Responding to guest reviewer "GhostRider00": First of all, YEESH! You need to learn how to use punctuation! Seriously! Second, I'm working on getting permission to use some OC aliens from DeviantArt for Ken's Omnitrix (and yes, I have a plan that doesn't involve the Omnitrix just sitting on a shelf). I've also invented one or two of my own Biomnitrix Fusion Aliens for Ben 10,000 to use. Third, Lincoln is only HALF Osmosian, and so is my OC, Gil. Despite being half Osmosian, Gil doesn't have ANY of his biological father's powers. I'm going to take my time with revealing the true extent of Lincoln's abilities.

Chapter 7

At first, Lincoln had his reservations about being alone with Gil, considering how rowdy and warlike Tetramands tended to be. However, the more time he spent with Gil, the more he realized how chill and laid-back Gil actually was. The two of them were sipping on lemonade after a challenging two-player co-op of Ken and Gil's copy of Sumo Slammers VII: Samurai Galactica, the sixth sequel to the classic Sumo Slammers video game. Gil had been nice enough to open a new profile just for Lincoln.

"Oh, man! I haven't had that much fun in a long time!" Lincoln said, leaning back against the couch cushions with a smile.

"Me neither. Gotta say, you're not a bad gamer, kid," Gil replied.

"Thanks." Lincoln's smile then fell. He was gonna have to tell Gill and the others this eventually, so he might as well get it over with. "Hey, Gil? Now that we've gotten to know each other a little, there's something you should probably know about me..." he began. Gil, however, had the wrong idea.

"I hate to disappoint you, pal, but I don't swing that way," he said, making Lincoln blush.

"Hey! That's not what I meant! And for the record, neither do I!" Lincoln took a deep breath and continued. "What I was going to say was that a few days ago, I found out that I can do this..." Lincoln reached over and grabbed his cup of lemonade, and his whole arm turned to glass. "At first, I thought I got mutated by my neighbor's Corrodium, but now I'm not so sure. According to my sister Lisa, I have perfectly intact human DNA. I don't know how or why I have these powers." The entire time Lincoln had been talking, Gil had been staring with his mouth agape.

Finally, he closed his mouth and said, "We gotta get you that DNA test."

"Huh?" Lincoln asked, prompting Gil to lay his top pair of hands on Lincoln's shoulders.

"Lincoln, this might be hard for you to believe...but now that you've told me this, there's a decent chance that at least one of your birth parents was an Osmosian!" he explained with a dead-serious expression. "Stay right here. I'm gonna go contact the Magister right now!" Gil went to his and Ken's room, got out the emergency communication hub that directly contacted Magister Rook, and turned it on. A holographic screen flickered to life, showing Rook's head and shoulders.

"Greetings, Gil. Are you calling because you have a dilemma?" Rook asked.

"I wouldn't call it a dilemma, per se, but I do need a favor," Gil replied. "You see, Blanca took in this kid who was being neglected, and I just found out that he can absorb matter. I'd like to request a DNA test for him. I know it's a long shot, but there's a chance he and I could be related!" Thankfully, it didn't seem to take long for Rook to make up his mind.

"I do not see a problem with something as simple as a DNA test," he conceded. "I will be sure to pass your request along to the proper department. I apologize, but it seems that my attention is required elsewhere. I must bid you good day." With that, the communication hub switched off.

Back with Ken and Blanca, Lori insisted that they both join herself and the rest of the older Loud sisters for lunch. Brief introductions were given before both Plumber agents signed autographs for Lynn and Luna. Blanca shared the story of how she found Lincoln and took him under her wing, to the great relief of the sisters who hadn't been told yet.

"It's cool with us if Li'l Bro isn't comfy with coming home yet," said Luna. "But I think he should come over in person to pick up his stuff. That way, he can hear for himself the story we wrestled out of Mom and Dad last night."

"Interesting proposition," Blanca replied. "On the one hand, Lincoln would be provided with a sense of closure. On the other hand, it could make him even more distressed than before. I am willing to see what the outcome will be."

The rest of the school day went by in a flash. Ken and Blanca returned to their house to find Lincoln and Gil playing more video games in good-natured competition. Lincoln let out a cheer as his avatar successfully defeated Gil's, making Gil groan in annoyance, but with a small smile on his face.

"It is good to see that you two are having fun," Blanca said with a warm smile.

"You bet! I haven't had this much fun since Bobby and Ronnie Anne moved away!" Lincoln exclaimed excitedly. "That's my big sister's boyfriend and his little sister, who's my age," he explained when he saw the other three's confused looks. "Bobby was like the big brother I never had, and Ronnie Anne was one of my closest friends. As a matter of fact, she and I were often mistaken for being a couple."

"Speaking of family," Ken spoke up, "We met your older sisters at school."

"Really? How did it go?" Lincoln asked.

"While they are very relieved that you are safe and sound, they want you to retrieve your belongings yourself. In person," Blanca replied, and Lincon paled.

"Hey, don't sweat it, dude," Gil said, patting him on the back. "The three of us will be right there with you. Won't we, guys?"

"That is correct," Blanca confirmed. "I suggest that we be on our way. Ken and I agreed to bring you after school."

Lincoln gulped nervously and nodded his consent before following his new caretakers outside.

Who knew what fate awaited him at his old house?
