While at the dinner table, Candy and Wonka both were sitting in their seats eating slices of chocolate-flavored cake. Wonka was looking for a way to start talking, since it was quiet,he decided to be the first one to speak. What he thought they could talk about the fact that Candy's first friend she made during her first day of school was a guy.
"So Candy, what is his name?",asked Wonka.
Candy gulped down her food.
"His name is Gil and he is the son of Gaston.",said Candy.
Wonka was struck silent. Wonka started to blink twice in confusion
"Gaston, the one who tried to kill the Beast?",asked Wonka in disbelief.
Candy nodded her head in response. That was when Wonka dropped his fork, and, he was eating his chocolate-flavored cake he dropped crumbs on the table ,floor and all around.
"You can't be friends with him he's dangerous!",yelled Wonka.
"Dad, it was the first day of school! He was nice to me when I met him.",shared Candy.
"Nice to you? He can't be nice to you!",yelled Wonka.
"Dad, come on your overreacting!",exclaimed Candy.
"Overreacting ?? Candy, I'm your father and I'm trying to protect you!",yelled Wonka
"Dad, I'm 18!! I can't be protected anymore!," Candy answered back.
That was when Wonka gotten even more furious.
"That's it ..go to your room!",yelled Wonka.
Candy stood up from her seat and ran off to her room in a huff. This left Wonka in silence. He could hear the door open and shut which means that Candy was in her room.
