(Location: Backroads of Canada)
(Owen's Point of View)
Logan nodded his head as he drove down the road.
I closed my eyes for a few moments as I thought of the situation that I found myself in.
After I opened my eyes, I asked the driver, "So, Logan, where are we going?"
He huffed and said in a gruff voice, though there was no hostility in it, "It does not matter."
I shrugged and said, "Fair enough." I used the Force to enhance my senses and to try to use the famous precognition.
We rode in peaceful silence down the Canadian Road.
After several hours of driving, I felt something off… I felt as though something terrible could happen.
We were driving through a forested back road, with dawn swiftly approaching.
I barked out an order and used the Force to help persuade or compel Logan to do it, "STOP!"
The clawed mutant obeyed and slammed on the brakes on the icy road.
A large tree fell in the middle of the road. I used the Force to pick it up and throw it towards where I sensed a sapient life form.
I heard an animalistic roar. Logan's reaction told me that he heard it as well. As he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. He began to floor the gas pedal.
I growled softly and said, "I do not think that we can out drive him… we might be able to stand and fight him."
Logan nodded his head and said, "True, but are you certain that you want to try it, bub?"
I smirked and said, "I am itching for a fight."
He smirked and said, "As you wish." He slowly slowed down and stopped his truck, then got out of the vehicle, and I followed his lead.
We walked through the snow and walked toward the back of the camper.
I muttered, "I really wish that I had a Light Saber right now…"
I said in a louder voice, "Back to back and work together."
Logan nodded his head and went back to back to me then drew his claws out."
I reached around then, grabbed onto a claw and absorbed the Adamantium. Turning my whole body into the nigh indestructible metal.
Logan grunted. "You are just full of tricks, aren't ya?"
I smirked and said in amusement, "I guess that you could say that."
About fifteen seconds later, a tall man with a blond lion's mane and amber-colored eyes growled and stalked toward us like an animal hunting its prey.
With a roar, Saber Tooth charged toward us on all fours.
I rolled my eyes and, reached a hand out, using the Force, and caught him a few feet away from Logan and me. I made an Adamantium chain with a coin-like thing at the end of it before I reverted back to my human skin as I walked toward Saber Tooth, keeping a hand out stretched, pinning him in the air.
I grabbed Saber Tooth by the forehead and began to absorb his D.N.A. I copied his healing factor and powers, and I kept it up for some time until I knew it was permanent. I smirked and said, "Why are you here?"
He growled and roared at me.
Logan asked, "What did you do?"
I shrugged and said to him, telling him a half lie, "Nothing much. Trying to get into the thick skull of his." The truth was, I was absorbing and copying his D.N.A., his powers, namely the healing factor.
Logan growled at Saber Tooth and punched him in his temple, knocking Saber Tooth out cold.
I asked Logan, "What do you want to do with him?"
Logan grunted and said, "I do not care. Ditch him."
I nodded my head and said, "Let's send him away…." I closed my eyes, and then I thrusted my hand forward and sent Saber Tooth flying far, far away.
I asked Logan, "Want to keep driving?"
Logan grunted and muttered, "Well, that was anticlimactic. Let's roll."
With a nod, I got into the passenger side of the truck and entered.
He stepped on the gas pedal, and we began to drive away from where I had thrown Saber Tooth.
I muttered to myself, "I wonder how long it will take for him to recover and find us again."
Logan said in a dry voice, "If he does, just throw him further away."
"Hardy har har," I said in a slightly annoyed tone of voice.
Logan chuckled and said, "Where are you from, kid?"
I sighed and said, "I can't remember… my find is fuzzy at best… at the moment."
Logan gave me an empathic look, knowing what it felt like to lose your memories.

Life has been busy, and I really have not had the time to write a lot. I wish that I had time to write more often, but life is not fair.
