Miraculous: Rise of the Dark Moth
Chapter 8: Team Miraculous Unite
Synopsis: Cat Noir and Queen Bee, holders of the Cat Ring and the Bee Comb Miraculous work together to discover that Ladybug is still alive, but they also hear what Dark Moth's scheme is for all of Paris. To stop him, they'll need all of Team Miraculous together, but will it be enough?
On the rooftops of Paris, France, Cat Noir started to feel down and he began to sigh sadly as Queen Bee was starting to take notice of this. "Hey kitty. What's gotten you so down?" Queen Bee asked. "I failed Ladybug. I wasn't there to help her and Dark Moth's little monster got her. I wonder what they're doing to my lady right now." Cat Noir said. Queen Bee then starts to slap him in the face. "Snap out of it, kitty! The world needs a hero, ANY hero to stop this madness. If we can just defeat Dark Moth, this war should be over." Queen Bee said.
"But what about Chloe? Some of the villains in the Akuma Army had been made because of her. Maybe they got her too." Cat Noir stated. "I'm sure she and her family is fine. They probably took shelter somewhere... away from all of this." Queen Bee said as he narrowed her eyes when her alter-ego was mentioned. "Okay. If we can find the secret to Dark Moth's monster's power, maybe we could use it to our advantage." Cat Noir said. "Right. Let's go find Dark Moth and his monster." Queen Bee said as they ran across the rooftops.
At the TV News Station, Phantombug confronts her creator, Dark Moth as she began to crush a gem similar to the Phantom Ruby in her hand as they held Nadja Chamack hostage. "And with that, all the Phantom Ruby prototypes are no more." Phantombug spoke to Dark Moth. "It was a defective model. It would only work with the DNA of the one who triggered it." Dark Moth said as Queen Bee and Cat Noir hid. "Only someone with my power and will of steel can be able to trigger such a thing." Phantombug spoke. "Now, time to spread my message to the world. Isn't that right, Miss Chamack?" Dark Moth spoke. "Let me go!" Nadja Chamack demanded. "I'd listen to him. Unless you want your daughter to become victim to our schemes." Phantombug said as Puppeteer brings Manon in her grasp. "Mommy, help!" Manon screamed. "Manon!" Nadja shouted. "What will it be?" Phantombug smirked.
Then, Prime Queen and Lady Wifi begin to record Nadja Chamack who began to spread Dark Moth's message. "Don't be bemused, it's just the news! Nadja Chamack, reporting live from the TV Station. Here I am with Dark Moth, leader of the Akuma Army with an important message. Warning: What you're about to hear may be disturbing for some viewers." Nadja spoke as Dark Moth comes onscreen. "Greetings Paris, this is the voice of your new master. Hang on, I skipped some dialogue." He joked. "My forces had defeated your dear Ladybug who had been reported as a fake, deceiving you all. Here is the real Ladybug. Say hi." Dark Moth spoke as he makes the camera turn to Phantombug who frowns and waves.
"Anyway, we are in control of Paris now as we had made your precious Eiffel Tower our stronghold, but I'm afraid it's out of bounds. If we see any lawmen, heroes or anyone outside of Paris coming that way, we'll crush all who mess with us. Besides, we're always happy to get new recruits for our army. Good day." Dark Moth said as Lady Wifi and Prime Queen end the recording. "There, I did it. Now let my daughter go." Nadja said as Puppeteer released Manon who comes to her mother. "Mommy! I was so scared!" Manon shouted hugging Nadja. "She was no fun at all. Seriously. I can't believe I used to be her." Puppeteer pointed her wand at Manon. "Leave us, and see if they find their way out." Dark Moth spoke to Prime Queen and Puppeteer making Nadja and Manon leave.
"Now that we done that, we also have our lab locked down at the Pont de Arts bridge. Speaking of, didn't you bump into Ladybug there when she escaped?" Dark Moth asked to Phantombug. "She put up a fight to survive against her superior this time. But that's none of your concern and mine." Phantombug answers as Dark Moth was in shock. "You let her go instead of DESTROYING her?! That's a complete concern!" Dark Moth said. "For you, maybe. She had beaten you and so she did for the former Hawk Moth, Gabriel Agreste that we locked up, but I destroyed her in our first encounter." Phantombug spoke as Dark Moth sneers.
"What? Phantom Ruby prototypes? Dad's locked up?" Cat Noir asked. "Your dad is Hawk Moth?" Queen Bee asked as she was noticing Cat Noir's hair was similar to Adrien's. "And Milady's alive? YES!" Cat Noir said as Phantombug turns her head to them as Queen Bee covers Cat Noir's mouth. "What is it?" Dark Moth spoke. "Nothing." Phantombug said turning to Dark Moth. "We forward with the plan?" She asked. "Yes. Soon the resistance will be gone, forgotten, dead to us. You get the idea. The world is our playground, in which a glorious Akuma Army will rise." Dark Moth said. "And all will bow to the power of the Phantom Ruby. They will all submit, and they will love me as the real Ladybug." Phantombug said as she blasts through the roof of the TV Station, leaving.
Dark Moth then turns and sees Cat Noir and Queen Bee. "What?! Queen Bee's back? With Cat Noir? I thought Volpina said you were gone already!" He shouts. "Well, you thought wrong, buddy! You mess with milady (meaning Ladybug), and you mess with us!" Cat Noir shouted. "We'll never bow to you!" Queen Bee shouted as she sends her spinning top against Dark Moth. "I don't have time for a one on two. Malediktator, Cat Blanc, get them!" Dark Moth shouted as Maledikator and Cat Blanc come out.
"Whoa. THAT'S what I look if I was akumatized?" Cat Noir asked in shock. "I know. Shocking, isn't it? Black is out, and white is in. I came from a timeline where a Ladybug we both share have broke our hearts turning us into this." Blanc spoke to his counterpart. "You're lying! Sure milady doesn't return the love I give her but..." Noir spoke in confusion. "She'll break yours too. Make you into me. Just ask your father. You'll see." Cat Blanc spoke as he summoned a Mega-Cataclysm from his fingers. "Enough! By the power vested in me, let this two-on-two commence." Malediktator said. "Oh, this'll be fun to be watch." Dark Moth said as he sat on his hover chair. "How about a wager? You win, I give you a sneak peak of my brilliant plan. But if I win, I get something of yours." Dark Moth said. "Like what? Our Miraculouses? Utterly ridiculous!" Queen Bee said.
"Actually, CB, I was thinking of… taking your lives! Good suggestion, though. CUE THE BOSS MUSIC!" Dark Moth shouts as the two heroes and villains fight.

The fight was won by Cat Noir and Queen Bee who high five each other. "Yes! We did it!" Cat Noir as Dark Moth laughed. "How adorable. You really think you have a chance to win. Too bad it's not meant to be. On October 31st, my plan will be more than enough to… destroy you all." Dark Moth said mimicking Billy from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. "Destroy us all? On October 31st?" Cat Noir asked. "What plan?" Queen Bee asked. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise. You know the old saying, "The anticipation of the end is even more dangerous than the end itself." Maybe not in this case though." Dark Moth said fleeing the TV Station.
"What now?" Cat Noir asked. "We find Ladybug, of course, since we know she's alive! Dark Moth said she was at the Pont de Arts bridge where she fought that fake Ladybug, so we find her there." Queen Bee said on what to do. "I'm just glad that Antibug is not me." Queen Bee said under her breath. "You with me, kitty?" Queen Bee asked. "After you, Queenliest of Queens." Cat Noir said as they left. Their conversation was overheard by Phantombug, which left her confused.
Cue Miraculous transition.
Queen Bee and Cat Noir were on their way to the Pont de Arts Bridge where the real Ladybug was last sighted when she fought against her akumatized clone, Phantombug. But all of a sudden, Queen Bee's comb started beeping, meaning she was about to transform back. "No, no! Not now!" Queen Bee shouted about to change back. She must've used her power during her fight with Malediktator and Cat Blanc with Cat Noir.
"You gonna change back?" Cat Noir asked. "Yes! I need you to go to bridge without me! I have to recharge somewhere." Queen Bee said leaving. "On it!" Cat Noir said as he leaps to where the Pont de Arts bridge is as Queen Bee changes back to Chloe as Pollen falls in her hands.
"You done good, my queen. You done good." Pollen said. "Hide somewhere in my purse. Gotta find you something to eat." Chloe said as she began to run off. She was going back to the Le Grand Paris luxury hotel to help Pollen recharge her energy so she can become Queen Bee again, but then she saw multiple Robustus being mass-produced and she was going to be attacked by one, until Paint le Panda saves her.
"You alright, pal?" Paint Panda asked. "Yeah, thanks. But don't call me pal. Wait... P.J.? You're a hero too?" Chloe asked. "Yeah, we're gathering people for the Miraculous Resistance, but can you please keep my identity a secret and NOT use it to blackmail me." He said gritting his teeth. "Geez. I'll keep a secret, but please stop being in my personal space." Chloe said gently pushing him back.
"Rookie, we just picked up a signal coming from the Pont de Arts bridge." Kim said on Paint Panda's communicator. "What if it's one of the akumatized villains' minions setting up a trap?" Nino asked. "Uh-uh! I don't think this reading is coming from an akumatised villain." Alya said. "That's correct. It's a life force reading that's 100% holding a Miraculous. Definitely not an akumatised villain." Max said.
"Sorry, rookie. You'll have to check it out since Ladybug and Bunnyx need to heal." Kim said. Paint Panda began to paint a big eagle. "Art Power!" He shouted making the eagle come to life as it grabs him in its talons. "You charge up and meet us at the Louvre Museum." Paint said to Chloe as my eagle carries off to the Pont de Arts bridge. "You better pay me back for experimenting on me, kid!" Chloe shouted. "Chloe, please, let it go." Pollen said.
Paint's eagle he drew then takes him to the Pont de Arts bridge and it vanishes. Paint Panda falls onto the ground, but he managed to rolled and landed safely. He saw the Phantom Ruby prototype and it started to activate a bit when he picked it up. It began to record his DNA when he triggered it. Then, all of a sudden, Cat Noir showed up as he glided to Paint Panda using his staff. "Have we met before?" Cat Noir asked looking at Paint Panda as he looked into his eyes. "P.J.? Did you use your Miraculous to transform?" He asked. "Yep. Come with me at the Resistance H.Q. there's a little lady waiting for you." Paint Panda said as Cat Noir started to perk up his ears and smiled thinking who it was.
Paint le Panda and Cat Noir then make it to the Miraculous Resistance H.Q. aka the Treehouse, and Cat Noir was very happy to see the woman he loved alive. "Ladybug!" He shouted as he ran to hug her. "Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouted hugging him back. "When you were beaten down, I'd thought you would be..." Cat Noir spoke as he releases Ladybug. "I'm just fine. Nobody can knock this bug down." Ladybug said as she was just fine. Fit as a fiddle.
"Dark Moth spoke that he has a plan to get rid of us on October 31st." Cat Noir said to everyone in the Miraculous Resistance force. "October 31st, but that's the date of..." Ladybug said. "Halloween! Villains plan to wreak havoc on Halloween. I seen it happen before. Multiple times. Only that it happened at a cartoon nightclub owned by a cartoon mouse." Paint le Panda said mentioning the events of Mickey's House of Villains.
Max then gasped. "Markov, what's today's date?" Max spoke to his robot friend. "Why, today is... October 26th. This is bad! Halloween is going to be coming 5 days. And we'll all be destroyed by those villains in five days!" Markov said as Alya smacked him. "Keep it together, wingnut." She said. "Five days, huh? A lot can happen in that time." Ladybug said.
Cue Miraculous Transition.
At the Miraculous Resistance HQ, Cat Noir had spoken to Ladybug, Paint le Panda and everyone who were holding their respective Miraculouses about Dark Moth's plan. "Dark Moth said when the plan is completed by Halloween, we'll all be wiped out." Cat Noir explained to the gang.
"Well, I don't like the sound of that, dude. Normally, people would laugh at a villain's plan that doesn't work, but he's already taken most of our world, so... Why would he plan something for Halloween?" Kim asked. "Didn't you even listen to him?" Alix frowned. "Besides, by our calculations on our actions..." Max spoke. "We have rescued about 14.9% of Paris from Dark Moth's Akuma Army." Markov said.
"Hey guys! This is Minotaurox! Idon't mean to interrupt this reunion meeting, but we're under attack! Antibug, Chloe, or whatever, is attacking the citizens! Polymouse and I need help!" Ivan as Minotaurox, Hero of the Ox Miraculous shouted to the group as he was with Mylene who was now Polymouse, hero of the Mouse Miraculous.
"Chloe... The last time I saw her she was fighting for Dark Moth." Ladybug spoke at the moment when she confronted Phantombug. "It doesn't make any sense though. My BFF swore she changed, even after all those times that..." Sabrina aka Miss Hound, the Hero of the Dog Miraculous spoke. "Perhaps she's been controlled by that strange power that fake Ladybug was using when she thought she could take her on by herself." Cat Noir stated. "Whatever it is, I'll figure it out." Ladybug said as she went out to the city of Paris to go and find Antibug.
"Whoa! A whole army of Robustus?!" Minotaurox shouted as Ladybug saw the multiple copies of Robustus wreaking havoc on Paris. "There's so many!" Polymouse said. "Hurry Ladybug! We can hold them, but not for long." Kagami spoke as Ryuko, holder of the Dragon Miraculous. "Hey! Listen! Antibug's been spotted at Le Grand Paris with Style Queen!" Alya aka Rena Rouge shouted via her communicator.
Chloe Bourgeois was hiding in her room to transform into Queen Bee with Pollen, but Style Queen and Antibug were trying to make her come out. "Hey weak me, come out!" Antibug demanded. "Oh Chloe, darling, I know you're here. So come out for mommy!" Style Queen spoke as Ladybug arrived. "Hey Chloe, what do you think you're doing?!" Ladybug shouted as they turned to Ladybug.
"It's Ladybug! For real. Now to transform." Chloe said to Pollen.
Cue Queen Bee Transformation sequence.
"Pollen, Buzz on!" Chloe shouted as Pollen warps into her Comb Miraculous and she becomes Queen Bee.
"Why are you working for Dark Moth?" Ladybug asked. "I don't owe you an explanation." Antibug frowned. "Be a good girl and hold her down. The Big Boss will probably want her earrings." Style Queen demanded of her akumatized daughter as she holds Ladybug in place as she was going for her earrings. Before she could grab them... "Venom!" Queen Bee shouted stinging Style Queen, immobilizing her and strikes down Antibug. "Queen Bee? But how did?" Ladybug asked as she was freed as Style Queen and Antibug disappeared. "They disappeared. Just like Lady Wifi." She said. "That Antibug was a fake, Ladybug." Queen Bee spoke. "A fake? How?" Ladybug asked.
"Phantombug was able to create virtual reality projections of the villains we fought, and so did Dark Moth when he was Dark Mills. They had mass and form, but no heart and souls." Queen Bee spoke. "Virtual reality... So all of our old foes were part of Dark Moth's plan." Ladybug said. "All of them were counterfeit replicas. The thing is, they're not real, but their powers are as strong as the originals." Queen Bee said on what they were. "From what I heard from Sabrina and Juleka, Phantombug can make multiple copies of them to their liking." She explained.
"So fight after fight, they'll just keep coming at us?" Ladybug asked. "Precisely. With that happening, there's no chance we can win." Queen Bee said. "Of course we can. We always do. Good triumphs over evil, and love can conquer all. Still, I'm surprised you came to help me, Queen Bee." Ladybug said. "Yeah, and I want to make up for all those bad mistakes those years ago." Queen Bee said. "It's alright. Heroes sometimes mistakes, even me." Ladybug said. "What do you mean?" Queen Bee asked. "Well, I was going to give a gift and leave my name for the person I loved, but then Hawk Moth, Gabriel Agreste, father of Adrien got to his son, and made him be akumatized." Ladybug said talking about an alternate timeline where she made Adrien become Cat Blanc.
"You're... kidding, right? I mean, I heard Cat Noir saying that Hawk Moth was his daddy." Queen Bee said. "Let's just hope what happened to Cat Blanc that timeline won't happen again in this war. C'mon, we gotta get to the Miraculous HQ so we can make a plan of attack against Datk Moth." Ladybug said as she and Queen Bee left. However, their conversation was overheard by Lila Rossi who was turned into Volpina under Dark Moth's control. She was working as a spy for the Akuma Army since Lady Wifi failed him at the Ancient Dungeons in the Catacombs of Paris.
"Dark Moth, this is Volpina. Did you hear what they said?" She asked. "Yes I did. Cat Noir has become Ladybug's weakness, like Gabriel and his own son as I saw that episode for myself. Even though we already have a Cat Blanc thanks to the Phantom Ruby, I think it's time we put down the black cat on our side." Dark Moth said via her transceiver as Lila lowers her arm, and her smile disappears into a frown.
It would seem she had other intentions than being in the Akuma Army against Gabriel Agreste. But what?
