hey i've decided to write this story because there's a lack of gamer stories (satire) and because i love naruto i'll probably end up making a few gamer fics of my favourite forms of media in the future so jjk, dbz,batman,spiderman,pokemon and all that nerdy stuff.
originally i was planning a jjk and naruto crossover with the mc being from the gojo clan but i decided against that for now i'll probably do it someday so if you'd like that let just let me know but anyways enough yapping on with the story. first person narrator

'so this is like one of those fanfics i read about? that's cool i assume you can hear my thoughts, so do i get a choice to where i go WAIT a minute what about my old life i'm dead right? is everyone ok?'
[ no this will not be like those fanfictions the system you will receive is 'weaker' than some of the ones you have read about this will be done so that you do not become a kage level threat within the span of a few years easily, of course i can hear your thoughts i am a part of you now, you will have a selection of a few basic universes but more will be unlocked upon your next death where your memories will be wiped and you will have another selection of worlds, and yes your old world will continue onwards]

'wow thats a lot being a uchiha would probably be the best but itachi... yea let's choose something else hmm senju would be decent but other than tsunade and the first 2 kage the weren't really all that so pass, uzumaki would be decent but i'd probably end up in one of orochimaru's lab's so yeah no hmm all the other clans are mid except the hyuga maybe but the chances of me being a caged bird by being in in the side branch is less than zero and i'm not going to be a slave well looks like there's only one option ugh system i choose clanless'

and then a blinding light enveloped my body and i felt myself losing consciousnes
then out of a sudden i was hit by 6 years worth of memories of this life, i'm an orphan the kyubi attack killing my father when i was around 6 months old ever since i've been living in one of the many orphanages in konoha life wasn't bad for an orphan but he alwways strived for better and this year him and his friend's could attend the konoha ninja academy.
"hey kai, are you excited to go to the academy after the summer? i'm so pumped i'm gonna be the best kunoichi out there you hear me? heheh" a girl i recognised as asami my childhood friend said to me practically bouncing of the walls, she was quite tan and had freckles alongside her brown hair and pink bow gave her the friendly girl next door vibe.
"of course i'm excited and don't you wait i'm going to be the best ninja in history so try not to get left behind ok hahah" i said happily her bubbly attitude rubbing off on me to which she pouted
"ok ok everyone time to brush your teeth then let's grab some breakfast" an adult named kai? i remember him being called said with a smile on his face heading to the other rooms to which all of us in response headed to to one of the many bathrooms
after breakfast we had some basic lessons on history,geography,math,caligraphy,language,hand signs,chakra theory, basic politics and a lessons on the will of fire all in all the lessons were fun and informative they gave us a 15 minute break and a 45 minute lunch period it felt like school but was easier to follow and more fun. it was currently evening and i was layed in bed reading a story called 'the journey of a forgoten ninja' it was a story about a ninja who through a freak accident got sent into the future by fuinjutsu gone wrong and was trying to find a way back home it was suprisingly entertaining even though it was clearly a kid's story.
"kaito, asami,daichi" kai said getting our attention before naming about 5 more names of kids i barely knew.
"ok ok guys i know this is an exciting time fo you guys but try not to demolish the entire manor in your excitement hahah ok well follow me and you'll be introduced to your new families " he said before walking of at a decent pace becoking us to follow. as we walked past a bunch of doors i noriced just how many painiting there were on the walls some being professional but most being made from children's drawings on the walls there where a bunch of colourful handprints, those where like kind of final goodbyes from the previous children who got adopted.as we walked we walked down the staircase and walked past a few room to which kai sent all of the kids in before he looked at me and smiled.
"and here we are room 12 this is you lil kaito don't forget you're always welcome here and if anything is wrong there is no shame coming back here but we're pretty sure you're gonna love your new family" kai said ruffling my hair before lightly jogging back up to the rooms to get more children.
as i steeled my nerves and took a deep breath i opened the door i saw a smaller version of kiba looking around bored and right next to him was TSUME INUZUKA the leader of the inuzuka clan 'wait that means i'm being adopted by her so does that mean i'm gonna be part of the main family' i thought shocked
"oh hello there kaito you're a bit early did kai bring you here? oh why do i ask, that goof is always almost as excited as the kids when they get adopted hahahah" aika one of the matriarchs said with a giggle.
"anyways kaito don't be impolite and introduce yourself to your new family, you don't wan't to leave a bad impression do you?" the matriarch said with a smile and obviously fake stern voice taking me out of my stupor to which i took a deep breath took a few step forwards and looked at the duo with determination.
"hey i'm kaito i love animals dogs in particular i like reading,history,calligraphy and my friends and my dream is to be the strongest out there i want to be the top dog to protect myself and the people i love" i said with determination in my voice staring straight into tsume's eyes the previous slight fear i had upon seeing her disapearing completely, she seemed to pick up on this as she gave me a feral grin before standing up and getting on one knee right in front of me.
"well then you've got drive i like that, you're definitely my cousin's kid i'm tsume but you can call me mom and this is your new brother kiba you also have an older sister now but she's on a mission right now so you'll meet her soon" my new mother said with a smile on here face
"hey i'm kiba it's nice to meet ya and don't get your hopes up i'll keep you on yout toes you're not leaving me behind on your way to the top" kiba said with a toothy smile holding out his fist to which i fist bumped him before heading back to my room to collect what little i have left.
as i made my way to my now old room i realised that i haven't even looked at my stats yet 'hmmm what's it they say in those fics again... oh yeah status'
[finally you have decided to use me i thought you'd forgotten about me] the system said clearly sarcastic wait does that mean it's sentient?

as i walked down to my new family we ended up leaving quite soon nothing really of note happened before we headed towards our new home walking past several shops and the hustle and bustle of the city as i looked around with wonder of my eyes until i noticed a kid with blond hair and green goggles running in our direction looking behind him before barging into me
"sorry i didn't mean to bump into you" he said before running off again with some other random people running after him.
after this event nothing of note happpened before we ended up at the house which was quite large with several smaller building being present in the compound i couln't really tell due to it being night. as we approached the main building tsume opened the door looked down at me and smiled.
"welcome home kaito" she said kindly
