Me: Hello everybody, my name Tokuniverse11 and welcome back to My Toku to Hero Academia! Now we are at what should be USJ Incident, but after discussing and planning out the arc with Milarqui, we are once again doing an original take of it.

Some changes to previous chapters like Melissa's photon quirk is now renamed as 'Star Light' because comic book references in Stargirl from DC Comics and Starlight from The Boys. Also to reference the Nursery Rhyme 'Star Light, Star Bright'.

So sorry for the long wait, can't believe it has been a year since the last update, but I'm here now. How are things with you Milarqui?

Milarqui: Well, it's been so long since we did this last that I barely remember the story! But let's get into it once more...

Also taking a note from Emerald Phoenix, Bakugo can detonate any of the sweat on his body, making him more versatile here just like in that story.

Another thing, I am going to start adding the previously and next time at the beginning and end respectively.

With that out of the way, let's action!

Chapter 6: Unforeseen Classrooms Labyrinth Part 1

"Previously on My Toku to Hero Academia, the many students of Heroics 101 were put to the test, as many were paired up into two except for Midoriya Izuku, whom All Might felt could accomplish a trial by himself. The students' results varied with Izuku receiving his usual praise, but Katsuki in particular is the only student to harm civilians on his report causing a hit to his pride. As the students finish up their first day in Heroics 101, a sinister figure makes their move..."

Outside of the bustling cities of Japan was a school bus driving through the road, full of chirpy children who were either singing, playing or showing off their Quirks. Only one of them, Izuku Midoriya, remained quiet, just looking out of the window with a calm smile. His best friend Katsuki, meanwhile, was talking with two of his friends, Tsubasa (a winged chubby boy) and "Fingers" (the kid who could stretch his fingers – he had a name, but everyone in class called him like that). Both of them had apologized for their bullying of Izuku after the incident with the monster, and Izuku had, naturally, been willing to give them a chance.

But now, the bus was driving past a gate and towards a building that caused everyone to chatter in excitement at the sight. They were itching with interest as the driver pulled up and parked the large vehicle next to the corresponding sign.

"Okay, remember the field trip rules, children. No pushing each other, and no Quirks!" their teacher said as the door finally opened, and she came out of the bus, followed by her pupils. As Izuku jumped off the bus, the look of excitement never left his face. "Everyone, partner up now."

As soon as the teacher spoke those words, Izuku found himself swarmed by his classmates.

"Midoriya, pick me!"

"Come on, Midoriya, let's be partners!"

"I'd really like to have you as my partner!"

Izuku felt a little overwhelmed; things may have started to look up for him ever since he got his Quirk, but he was still unused to the experience and the attention he was getting over it. Before he could even try to choose, a familiar voice called out.

"Deku is my partner, so all of you get lost!"

Izuku felt his right arm getting grabbed and being pulled away from the crowd. Much to the latter's chagrin, the one doing the dragging was Bakugo.

"Of course, Bakugo would just take him..." one of them muttered.

"Why doesn't he let any of us have Midoriya?"

In spite of being bummed out, the group quickly paired up and followed their teacher into the "Hero Museum of Justice", an institution dedicated to displaying the greatest feats carried out by heroes (both Pro and otherwise) since the Dawn of Quirks and the appearance of monsters. After a brief talk, a tour guide joined the group, and proceeded to lead them through the museum.

Starting with the exhibits on the vigilantes that had been the first defenders of justice before Pro Heroism was a thing, the guide proved his mettle as he rattled multiple facts about everyone that featured in the different wings, and as they reached better known grounds, those of heroes that were either alive but retired or currently in action, the interest grew. People like Endeavor or Edgeshot had their special exhibits, and DEFENSE even had its own hall. The students were wowed... but what all of them, particularly Izuku and Katsuki, were most excited to see, was in the biggest hall of the museum.

"Now, we're about to enter one exhibit that is, for obvious reasons, our most popular exhibit," the tour guide said as he led them into one room. "Welcome to All Might's hall."

"Wow."

"I can't believe this."

"This place is amazing..."

As the students looked around the Symbol of Peace's exhibit, filled with multiple displays that contained objects he had used in his tireless quest for justice and videos that showed some of his feats, Katsuki and Izuku remained focused on the golden statue standing in the middle of the exhibit, showing the Number One Hero grinning and looking defiant, as if he were about to fight with some other villain.

"This is so cool, Kacchan."

"Tell me about it, just watch Deku, we're gonna have our own exhibit room in the future when we become heroes, I just know it," Katsuki replied, grinning pridefully at the All Might exhibit.

"Didn't you two almost get in trouble with the Pro Heroes for fighting that monster?" one of their classmates commented.

"Yeah, you guys did vigilantism, that was bad..." someone else added.

Izuku's smile wavered a bit. Yeah, he and Katsuki had managed to bring down that monster – they had actually become the youngest people to ever bring down one monster in Japan – but they had still carried out an act of vigilantism. They had been lucky that the Pro Heroes and the police had been willing to let it slide, since they were acting in self-defence and they were very young. As it stood, they had still been reamed out by their mothers for their recklessness, but fortunately it hadn't gone too far, since they had been worried.

"So what? That just shows me and Deku are gonna become the greatest Number One and Two, that fight was just the beginning of our path!" Katsuki boasted, walking away satisfied to check on a different display.

"How can I become a great hero?" Izuku muttered, still looking up at the statue.

Present

"All Might, you called all of us to this meeting?" Ectoplasm asked, raising an eyebrow; at the request of their newest teacher, the faculty of U.A.'s Heroics Department had gathered in their meeting room.

"Yes. If you are willing, I would like to speak with all of you in regards to one of our students. Midoriya-shonen," All Might answered, smiling.

"Ah, yes, him," Nezu said, returning the smile. "I figured it was only a matter of time before we discuss the green elephant in the room."

"Indeed. You may have already seen what Midoriya-shonen can do with his powers, but, in case you need a reminder..."

All Might brought up a remote and pressed a button, causing the large screen behind him to display the video he had crafted, highlighting Izuku's performance in the Entrance Exam, Aizawa's Quirk Apprehension Test, and most recently the Heroes vs Criminals trial.

"Midoriya isn't just a problem child, he's a complete anomaly," Aizawa stated.

"I understand what you're getting at, All Might, we all already know what the boy is capable of doing, but why do we need to discuss this further?" Midnight asked.

"What you've seen so far is but a part of what he can do. Going by his own account, his Quirk is a combination of twelve different aspects he can use in different situations, and which he can even combine to create more powerful effects."

"Are you serious?" Vlad asked, shocked.

"I'm afraid I do. This is the information Midoriya-shonen has shared with me or that I have compiled, so you know what he can do."

All Might pressed the button again, and the video was replaced with a list.

Omnes Potestas Aspects

1. Mover (green): enhanced mobility.

2. Shaker (pink): area effects.

3. Brute (red): strength and durability enhancement.

4. Breaker (white): modifies laws of physics in himself or in a limited space around him.

5. Master (purple): limited control of other beings, people and animals included.

6. Tinker (yellow): advanced technology and engineering.

7. Blaster (orange): emission of energy at a distance, mostly offensive.

8. Thinker (blue): information gathering and processing.

9. Striker (grey): touch-ranged powers.

10. Changer (brown): shapeshifting.

11. Stranger (black): stealth and infiltration.

12. Trump (cyan): affects other Quirks.

The reveal of the full list sent the teachers reeling.

"Wow, didn't think that Greenie would be so OP," Present Mic joked; he had noticed the initials for the Quirk's new name and had thought them very appropriate, given the nature of the power.

Aizawa just sighed in exasperation and slammed his face onto the table.

"There's one thing that worries me, though. The Trump aspect... that seems the most dangerous, given how it directly affects Quirks," Cementoss pointed out, and everyone else warily nodded in agreement. The idea that one of their students had a power that could outright manipulate Quirks...

"I was just as shocked as you to hear of that one. However, Midoriya-shonen, while attempting to master it, he hardly uses it, and I know he has no intent to use it in ill will against other people," All Might reassured them, which did calm everyone down somewhat. "But, either way, you now know what he is truly capable of."

"With all those powers at his disposal, he truly is going to be a real monster of a hero," Snipe said.

"Quite so," Midnight added, her excitement growing.

"Yes, which me brings me to say... I really believe that Midoriya-shonen has already surpassed me."

Nezu spat his tea – an outright rarity, given how hard it was to shock him – while the other teachers' eyes widened in shock. The idea that an 18-year-old freshman college hero student could surpass the Number One hero sounded outright ridiculous and yet, the man himself had just admitted it to everyone.

"Which is why I am asking you to help nurture his heroism, and ensure that his dream is fully realized here. That way, I am certain that he will definitely become the greatest hero of all time."

Most of them immediately nodded in agreement. It was clear to them that Izuku wasn't an ordinary student, someone to take lightly; no, they had to do what they could to ensure he would become a great hero in the future.

None of them wanted to imagine what would happen if he were to become a villain.

"No need to worry, All Might! Now that we know Midoriya better, you can rest assured that the boy will only get the best from us," Present Mic stated.

Satisfied with the answer, All Might jumped up from his chair and posed with a grin.

"Great, thank you, that's all I needed to ask for. Now this meeting is over, have a nice weekend!"

All Might proceeded to speed out of the meeting room, leaving a trail of dust behind himself.

"That was a lot to take in..." Aizawa commented, slowly walking out the room, followed by the rest of the faculty.

Soon enough, Nezu was the only one left in the room, and he grabbed the remote so he could rewatch the video footage All Might had compiled for their benefit.

"Hmm... guess I should really pay more attention to you from now on, Midoriya. Hope you have more surprises in store for us and the rest of the world," Nezu said, chuckling.

The first week of U.A. University's spring semester had ended, and the students, both new and returning, were using their free time to study, hang out, or even go out somewhere off campus. The Heroics freshmen students had chosen to set up a party for themselves in a large meeting room, after requesting for permission from the teachers, of course.

Katsuki and a few of his classmates had commandeered one of the kitchens, and were now working to prepare food for the party. As Katsuki cut up some vegetables, he acted in his usual hot-blooded manner while the pot of water near him was boiling.

"God fucking dammit!" Katsuki cursed as he grazed his finger with a knife. Fortunately, there was no actual cut.

"Got the ingredients you asked for, Kacchan," Izuku said, pulling a grocery bag and handing it to Katsuki, who looked at the contents and made a small nod of appreciation. Izuku nodded back, and Katsuki handed the ingredients to the other cooks to continue preparing their feast.

Meanwhile, Eijiro, Tetsutetsu, Mezo and Jurota were bringing more chairs to the room, while Camie was helping Mina, Kyoka, and Denki set up an stereo system. When she plugged the last output into the wall, Camie nodded, and turned to Denki.

"Alright, light it up!"

Denki turned on the music, and the whole room started to vibrate: they had accidentally set it up at the maximum volume, and now everyone was covering their ears to block the absurdly high sound.

"FUCKIN' HELL, SOMEONE TURN THAT SHIT DOWN, DAMNIT!" Togaru yelled as he looked into the room. Kyoka quickly found the volume control and turned it counter-clockwise, leaving the music to a more tolerable level.

"God, that hurt," the musician complained. Her Quirk made her particularly sensitive to loud noises, and this one had been way too much. "I think we're almost ready."

"Oh, this is going to be so fun," Mina commented, grinning in excitement.

Meanwhile, Itsuka and Momo were making their way to the same room pushing trays of already prepared food.

"So... Yaoyorozu-san, I have to ask, when did you fall for Izu-kun?" Itsuka asked, feeling curious. Momo blushed and smiled as she looked over to the ginger girl.

"The week before the Entrance Exam. Long story, I'll tell you later," she replied, as Itsuka returned the smile.

"I'm going to hold you to it. Gotta be honest, you interrupted my confession at the beach, so you owe me."

"How long have you felt like that for Izuku-kun?"

"Years. Ever since we met at our martial arts class. There's... something about his personality that I can't quite explain."

"You're not the only one," Momo pointed out, glancing at Ochako, Mina, Setsuna, and Camie, all of whom were taking glances at the boy both of them liked. "Looks like our boy is getting himself a 'harem'."

"Let's just hope it won't be too much for him..." Itsuka replied, sighing. She was all too aware of how polyamorous relationships were legal, and hoped there wouldn't be too many girls going after the green cinnamon roll.

Romantic discussions were forgotten an hour later, as the forty Heroics 101 students enjoyed themselves, eating the gourmet-level food prepared by their classmates, talking with each other or dancing to the music playing in the whole room. Katsuki was leaning against the wall, holding a cup and a hand in his pocket, just watching his classmates having a good time – but not fully able to join in, because the events of the previous day were still in his mind...

After leaving the locker room, Katsuki took the path towards the dorms, slouching and with both hands in his pockets. He was still stinging over his Heroes vs Criminals test: it may have been an accident, but he had still harmed two 'civilians' in the simulation. Crunching the paper that contained his report into a ball, he tossed it into a trash can, and got a minor satisfaction in seeing it fall inside. He then threw himself over the first bench he saw, arms spread out as he looked up at the twilight sky.

"Damn it!" he cursed. "Stupid civilians, they got in my fucking way when I fired my Panzer, I could've gotten the fastest time!"

"Still dwelling on it, I see."

"Fucking shit!" Katsuki yelled, startled, as All Might slid on the bench next to him.

"Young man, I know you didn't mean to harm those civilians in the test," All Might continued, ignoring the student turning the air blue, "but the truth is... heroes aren't perfect. Everyone makes mistakes that end up haunting them, and it's something we have to carry as a burden. However, we can also learn from those mistakes, and use them to remember how to become stronger and better. That's something you will have to learn, going forward as a hero, Bakugo-shonen."

Katsuki let the words sink in for a while before standing back up again, his back turned towards All Might.

"Hmph, whatever. I'm still going to be the number one hero and surpass you," he declared, walking away and trying to hide how his hero's encouragement had cheered him up. All Might just laughed.

"I have no doubt you will! I really look forward to seeing that!"

"Kacchan!"

Katsuki shook the memory off and looked up to see Izuku beckoning him to sit in the empty chair to his right. That was when he realized everyone else had also picked a chair and sat, forming a circle. Even the music had stopped.

"Come on, it's time to introduce ourselves!"

He hesitated. He had never been one to talk with other people like this, he was more of the 'sort it out in the battlefield' way – but he just rolled his eyes and sat down, his half-empty cup on the ground next to him.

"Alright, so everybody say your name and what you like doing! I'll go first, so totes psyched to meet you! Name's Utsushimi Camie, and I like shopping and partying!" the fawn-haired girl said, as cheerful as ever.

"The name's Kaminari Denki!" the blond guy next to her – Katsuki vaguely remembered him speaking of Deku's Quirk – said, pointing at himself with both thumbs. "I like fast food, trendy things, and ladies!"

The girls rolled their eyes in amusement as the red-haired teen next to Denki sat down. Izuku noticed the scar above the right eye, and how his teeth looked sharper than the norm – but he still looked like a friendly sort, given how he smiled.

"I am Kirishima Eijiro! I like meat, manly things, and Crimson Riot, the manliest hero in Japan!" he stated, as the next in line took that as the cue to present himself.

"I am named Tokoyami Fumikage," the raven-headed boy said, sounding grave even in this festive atmosphere. "I am partial to apples and dark places. Thank you very much."

The next in line was a tall, lean boy with almond-shaped eyes and a friendly grin, displaying a wide smile.

"Yo! My name is Sero Hanta! I like oranges, soybeans, and healthy food! I look forward to get along with all of you!"

Next to him was someone that was Asiatic but clearly not Japanese, judging by his appearance. With black braided hair, reptile-like eyes, and small irises, he looked a bit out of place.

"Rin Hiryu. I'm originally from China. I like zongzi and dislike winter."

A tired-looking boy with messy indigo hair was next.

"Hi. I'm Shinso Hitoshi. I like cats and cycling. That's all."

After him came a girl with green, vine-like hair, who seemed to have braided it in the form of a crown, and a gentle smile.

"Greetings to you all. My name is Shiozaki Ibara. I like bread, a gift from Our Holy Father. May God bless you."

Everyone looked at the Christian girl strangely, but there was little thought given to it as a familiar red-hared girl with teal eyes stood up.

"Hello to you all. My name is Itsuka Kendo. I like black coffee and motorcycles."

It was Izuku's turn now, and he put an earnest expression on his face.

"Hello, everyone! I am Midoriya Izuku. I love Tokusatsu, katsudon, and Quirk analysis! I hope we can get along throughout our college years together!" he said, giving a bow and sitting down again. He was glad to notice that the others had reacted well to him.

It was Katsuki's turn now, and he just stood up, hands in his pockets and looking like a typical yankii.

"My name is Bakugo Katsuki! I like spicy food and mountain climbing! And I hate losing!"

'Typical Kacchan,' Izuku thought, rolling his eyes in amusement. At least it looked like he was getting over the bad report he got the previous day.

"I am Shishida Jurota," the beast-like man with shaggy brown hair said. "I love taking naps!"

As he sat down, the guy next to him stood, and stood out due to his unusual lack of lips, which left his teeth exposed.

"I'm Honenuki Juzo! I like giving and receiving massages!"

After him was a girl that had styled her hair so it resembled a mushroom, covering her eyes behind long bangs.

"Komori Kinoko! I like mushroom cuisine, edible mushrooms, and Matango!"

Next to Kinoko was a tall, muscular teen whose head looked like a pointy rock. Despite his look he appeared to be quite shy, as, instead of talking, he pulled out a small whiteboard and wrote on it, showing its contents as soon as he was done.

"My name is Koda Koji. I own a pet rabbit and like nature. Forgive me for the inconvenience."

After him, it was another teen as large as he was, but his head instead looked like a yellow dispenser with multiple holes on it.

"I'm Bondo Kojiro, and I like doing plastic models."

The next to stand up was a boy with spiky brown hair, oval-shaped eyes and an easy grin that only widened when his eyes turned to all the beautiful girls in the room.

"Tsuburaba Kosei! I like ball games and Tokusatsu like Midoriya, but on the Henshin side!"

After Kosei, it was the turn of a slender, purple-haired girl with triangular eyes and, most peculiarly, earphone plug-like earlobes that she could apparently move.

"Name's Jirou Kyoka. I love rock. And I hate perverts," she said, giving a warning glare at Denki and Kosei, both of whom shivered.

It seemed like the strange features were not done with, as the next to speak up was a short young man whose head looked like an actual comic book speech bubble.

"Fukidashi Manga! I like drawing and making children smile!"

After him came someone that was blatantly American – she had the stereotypical hair and eyes and looks – and she smiled widely.

"Hello to all of you! I'm Melissa Shield! I come from I-Island and I love astronomy and engineering!"

The students broke into whispers at that: I-Island's fame as the source of some of the world's most advanced technology was paramount, and it looked like she had also been involved in that.

They went silent as the tallest boy in the class, silver-haired, wearing a facemask and a specialized uniform designed to take his extra arms into account, stood up.

"I'm Shoji Mezo," he spoke – but instead of the expected, he was speaking through a mouth that had grown at the end of one of his arms, making everyone feel a tad nervous. "My favorite foods are takoyaki and squid ink pasta."

The pink-haired girl that had beaten everyone at the seated toe touching test stood and flashed everyone a mischievous grin.

"Alright, it's my turn! The name's Ashido Mina! I like break dancing, natto and okra! Pleased to meet you all!" she said, giving them all a double peace sign before sitting down.

It was finally Momo's turn.

"I am Yaoyorozu Momo. I enjoy reading all sorts of things, especially illustrated encyclopedias. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She bowed and returned to her seat, not before throwing a wink at Izuku, who blushed in response – something that didn't go unnoticed by some of the girls.

Next to Momo was a blond guy with a face that could only be described as 'smug personified'.

"Pleased to meet you all. I'm Monoma Neito. I like French cuisine and European comics. I have to say that we have quite the powerful class here, and that's just bad news for the other classes!"

Half the class felt the metaphorical sweat drop at the back of their heads, while the other half just rolled their eyes. Not that they could do much, as the next in line, a chubby boy with a round face, stood up.

"I'm Shoda Nirengeki. People call me Mobile Adonis, and I like boxing."

Ochako quickly jumped up from her seat, smiling at everyone.

"My name is Uraraka Ochako! I like stargazing and love mochi! Please, let's get along!" she chirped before taking her seat back, making some of the girls giggle.

After her came someone that was also American, but with yet another peculiarity in that she had a long pair of horns and her feet resembled horse hooves.

"Hi, I'm Tsunotori Pony! Like Shield-san, I am American! I love apples and anime!"

That was when the next girl stood up. This one looked a bit like a ghost, with her long grey hair and with her arms bent so her hands were up front.

"Yanagi Reiko. I like perusing the Internet in search of stories that speak to my interest in the occult."

Then it was back to guys, in this case a guy with dark brown shaggy hair and eyes that gave the impression of him being quite lazy.

"My name is Kaibara Sen, and I like photography!"

Next was a girl with deep green hair and eyes and a wild smile, jumping up in excitement.

"Greetings, everyone! I'm Tokage Setsuna, and I love dinosaurs and Kaiju films!"

A guy that was somehow all black except for his hair stood next.

"I am the shadow, Kuroiro Shihai! I like exploring the dark nature of taboos and I also like squid ink pasta."

After the dramatic introduction, it was the turn of someone most people recognized easily: his bi-colored hair and the burn scar over his left eye made him stand out, and everyone knew he was the youngest son of the Number Two Hero, Endeavor. The boy looked mildly overwhelmed before he stood up.

"Todoroki Shoto. I enjoy Zaru Soba and Jidaigeki films," he greeted before sitting down immediately after. Some of the others shrugged at the abrupt action before moving on.

"My name is Iida Tenya!" the blue-haired boy said, bowing stiffly to the rest of the group. "I like studying and beef stew! I hope we can all have a prosperous time here in this most prestigious college of U.A.!"

As Tenya bowed again and sat down, the next to speak was someone that resembled Eijiro, but with the red being replaced by steel grey.

"Alright, I'm Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu! I really like fighting games and spinach!"

"That's a mouthful of a name," Izuku muttered as the tall, slender guy with a green mohawk and insect-like pincers on his mouth spoke up.

"And I am Kamakiri Togaru! I love collecting insects and I am very eager to carve up some monsters!"

After him it was the turn of someone who... well, she was invisible. The only reason they could tell she was there was her clothes, who clung to her form as she gave an excited little jump and waved at everyone.

"Before I introduce myself, Shield-san, would you be kind enough to use your light Quirk on me?" she asked. Melissa raised an eyebrow before realizing what her classmate was requesting, so she joined her at the middle of the circle and and grasped her hands before letting out a glow of light through them.

Instead of going through her body, Melissa's Star Light was refracted within their invisible classmate and then emitted back out, but in different colors. What was apparently empty space suddenly revealed itself as a pretty young girl with long, messy, wavy chartreuse hair, bushy eyelashes, and big round eyes with pupils that wavered between teal and yellow.

"My name is Hagakure Tooru," she said, to the astonishment of her classmates. "I like shopping, plushies, and cute things. Please, take care of me!"

Melissa stopped using her Quirk and the girl became invisible once more as she turned to thank Melissa, and both of them returned to their seats.

"My name is Asui Tsuyu," a frog-like girl stated with a calm expression. "I like rainy days and jelly. Please, take care of me."

A boy with a distinct headband holding up his spiky black hair stood up next.

"I'm Yosetsu Awase. I like mobile games."

The brief introduction was quickly upstaged by the boy next to him, a blond teen that somehow had sparkles floating around him, and who acted as if he were participating in a drama play.

"Bonjour, je m'appelle Aoyama Yuga! I also like... myself! The pleasure is all yours!" he declared, before sitting down again with a flourish and an over-the-top wink. Everyone chose not to comment on how overdramatic he was as the last person in the group stood, a girl with black bob hair, cerulean eyes, and a very neutral expression on her face.

"I'm Kodai Yui. I like matryoshka dolls and Ultraseven," she simply said.

"Alright, like, we all know each other now, let's get the beat back on!" Camie said, and the party quickly resumed.

The only one not to join the feast was Hitoshi, who chose to move his chair next to the wall and sit on it, preferring to keep a distance from the rest of the group and only observe the others enjoy themselves.

"Shinso-san?"

Hitoshi's musings were interrupted when Izuku walked up to him, a cup in hand, and sat next to him.

"Say, why aren't you talking with the others?" he asked, curious.

"I prefer being alone," Hitoshi spat out.

"Really? Don't you want to make friends with the others?"

"No."

"I see... so, why did you come to this party, then?" Izuku asked as he drank from his cup.

"Monoma dragged me along with him, I'd sooner have stayed in my room," Hitoshi answered, annoyed that Izuku was trying to socialize with him when all he wanted was to be left alone.

"Okay, I have one question, and I'll leave you alone if you want. Why do you want to be a hero?"

Hitoshi huffed and looked the other way.

"Fine then, I will tell you. Ever since I got my Quirk, I kept getting ostracized because of it. Everyone kept saying that Brainwashing was a villain's Quirk, and no one was willing to say otherwise, because they all thought flashy Quirks were the heroic ones. So I decided I'd become a hero pursue my dreams, all so I could show them all..."

Hitoshi clenched his cup. It was the first time he had admitted his true reason for becoming a hero. At least he would be left a–

"Spite? Not the worst option. But I get it."

Hitoshi turned to look at Izuku, surprised.

"Shinso-san, I understand you didn't go through the best time of your life thanks to your classmates, and it can't have been easy to deal with people assuming the worst out of you after learning what you can do with your Quirk. But... they were wrong. A Quirk can't be villainous, or heroic. Every Quirk has the potential to be used for both good and evil. Me? I think you've got an amazing Quirk – you can actually stop people from doing something stupid without even touching them. Also, remember this: you got into U.A., Japan's best hero college, something only one in every three hundred applicants manage to do. You want to prove those people wrong? Drop the pity party and push forward. Unleash your full heroic potential and keep giving your all."

Izuku stood up again, intent on making good on his promise, and moved to talk with some of his other classmates, but stopped and looked over his shoulder.

"Last word of advice. If you want people to trust you and see you as a hero, maybe you should try to talk with them?"

With such parting shot, Izuku returned to mingle with his classmates, while Hitoshi wavered for a moment before following him. Perhaps there was something to the green-haired boy's words...

Outside the heavily fortified U.A. campus, a mysterious, dark-cloaked figure snuck around, doing their best to dodge the incredibly advanced security system, and placed several mine-like objects near the wall. It was only after placing the last object that they left, in appearance unnoticed.

Two days later, U.A. celebrated an event that was common to most Japanese educational institutions: Club Day, a day were the school's clubs would set up booths and attempt to recruit new members to their 'cause'. And, of course, the Heroics students were prime targets.

"Join the Leadership Club! From working with your agency to organizing collaborations, you can learn here!" one of them said.

"I would like to join this club!" Tenya said, appearing so fast to grab a brochure that the recruiter student nearly jumped a meter in the air.

Meanwhile, Izuku did the rounds, so to speak. There were many options to join, as proven by the many booths on U.A.'s grounds, and he wasn't surprised to see his classmates doing the same.

"Keep your eyes on the stars!" someone from the Astronomy Club shouted, Melissa and Ochako perusing its offer.

"Robo-Combat Club! Build your own bots and fight with others!" another boy said, trying to ignore the pink-haired maniac giving a hungry grin.

"Hey, hey, hey!" someone else shouted. "Join the Gaming Club, and become another player!"

Izuku ignored him and kept walking. So far, he had seen many possibilities, but nothing truly called to him.

"Power Analysis Club, where we have fun dissecting Quirks and how to use them!"

'That one sounds interesting!' Izuku thought, stopping in his tracks and following the source to a girl wearing a blue ponytail, accompanied by another guy wearing a bandanna around his head.

"You analyze Quirks?" he asked, barely able to keep his full excitement off his voice.

"Well, yeah! We meet on the regular and find ways to get people to learn better ways to use their Quirks!" the male recruiter answered.

"We also give recommendations and suggestions for support equipment," the girl continued.

"We already have several happy customers that have already reached the top 100 list!"

"All because of us."

"And completely worth the time! Anyone who comes for us for Quirk advice always comes out stronger!"

Picking up a brochure, Izuku felt intrigued. After years of analyzing Quirks/Meta Abilities for his own amusement and for ideas, This could be the first time he could put all that work to help others become better.

"Hmm. Maybe I could join this club..."

VREEEEEEEEEEE!

Everyone cringed in pain at the sudden noise, which was followed by an announcement through the loudspeakers.

"Level 3 security breach detected. All students, please evacuate outdoors promptly and in order."

Everyone at the club fair stood where they were, and were soon joined by the other students as they came out of the buildings.

And, of course, in everyone's mind was the same question.

"Who in the world managed to get through the security?" Given how U.A.'s security system was said to be tougher than that of some military bases, whoever did it had to be very skilled or very lucky.

Meanwhile, Eraserhead and Present Mic were forced to deal with a problem that shouldn't have been one.

"Give us All Might! He's here, isn't he?"

Reporters. Journalists. They had been setting up camp at the entrance ever since early in the morning, as rumors of the Number One teaching at U.A. suddenly came out.

Aizawa actually recognized the speaking reporter as one he had had to fend off earlier in the morning.

"We already told you, he is not here!" Present Mic snapped. He was a jovial, fun loving man most of the time, but when these journalists were not only repeating the same questions again and again, but were also posing a security risk for the students he was meant to protect, his annoyance was starting to get the best of him.

"Just give us one comment and then we'll leave!" another journalist said.

"The moment we give you something, you'll just want more," Aizawa replied, glowering. "That's how irrational you are."

"They are illegally trespassing," Mic whispered to his friend as he kept trying to make the reporters leave. "In fact, you could even call them villains. Do you think we can just beat them up?"

"No," Aizawa said, shaking his head. "They'll just complain about 'hero brutality', write a bunch of lies and omit how they were technically committing a crime. No, we better wait for the police to force them to leave."

Distracted as they were, they didn't notice the figure slipping around the crowd and into the college.

"How long before you get booted out, Seimei?"

"Just a few minutes, that rat didn't skimp on the electronic security system. I'm lucky to still be inside, hurry up with the objective and leave," a woman in a dark room coldly said, typing on a laptop at high speed while keeping an eye on a timer she had set up.

Finally, the police arrived, and the reporters were forced to leave by the officers, who threatened to arrest those that were unable to understand the concept of 'private property'.

"Goodbye, bad mass media! It's silence for y'all!" Present Mic taunted as the reporters vanished.

From the office at the top floor of the Heroics building, four people watched the events: Cementoss with his slab-like body; Snipe and his cowboy hat; Recovery Girl with her medical fatigues, and Principal Nezu. All of them could see the press leave... as well as how they had managed to get through his security.

"I doubt the ordinary members of the press were able to do something like that," Nezu pondered as he observed some of the remains his teachers had collected. "No, someone else instigated this. But, for what reason? Did something evil slip in... or was this intended to be a declaration of war?"

One thing was certain. Judging by what they had found, it seemed like someone had set up mine-like probes on the walls, which had self-destructed upon being found – but not fast enough to avoid being identified for what it was.

"Whoever tried to hack into our security system got booted out in time. But, the fact that they lasted so long doesn't speak of anything good..."

As business returned to normality, the Heroics 101 students found a note on the door, warning them to pick up their gear and report to the training grounds for 'Rescue Training', as well as mentioning a guest lecturer would be helping with this lesson.

It had been a matter of minutes before everyone was wearing their costume and support items, and they were now riding the bus to the rescue training grounds.

Izuku stretched out his suit: after the simulation trial, he had worked on creating a new version to take all his observations into account, and the result was what he called the 'Eidolon' suit.

He had changed the color scheme: instead of green and platinum, it now had a more varied color palette. The spandex, hood, and sleeves were black; the armor, gloves, and boots were now white with multi-colored outlines for the armor parts; the helm had a mix of black and white, and the cape now had a rainbow pattern on it.

"Hm, this is definitely better than the previous version," he commented, admiring the improvements.

"So, the Support Course upgraded your costume, Izuku-kun?" Momo asked to his left; flanked as he was by her and Itsuka, it was difficult to miss the question.

"Nope! I got to use one of the Support labs to update my suit," he replied.

"Nice, Izu-kun," Itsuka added, also admiring the looks in his costume. Izuku turned to Momo.

"You know, I'm seeing your costume, and if you want I have a few ideas on how you could maximize your ability to use your Quirk while helping preserve your modesty a bit better. Only if you want, of course."

"Sure, I would love that," Momo said, nodding. While she did like how it got Izuku's attention, she had to admit it was quite risqué and lacking in protection. Any ideas he could have were welcome.

"Same to you, Itsuka-chan," Izuku offered to the red-haired to his right, who nodded with a smile of appreciation.

"Thanks, Izu-kun."

"So, Midoriya-kun," Tsuyu intervened. "I'm wondering something. How were you born with such a versatile Quirk?"

"I have no idea. I guess I just won the Quirk lottery?" he suggested, shrugging.

"Whoa, hold up there. A lot of us didn't expect someone to be able to use their Quirk in so many situations," Eijiro said, entering the conversation. "It's so cool to have a very rare, versatile Quirk, and yours is really manly!"

"In my opinion, the most impressive Quirk is Shinso's," Neito butted in. The boy in question just looked the other way, ignoring the conversations around him.

"Eh, Green's Quirk can do that and more with the Master aspect," Setsuna countered – Izuku had shared the cliff's notes on what he could do with them already.

"Indeed, Tokage's assessment of the situation is quite correct," Jurota added.

"Yeah, Midoriya has it all!" Eijiro continued, turning his left arm's skin into sharp-edged rocky skin. "My Hardening's strong in a fight, but it doesn't look like much."

"Don't sell yourself short, Kirishima-kun," Izuku replied. "My Quirk isn't the only one that has aspects to it, it's just that it is harder for others to find theirs. Once you discover them, you'll be on the level of Pros, if not beyond them."

"Aspects, huh?" Eijiro smiled. "But that's not the only thing we all have to worry about – you also have to think of your popularity as a hero."

"My Navel Laser is Pro-level in both flashiness and strength," Yuga said with a confident smile.

"If it weren't for the fact that it makes your belly rumble if you use it too much..." Mina fired back, giggling at the Frenchman's annoyed face. "Shield-san doesn't have that problem, though!"

The blonde American girl smiled as well.

"Hey, the only person that embodies power here is Midoriya," Tetsutetsu stated. "Though, we've got a lot of people with flashy and strong Quirks in this bus. Like Bakugo, or Todoroki."

"Yes. But Bakugo's always mad, so he isn't likely to become very popular, though," Tsuyu bluntly said, causing the aforementioned to stand up from his seat and glare at her.

"The fuck you talking about, Frog? You wanna fight?" the explosive blond shouted. Not that Tsuyu seemed to be impressed at all.

"You like to prove my point, don't you?" she asked back.

"Oi, oi, come on, he's not that bad," Eijiro said, defending Katsuki.

"We just met a few days ago, but he showed on the party that his personality is shit steeped in piss," Denki commented.

"What's with that fuckin' vocabulary, you asshole? I'll kill you!" Katsuki (rather hypocritically) shouted at the electrical boy.

"Language!" Ibara interrupted, not liking how everyone kept swearing.

"Such a tasteless conversation," Momo stated, closing her eyes and sighing.

"Maybe, but that's just Bakugo," Itsuka replied, chuckling.

It was just at that moment that the bus began to slow down, clearly having reached their destination.

"We're here," Izuku (unnecessarily) stated, and as soon as the door opened, they filed out – to be greeted by someone wearing a white astronaut suit with two white eyes seemingly painted on it, and, quite strangely, a pair of yellow boots.

Anyone who was a fan of heroes instantly recognized the individual.

"Ohmahgodohmahgodohmahgod, it's the Space Hero Thirteen!" Ochako squealed, accidentally slipping into what Izuku thought must have been her hometown accent, as she met one of her favorite heroes. "The one who has rescued thousands of people from disasters!"

"I agree, Uraraka, such a heroic soul, always rescuing those in need," Ibara praised.

"Welcome, students, let's go inside without delay," Thirteen said.

"We look forward to working with you!" the heroes in training said as they followed their teacher inside the facility.

As soon as they entered the domed building the students were amazed by the sight before them.

The center of the was dominated by a garden with a large round fountain, which looked like quite the relaxing place to be in. Around it were paths that led to different zones, and even in the distance it was obvious that each zone was meant to simulate either a real-life disaster or a situation in which rescue efforts would be required, from a large lake that could serve for shipwreck training to another that had a large-scale fire running.

"Wow, it looks like Universal Studios Japan!" Mina said, grinning.

"Interesting comment young lady, because we call this facility the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint' or USJ for short!" Thirteen replied, apparently amused. "A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, windstorms, earthquakes... any and every situation where people might be in need of being rescued, is one that you will be able to train for in here!"

'It really is like the Universal Studios Japan...' everyone thought as Thirteen huffed.

"Let's see... before we begin, allow me to say one thing... er... two, or three... no, four... five... six... seven..."

The feeling of sweat dropping down their necks was something the students felt they would be quite familiar with.

Why is the number increasing so much?

"Oh, yes. Everyone, I am sure you are all aware of my Quirk, Black Hole. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust," the Space Hero said.

"You've been able to use it to save people from all kinds of disasters, right?" Izuku asked.

"Indeed... but this is a power that can easily kill other people. Some of you also have Quirks like that, right?"

Izuku looked at his hands, knowing quite well what Thirteen was talking about. He had actually killed once, so many years ago. It had been a monster, and it had been in self-defense, but, still...

"In our current society, personal Quirks have been certified and regulated, so at first glance, it might not seem like a problem. However, never forget that many Quirks can kill an innocent person if misused, not properly controlled, or during a fight, which is part of what you learned this past week – the Quirk Apprehension Test taught you about the possibilities your own Quirks have for physical use, while the Heroes vs. Criminals Trial allowed you to experience the potential and danger of using them against criminals in a controlled environment. Today, you will learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. And, by the end of the day, I hope you will understand that the real aim of your training isn't learning how to harm, but how to help. That is all, thank you for listening."

The students clapped at the speech as Thirteen took a bow.

"That was so inspirational," Izuku praised.

"This is why Thirteen is my favorite hero!" Ochako said with an enthusiastic applause.

"Before we begin, as we warned, we're also having a U.A. alumni here to assist in today's rescue training. I'm quite certain you'll recognize them." Thirteen looked to a side. "You can come up now."

From that side, the students heard someone coming up the stairs, and as soon as they came into view, everyone's reactions to the black-clad individual with white gloves and boots along with the iconic red cape were quite intense. There may have been some squealing here and there.

"Are you serious, the other famous Rescue Hero?!" Hanta exclaimed.

"Hello, everyone. Doesn't look like I need presentations, but for those that don't know me, I'm Reactor," the hero said, smiling at them.

"Ohmygod Reactor's going to be teaching us!" Sen commented.

Izuku and Katsuki glanced at each other. After all the times they had met him in the past year, it didn't have the same impact, but it was still quite the surprise.

Melissa just returned a small smile at the newcomer.

"Alright, now that introductions are out of the way, we can get started with the training," Thirteen stated, and the students became more excited.

The first zone they visited was full of collapsed buildings, ruins, and rubble of different sizes.

"Welcome to the Ruin Zone, an area that simulates the aftermath of an earthquake or a kaiju attack," Reactor said. "Usually, it's up to independent heroes to carry out search and rescue efforts during and after DEFENSE's fights. While every zone will have you rescue survivors in the form of training dummies, here your goal is to do so while dealing with all the obstacles you can find."

"Alright, let us begin," Thirteen added. "To start it off, Midoriya, you're up."

Izuku stepped up as his name was called, and as soon as Reactor gave him the OK, he ran into the simulation.

Walking around the setting, Izuku used Thinker to scan for the 'survivors' while keeping an eye on any of the semi-collapsed buildings that looked like they could fall at a gentle breeze. Finally, he pinged on a training dummy and used Mover to reach it, only needing Brute to dig through the pile of rubble and get the survivor out. Continuing the work meant finding dummies in all sort of places, like in a false underground train station or a partially collapsed building, until he finally detected the last one at the top of a building that appeared to have survived most of the attack, but with a good deal of damage to its structure.

Here goes, he thought. Reaching the last training dummy was relatively easy thanks to Mover, even as he had to avoid stepping on places that might worsen the structural damage, and soon enough he was back at the starting point, to be met with applause by most of his classmates.

"No surprise at all, Green," Setsuna said, grinning.

"Well, Midoriya, you finished your course in 1'58'', and you barely disturbed any places that could have caused further collapse. Good job," Reactor added, smiling.

"Thanks," Izuku replied, bowing.

"Very well. So... any of you wants to volunteer now?" Thirteen asked, and was not surprised when pretty much everyone raised their hands, causing Reactor to chuckle. "Let's continue, then."

"Landslide Zone. Try to rescue a survivor in sloped terrain covered with assorted debris."

Katsuki used carefully controlled explosions to fly above the debris and reached the survivor quite quickly. Ochako did something similar, floating herself up and then using Zero Gravity to float away what was covering the survivor.

The others just groused about how they went so fast, but still did their best to reach the target.

"Mountain Zone. Try to rescue a hiker stranded on a rocky, mountainous area filled with cliffs."

This was the time for climbers, and it showed. Togaru used Razor Sharp to create blades he could use as climbing aids. Hanta and Ibara used Tape and Vines, respectively, to grab any grips they could see. And Melissa didn't even bother with that, she just kept jumping between cliffs until she reached the hiker dummy.

"Conflagration Zone. Rescue a civilian trapped in a building in flames."

Izuku had managed to reach the dummy, but unfortunately he was now surrounded by flames. Fortunately, it was just a matter of using Blaster to start shooting water from his mouth and douse the way out of the place.

Shoto simply went for his tried and true tactic of cooling down the flames with his ice. Itsuka enlarged a hand to wave the fires away with quick palm strikes while the other protected the dummy. Momo created a fire extinguisher to put out the fires while she carried the dummy to safety.

"Flood Zone. Rescue the civilian on a ship in the middle of the lake."

Tsuyu quickly proved her skill in water rescue, as her Quirk allowed her to swim quickly and efficiently, so most of the work for her was in the time it took to reach the boat and return. Setsuna split herself in two and used her upper half to grab the dummy in a bridal carry and bring it back. Kosei created sets of solid air platforms to walk to the boat and carry the dummy to safety.

"Downpour Zone. Rescue a trapped civilian in an environment beset by heavy rainfall and strong winds."

As soon as Tenya got the dummy, he found himself pushed back by the intense wind – so he just unleashed his engines and propelled himself forward. Mezo just braved the rain and the wind while covering the dummy with his body. Jurota wildly ran with his legs and left arm while carrying the dummy with his right hand. And Eijiro and Tetsutetsu hardened themselves for protection against the harsh elements.

It had taken them most of the day, but finally all the zones had been completed, and everyone was back at the central plaza.

"Alright, we're officially done," Thirteen said. "Great job, all of you."

"Yes, and we hope this lesson helped you learn how to rescue people in accordance to the terrain," Reactor added with a smile, which the students returned.

"Now, we have compiled the results of your work and you should be able to access the results through the school application," Thirteen said.

"It's been a great honor to teach you. I was glad to be here to pass on my knowledge and experience to you all. Hope to see you next time," Reactor finished, walking away as he waved the students goodbye – and gave Izuku and Katsuki a nod as he left.

With the end of class, the students began to make their way out of the USJ, intent on reaching the rooms and take a good shower.

"Man, to think these lessons couldn't be any more fun!" Ochako remarked.

"I agree, modern technology really helps us find more engaging stuff to do," Melissa added: coming from I-Island, she really knew what she was talking about.

"Well, that's another type of training done, can't wait to... go back..." Denki said before he collapsed on the ground. Something that didn't go unnoticed.

"Geez, couldn't even wait to get on the bus to nap, Kaminari," Kyoka snarked, but looked rather worried as she checked on her classmate.

That was when another thud was heard, and the students realized Tetsutetsu was also unconscious.

"Guys, what's happening right n..." Shihai drowsily asked, but he, too, collapsed, followed by Kyoka – who did so on top of Denki.

By ones, by twos, and soon everyone was falling unconscious for some unknown reason.

"Izu-kun..." Itsuka said, following her classmates, and soon Izuku was the last man standing, trying to hold off whatever was bringing everyone down... but he couldn't summon his power fast enough. He did realize what had happened, but it was too late for him.

'Knockout gas...' he thought, laying on the ground, unable to stay awake. The last thing he saw before he fell unconscious as well was a dark fog engulfing everyone.

"Huh?"

Izuku quickly opened his eyes at the sound, but wherever they were was in complete darkness. Attempting to move his arms only revealed that he was tied to a chair with rather restricting ropes.

"W-What the fuck are these?" he heard Katsuki growl.

"Where the hell are we?" Denki questioned.

"Why, you're right where you belong, my 'heroes'," a female voice called out, and the room they were in lit up.

Izuku quickly noticed that the place they were in resembled a parody of a school setting, with multiple stairs and doors around them, and standing on a balcony was a woman with shoulder-length white hair, and wearing a white bodysuit with blue belt, gloves, and heeled boots.

Whoever this woman (much older than all of them) was, she was clearly the one that had kidnapped them – or arranged their kidnapping.

"That's right, kids," the woman said maliciously. "You're the latest people that will test the Classroom Labyrinth – and die in it in a painful and gruesome manner. As for who I am, let's just say I am who brings about the Calamity."

The trapped students looked at the woman in shock and fear. They were now defenseless, trapped with a villain, and no one knew what she intended to do with them.

"Uh-oh," Kosei mustered up.

"Next time on My Toku to Hero Academia, our students get abducted into a labyrinth by a villainess named Calamity and are placed in different classrooms to be killed in sadistic manner! Some managed to escape and finding others to rescue from their doom! They must take on the many threats in the Classrooms Labyrinth! How will the students escape this labyrinth of death?"

Me: And cut!

Milarqui, your thoughts?

Milarqui: Hmm, there were parts that were kinda long and repetitive to deal with, but, hey, it's your story. I'm just here for the cleaning.

A flashback shows Izuku and Katsuki at a hero museum! All Might discuss with the Heroic faculties on how Midoriya has surpassed him! The Heroics 101 students have a party and introduce themselves! Izuku pep-talks Hitoshi! Club events has been interrupted by reporters! Villains are planning something! The Heroic students do Rescue Training with Thirteen and Reactor! The students find themselves kidnapped by the villainess named Calamity!

Also here is a significant change here... the harem and this time I have been discussing extensively with Milarqui on it. I realized that I wanted a harem story with very capable females who can be important, become stronger and have relevant character development to this MHA reality other then being one of Izuku's lovers.

So here is Izuku's more realized and story-relevant ultimate permanent harem that me and Milarqui have officially decided on for this story: Itsuka, Momo, Camie, Melissa, Setsuna, Mina, Nejire, and Ochako. Yeah a Strange Fruit and another Emerald Phoenix reference, that latter story is awesome!

Also further info on Melissa's dual-quirk

Superhuman Factor

Type: Mutant

Range: Self

User: Melissa Shield

Description: The user has permanent and remarkable physical alterations to their body, giving them an array of physical attributes that are 3 times greater than most others: strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, durability, senses, and healing.

Drawbacks: The user requires a significant amount of energy/calories. The user needs to maintain a proper rest to support the enhanced physicality of the Quirk.

Star Light

Type: Emitter

Range: Medium to Long Range

User: Melissa Shield

Description: The user has the ability to project and control incredibly powerful visible light for various offensive and defensive capabilities with exceptional precision and range.

Drawbacks: Excessive frequent use of the Quirk, especially at full power, can lead to massive fatigue and sometimes cause burns on the user's body.

Trope Time-

* Jack-of-All-Stats: Melissa's Superhuman Factor and Star Light combination makes her a very well-rounded heroine, however, while she is stronger but Izuku, Mezo, and Jurota outclass her in strength, she is durable but Eijiro and Tetsutetsu are more tougher, she is fast but Tenya is faster, her senses are acute, but Kyoka's Earphone Jack have better scanning, she has good healing, but pales in comparison to Super Regeneration, and her light powers are good ranged offense, but Katsuki's Explosion and Shoto's Half-Hot have more destructive capabilities. Despite this, putting the two quirks and her non-enhanced high intelligence together makes Melissa pretty potent as U.A. Hero Student.

* Genius Bruiser: A few to say... Izuku, Katsuki yes him, and most notably Melissa.

However I don't need to have any flames or hate comments or... YOU WILL SUFFER FOR ALL ETERNITY! But if it's a brutal criticism that is well written and helpful advice then by all means go ahead, I need to get better, so lay it on me.

That's all for now folks, so please review, fave, follow, or all of the above. Thanks for reading everybody, we'll be seeing you in the next chapter, buh bye!
