Chapter 52
Manny is just getting home from taking Emma and Sean home
Manny: Babe?
Chester: Yea, Manny. I'm in the bedroom
Manny takes off her jacket and sets her keys on the end table by the door and heads upstairs to her bedroom and sees Chester sitting in bed watching tv
Chester: Hey Sweetheart
Manny: Hi honey
Manny said as she falls into the bed
Chester: Emma, ok?
Manny: I know she's happy to be reunited with Sean
Chester: I can relate to his pain, I was scared outta my mind when the shooting happened at the label.
Manny climbs in bed next to Chester as she gently kisses him
Manny: Yea, but this is worse Chester, this guy was harassing her and assaulted her and took her from her family and her life. Thank god Chuck and Sean were able to find her and bring her home safely
Chester: I think I heard Chuck say something about how Emma looks so much like Nick's ex fiancée
Manny: Really?
Chester: Yea. Kind of creepy, isn't it?
Manny: Just a little
Meanwhile back at Sean and Emma's
Sean: Hey babe, let's go see your parents and get Rose
Sean said as he runs his fingers through her long blonde hair as she begins to stir in his arms
Emma (groans): What time is it?
Sean: About 7:30ish
Emma: I didn't even realize I fell asleep on you.
Sean: After everything you just went through, I was happy to see you getting a little rest
Emma: Thanks, babe, for always saving me and most importantly, taking such good care of me and Rosie.
Sean smiles
Sean: There's nothing I wouldn't do for my girls, you know that.
Emma: I know, I just want to know how much we appreciate it, babe.
Emma sits up on the couch as Sean lovingly wraps his arms around her while she lays her head on Sean's shoulder
Sean (softly): Hey baby, you ok?
Emma (voice breaks): I missed being in your arms, I missed my husband, I missed our family
Emma said as she looks up in Sean's eyes and she places her hand over his arm
Sean: Emma, I told you, there's nothing I wouldn't have done to find you.
Sean said as he sweeps her hair behind her ear
Sean: I love you, with all my heart. You and Rose are the two most important people in my life. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep you, both, safe.
Emma: I know. I love you, Sean
Sean: I love you too beautiful
Emma: I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you
Sean: Well, it's a good thing you won't ever have to worry about that babe
Sean smiles as he softly kisses Emma
Sean: What do you say, we go see your parents and go get our little girl?
Emma smiles
Emma: I think that sounds amazing
They leave and head over to Emma's parent's house, A few minutes later they arrive at her parents
Emma:Mom? Dad?
Emma said as she walks in her parent's house, Spike comes in the living room and sees Sean and Emma walking in
Spike (to Emma): Oh my god, my baby
Spike said as she runs up to Emma and gives her a motherly hug with tears in her eyes as she notices Emma's busted lip
Emma (voice breaks): I'm ok, I promise.
Spike: Oh, honey
Emma jolts away from Spike in fear as she think back to when Nick called her honey
Emma: Mom, I know you mean well, but don't call me honey. At least not for a while. He used to call me that
Snake comes downstairs with Rose in his arms
Snake: Someone just woke up from a nap
Emma (to Rose): Hi my baby.
Snake hands Rose to Emma
Emma: Mama missed you, sweetheart
Sean stands by Spike as Emma holds Rose and spends time with her
Spike: Thank you, for bringing my baby home.
Sean: I told you, I would. There's nothing I wouldn't have done to find her and bring her home.
Spike: I know.
Spike's voice begins to break as her eyes begin to fill with tears
Spike: I'm just happy she's home safe
Spike said to Sean as Snake places his hands on Sean's shoulders as Emma's playing with Rose
Rose: Mama
Emma looks at Sean, smiling through the tears forming in her eyes
Emma (To Rose): Oh, my sweet girl. If only you knew how happy that makes Mommy
Rose smiles as Sean walks over to Emma and Rose, wrapping his arm around Emma and giving Rose a kiss on her head
Snake (to Spike): She's safe now, Christine.
Spike: I know Archie, I'm just grateful she's ok and thankful she wasn't hurt worse.
Snake: All that matters is that she's safe.
Spike: Thank god
Snake: I know Sean, he's been in love with Emma for so long, there's no way he would've stopped looking for her until he found her and she was safe
Spike: She's such a good mother to Rose
Snake and Spike Smile
Snake: She learned from the best
Sean (to Emma): Pretty soon she'll be walking
Emma: It feels like I missed so much of her little life
Sean: I promise, you didn't
Emma smiles as she looks at her parents
Emma (to Spike): I'm ok, Mom. I learned from the best at being tough
Spike smiles as Emma gives her a hug
Emma: I have the best support system a girl could ask for
Snake: We'll always be here for you, Emma. No matter what
Emma: I know, dad.
Meanwhile back at Manny's
Manny: Are you working today, babe?
Chester: No, the band's not coming back in the studio till next week. So-
Chester said as he pulls Manny into his arms
Chester: So, I'm all yours today, beautiful
Manny: Oh, really now?
Chester: I am yours to do whatever your heart desires with
Chester said as he chuckles as Manny kisses him
Manny (smiles): I love you, babe
Chester: I love you too, sweetheart
Manny: Why don't you and I have a nice relaxing day cuddled in the couch, watching movies together, and ending the night with a nice night by the fire
Chester: I love that
Manny looks at the clock on her phone
Manny: But first, we have an appointment to get little bean checked out
Manny said with a smile as she places her hand on her stomach. Chester smiles at Manny, kisses her and places his hand over hers
Chester: You're going to be a great mom, honey
Manny: I Still can't believe we're really pregnant.
Chester: Well I was determined on our honeymoon
Chester said with a laugh
Manny (laughs): I know you were
Chester: Come on, let's go
Manny and Chester leave and head to the doctors
Doctor: How we feeling, Manny?
Manny: Not too bad actually
Doctor: Good, Good.
Chester places his hand in Manny's and smiles
Manny: My mother in law thinks I might be having twins?
Doctor: Well, let's take a look and see
The doctor said as she places the ultrasound wand over Manny's stomach as Chester and Manny look at the screen.
Doctor: Well, everything looks good so far, hang on, here
The doctor looks into the screen as Manny notices her staring
Manny (concerned): What is it? Is Something wrong with the baby?
Doctor: Nothing to be concerned about. I seem to be getting 3 heartbeats, including yours
The doctor says with a smile They hear a heartbeat
Doctor: Here's one heartbeat
Chester smiles at Manny as they hear a second heartbeat
Doctor: Here's another heartbeat. Both heartbeats are nice and strong. Congratulations, you're carrying twins
Manny looks at Chester with a beaming smile
Doctor: I'll run a couple tests to make sure the babies are healthy, just to be safe.
The doctor smiles as she walks out of the room
Chester: Mom was right
Chester said with a laugh
Manny (smiles): Double the blessing, babe
Chester: They'll be just as beautiful as their mama
Manny smiles
Chester: I've dreamt of this moment, with you, since the day I saw you at Smithdale Manny. I promise you; I'm not going anywhere. I'll be by your side the whole pregnancy
Manny smiles as she places her hand in Chester's and looks in his eyes
Manny: I know you will, I trust you, Chester.
Manny looks down at her stomach
Manny: I just hope their healthy, and there's no birth defects
Chester: Even if they do, we will still love them just the way they are
Chester softly kisses Manny
Chester: No matter what, I will always be here, babe. Whether our twins are perfectly healthy or not
Manny: I know sweetheart.
A few minutes later the doctor comes in
Doctor: I have good news, both babies are perfectly healthy!
Manny: That's great
Chester: Thank god
Doctor: Come back in 6 weeks and we'll find out the genders
The Doctor smiles as she hands Manny the ultrasound photos then leaves
Chester: I'm so relieved the twins are healthy
Manny: Me and you both.
Chester: Soon we can share the news with all our friends and family
Manny: I can't wait to see Emma's reaction
Chester: I love you, beautiful. Let's get out of here
Manny and Chester leave and arrive home a short time later, as they walk in the house, Manny wraps herself in Chester's arms
Manny (softly) I love you, so much
Chester: I love you too, beautiful. Are you ok?
Manny looks up at Chester and smiles
Manny: Yea, Never better. We're happily married, healthy and most importantly we're pregnant
Chester gives Manny a loving hug
Chester: And no one is going to be able to tear us apart, either.
Chester said as he gently lifts Manny's chin, stares into her eyes, and softly sweeps her hair back
Manny (softly smiles): I'm so grateful.
Chester: Me too, baby. Me too
Manny softly kisses Chester then curls back up in his arms
Manny: These babies are the greatest blessing we could have
Manny said with a yawn
Chester: Tired, sweetheart?
Manny: Just a little bit
Chester cups the side of Manny's face in the palm of his hand
Chester: You look tired, Manny. Why don't you lay down for a little bit and I'll come wake you up when I make dinner
Chester said as he kissed the top of Manny's head
Manny: You sure?
Chester (softly): I love you, and as your husband it is my job to take care of you.
Manny softly smiles as she heads upstairs and heads in the bedroom and lays down in her bed and takes a nap
