Prologue III: The News Spreads Far and Wide

A day has passed since Seema's vengeful encounter with Sarika. The news spread hours after the incident and everyone was sure the entire London had heard of the scene. The news even spread across the globe in six hours. It spreads on social media like wildfire, with hashtags like #SaveShari, #ShreyaYogesh, and #StopSeema trending worldwide. The entire world had one question in mind: how was this possible?

No one believes in magic, or as Sarika thought. Little did everyone know that the hashtag #TotalDrama was also trending. She, under certain circumstances relating to Seema, had already contacted a company that could help them in making their show. At first, they received laughs for an answer. But thanks to the ultimate power of a mother's love for her daughter, it was made possible.

When Sarika had received the papers she needed, she sat on a rather sophisticated looking couch just in the lobby area. The place itself looked more sleek, as if they weren't actually located in the bustling heart of London, but it fits the corporate look and Sarika's tastes to an extent.

"Updates?" Seema sneered at the museum owner, checking her magical staff if it bore any cracks or fissures. When she found none, she tapped it on the ground and held onto it as the green glow on top fainted away.

"The audition process is now open." Sarika sighed, as if defeat was right upon her. "I don't think anyone would be auditioning for this, let alone right after an incident concerning it. I made sure that this wasn't a whole scam. The audience can send in donations too if they'd like…"

Seema burst out a wave of maniac laughter that filled the voids of the entire building. The witch herself wasn't fully in the plan and Sarika could only look even more dejected than ever. "You think this would work? You think the world will even listen to us? Let alone you? Hah!" She shouted. "There's absolutely no way the whole world will listen to your plea— you are just some random museum owner in London. Nothing more."

"Well, I am a mother." Sarika smiled towards the witch, contrasting her obnoxiously negative nature. "And I would do everything for Shari even if the whole world is against me. Who knows, maybe someone in the world who has heard of us may help you find Shreya…

…we just need a matter of time."

Dawn here! Thank you so much for being patient with me on this one! This prologue is just as shabby as the previous one I'm afraid, but it's still relevant to the plot in some way.

So first of all, why final(?)? This is because the cast will be extended. Yes. Meaning we're going above 16 people for this one. How many though, I don't know. I wanted to make sure that the cast is manageable despite it being extended. There are still a few considerations and a few characters that I really want to write due to the plotlines of this season, and a couple of apps I received just a while ago were still in progress so I wanted to give some time for those who are still completing them. (There was even an instance where I already had a character from someone accepted into the roster but I wanted to check their other character that was submitted minutes before this update lol). However, no more new apps will be considered as of this rate.

When will the final cast update be? In about an hour or so. Tonight before midnight, along with the secret prologue. Please look forward to it!
