"Isn't this the life, Pinky?" Scourge asked as he lounged on her couch. "I'm also treated like a king here too~" He said in a carefree tone.
Amy only blinked at him as she was fuming. "WHO said you can do that?"
"Uh, you did, remember?" Scourge inquired, his feet still on the coffee table, and his quills still drenched from getting tossed into the ocean.
"I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING!" Amy screamed.
"Well you said I could stay here!" Scourge replied back as his moments of peace were interrupted by Amy.
"I said that, and I told you to behave!" Amy said, growling a bit.
"Yeah yeah whatever..." Scourge mumbled before Amy sat next to him with a towel. "...What're you doing?" He asked.
"Helping you get dry, dummy!" Amy said with a slight frown, as he wrapped the towel around Scourge's body.
"...What the hell? What are you doing?" Scourge exclaimed.
"I'm helping you dry off," Amy simply stated. "I wouldn't want you to get sick, pneumonia is a serious illness you know."
"Tch. Since when you were such a nerd, Pinky?" Scourge asked with a scowl as the towel covered his whole body. The warmth of the towel did feel nice, he admitted to himself.
"Well me being a NERD is saving your life!" Amy huffed as she came back to give Scourge an ice pack for his bruises.
"ACK! THAT'S TOO COLD!" Scourge let out a scream.
"WELL HOLD STILL!" Amy screamed back. "I don't want your injuries to get worse!" She said with a frown.
Scourge growled as the coldness of the ice pack stung on his body. "...You're really insistent on helping me and putting that ice pack on my body," Scourge began as a smirk was about to become plastered on his face. "You want me or something? Because I am pretty co- OW!" Scourge yelped as the ice pack was sent flying to his face. Amy huffed as before she regained her composure.
"...I suppose since you're staying here, I should show you to your room..." Amy started. "Come on! It's this way!" Amy said to Scourge with a smile, prompting the green hedgehog to plop onto the floor face first and follow her there.
Amy picked up with Scourge with one hand and opened up her guest room. "This is where you'll be staying!" She beamed.
Scourge looked around his room. It was white and had minimalist furniture. "Bor~ing," Scourge said, letting out a look of disapproval. "This room needs something..." He said with a slight smirk.
"Where are you go-"
Scourge zoomed off and came back into the room rapidly decorating. Lime green walls with black accent marks and graffiti on one side of the room saying 'SCOURGE WUZ HERE'.
"What the?!" Amy gawked as she looked around in the new and improved room.
"There! Now it adheres to MY tastes!" Scourge said, proudly admiring his work. Amy was still in a state of shock.
"HOW DARE YOU VANDALIZE THE WALL!" Amy shrieked as she looked at the writing.
"What? This is where I'm staying at, aren't I?" Scourge asked. "I needed to... spruce up the place, or whatever the hell you sissies call it."
Amy turned red as she was fumed, again. "...Just as long as you don't write on the other walls." She mumbled to herself as she went into the living room. "I'm going to make some food now. Do you want anything special?" She asked Scourge gently.
"Hmmm..." Scourge began, as he was already situated on his bed. "Eh, your food sucks anyways, so nothin' will really impress me." He replied.
Amy's jaw dropped and she was about ready to strike Scourge with her hammer. She had seen a lot of crime podcasts, and was thinking about possibly being in one of them as she menacingly looked at him, who was too busy looking smug and full of himself to notice Amy's death glare.
"...Ok. I'll call you when it's ready," Amy said as she smiled at him weirdly before she slammed the door.
Scourge only smirked as he lounged on his bed, feeling like a king again. "Heh. this is gonna be great. First I'll have Pinky do all of my bidding, and then I'll go destroy Stupid Blue!" He exclaimed to him.
"...It is getting quiet here though..." He said to himself out loud, looking up and reminiscing about the past.
He had memories of his home being quiet, with neither Anti-Jules nor Anti-Bernadette really bothering to take care of him. Sometimes he'd have to starve or wait until they came home really late to eat.
"I sure am hungry," A young Anti-Sonic said to himself. looking at his stomach which had growled in the empty, lonely house. The sound of his stomach rumbling echoing through the halls. Anti-Sonic got up from the couch and waddled his tiny feet into the kitchen, seeing only eggs in the fridge. Anti-Sonic frowned, taking out the carton of eggs and setting them on the kitchen counter. He gently turned on the stove, and cracked two eggs onto the pan, the eggs having the eggshells accidentally sprinkled in here and there. Anti Sonic carefully watched over the eggs, making sure they had not been burning. When he tried to flip them however, his arm got burned. Anti Sonic let out a scream and cried a little.
Eventually, his food was finished and he sat down at the dinner table. They looked a little undercooked and barely sufficient, but to Anti Sonic, it was still food nonetheless."...Thank you for dinner, Mom and Dad..." Anti Sonic said with a frown. He then glanced outside and saw a lovely, loving couple taking out their child to eat at a nice, fulfilling restaurant, one where they had lots and lots of food. The child was smiling, as his parents hugged and gave him lots of affection. Anti Sonic had tears in his eyes and he continued eating. He heard the door open, and finally saw his parents!
"...Oh look Bernadette. It's our accident, and he's made a mess out of our kitchen." Anti -Jules' voice words rang into the little Anti-Sonic's ears.
"Oh just ignore him, he's not important anyways." Anti Bernadette's voice replied. Anti Sonic just silently cried as he ate, until he spoke up.
"I hurt myself trying to make food today," Anti Sonic said, showing the burn on his arm.
"...So? What do you want us to do about it?" Anti Bernadette retorted in response.
"Yeah... be a man and deal with it! At least then you'll be less annoying." Anti-Jules said, before he slammed their bedroom door on Anti Sonic's face.
Anti-Sonic just stood there and went to a corner of the home, crying his eyes out as his burn was hurting him pretty badly.
Scourge felt his eyes get misty as he still laid upon his bed, the harsh memories still paging in his heart. Amy Rose was stupid for making him feel weak with her hospitality, he thought to himself as he huffed.
Meanwhile, Amy was making a mean meal, if you could say that. She was furiously cooking as Scourge's words rang in her head. Her food was terrible?! Nonsense! Everyone loved her cooking, especially her darling Sonic!
"Stupid Scourge..." She mumbled. "How could he say such a thing?!" She huffed, angrily chopping up peppers as she silently screamed inside. She had felt tears in her eyes forming, but she didn't want to let them out, not yet at least.
"Scourge! Dinner's rea-" Amy was interrupted as Scourge came running out of his room looking almost ready to eat, which took the pink hedgehog by surprise.
"...O...k?..." Amy squeaked out as she served Scourge his plate. She had expected some mean comment coming out of the green hedgehog's mouth, but no mean comments came out and Scourge devoured what she had made. Amy smirked a little. 'He's gonna realize it's super spicy!' She thought to herself mischievously. Amy grinned as she saw the green hedgehog finish his plate.
"...The fuck you looking at, Pinky?" Scourge asked, being a little weirded out as he saw Amy's grin.
"How's your food, Scourge~" Amy asked as she got up in Scourge's face, her green eyes popping out of their sockets to look deeply into Scourge's.
"...Tastes a little bland," Scourge bluntly replied, shrugging in the process. Amy waited patiently for the spice to kick in, ready to see the look on Scourge's face as he begs for mercy. Suddenly, Scourge's face was red and sweaty, before he emitted fire out of his mouth. Amy took out a hot dog on a skewer as she roasted it from the fire from Scourge's mouth.
"...So how was it?" Amy asked with a shit-eating grin.
"...Holy shit! That was the best tasting food I have ever eaten!" Scourge gawked as he grinned.
"Huh?!" Amy gawked. "You liked it?"
"Of course I did! I love spicy food!" Scourge replied.
Amy was unsure if she should have felt annoyed or happy. She had zero clue this would actually work! Regardless, she seemed to be happy that Scourge actually liked her food.
"...Anyways ya pink dork, so what's next?" Scourge asked before he pushed his plate aside and put his feet up. Amy 's happiness was quickly diminished however upon seeing this as she frowned.
"...You NOT doing that, first off!" Amy exclaimed, hands on her hips.
"Why? Is my coolness too much for you to handle, Pinky?" Scourge said to her with a smirk.
"BECAUSE THIS IS MY HOUSE YOU JERK!" Amy screamed at him, her head getting comically large as everything in her home shook.
"WELL I'M YOUR GUEST AREN'T I?" Scourge screamed back, "NOW YOU BETTER TREAT ME RIGHT, YOU BITCH!"
Amy didn't know why she was taken aback by Scourge's cruelty, but she was anyway. She wasn't expecting Scourge to call her a bitch, much less having the audacity to. "YOU JERK!" She cried out as she hit him, where Scourge only evilly smirked.
"What? I could have called you worse..." Scourge mumbled, having a slight evil smirk towards the end there.
"...How am I going to tell everyone you're staying with me..." Amy said, as she sighed in defeat as she buried her face in her hands.
"...Why would you need to?" Scourge inquired.
"Because you're public enemy number one! Everyone needs to know that you're here on Mobius! Who knows what you're up to?!" Amy exclaimed.
"...Well aside from kicking Blue's ass and checking out all the women here, I'd say that I'm on the down low for now..." Scourge said bluntly, earning a glare from the pink hedgehog. "What's with the look? Are those bedroom eyes?" He asked, before Amy facepalmed.
"Well anyways, I need you to clean up your mess, can you do that for me?" Amy asked in a sweet tone.
"Clean up? What's that?" Scourge asked.
"...Are you serious." Amy replied in a dark tone.
"Uh, yeah?"
"You know, where you wash the dishes and stuff!" Amy explained.
"Ohhhh..." Scourge started. "...Nah, I've got you for that, don't I?" Scourge said, shoving the dirty dishes he had for Amy to clean.
"WHAT?!" Amy screamed. "YOU need to do this too!" She exclaimed, stomping her foot as she turned red.
"Nuh uh! I'm going to see if you have anything fun, ya got any magazines or something?" Scourge asked.
"IS WOMEN ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT?!" Amy shouted, the house shaking again.
"Hell yeah! Did you see the titties on that one sheep girl? Ooh, and Rouge!" Scourge said in a lustful manner. "Now she is hot! Hers must be big, squishy pillows..." Scourge finished, but not before he heard a-
PIKO PIKO!
and Scourge was sent flying outside, having been smashed through several of Amy's walls as she effortlessly thwacked him upside the head. Steam emitted from her hammer and from Scourge, who had a comically large bump on his head as he groaned in pain.
The next thing he knew, he was in his room again being treated by Amy, who gave him a nice sized ice pack to treat the bump.
"Don't you ever try that stunt again, do you understand me." Amy said dangerously through gritted teeth, squeezing out a towel of its water.
"Uh huh..." Scourge replied, having swirls for eyes as the wind was still knocked out of him for some reason.
"Honestly, it's a wonder how Fiona chose you over Sonic..." Amy muttered under breath, in a volume just low enough for Scourge not to hear. She also took out some bandages and wrapped him up in a nice, warm blanket.
"There, you should be able to get better now, just let me know, if you need anything, ok?" Amy asked in a stern tone, though there was a hint of gentleness to it. She closed his door on the way out.
Scourge did in fact hear Amy, because the second she left, Scourge angrily took out the blanket and all other remedies for him to make him feel better.
"STUPID PINKY!" He snarled, as he was squirming in his bed. He stood on top of it, only to realize that everything still had hurt. He grimaced as he quietly went down.
And so he did, silently cursing the pink hedgehog as there were tears coming down his face. Yeah Fiona chose him over Sonic, he repeated in his head, 'That just means I'm better!' He pouted.
Meanwhile, Amy was laying down on her bed. just facing the ceiling. Amy sighed heavily as she let out a groan.
"...Why is he so unbearable to be around?!" Amy groaned as she buried her hands in her face. She really didn't like how Scourge was acting, and had been acting. She knew he was not the greatest person to be around, so why did she let him stay with her? She didn't tell him, but she secretly wanted him to change, to be a better person. She secretly wondered if maybe there was something more to the Mean Green.
"I know exactly what I'll do!" Amy said as a mischievous grin formed on her face. "I'll kill him with kindness!" She said in the end as she smiled.
Her smile quickly faded as she remembered something. "How will I tell everyone about Scourge the Hedgehog staying at my home?" She asked herself quietly, before she got up and had an idea.
The house was still that night, as the Mean Green went fast asleep, with Amy following suit a bit later.
