Prologue IV: The River Flows
The full moon's soft glow radiated on a spot in the starry London sky about a week prior. There were leaves rustling from the trees that surrounded the vicinity, and the sounds of water rushing loudly nearby.
A young girl, around the age of thirteen, sat on the lush grass with her eyes closed and her body unconscious. She had tanned skin onto her and damp black hair from being on the waters too long. Her brown school uniform looked extremely damped and some parts were even starting to tear. Her left black shoe was also missing, presumably sailing further away into the river.
"Ugh…" the girl groaned, struggling to sit up only to sit back down again. Her head was pounding as if the network of nerves in her system were struggling to explode. She felt limp as if she got hit by a car.
"Help!" She pleaded, in hopes for a random stranger to come to her aid. But to her dismay, there was no one. Absolutely no one. Fear rose within her system and adrenaline began to hit her up like a bad storm. She suddenly had the strength to sit back up. She was wondering how she got there…
…But for some reason, she felt like she didn't know anything.
Can she remember her name?
She tried to think.
No.
Does she remember where she came from?
No.
However, a blurry vision hazed its way into her memory. She could see a girl, a beautiful girl with curly hair smiling with her with a cigar in her hands. She was gorgeous. She felt like she had some sort of connection to her for a long time. She could feel like she was saying something to her, something that made her smile.
Suddenly, she felt like she was falling. She then felt a sharp pain on her head…
…and everything went black.
Her face was all wet thanks to the droplets that were casted from her damp hair. But these were starting to mix with bitter tears. She did not know what to do. She did not know where to go. She doesn't even remember who she was.
She fumbled her uniform, her personage, herself, and she could feel some sort of name tag above her breast pocket. She took it out and read it with her mind.
Shreya Yogesh.
She was alive.
So SHREYA IS ALIVE EVERYONE! It's actually hinted so much in the previous prologues but at least there is something that can help Seema calm down, no? Lol.
As I promised, the final real cast list update is now! I am so glad I managed to finalize everything before midnight and I am so excited to write everyone! It was so much fun (and torturous lol) to select the cast from around eighty (yes, 80) submissions that were sent to me lol. I guess this is what happens if you currently have no competition. :P
