Hey, fanfic readers! Sorry, it's taken me so long to update this story. Been busy with work and other stuff. But here's another chapter. Enjoy.
A Crazy Dilemma- Chapter 12
"No way. Besides, I'm gonna miss my flight." Vivica replied, grabbing her duffel bag and attempting to leave.
Charley got in front of her to stop her.
"You can't just avoid him." She told her.
"Watch me."
"Just because you two aren't a couple doesn't mean you still can't be friends."
"You don't get it, do you? I love him. I can't be friends."
"You have to let him go, Viv."
"Don't give me that whole 'if you love something let it go' routine!"
Suddenly, the Biker Mice From Mars flew threw a plate glass window.
"Werewolf Eradicators! At your service."Modo teased.
"Awoooo! This mouse is ready to whip some tail!" Vinnie said, holding up lit flares.
Suddenly, a crowd of people saw them. Throttle saw them at the same time.
"Rope it in, bros!" Throttle told his two comrades, then to the crowd, "We didn't mean to cause any trouble, citizens!"
"We better take this someplace less crowded." He murmured.
The mice and their female companions got away from the crowd and were outside on the roof.
"Hey, where'd those wolves go? I expected this place to be crawling with those oversized fangfaces!" Throttle asked, looking around.
" 'Fraid you guys are too late. The werewolves have flown the coop." Charley said.
"They're gone? Buzzkill. I was hoping for a fight." Vinnie huffed The adrenaline junkie looked as disappointed as a kid whose ice cream just fell in a mud puddle.
"But that doesn't make any sense." Carbine said, looking around, "Why would they just leave?"
"She's right. It doesn't make sense. Why would those scumbags attack and then just retreat? They're up to something." Throttle said, fingering his chin thoughtfully.
Vivica looked on in silence.
"Aw, man. I didn't get a chance to blast them." Vinnie pouted.
"You'll live." Charley said, sarcastically.
Within minutes, Vivica was engulfed in a big hug by Aunt Agatha.
"Oh, my poor baby! Are you alright? The pack didn't hurt you, did they?" She asked frantically.
"I'm fine, Mom." Vivica replied, flatly.
"Are you sure you're-"Throttle began.
"I said I'M FINE!" She screamed back.
Everyone stared at her in surprise at her snotty attitude.
Vivica saw them staring and calmed down.
"It's late. I'm tired. Let's go home." She replied, hand to her face.
"Of course, my dear. We'll get you home right to bed." Aunt Agatha said, taking her by the hand, "Charley, carry her bag."
The auburn haired mechanic picked up the duffel bag. Vivica began walking away followed by her mother.
The others stared after her.
"What's eating her?" Carbine asked.
...
Back at the chocolate shop, Vivica sat at the window of her room and stared at the full moon. The luminous pale moon shone its iridescent rays on the face of the wolf woman.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
She turned around to see Throttle standing in the doorway.
"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be in your room canoodling with Columbine?"
"Carbine."
"Sorry."
"No you're not."
"You're right" She teased.
"She just went back to Mars."
"Oh?"
"She leads The Freedom Fighters back on Mars. The higher-ups over her asked her to come back. It was too dangerous for her to be on Earth." Throttle explained.
"Must be bad news for you."
Vivica looked back out the window.
"Look, I'm really sorry I hurt you. Carbine and I were going through a rough patch and in a moment of weakness, we, I-"
"What weakness? It was obvious that you were interested in me from the start. We both have feelings for each other. It's cosmic. It's destiny." She replied.
"I was interested. But I love someone else. I missed her. You reminded me of her. I had no right to transfer my feelings for her to you. I'm sorry."
"Throttle...I really like you a lot." Vivica breathed.
Before the muscular tan furred leader could say anymore, Vivica had cuddled into his chest pressing her body against his. An increase heat fired the loins as well as other inappropriate parts of his body. He could feel every curve in her body through the thin, short white teddy gown she wore. She now stared up at his shocked face.
"Why don't I...cheer you up?" She purred.
"H-?" He began, but was cut off as his mouth was now covered with hers. They began kissing. Her hands caressing his back and shoulders. He responded with a degree of passion that left them speechless. His hands fondled every part of her body.
"Throttle..." She murmured, as his lips kissed behind her ear, her neck, her breasts.
Suddenly he stopped. She looked up to see him glancing out the window. She saw him stare up at the night sky. The planet Mars shone like a gleaming red star a few inches from the moon.
"Mars." He began, then looked at Vivica,"What am I doing? I'm I can't do this."
He gently pushed her away and walked away rubbing the back of his head. Vivica stared after him.
"Throttle, don't..."
"I'm sorry, Vivica, but I don't love you."
"Yeah? You didn't have any qualms about jumping my bones a few minutes ago!"
"Wait just a minute. You came on to me!"
"This isn't about pointing fingers. Besides, what were you doing in my bedroom to begin with?"
"I-I came to apologize as well as get the record straight about me and Carbine." He replied.
Throttle and Vivica suddenly looked up to hear clapping. Rayford was standing on the window sill. He now leaped into the room.
"How entertaining. Stay away from Vivica, rodent! She's not to be anyone's plaything but mine!" Rayford shouted at Throttle.
He now transformed into a wolf. Sharp pointy teeth were now bared at the tan furred mouse. Throttle activated the Nuke Knuckles on his gloved hand.
"You know I've just about had all I'm going to take from you!" Throttle said.
Vivica now transformed into a wolf and leaped in front of Rayford.
"I'm not anyone's plaything!" Vivica screamed.
"No? I can smell him all over you! Revolting!"
"What I do with him is my business."
"Not if it involves the clan. You can only be with members of the clan. What if I told Daniel about your little liaison? it wouldn't look good for you or him." Rayford replied, pointing at Throttle, "He'd be good prey for our next hunt, though."
"You leave him alone!" Vivica replied.
"I won't!" He growled.
"Come and get me, Wolf man!" Throttle taunted.
