Chapter 6: Settling for the Night Part 2

Wendy was in her pajamas under her bed's covers. She was still awake looking at the ceiling in thought. "Sat and Sun will be two free days."

Carla was in her human form and taking a bath with Wendy. "Wendy, according to the schedule of this month is Friday, so, we'll have two free days to take a tour. However, at noon, we'll be the head supervisor deciding what classes to take." Wendy was a little interested in finding out what classes she should take. "Yeah, but, we're on a mission to search for the Fisher Tiger's sister and her crew. That includes the two missing Spriggan Twelve."

"Anyway, after our meeting with the head supervisor, we'll contact the others." Carla concluded and her partner nodded. "Now, let's get some sleep."

In the room where Mikoto and Shirai share.

Mikoto was still a little depressed. Shirai was lying in bed looking across from her side to her roommate. "Sissy..." She thought worriedly. That wasn't the one thing on her mind.

A few hours ago

She was at the judgment office.

There she was in a meeting with two other friends and a glasses-wearing woman, who happens to be the chief.

"Shirai, sorry to call at the office a little expected, but, officers at the crashing site asked us to keep an out for anything suspicious."

"I must admit this quite the investigation...a true mystery." A girl with long black hair with a small, white flower on the left side of her hair wearing a medium-length skirt.

"Satan, this isn't a game, we should be careful not to investigate alone." Uiharu reminded me seriously.

"So, nobody knows who crashed at the site?" Kuroko asked. Konori shook her head but she took out a sheet of paper. "I also learned of something else. Boats are searching for a helicopter that crashed into the ocean."

The three teenage girls gasped in horror. "Crashed...into the ocean," Kuroko asked with concerned eyes. "Was there anyone in the helicopter like a pilot and passenger?"

Konori nodded before flipping another sheet of paper to look at the next page. "Yes, the pilot is a male in his late 20's and the passenger...is someone named Touma Kamijou." A loud gasp was heard from Satan. "Wait, Touma Kamijou!?"

"That's the boy that Misaka was hanging out with!" Uiharu exclaimed with a horrified expression on her face.

"I see..." Konori said feeling a bit bad for revealing the information. "Well, they searched around the area for the helicopter, but, no signs of the pilot or this Kamijou person." Her face looked troubled. "They'll keep looking for another day, but..."

"Don't say it..." Satan said as tears fell down her cheeks. "We can't believe that Kamijou is dead...Misaka wouldn't stand for it if the boy she's indebted to is gone!"

Uiharu had to agree as she wiped her eyes. "Yeah, I'm sure someone has found Kamijou and the pilot." Konori would agree but, she knew if that truly was the case the rescue team would contact them, but, the chances of surviving in the ocean would be slim to none. However, she didn't want to say that to the girls. "All we can do is hope that he and the pilot are safe. Anyway, I appreciate you all being for this meeting. I'll keep in contact, if you see anything suspicious contact Judgement right away."

"Yes, ma'am!"

Kuroko continued to stare at Misaka, who finally fell asleep but only due to depression. "Sissy...I hope that ape is fine...if he's dead...then I'll chase him in the afterlife and kick his ass for making sissy cry!" She thought and turned over then fell asleep herself.

The dragon girl was soaring through the sky. She searched above the city carefully not to be seen by anyone. "Sniff...sniff." She sniffed the air for a scent. "Touma...Touma..." Images of him began to flash before her eyes as a young boy. "Hello!" He said in a cheery tone. "How are you? My name is Touma, what is yours?" She was soon getting tired due to exhaustion from her escape. "I'm...getting tired." She landed gently on a sidewalk and panted heavily as her wings and tail sank into her back. Regardless, she knew she had to keep pressing on.

At Aiho's apartment.

Primo was sitting on the couch lost in thought. "To think the technology is more advanced. None of us have any idea how to use the equipment." Mest was at the dinner table having a glass of water. "Yes, this mission has been a difficult one. Regardless, we'll have to continue it, but, we can't let anyone in this city get involved. Though, perhaps, we can ask Aiho for help, she seems very smart and wise."

"I agree." Lahara returned from her shower wearing a towel. Primo was flustered. "Lahara, why aren't you wearing pajamas!?" Lahara tilts her head.

Mest was still lying down on the couch "The city is more bigger than we can imagine, though, we have free days to look around this place. So, we might search the city tomorrow to find some information." Kovu was sitting on a chair. "Well, I hope we find some enemies, I'm looking forward to fighting some enemies." Mest sighed but smiled a little. "You haven't changed a bit."

"None of us have," Joan came into the living room wearing a towel. "Either way, each of us lives in our way." Mest was flustered about seeing a young girl in a bath towel as he averted his eyes away. "Hey, did you forget to change in the bathroom!?" Joan giggled nonchalantly. "Oh sorry about that." She accidentally sprouted her wings which took off her towel revealing her nude body. Kovu's jaw dropped his face beet red while Mest teleported to the hallway. "Look at the time, I have to start my shower, so, I'll get in next!" With that, he ran into the bathroom. Joan wrapped the towel around her body. "Well, I'm going to turn in, good night you two."

Gajeel was still snoring on the couch. Levy was taking her bathtub and was inside for almost 15 minutes washing her skin. "Well, it's relaxing. I guess I can understand how Lucy would feel." She looked at the door. "Gajeel..." She felt her heart race. "He's living with me in this apartment room. Like we're married..." Her head started to emit steam from her head.

Lily was sitting on the kitchen counter meditating for a second. He opened his eyes. "I hadn't detected any from those ladies from Anti-Skill, but, they could have intel on Academy City's secrets."

However, it would be best not to ask too many questions otherwise they might become suspicious of us." He put his paw on his cheek. "I guess we'll just have to see what we can do tomorrow." Gajeel suddenly woke up. "Did I miss something?" He woke up a little groggy and stood up from the couch. "Oh, I guess I'll take my shower too." Lily flinched and quickly flew at him. "Gajeel, wait, that isn't a good idea right now!"

Gajeel was too tired to listen and didn't turn his head either. "What are you yapping about, it's our bathroom so, I'll just-" He opened the door without knocking, and before he realized it, Levy was standing on the floor completely naked. The two looked at each other awkwardly before Levy shrieked out of embarrassment. "Eek! You iron-headed pervert!" She then tossed a few towels at the iron dragon slayer who was covering his face with his arms. "Hey short stuff, cut that out! I didn't know you were there!" That didn't calm Levy down at the very least. "What do you mean you, idiot, I was taking a shower, didn't Lily tell you that!?"

Lily felt utterly frozen before he waved his arms. "It wasn't my fault, I tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen!"

Usagi was done with his shower and wore only a small towel around his waist. He gathered a bottle of water. "To think such a world with technology exists. Oden would be ecstatic about this world and explore this kind of place." He hoped to return to the world to see his kind and take down Kaido.

5 hours pass

It was still dark but the sky was clear with stars.

The dragon girl soon arrived at School District 7 outside the Tokiwadai School Middle gates. She was on the verge of collapse and her inner strength kept moving her forward but, soon her legs were feeling like jelly. She struggled to walk but to no avail. "My magic...I must...use...whatever..." She thought as she knelt her vision getting blurry due to exhaustion while holding onto the gate's bars. "I...I...c-can't..."

Wendy was asleep until she felt a faint sense of magic power causing her eyes to open instantly. She sat up and got out of bed quietly. "Who is that?" She opened the windows slowly not to make a sound. She sniffed a scent. "Wait, what is that smell?" She continued to sniff the air. "That scent smells like..." She jumped out of the window and landed carefully on the ground. Following the scent she was smelling she followed her nose and came to the front entrance gates as the dragon girl fainted.

Wendy ran to the entrance gate and saw the unconscious girl. "Who is that?" She asked but shook the question off and leaped over the gate. Carla was stunned to see an unconscious young teenage girl. "Who is she?" Wendy lifts the mysterious girl in her arms. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked carefully shaking her arms.

The girl wasn't responding, so, Wendy knew what she had to do and pick her up. "Child, be careful, we don't know this girl and she might be working with the enemies that kidnapped the two Spriggan Twelve." Wendy looked at the white exceed with a serious look. "I know, but, I can't just leave this girl out here, she might catch a cold out here, especially in these torn clothes."

Carla sighed figuring that her friend would say that. The two brought the girl quietly through the school grounds little did they know there was cameras in the area.

The Fish Tiger Pirates arrived at the School District 23. Nagasai was at the steering wheel.

"We arrived." She thought taking out a transponder snail. "Arista, this is your navigator speaking, I'll be sure to keep an eye out where we can dock."

"Roger!" Arista was in the hull area. "Time for this ship to show its new form." She places her hands on the lever next to her.

Nearby was a small beach and luckily nobody was around for the night which was Nagasai's queue. "Beach up ahead, full speed ahead!" The boat's new engine sped fast and washed on the beach. "Activate the Dock 5 now!" Arista pulled back a lever opening a docking door. The door opened revealing a large Luxury RV vehicle. "I've been eager to take this baby for a ride for so long." She felt so ecstatic upon looking at it. "Thanks to the new wheels, it'll drive smoothly on the sand."

At Touma's apartment.

Gray was asleep surprisingly while Natsu was still snoring and Happy was practically snoring but not as loud as his best friend.

Cana was already asleep after taking her bath. Juvia was still a little awake. "Gray...my darling." She whispered feeling a little down still. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait to spend time with my love."

Lucy was out on the balcony checking the night and the stars. "I have to admit the view is nice." She smiled softly. "I wish the others could've come here with us." She took a deep breath. "Oh well, I'm sure they're getting ready for the next journey to the world of pirates." She remembered Ace about keeping his promise to two people he met in Wano and would keep that promise. She couldn't help but respect Ace's dedication. "Yawn...well, it's time for me to hit the hay."

Erza was already sleeping peacefully. "She sleeps peacefully. She's amazing as always." Lucy thought with a small smile got under her blankets and fell asleep.

Rufus was lying on his bed wearing long baggy pants and a red T-shirt. "I wonder what kind of school outfits we'll have to wear. I hope they know my size."

Anna was done with her shower. "Well, I'll be getting some shut-eye." She saw Yukino sitting on her bed looking a bit nervous. "Something wrong?" This got the other Celestial Wizard to look at the former. "Oh it's nothing, I feel a little nervous yet excited. We're in a different world where advanced technology exists with magic."

She had a thought to share. "On top of that, that Ms. Komoe lady, I detected magic power from her." Anna giggled. "Yes, she didn't seem too surprised about us nor she didn't sense magic coming from us. Perhaps, she doesn't know how to sense our magic. Either way, she was a polite young woman plus she'll be our teacher at A Certain Magical High School so things won't be so rough."

"You mean you and her will be our teachers," Yukino corrected. "By the way, I heard that you're teaching a class in another village, so, who is looking after your class? " Anna giggled. "You and the others will see. But, I can say the person is more reliable than I thought."

"I'd better get some sleep." Anna nodded. "Agreed, we'll need all the rest we can get for the next two days. At first light, we'll have a meeting with the communication lacrima."

Elfman was asleep on his bed snoring. Mirajane didn't mind and she had something on her mind. "A family spotted a pirate ship and saw a fish creature on the deck. Could it be one of Aquapad's kind?" She thought in question. "Either way, we might as well share this information with Aquapad first thing in the morning."

Arista was inside the RV checking out the condition. She took out a key and put it in the ignition lock cylinder starting the engine. "Looks like the RV is working well."

"Good, though, what about our ship?" Jasmine asked carrying her medical supplies in two bags.

Arista smiled widely. "Already ahead of you, I'll call the emergency medical guys on this cellphone."

"But, what about when they see us parked on this beach?" Sanosuke asked.

Fisher Lily had that figured out. "Arista and Nagaisa will bring Touma and the pilot to the street up there. She and I will distract them from the beach so they don't spot us. The rest of you guys gather anything you can get from the ship, once that is done, get in the RV."

"So, we'll just leave our ship here?" Sanosuke asked again.

Arista smirked. "Leave it to me." With the plan explained, Arista made a phone call to the emergency while the others gathered their belongings.

It wasn't too long before sirens were heard and met up with the two ambulance vehicles with three employees that carried Touma and Pilot away. Arista and Nasagi met up with their crew. "Everything gathered!" Vanessa waved to her crewmate.

Arista nodded and took out a strange-looking gun. "Time shrink our ship to size." She pointed the gun at the ship and a yellow beam shot the ship shrinking into the size of the model ship. "Good thing I snatched when we escaped."

Sanosuke rubbed his head. "I forget about that little gun." Nagaisa shook her head with a shrug. "Not surprising since you're a forgettable at times."

"Shut up!" The Caribbean Reef Shark Fishman retorted comically.

Four hours later

4.00 am

Touma and the pilot were taken to the Heaven Canceller's Hospital.

"So, these guys were found at sea." An elderly doctor with a frog-like face was sitting in his office checking the conditions of the two patients.

"I heard that these guys were lost at sea. Touma Kamijou, whoever found must've been a good fortune for you." He stood up from his seat. "Well, at least they'll make a full recovery, I'll contact their families."

Outside the hospital was a large RV on the street. Arista was looking at the front window. "This machine works better even after 30 years. Like my uncle and grandfather would say...get keep your head held high with gusto!"

"Do you think Touma and the pilot are fine?" Yuna asked concerning.

Holly felt worried. "Yeah, do you think he'll be fine?"

Morgan couldn't help but feel worried too. "Indeed, will the hospital be enough for him?"

"No doubt, with my medical skills, he and the pilot's condition is less concerning," Jasmine assured with a smile.

Nasagi chuckled a bit. "Yeah, I hope the boy heals." She winked in a flirt matter.

Isaribi sighed with her arms crossed. "Honestly, Holly, Yuna, Morgan, Nasagi, do you girls think about anything else besides boys?"

"Indeed, and boy that ate a little so he'll be fine," Maggie commented.

"Anyway, we must find a place to park our vehicle, we'll check on the kid later early in the morning." Vanessa suggested.

Sanosuke yawned. "No kidding, after that traveling, I need a snooze."

"Agreed, we'll find a place to stay for the night." Fisher Lily said getting her crew's attention. "In the morning, we'll discuss what to do next."

At the underground lab

The room that had the last pod that contained the other clone was still motionless. The room was damaged due to the dragon girl's escape from her pod. A face was barely seen due to the dust on the glass. Suddenly glowing red eyes opened and then two human-like hands pushed the pod's lid off sending it crashing into the ceiling and the pod released some heat. The figure climbed out as its shape was covered in the mist. "So, I'm awake now. How long has it been since I was asleep."

Zira arrived in the room. "It's been 130 years. I didn't expect you to wake so soon."

The dragon girl flies in the sky of Academy City and lands in the area where Tokiwadai Middle School is then found by Wendy and Carla, who are cautious about the strange girl. The Fish Tiger Pirates go to a nearby small beach in School District 23 and call for help using the technology they got from their first visit. Touma and the pilot are taken to Heaven's Canceller Hospital and get the treatment. The other clone has awakened, but, who is the clone?
