C10: Steffy And Aiden.

Upstairs in Steffy's bedroom, she was sitting at a desk, typing her Christmas story up on her black laptop when there was a knock at the door.

"Come in." Steffy said.

Aiden opened the door and entered inside. "Cousin Steffy, can i talk to you a minute?" He asked as he closed the door.

"Oh, you're just the person i wanted to see." Steffy said, looking at Aiden as she got out of her chair. "Come over here and sit down." She said, referring to the bed, as she walked up to Aiden.

Aiden and Steffy went over to the bed and sat down on it.

"I've got a great title for my book. Tell me what you think. "The Train To Christmas Village"." Steffy said.

"I thought it was called "The Christmas Express". You know, similar to "The Polar Express"?" Aiden said.

"The kids in the story thought so too, but it's some else." Steffy explained.

"It has to be about that. When the train arrived in the neighborhood on Christmas Eve night in the first chapter, the ticket-guy called it "The Christmas Express", just like the ticket-guy called the train "The Polar Express" in the movie." Aiden said.

"What, you've never heard of inspiration?" Steffy said.

"Look, Steffy, i know that you're the creative one in the family, but i've got to tell you, the is messing up your book." Aiden said.

"Alright, alright, i'll lose the train part. Now, what did you wanna talk to me about?" Steffy said.

"Is Dad gonna throw Grandma out of the house?" Aiden asked.

"Oh, honey, of course not." Steffy assured. "There is no way your Dad is gonna throw her out during the week of Christmas. He's got too big of a heart. Remember the Venus Carnival incident in Paris, Texas when you and your friends were caught up in the fireworks disaster?"

"I doubt i'll ever forget it, Steffy. That day is stuck in my head." Aiden stated.

"Well, you and your parents moved away to Mississippi after that, right?" Steffy said.

"After the triple wedding at Disney World on July 4th, yeah." Aiden said.

"Well, i'm sure the move wasn't all peaches and cream at first. I'm sure you all had to make some adjustments. And that's what's happening with your Grandma now. Everyone is making adjustments. Or re-adjusting for some of us, since your Dad, cousin Thomas and i haven't seen your Grandma in such a long time. 26 Years, to be exact." Steffy explained.

"Well, i hope they finish all this adjusting/re-adjusting soon. 'Cause it's giving me a headache." Aiden said.

"Hahahahaha." Steffy laughed.
