Emma's relaxing on the porch swing enjoying the sunshine and nice breeze when her phone rings
Emma: Hello?
Armstrong: Hey Emma, I just wanted to let you know the board finally got back to me, they're calling for an emergency meeting tonight.
Emma: Ok
Armstrong: I'll be there too, so don't worry
Emma: Thanks Darryl.
Armstrong: I'll see you tonight, Em.
Darryl hangs up, Emma calls Sean
Sean: Hey baby
Emma: Hey, how's work going?
Sean: It's going good, we're pretty steady today. What are you doing?
Emma: I'm sitting on the porch swing enjoying the sun
Sean: What's Rose doing?
Emma: She's taking a nap
Sean: Is Tracker at the house?
Emma: He's been here and at his new house
Sean: Ah, ok
Emma: Darryl called me
Sean: Oh, did he? Did he finally hear from the board?
Emma: Emergency meeting tonight.
Sean: Good, I'm glad.
One of Sean's mechanic's yells for him in the background
Sean: Listen, Why don't you and I go out to dinner tonight after the board meeting. Have my brother drop you off at the school and I'll come get you after I get off. I'll call Tracker and see if he can pick you up for the meeting
Emma: Ok. I'll see if Manny and Chester will mind watching Rose tonight
Sean: Alright babe. I'll see you tonight
Emma: Alright, I love you
Sean: Love you too baby
Emma hangs up and calls Manny
Manny: Hello?
Emma: What are you doing?
Manny: I'm just sitting at home, what are you doing?
Emma: I'm just sitting outside. When did you get back from Ottawa?
Manny: We got back yesterday.
Emma: Is his mom going to move down here?
Manny: I hope so, I know Chester worries about her up there alone
Emma: Right. I'd worry too
Manny: We'll see, but we had a good time up there
Emma: That's good, cause I need a favor
Manny chuckles
Manny: Yes, we will be happy to watch Rose tonight
Emma: Thank you. The school board is finally calling an emergency meeting tonight about Nick
Manny: Em, be careful. This guy is crazy obsessed with you and who knows if and when he'll try to attack you again
Emma: I know, Sean's already worried he'll try something else
Manny: Well, yeah!
Emma: Sean's taking me to dinner after the meeting too
Manny: You guys need a night out
Emma: Are you sure you don't mind taking Rose?
Manny: It's no problem at all Em, really. Chester and I love having our Rosie girl here
Emma: Tracker and I will drop her off on the way to the school board office
Manny: Alright, Sounds good
Emma: And if she gives you any problems and you can't get ahold of me, you know to call Sean or my parents
Manny: Em relax, She will be fine
Emma: I'm just a little nervous is all
Manny: I can tell. I promise Rose will be fine.
Emma: I know.
Manny: Everything will be ok, Emma.
Emma: I'll see you tonight with Rose, I got to eat, get myself and get her ready
Manny: Alright, I'll see you guys in a bit
Emma hangs up, as she goes inside and makes a snack for her and feeds Rose when she hears a car door shut and Tracker walks in the house
Tracker: Em?
Emma: I'm in the kitchen with the baby
Tracker walks in the kitchen
Tracker: Hey
Emma: On our way to the school, I need to drop Rose off at Manny's
Tracker: Alright, no worries
Tracker notices Emma looking scattered
Tracker: Em, relax, everything is going be ok.
Emma: I just want to get this meeting done and over with
Tracker places his hands on Emma's shoulders and turns her toward him
Tracker: Emma, look at me
Emma looks at Tracker
Tracker: Everything will be ok
Emma: I just want this over Tracker, I can't keep stressing and worrying about if and when my husband is going to snap on this son of a bitch
Tracker: Emma, like I told you before, Sean would never do anything to jeopardize his family
Emma picks up Rose and puts her in the playpen as she gets ready
Emma: What makes you so sure of that, Tracker?!
Tracker: Because I know my brother, Emma
Emma: And, I know your brother too. Did you forget, I married him a year and a half ago
Tracker: Trust me, Sean's a better person cause of you. He may have a short fuse and overprotective about the people he cares most about, but you and I both know he's got a good heart and means well
Emma comes out a few minutes later, wearing jeans and Black polo shirt with her black flats
Tracker: Everything will be ok Em, I promise
Emma picks up Rose
Emma: Ok, sweet girl. Time to go to Auntie Manny's and Uncle Chester's
Emma grabs Rose's diaper bag as she and Tracker walk out the door, Tracker closes the door behind them as Emma puts Rose in her car seat in the back of Tracker's car. A few minutes later they arrive at Manny and Chester's. Emma takes Rose out of her car seat and walks in Manny and Chester's house
Manny: Hi Auntie's baby!
Emma hands Rose to Manny
Emma: There's extra diapers, extra snacks, bottles, anything she might need
Manny: Go on! We got this here
Emma gives Rose a kiss on the head
Emma: Mama loves you so much little girl
Emma looks at Manny
Manny: Everything will be ok, I promise. I'll see you tonight when you pick up Rose
Emma: I love you
Manny: I love you too
Emma leaves Manny's as she gets back in Tracker's car and heads to the school board. A short time later, they arrive at the school board office. Emma gets out of the car
Emma: Thanks Tracker
Tracker: No problem, Em
Tracker drives off, as Emma begins to walk in the building, Emma senses someone coming behind her, she looks behind her and doesn't see anyone. She continues to walk in the building. A couple hours later, the meeting is over, as Emma leaves the board room, she's grabbed from behind
Nick: Emma! It's so good to see you
Nick said as he takes a rag and covers her mouth, as he leads her to his car
Nick: We can finally be together now. Isn't this great?
Nick blindfolds her, and binds her hands together, then drives off in the car. A few minutes later, Sean arrives to pick up Emma, he doesn't see her, as he walks to the building, he's calling her cell phone but no answer, as he enters the building and runs into Darryl
Sean: Darryl, have you seen Emma? I can't get ahold of her, and she knew I was picking her up
Darryl: No Sean, I'm sorry, I haven't seen her since the meeting ended.
Sean begins asking board members if they've seen Emma and having no such luck. He tries calling her phone again
Sean (to himself): Come on Emma, pick up the phone, you're worrying me
Emma voicemail picks up, he hangs up and calls Manny
Manny: Hey Sean
Sean: Manny, have you talk to Emma?
Manny: Not since she dropped off Rose before the meeting, why?
Sean (panicking): She's missing, I can't find her, she's not answering her phone, she's not at the school board.
Manny: Sean, Sean, slow down. What happen
Sean: I came to pick her up from the meeting and she's gone, Manny. No one has seen her since the meeting got over, she's not answering her phone.
Manny: Maybe her phone is dead, Sean
Sean: Manny, no one has seen her!
Manny: Just relax, I'm sure she's around there somewhere
Sean: I- I need to call Spike, maybe she's heard from Emma
Manny: Take a breath, Sean. Everything will be ok
Sean: Manny, I swear, if this Nick had anything to do with this-
Manny: We'll cross that bridge if we get there. Call me after you talk to Spike
Sean hangs up and calls Spike
Spike: Hello?
Sean: Hey Spike, Have you heard from Emma?
Spike: No, I haven't, why?
Sean's phone beeps
Sean: Hang on Spike, I got a text coming in
Sean opens his texts and it's a message from Emma
Spike: Sean? What's going on?
Sean: Something's wrong, Spike
Spike: What do you mean, something's wrong?
Sean: I just got this cryptic text from Emma, saying she's leaving me. I'm forwarding it to you now.
Sean forwards the message to spike
Spike: Ok, hang on, let me check it
Spike opens her messages
Spike (reading): "I'm sorry I can't do this, I'm leaving, being a mom and wife is too hard"
Spike: Sean, that's not Emma. You need to go to the police now. Emma would never leave her family
Sean: I'm scared, Spike
Spike: I know you are, go to the police, Sean.
Sean: Something tells me that Nick, had something to do with this. I just know it.
Spike: What? The guy who subbed for her?
Sean: Yea, he's been harassing her again lately.
Spike: Where's Rose?
Sean: She's with Manny
Spike: Do you want me to go get her?
Sean: No, She's fine with Manny.
Sean begins to sniffle
Spike: Ok, call me after you talk to the police
Sean: I will.
Spike: Sean?
Sean: Yea?
Spike (voice breaks): I love you, son. We'll find Emma
Sean: I love you too
Sean hangs up and drives to the police station
Officer: Can I help you?
Sean: My wife is missing
Officer: Slow down, what do you mean, she's missing?
Sean: My wife is missing, I went to pick her up from a meeting at her school board office and she's not there, no one has seen her or heard from her since the meeting ended
Officer: Are you sure she didn't just leave you?
Sean: Are you kidding me right now?
Officer: Has there been issues in the marriage? Any abuse at all?
Sean begins getting angry
Sean: Are you really trying to insinuate that I'm the reason she left me and our 7 month old daughter?!
Officer: Well, you didn't say no
Sean begins to yell
Sean: Are you fucking kidding me?!
Officer: Sir, I need you to lower your voice
Sean: No, Screw you man, I came here for help because my wife is fucking missing
Chuck hears Sean yelling and comes out from his office
Chuck: Sean, what's going on out here?
Sean: Emma is missing and your desk cop here, is trying to say I caused her to leave, that I abused her.
Chuck looks at the desk cop and places his hand on Sean's back
Chuck: Go in my office, I'll be there in a minute
Sean goes to Chuck's office
Chuck: Officer, can I have a word with you, in the briefing room
The officer follows Chuck into the briefing room as Chuck closes the door behind him and places his hands on the table
Chuck: Now, do you want to explain to me why that man was being badgered and accused of being the reason why his wife disappeared? Instead of helping him?
Officer: I-
Chuck: You know what, it doesn't matter, hand over your badge and gun, your suspended without pay
Officer: Are you kidding me?!
Chuck: Now!
The officer hands his badge and gun over to Chuck
Chuck: I'll be reporting this to your sergeant too
The Officer gets up and leaves the station, Chuck calls Chester
Chester: What's going on big brother?
Chuck: Hey, where are you at?
Chester: I'm on my way home, why?
Chester hears Sean yelling in the background
Chester: Is that Sean?!
Chuck: Grab Sean's brother Tracker and get your asses down here before Sean ends up in cuffs
Chester: Chuck, What's going on?
Chuck: He came here cause Emma's missing and one of my officers was accusing Sean of being the reason Emma's missing
Chester: Oh shit, Alright. I'll grab Tracker and be there in a little bit
Chuck: I'm serious Chester.
Chuck hangs up as he goes back to his office, shuts the door behind him, locks the officer's gun and badge in his desk, then sits down at his desk
Chuck: Ok, Sean. What's going on?
Sean: Emma's missing
Meanwhile, Chester calls Tracker
Tracker: Hello?
Chester: Hey, where are you right now?
Tracker: I'm at Sean and Emma's getting some more of my stuff, why?
Chester: Stay there, I'm coming to get you, my brother just called me, Sean's at the police station. Emma's missing
Tracker: What?!
Chester: I'll see you in a few minutes
Chester hangs up and Calls Manny
Manny: Hey honey
Chester: Hey babe, did Sean call you?
Manny: Yea, he can't find Emma.
Chester: Emma's missing, Manny
Manny: What? Where's Sean?
Chester: Chuck called me, he's down at the station, I'm on my way to get Tracker and head down to the station
Manny: Ok, call me if you hear anything! I'm sure Spike knows; I'll call her anyway.
Chester: I'll call you; I promise babe. I love you
Manny: I love you too
Manny hangs up
Meanwhile, Nick takes Emma back to his place and as they enter the house
Nick: Oh, sweet Emma, don't you know? We belong together
Nick said as he carries an unconscious Emma downstairs to the basement,
Emma (groans): Wha- Where am I?
Nick: Welcome to your new home, my love
Nick said as they go downstairs as he gently places Emma onto a bed as she starts to wake up
Nick: I'll be right back; I'm going to make you some food
Nick runs up the stairs and locks the basement door behind him
Emma (yelling): Let me out of here!
Meanwhile back at the police station, Chester and Tracker arrive and go to Chuck's office, Sean stands up instantly pulls Tracker in and gives him a hug
Sean: I'm telling you, Nick had something to do with this
Sean pulls out his phone and shows Chuck the text message
Sean: Emma does not type like that. That message is not from her
Chester (to Chuck): Sean's right, Emma isn't one to just up and leave her family.
Tracker: Sean, we will find Emma. She'll be ok
Sean looks at Tracker with tears in his eyes
Chuck: Who was the last one of you 3 to see Emma?
Tracker: Me, when I dropped her off at the board office
Chuck: I see. Was she acting Strange then?
Sean looks at Chuck
Chuck: Relax Sean, these are just standard questions, I have to ask.
Tracker: She was on edge and nervous
Chuck: Describe on edge
Tracker: She was nervous about the board meeting, the board meeting was about that Nick guy who attacked her and has been harassing her. She was scared he'd get to keep his job and that he'd continue to harass her.
Chuck: Sean, When was the last time you talk to her?
Sean: Maybe 2 hours before the meeting, she was nervous then when I talk to her
Chuck: Ok, now this Nick dude, what's he about?
Sean: He was her substitute teacher when Em was out on Maternity leave and over the summer, he started harassing her
Chuck: Harassing her how?
Sean: Calling her, asking her on a date, when she said no she was happily married with a family, he basically told her to lie to me about it
Chuck: How many times did he call?
Sean: He's called about 3 or 4 times since the summer
Chuck: And has he done anything else?
Sean: Yea, he attacked her at school. That's why they were having a board meeting tonight
Chuck: Ok. What's his last name?
Sean: Brady
Chuck: Ok, Go home Sean. Get some rest, I promise I will call you if I hear anything.
Sean: I don't care what it takes, Find my wife!
Chuck: I will do everything I can, I promise
Chester: We'll find her Sean. Call me if you hear from Chuck
Sean: Thanks Chester.
Sean, Chester and Tracker leave Chuck's office, and leave the police station as Chester leaves and Tracker takes him and Sean back to Sean's place
Tracker: Hey, look at me, little brother
Tracker: I promise you, Sean. We will find her
Sean: What if the reason she disappeared is really because she wasn't happy with me and Rose
Chester: Are you kidding me right now?!
Chester: She loves her family, I see no reason why she'd just disappear because of you
Tracker pulls out his phone and dials Elena's number
Sean: Who are you calling?
Tracker: I'm canceling my date, cause my kid brother needs me
Sean: Track-
Tracker: Hey Elena
Elena: Tracker, hi. We're still meeting tonight, right?
Tracker: Actually, that's why I'm calling, I'm afraid I need to cancel our date.
Elena: Oh, is everything ok?
Tracker: I have some family issues going on, and right now my kid brother needs me.
Sean begins crying as he looks out the window in the car
Elena: Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope everything's ok
Tracker: I promise I will call you soon and reschedule
Elena: Yea, Sure. I completely understand.
Tracker: I promise, I'll call you soon.
Elena: I hope everything's ok.
Tracker: Thanks, I'll talk to you soon.
Tracker hangs up as they pull up at Sean's house, Sean get out of the car
Tracker: Get your ass in the house, I'm going to get Rose.
Sean: Track-
Tracker: Sean, it's ok.
Tracker leaves to go get Rose, as Sean walks inside and calls Spike
Spike: Sean?
Sean: Yea, it's me
Spike: Have you heard anything from my baby?
Sean: Not since that message, Spike.
Spike: What did the police say?
Sean: Chuck says he's going to do everything he can to find her
Spike: Is Rose with Manny, still?
Sean: Tracker's on his way now to go get her and bring her home.
Spike: Sean, if you need me or Snake to watch her, we will take her with no problem.
Sean: I'll let you guys know
Sean hears a car door shut
Sean: Let me let you go, Tracker just got back with Rose
Spike: Ok, Keep me posted, Sean.
Sean: You know I will, I promise
Sean hangs up
Meanwhile, back at Nick's
Nick: Emma, Honey, I made a wonderful dinner for you.
Emma: I'm not hungry
Nick: Now, Emma. I didn't go through all this trouble, for you to be stubborn and not want to eat
Emma: I want to go home
Nick: But you are home, dear
Nick sets the plate down, sits down next to Emma as she tries to move farther from him, he caresses her cheek
Emma: I have a baby that needs her mother. I don't belong here
Nick: You're with me now. I promise I'll take good care of you
Emma: My daughter is special needs, and I am the only one who knows how to give her what she needs
Nick: I'm sure your husband can figure it out.
Nick turns on some music
Nick: Shall we dance?
Emma: Leave me alone!
Emma grabs on to the bed rail, refusing to let go as Nick attempts to pull her off the bed to dance with him. As Emma tries to yell for help
Nick (Laughs): No one can hear you screaming Emma
Emma: I got to hand it to you Nick, you sure had me fooled with the nice guy routine, hell you even had my boss fooled, till he saw you assault me at school
Nick: It's not my fault, I felt in love with you Emma, I could tell you weren't happy with your husband
Emma: My relationship with my husband is none of your business.
Nick: Now, now. Don't be hateful
Emma: Leave me alone, I want to go home to my family
Nick: Honey, I'm your family now
Emma: I promise you, on my daughter's life, you will never be family to me.
Nick slaps Emma, knocking her back on the bed
Emma (yells): Stay away from me!
Nick: I love this feisty side of you, Emma. It's quite cute actually
