Now, At this point, we should be more likely to skip a few years, Three at the least because if we were to see the whole time Carrie was being trained, the story would be longer than it should.

Anyways, Carrie advanced well in the Jedi Teachings, In the last five years, She took to the ways of the lightsaber like a fish to water, learning many of its techniques and a sense of grace she never knew before, And as the years went on, So did her connection to the force.

One day, Carrie stood ready in the Temple Dojo, Her lightsaber in hand, Unignited by at the ready, At the opposite end stood a Twi'lek Jedi Knight, Aayla Secura, Who stood with her own lightsaber drawn, Master Cin Drallig stood between Both sparring partners and prepared to give the world, He was a Middle Aged Man, with long hair and standard Jedi Robes.

"Begin."

Both combatants ignited their lightsabers and engaged, Blue clashed against Blue as the two Jedi fought for dominance, They quickly broke off and began jabbing and parrying each other, Countering each move the other made.

Aayla made a downward slash at the young woman, Who quickly held up her own Blade to block it, Than sent a front kick into Aayla, , who staggered back a bit, before she suddenly crouched down, and swept Carrie off her feet, sending her crashing to the ground, And before she could get back up, Aayla pointed her blade down at her in Victory.

"You are beaten." Secura said with a hint of smugness.

Carrie gritted her teeth and slammed a fist onto the floor. "Damn it!"

It was the Upteenth time the Twi'lek had bested Carrie in Lightsaber combat, Carrie usually did well against most opponents, Especially Skywalker, But when it came to Aayla…

"And I was sure I almost had her this time," Carrie thought to herself.

"Well, I can safely say that was an excellent match." Said Master Drallig as Carrie rose to her feet. "I believe we can call that a rap for today, Padawan you and Aayla may be dismissed."

"Yes Master." Said Aayla, As she and Carrie left the room.

"I still don't know how you do it." Carries said as they walked together along the halls, Now Carrie actually liked Aayla, She was a genuinely kind soul, A Rutian Blue Twi'lek from the Planet Ryloth, And had been one of Carrie's first friends since she was inducted into the Order, Sometimes, At least to Carrie anyway, She almost reminded her of Sue…

Carrie shook these last thoughts out of her head as Aayla spoke.

"Well, you almost made it too easy." She shrugged. "You've still got a long way to go in Lightsaber combat Carrie, Such an art is not casually learned over night."

"I've been at it for the past Two Years." Said Carrie. "And I'm pretty sure I've got the hang of

It, mostly…"

"Hmm, There are a few improvements you could make." Said Aayla. "For instance, You focus too much on trying to push back your opponent, next time, try to outmaneuver them at the next strike, that way you can still keep the element of surprise on your side."

Carrie nodded. "Yeah, I'll remember that next time."

"Anyway, I'd best be going." Said Aayla, As she turned around a corner. "I'll see you around Carrie."

"Sure, Bye Aayla." Said Carrie, and with that, she headed down to the Temple Courtyard.

Later that night.

Carrie stood in her stance, A pile of Jedi texts about Lightsaber combat layed off to the side as she practiced form II, Makashi, swinging her lightsaber around at imagined foes, jabbing, blocking, parrying all around her, Carrie had already mastered Form I by now, and began working her way up to From III, Soresu, and the Form IV, Ataru.

As she began to take the Soresu stance, she did not notice Master Yoda coming up behind her and watched as she practiced.

"Hmm, A bit late is it not?"

Carrie stopped in her exercise and turned to face her master. "Master Yoda." She said, as she bowed. "I was just… brushing up on my skills."

Yoda smiled. "Good, Good, Always good, Practice is, Keeps a Jedi's instincts sharp it does, very important."

"I think I'm already getting the hang of Sorsue." Said Carrie. "I'm.. not exactly sure about Ataru though." She picked up a book and read through it.

"Form IV, Ataru, The most acrobatic form of Lightsaber combat, filled with numerous acrobatic moves, Mostly relying on a Jedi's ability to run, jump and spin… Yeah, this one's impossible."

She dropped the text on the ground and slumped down against a nearby wall.

"Hmm, Only impossible if you make it so Padawan." Said Yoda.

"Well I wasn't exactly a star athlete back on Earth." Said Carrie. "I mean, Look at this!" She picked up the book and showed Yoda the illustrations in the texts. "The required acrobatics, The needed finesse, I could never amount to that! This just asks for the impossible."

Yoda gave Carrie a hard quizzical look. "Only impossible if you make it so, It is." He said. "Trust in the force, You must."

Carrie looked at Yoda, unsure of how to respond, then with a deep sigh, She stood up and walked to the center of the Training ground, awaiting her Masters instruction.

"So… What am I supposed to do?"

"Feel the force you must." Said Yoda. "Trust in it, Guide your movements, let it, feel the force around you…"

Carrie took a few short deep breaths and closed her eyes, she felt the force itself flowed through her every being, channeling her mind into a state of impassiveness, Carrie then ignited her lightsaber and started through the motions.

Carrie twirled around her lightsaber in a concentrated pattern, Then without thinking of doing so, She shot out a sidekick into thin air! She repeated the pattern again, this time doing a flip in the process.

Yoda looked on as Carrie moved through the patterns, Ducking, Stabbing, Blocking, Flipping and kicking all through the night, By the time she was almost completely her set, She performed one final backflip and landed quickly in a crouch, Her lightsaber still dawn, And when she opened her eye's, She found Master Yoda smiling approvingly at her.

"Uh… what did I do?" She asked.

"Hmm, Very Good Padawan." Yoda said. "Very good."

The Next Morning.

Once again, Carrie stood in the Temple Dojo, facing off against Aayla once again, Master Drallig stood between them once more, With Master Yoda and Windu watching from the sides.

"So, Ready for another thrashing White?" Asked Aayla playfully.

Carrie smirked as she drew her lightsaber. "You wish."
