The Republic Cruiser soon appeared out of Hyperspace and orbited the sea world of Manaan. It was a moonless world, And its whole world was covered in Water.

Carrie looked out from the cockpit in wonder, She had nether seen a world like this up close before.

"We'll be entering the planet's atmosphere soon." Said Master Plo Koon. "Then we'll arrive at Ahto City, and meet with the local administration, with any luck, there shouldn't be… much trouble."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Anakin.

"The Selkath are not known for their… social skills in this day and age." Obi Wan Explained. "A thousand years of anti-social interaction with the rest of the galaxy has left them… Primitive, as such, their response to outside presence tends to be a bit hostile, to say the least."

"Wait, I'm pretty sure I've seen a few Selkath at the temple." Said Carrie. "They can't be that anti social."

"Yeah, And I'm pretty sure you could barely tell the difference between a Selkath and a Trodatome." Anakin said despairingly.

"Hey! At least I can." Carrie snapped. "You probably couldn't stand the moistness of this planet with your fire."

"You don't even know what that means!" Anakin retorted.

"Anakin!" Obi Wan scolded.

"We're coming through the atmosphere now." Plo announced, before the fighting could continue.

The Cruister entered the planet, They all got a good look at the world, It was made completely of Water, with no land in site, except for a large city floating atop the vast sea, Utilizing a large shell-shape, buoyancy system that involved the massive city-center, filled with hangers and landing zones, The Cruiser docked at one of these docking zones, and the Jedi disembarked.

"There's… no one here." Carrie said, as she looked around, And indeed, the place was utterly deserted from what they could see.

"The Selkath have not come above land for years." Plo Koon explained, as he pondered. "Though I would have expected a few of them to still be around…"

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Obi-Wan muttered, as they advanced towards the city.

As they made their way through the streets, the Jedi sensed an air of foreboding as they wandered through the streets, not seeing a single being coming out.

"Okay, now I'm starting to feel like somethings wrong." Anakin muttered. "I thought there was some sort of unrest going on."

"It would seem our reports were inaccurate or…" Plo trailed off as something in the force called out to him.

"I sense it too." Obi-Wan said.

Anakin suddenly leapt forward, His Lightsaber drawn as he deflected a Blaster bolt from a nearby rooftop, They all looked up to see an unseen sniper up above.

"Sniper! Take cover!" Cried Plo, as the Jedi all drew their lightsabers, and hurried into an alleyway, out of the snipers range, As a few more blaster bolts fired off, Carrie looked behind her and gasped.

The Jedi all turned to see a small group of Selkath, armed with Blasters, spears and short swords, in the same alleyway with them.

(You have no business here Jedi.) Said the Leader of the group. (You should not have come to Manaan.)

"What's going on?" Master Koon asked. "We were under the impression that your planet needed aid!"

(Not from the likes of you.) The Leader rebutted.

"What's he saying?" Carrie asked.

"What am I? A Translator Droid?!" Anakin scoffed, only to find more Selkath blocking the way they came in.

"We're here by the order of the Jedi Council to investigate a case of civil unrest."

(Unrest? On the surface, No.) Said the Leader. (But down below…)

"What do you mean down below?" Obi-Wan asked.

The Selkath all looked to each other hesitantly, before the leader spoke again.

(Come with us.) The leader said at last, as he walked past the Jedi, while his soldiers led the Jedi out of the alleyway towards elsewhere.
