Angry Words - Chapter Fourteen

"Aunt Agatha, what are you doing?! Stop it!" Charley cried out, stepping between her aunt and Throttle.

"Step aside, Charlene."

"No. Not till you explain yourself."

"What's there to explain? This SOB impregnated my own flesh and blood. Then deserted her. I have every right to blast him into a smudge!" Aunt Agatha screamed.

"Whoa, whoa! Wait just a sec." Throttle protested, hands in front of his face, " I'm not the enemy here. She never told me she was pregnant."

"I wondered why she kept being sick every morning. Why she acted so strange around you. You're just like Daniel. He loved and used every woman he could get his hands on. Including me."

"Throttle's nothing like him." Charley said, "Stop projecting what Daniel did to you onto him."

"I'm not! He wormed his way into my daughter's bed. Deflowered and ravished her. What am I supposed to think?"

"Does Vivica even know you're here?"

"No. She knew I was coming to the United States in Illinois for a chocolate convention. I didn't tell her I was coming here. She would've been angry. She has enough to do with being a mother and also leader of the pack."

"Vivica is the new alpha leader?"

"After Daniel's death, the pack nominated her as the new defacto leader of the pack. Unfortunately, some of the pack divided afterwards. Some left Romania to start new lives. Others like myself stayed to preserve what was left of our clan."

"Aunt Agatha, you've gotta believe me when I tell you I didn't know about the baby. If I had known, I would have been there for my son." Throttle said.

Aunt Agatha now lowered the gun to stare into the sad and dejected face of the tan furred leader of the Biker Mice From Mars.

"You sound sincere enough. It could be a trick."

"I'm very sincere."

"Then you need to let him make plans to see his son."

Everyone looked up to see Vivica herself now climb through an open window and now into the garage. She was all dressed in black jeans, black leather jacket, and matching boots. A dark covered bundle was attached to her body.

"Vivica? How did you get here?" Aunt Agatha asked her daughter.

"I hid on the same flight you took. I figured you'd try to look Throttle up. So I stowed away." Vivica replied.

"You know me too well, daughter. I was only looking out for you."

"How? By attempting to kill my child's father? He isn't to blame."

"Yes he is. And where is the baby?" Her mother asked.

"Right here." Vivica replied, uncovering the bundle attached to her chest.

Then everyone saw the child. He was a tiny, infant Martian Mouse sucking on a pacifier fast asleep. He had light tan fur, tiny red antennas protruded from his head. He was dressed in a blue onesie outfit and a furry coat with a hood.

"Awwww, look at him. He's adorable!" Charley cooed.

Throttle nearly choked up at the sight of him.

"He...looks just like me." He said.

"Would you like to hold him?" Vivica asked.

She now undid the latches on the pouch and handed the baby to Throttle. The child now woke up and glanced up at the tan furred mouse. It looked at him curiously. Throttle now smiled at the child.

"I'm a dad." He said, looking at the baby.

"Congrats, bro. Cute kid." Vinnie said.

"You got you a fine boy there, Miss Vivica Ma'am."Modo said.

"Thank you."

Throttle's happy face then clouded. He looked up.

"There's one thing I have to do next."

"And what's that?"

"I have to tell my fiancee."

"No, bro. There have got to be other ways to commit suicide." Vinnie said.

"Vinnie's got a point. Miss Carbine Ma'am isn't gonna like this one bit. Maybe you should wait until she's in a good mood." Modo pointed out.

"That could take forever." Vinnie said.

"Carbine has a right to know, bros. It wouldn't be right to keep this from her." Throttle told them.

"That's what she's gonna give you: a right. Right across the chin when she finds out." Vinnie said.

"Aw, c'mon. Carbine's not that bad." Charley said.

Vinnie gave her a 'are you kidding me' look.

"Still. I gotta do this. Clear the air."

"Well, it's your funeral."

"Funny. You let me handle Carbine. And Charley-girl's right. She's not as bad as you think. She can be very understanding."

"Really? Uh, you got a baby with one woman while you're engaged to another one. You really think she's gonna be okay with all this?" Vinnie asked.

"I know she won't be pleased. But I have to tell her." Throttle said, looking down and away.

"Oh, mama. 'Hope she don't try to hit you with her whip!" Modo said.

...

To say Carbine wasn't a happy camper was an understatement.

"HOW COULD YOU?!" She screamed, pulling out the silver earring she had in her ear and hurling it at him.

He had just taken it out of his own ear the other day when he proposed and gave it to her. Now it laid at his feet. He sadly glanced at it.

"I'm sorry, Carbine. I never meant to hurt you." He said.

"Whatever. If you had kept it in your pants, you wouldn't be in this mess to begin with."

Throttle looked down with a sad expression.

"You think this whole thing is easy for me?! I didn't know anything about this baby."

"You're like all men. The minute my back is turned, you hop in bed with some whore!" Carbine screamed.

"Leave Throttle alone. He isn't to blame."

Both Martian Mice looked up to see Vivica entering the room followed by Charley and the other Mice.

"You stay out of this, you homewreaker!" Carbine screamed at Vivica.

"Hmmph! Is it my fault you don't know how to take care of your man? If you showed him more loving instead of neglecting him, he wouldn't have came to me. At least, i never tried to throw him into a pit of spikes!" Vivica shouted back.
