Gary joining us here!" Alfred completely ignores Nadia's indifference.

"Is it just because you don't like him?" Richard questions him.

"N-no!" Alfred jumps in to defend himself. "It's far more complex than that! His team doesn't like him! He can't manoeuvre around forever."

"But it's also because you don't like him… right?" Nadia adds.

Alfred pauses for a few seconds before saying, "yes…."

Suddenly, the firework lands as the screams of the eliminated campers ring out.

"There they are," Richard notes.

"Well, let's see who it is!" Nadia smirks, before walking over and noticing Katrina. "Well, this is certainly a surprise."

"Shut up!" Katrina complains. "I got outplayed, okay?"

"Well, you don't mind if I ask you a few questions?" Richard questions as he walks over.

"I do actually," Katrina groans.

"I wasn't asking," Richard admits back with a glare, Katrina raises her eyebrow, but stops as the Boring Guy asks his first question. "What went wrong?"

"Not making sure Xavier and Jemma were on my side, for one thing, maybe making my plan to take Gary out so obvious too, if I kept it more secret he wouldn't have been as motivated to target me."

"Interesting," Richard adds. "Who do you wish to win?"

"Bob didn't flip on me," Katrina explains, "so him probably."

"Understandable," Richard responds.

"I'm asking the next one," Nadia quickly butts in. "What's your biggest regret?"

"But I-," Richard starts, confused.

"Again," Katrina begins. "Not making sure Jemma or Xavier were on my side, I thought that was obvious."

"Well that's just boring then," Nadia frowns.

"I'm just happy I'm done with this show at this point," Katrina rolls her eyes. "I don't have to deal with Total Drama anymore, especially since I was getting a bit too into the game."

"Would you do it again then?" Richard questions.

"Unless I'm either forced to or have a good chance of getting interviews again, then no." Katrina shrugs, "for now though, I can chill."

"Interesting."

"By the way, are there any Chris pictures around?" Katrina questions, "I can make us a bonfire if you all want."

"There's probably a few somewhere," Alfred shrugs.

"It seems like we're done then," Richard notes as everyone starts to walk away. That is until another voice calls out.

"Is anyone gonna untie me?" Everyone pauses at this comment.

"Was that another person?" Richard asks. "Was today a double elimination?"

"Oh, yeah," Katrina shrugs before walking around the rocket and untying Rory, who falls to the ground.

"Thanks for noticing me," the Jock groans.

"Two interviews?" Richard questions. "Very well."

"Hey Richard," Rory says as he stands up. "Sorry about voting for you, no hard feelings, right?" Richard's eyes narrow.

"All the hard feelings, actually." The Boring Guy mutters.

"Huh?" Rory responds, not having heard him.

"No hard feelings whatsoever," Richard quickly says.

"Sweet," Rory smiles.

"What are your thoughts on your elimination?"

"You win some, you lose some, ya know?" The Jock shrugs. "I'm a little annoyed about Carol voting for me, but losing in and of itself, I'm alright with, you can't win everything."

"How quaint," Richard comments. "As for who you want to be booted?"

"You'd expect me to say, Carol," Rory starts. "But no though. I'm a little annoyed at her, but she was played. Lauren played her so I guess I'd pick Lauren if I was forced to… I know Susan hates her but I'm… not really that mad at her beyond the whole voting me off thing, but even then that's just a game move."

"Wow, seems like you're actually pretty alright with your elimination."

"Yeah," Rory admits. "Again, you can't win them all," he shrugs.

"Well, if that's all you really want to say, then you can go too."

"Sweet."

"I'm off too then," Nadia states before following Katrina and Rory.

"Looks like we're done here," Alfred notes.

"Indeed," Richard responds. "Who will be eliminated next on Total Drama Elemental Islands? Find out soon." The camera then fades away, ending the bonus clip.

12th: Myron (The Ungifted Nerd)

18th: Alfred (The Influential Rich Kid)

So… there's one part of this chapter I should probably be talking about as soon as possible, so let's get into that….

About that double elimination. This was to make up for episode 8. This was the best spot to put the double elimination 'cause it doesn't mess up the merge too much and it gave me more time with Myron, which he needed to justify his elimination.

Speaking of eliminations, Katrina and Rory got sent home? Well, they both needed to go because this was the merge that worked out the best for me. Katrina and Rory didn't work as well for plots and the like.

Well, I'll start with Rory. Funny thing. He was always slotted in as the final pre-merge elimination in 9th place. The idea of eight contestants being in the merge never changed, and it was ironically, the eight that are still in. Speaking of Rory always being 9th. Rory is actually one of the very few campers to never change ranks at any point in my plans, the only one so far that joins him is Alfred (I thought Tegan as well, but I checked my first order and she actually had a different spot, which surprised me), and there's one more in this club that I'll get to later when that contestant goes home (This is assuming I don't change their rank last minute like with Hannah and Megan lol).

As for Rory's character… I've got to admit, I feel like I've done him dirty. He's not gotten much to do aside from stuff with Susan and I do have regrets about this, he's a character that I feel should have had more stuff to do, but I couldn't think of what to fit in. I'll try to fix that if/when he gets used again.

As for the other elimination. I did briefly consider bringing Katrina into the merge. However, with my current episode structure, especially with the non-elimination in episode 8 and the double elimination I'd have to fit somewhere, it caused too many issues for the season in the future to not do here.

Anyways, Katrina already got an improvement from my current plans. She was 11th until I realised I had more to do with her than Nadia and that her going last episode would be a cop-out and so I swapped her and Nadia's ranks around.

Katrina is someone who surprised me. She got sort of pushed to the side a decent amount of the time, which I didn't actually expect. However, I think I did at least decently well with her when she was in the spotlight.

[1]: So, funny thing. The archery challenge was actually going to be Carol and Katrina's challenge in planning while Jemma and Susan were gonna get the sprint. I wasn't paying attention to the plan when I wrote that part (and I didn't have the planning document open either). This led to the challenges accidentally being the other way around instead. I didn't notice until I was a good way into the archery challenge as well lol. I didn't want to get rid of all the work I did though so changed it lmao.

[2]: If anyone gets the thing I'm referencing you have a based childhood for knowing my stupidly obscure and probably obtuse references.

[3]: Get it? Stuntman? Daredevil? Lmao, I'm way too proud of this joke. I'm also way too proud of that Speedy joke as well, but two birds with one stone.

Anyways, I hope you all had a good time reading this episode, I hope you look forward to what I have planned for the future! See you in the next episode!
