Remembering The Past- Chapter Seventeen

"You're way off base, babe. That's so not true."

"Oh, yeah? I've seen the way she looked at you when we were back on Earth. The way you looked at her."

A red flush formed on Throttle's face. Was he so lonely that he formed a physical relationship with another woman to combat it? He had missed Carbine. And often felt alone. He had his bros but it wasn't the same as having a mate.

Then Vivica stepped into the picture. She reminded him so much of Carbine with her free spirited personality and yes, she wasn't hard on the eyes either. The girl was gorgeous and had a figure that stopped most men in their tracks. It shocked him that he would be so drawn to her. He felt guilty that she could make him forget about Carbine.

She also didn't make it a secret to be attracted to him as well. A few times when she would walk by him she would pretend to accidentally brush up against him.

That wasn't the first time she tried to put the moves on him.

Flashback...Budapest...Six months ago...

Throttle had stepped out onto the balcony of the small apartment Vivica shared with her mom. The Biker Mice decided they each were going to watch out for the pack had declared war on them. The mice vowed to keep Charley and her relatives safe.

"One of us will keep a watch for the pack." Throttle said.

"Ugh. Boring. I wish those fur brains would come. This mouse is ready to rumble." Vinnie replied, flexing his muscles.

"Fine. I'll take the first watch."

"While you do that, this mouse is gonna get some beauty sleep. Not that I need it." He grinned, admiring himself in a mirror.

"Me, too. I'm beat. 'Time to hit the ol' hay." Modo yawned and stretched, "Wake me if you see trouble."

The two mice walked away along with Charley and Aunt Agatha.

"I'll watch with you. Two heads are better than one." Vivica said.

They stood together on the balcony. The full moon shone it's eerie glow on the two individuals.

"Throttle, I want you..." She murmured, when they were alone.

"I'm with Carbine." He told her.

"Does Carbine have these?" She asked, opening up her blouse to reveal her large breasts.

"Close that back up! Someone will see you." He scolded.

"Who? Everyone has turned in for the night. It's just you and me." She giggled, as she buttoned up her blouse.

Throttle looked away and continued to stare out into the night sky.

"I'm hoping the pack don't decide to make an appearance here." He said.

'Well, I know you'll protect us. I have complete faith in you."

"Yeah? With the way you fought the other members of the pack as well as saving their lives, you don't look like you need much saving."

"I've been a wolf woman my whole life. You learn early on to be independent and strong."

"Brawn, brains, as well as beautiful. You'll make some guy happy."

"No time like the present." Vivica said, as a sly smile crossed her face.

Throttle had turned his back to her to stare out. Vivica was now hugging him from the back pressing her body against his. He felt her hands inside his leather vest rubbing his well formed abs on his chest.

He turned to her only for her to press her lips against his. Within minutes, they were making out.

Then it dawned on him what they were doing. He quickly but gently pulled her arms off and pushed her away.

"Why do you keep fighting it? You can't tell me you haven't been wanting this?" She asked.

"I love Carbine."

"Whatever. They why did we just get it on? You need to make up your mind who you want to be with."

She then angrily got up and walked away.

End Flashback.

Throttle didn't know what to say. Was it true? Was he really in love with Vivica? Or was it just something physical? He trled to convince himself that he really did love Carbine. He tried to convince himself that they belonged together but somehow it sounded false. Many memories flashed through his mind.

Flashback...Mars...Years earlier...

He remembered when he and his bros first came back to Mars. They had just captured Limburger and brought him tied up to Mars. As far as the eye could see was desert. Vast, yellow sand dunes blanketed the whole red planet.

"Bros! Look!" Vinnie cried out.

"Freedom Fighters!" Modo said, as joy welled up inside him.

Martian Mice Freedom Fighters riding on motorcycles now rode up to the mice. One of them, clearly the leader, now approached Throttle.

"Hi. You don't know us, citizen." He began.

"Unfortunately, I do." The mouse replied, removing her motorcycle helmet.

Long, dark tresses of hair fell down around her face. She was a brown mouse with a thin, faded scar on her muzzle near her nose. An angry look in her brown eyes stared back at him.

"Carbine." Throttle said.

"You've got a lot of nerve coming here. Traitors! Freedom Fighters, arrest them at once!" She cried out.

Within minutes, the Biker Mice along with Limburger were locked in a cell.

Throttle was then taken to Carbine's office by the general herself while his two comrades and the Big Cheese stayed locked away in the cell.

"Carbine, you're making a big mistake we would never work for Limburger." He tried to explain.

"You expect me to believe that?" She asked, pressing a button on a computer console, "This surveillance footage was sent to us before you came back to Mars."

It showed the Biker Mice back on Earth. Throttle directing Vinnie and Modo who fired missiles blowing up office buildings. Throttle angrily punched the console.

"Carbine, that's garbage! In that video, we were stopping Fishface not helping him! We brought him to Mars to stand trial." He cried out.

"I-dont know what to believe. Especially when there's too much at stake." She replied, hesitantly.

That was when she showed him The Garden Of Hope. It was all that was left of Mars. An oasis of green vegetation and flowers. It looked like Carbine was starting to believe him when Limburger escaped. The general automatically thought the Biker Mice helped him with the escape.

She became very angry and pursued them. She recaptured them with Martian tangle springs.

No amount of explaining from Throttle why they ran away would make her change her mind.

"Take them to the Garden and cast them into the pit!" She commanded her fellow freedom fighters.

Charley was the only person who was able to reason with her.

After the Biker Mice saved her and the other freedom fighters from a giant ice glacier Limburger tried to squash them with, it seemed like He and Carbine would've gotten back together.

End Flashback

But the war and their being miles away from each other seemed to make them drift far apart from each other.

"Carbine, I-I-" He hesitated.

"Look, babe, you need to make a decision. It's either me or Vivica." She said.
