AN: Once more I'd like to start by saying that I don't own either Black Clover or high-school DXD, I realized I forgot to mention that last chapter.
SirZechs couldn't help but to stare in shock as he looked at the massive red area that he currently found himself floating in, only to turn at the deep and ominous voice echoing from behind him. He couldn't help the shiver of terror that ran down his spine as he slowly turned to look at the towering being the voice came from. It was a massive being, his form made up of what appeared to be smoke, except for the glowing red eyes, and the glow from his mouth, revealing dagger-like teeth with his smile.
"What are you doing here demon?" The devil asked as he looked down at him, shifting if only slightly to lean closer to the smaller male. SirZechs couldn't help but glare at the massive being, firstly because even though he had recently learned the truth about the differences between the two, the current Lucifer still viewed them as true devils. Second though he had learned the fact that number of horns denoted power among devils, and this being only had two, meaning he would be considered a weaker demon. Yet even with that fact SirZechs couldn't help the instinct to bow to the massive being before him.
"Why are you here Devil?" He hollered, doing his best not to succumb to the instincts that were screaming at him currently. He had many things that he wanted to ask this being, questions that he needed answers to.
"Why should I answer you Demon?" The towering being responded with a laugh as he looked down at the much smaller being, rather curious about what the red-haired male would say. He hated to admit it, but he had taken to watching the world through his host's eyes. He could easily figure out the connection between the male behind him and the redhead that seemed to cling to his host so often.
"You chose to save my sister; I want to understand why?" He asked again, trying to get an answer from the towering being before him, the Devil simply laughed at his question seemingly leaning backwards before he stopped and looked back at him, his teeth set together in a sinister smile once more, as he leaned towards the ruler of the underworld.
"What makes you think I chose to save your sister Demon?" He asked causing SirZechs to freeze as he looked up at him, his eyes widening as he looked to the being before him. His mind spinning with that answer, what did the devil mean by that? He had to be the one to save his younger sister, didn't he? After all, Asta used the devil's power to defeat Riser, and he couldn't have used that power without the devil taking over, right?
"You didn't give Asta that power did you? he took it." He whispered in shock causing the devil to pause as he looked down at him before seemingly shaking his head and laughing at the clear foolishness of that sentence. But SirZechs couldn't help but to stare at him, firmly believing that he had gotten it right with that sentence.
"The boy uses the small amount I allow him to; I don't care what he does with it." He stated clearly somewhat insulted by the insinuation that Asta was using his power by force, not that it was entirely untruthful. But the way the massive being felt about it, he was simply preparing the body to become his new host. Although this little demon deciding to make that statement had managed to anger the devil. "You should remember your place in the future little demon, I could destroy you at any moment. The fact you still live is by the grace of my patience and that's all." He growled causing the current Lucifer to stumble back in some shock and fear. But SirZechs shook his head before slowly stepping forwards again and looking back up at the being.
"Who are you?" He called out causing the devil to chuckle before simply shaking his head and waving his hand, causing SirZechs to grunt as he felt as if he was being yanked backwards by an invisible force. He attempted to fight against the force, he still had questions that only the being before him could answer, but as he looked up at it, he realized he wasn't going to be able to fight against it.
"To you demon, I'm no one." Were the last words he spoke before SirZechs was forced out of the devil's realm. He growled as he attempted to grasp the glowing crimson book once more, only to hiss as he felt it burn him the instant he touched it before pulling his hand back glaring at the book as he realized that the devil wasn't going to speak to him again. With one last growl he turned and left the room, knowing that he needed to check with his father soon to see what was going on in the Clover Kingdom.
"Fine Devil, play your game, but should you try and turn your power against my kingdom, I will find a way to stop you. Even if that means I make Rias cry." He growled angrily as he walked down the hallway, resolved to do whatever it took to protect his kingdom. He paused though as he was passing Koneko's room, his eyes landing on the small fairy like female that was sleeping beside the boy's face. He couldn't help but to stare in shock as he could feel the magic power from here, that being was a nature spirit, one gifted with the power to control one element of the natural order. "Who the hell are these two?" He whispered in shock and once more worried about who his sister had brought into his kingdom and into her and her peerages' lives.
The rest of the night passed smoothly for the crimson haired ruler, he had returned to his room and his wife, but as the sun rose he didn't get to wake up to his usual alarm or his loving wife's kisses. Instead, he was awoken by a scream, the yell echoing through the manner causing the ruler to quickly rise from his bed, somewhat fearful that either the Devil or the Spirit had decided to attack someone. But as he finally rounded the corner and came to the open doorway, he couldn't help but to stare in some shock at the scene before him. As it was clear that the scream had come from the shocked boy laying on the ground staring up at the bed where his younger sister and her queen sat with the both clearly naked and staring down at the shocked male while Asta quickly jumped onto his feet and began bowing repeatedly while apologizing causing SirZechs to look at the scene his eyes widening.
"I see." He whispered as he began walking away, he was beginning to realize that he was most likely correct with his initial assessment about the fact that Asta had probably forcefully taken some of his power. His concern was beginning to wane as he now believed that Asta would protect his baby sister. That thought caused him to smile gently, before it slowly morphed into a more dangerous one as he thought about the fact that his precious baby sister had been sleeping naked in a bed with the male with which she was clearly enthralled.
"Grayfia" He began without turning to look as he knew that his beloved wife and Queen would quickly arrive to answer his call, smiling slightly as soon as he felt her appear behind him. "I need you to bring Asta to my private chambers, I need to have a little chat with him." He stated his aura seeming to flare as he spoke, causing Grayfia to sigh softly before bowing, even as she shook her head in slight exasperation at her husband's clear overprotectiveness of his little sister.
"Of course, my Lord." She stated before she left to collect the young man. Grayfia was unsure what to expect when she made her way into Rias room, only to simply raise a delicate eyebrow at the sight of the still bowing and apologizing boy, as well as the still nude female.
"Lord Lucifer has requested you in his chambers." Grayfia said while looking at Asta, causing the boy to lift an eyebrow before turning to follow her his arms at his sides, clearly somewhat panicked about meeting with someone who was clearly a noble. But as she noticed Rias and Akeno stand to start getting dressed she didn't hesitate to give the two women a look. "He wishes to see Asta alone." She claimed, making sure that it was clear they wouldn't be joining them before she once more began leading Asta to SirZechs room, the walk was quite as Asta was clearly worried about what he may be walking into, so by the time they arrived Grayfia hadn't heard the boy speak a word as she opened the door to allow him to enter the room, watching as the clearly nervous boy walked in.
"Hello Asta." SirZechs said with a smile as he looked to the boy. Grayfia simply sighed as she slowly closed the door to allow the two males to speak, while she turned to begin heading towards her son's room, he needed to be woken up. But as she arrived at his door she couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow as she could hear noises from inside the room, slowly opening the door to see her precious son waving a toy sword around while standing on his bed. It was clear he had been reenacting the fight between Asta and Riser, and clearly he was imitating the sword wielder who was currently speaking to her husband.
"Last I checked beds were to be slept on." She stated causing the little boy to pause before turning to look at his mother, his eyes slightly wide in obvious guilt while he looked at her. She simply remained standing her arms crossed as she looked to her son, one finger slightly tapping against her bicep.
"Sorry mother." He whispered while looking down, letting his toy sword fall to his bed as he slowly got off the bed. Looking every bit the sad child, causing Grayfia to smile slightly, before she coughed and looked at him.
"Just remember the rules. And get dressed for breakfast, we'd hate for our guests to have to wait for you." She stated before smiling softly as she watched her son's eyes light up before he began running around to get dressed, clearly excited to hopefully see the young man whose sword skills he was clearly idolizing.
Well with that Chapter 11 is finished. I hope everyone enjoyed it, I tried to give some focus on characters that I don't think got much time to shine early in the anime or manga. So, I hope I did them some justice, it has been a little bit of time since I really watched HS DxD. So, I'm trying to write them off memory mostly. So, I do apologize if they are to OOC.
