The King and Queen of the Monsters.
A fitting title for the newlywed couple.
And their marriage is wonderfully beautiful.
Godzilla, having proved himself worthy as the new King of the Monsters, finally confessed to Mothra. In return, she loved him back from childhood to adulthood. Their love blossomed entirely for their heart, mind, and soul. And the Divine Moth became the new Queen of the Monsters. It was the happiest day of their lives. The humans who have worshipped them rejoiced, for the union is secured and tranquil to ensure the peace of Earth.
Months passed by. After they both checked on the Titans and humanity, they would finally let themselves spend time with each other, in a secluded island away from civilization and without any Titans disturbing them. They were both tired yet happy at the same time.
Godzilla and Mothra were both cuddling each other while staring at the night sky. The moon illuminated the puffy white clouds, and the majestic tapestry of endless stars twinkled in the distance.
However, there is one thing that the King and Queen wanted in their lives...
Having a child of their own.
Due to their different sizes and species, it is impossible for them to produce an offspring. Godzilla wishes to have an heir to pass down his legacy, and in turn, watch his child grow up under his guidance and love, free from danger. Their child would be a better definition of his imaginative wish: strong, stubborn, and powerful like him; graceful, beautiful, gentle, and naive like Mothra, if not for the feistiness added. He wasn't sure of what their offspring would look like. Maybe a whole Godzilla or a Mothra? Sometimes half? There's so many possibilities for this to happen.
He sighed, catching Mothra's attention.
"Goji?"
"Hm?"
"You're thinking something," Mothra says.
"Well...it's nothing, my Queen." The King denied.
Now Mothra isn't always a liar to anybody else. She hates lying, and would often spoke their secrets aloud via telepathy. Even Godzilla is careful to never lied of her.
"I am your wife, we always shared secrets." She reminded him sincerely.
The King of the Monsters sighed deeply. He did not know if this was embarrassing or whatnot. Scratch that, he had to answer her.
Whether she likes it or not.
That's all it matters.
"Well, I was wondering about...having uh...you know..." Godzilla gestures to himself by rocking his arms, which Mothra is surprised about that gesture.
An offspring of their own.
Now there are so many thoughts about having a child and raising it as their own. Godzilla has seen her taking care of human children or even younger Titans that are lost before being delivered back to their homes, or just adopted by Methuselah since he is like a father/grandfather figure to both Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan. He loved seeing her radiant smile when playing with the younger ones, even though they were not related. Their kind shared symbiosis; not even a marriage one, except for them. This is the first time they were becoming a perfect couple.
Mothra's face flushed pink. Yes, thinking about having a cute offspring made her stomach flip. She meant for it. A hybrid Divine Moth-radioactive lizard? Now, this is a huge discovery. Sure, she loved having kids, and because the fact that they were married and inseparable, she was hoping to have a child. A tinge of fear and nervousness plunged her thoughts about if Godzilla wasn't careful...
Her desire ignited.
A child shall inherit the throne of theirs and would one day continue to pass down through generations.
She will try.
"Goji," she spoke, leaning down on his arm. "...maybe we should try."
And Godzilla's eyes widened, staring down at his wife. There was a hint of love, or maybe some kind of seduction? Not to mention the sweet arousal of her body.
His request answered as the Divine Moth elicit a seductive purr, her wings glowed cyan blue, her blue insectoid eyes hypnotizing his body, judging by the fact about rubbing her small head under his chin. And the addictivenes of her sweet scent...
An instinct took over his mind. He knew she was going to take up the whole floor.
Godzilla stood up and pinned Mothra down, causing a small tremor with his weight. The Queen was startled when he lowered his head to her small frame, merely inches away. All Mothra saw was a pair of blazing orange eyes become slits, his seductive smirk displaying his territorial instinct, and his deep growl...
Their scent mixed into one, and their breathing was shallow.
There's no turning back.
"I would love to, my Queen..."
...and the two eloped.
Present Day
It went on for minutes to hours as the King and Queen of the Monsters sought the human girl with moth wings, who was exactly similar to their precious little princess. Not a single conversation was spoken out loud, but their minds were full of questions and amazement. The sky above them lit up with dazzling auroras derived from the human girl's powers as if they were a stream of rivers flowing gracefully on earth.
Godzilla didn't believe that this human had anything to do with her powers. Not because he initially saw it in front of his wife and the humans on the base, but because the human girl possessed the moth wings of his deceased daughter. Even still, his heart filled with joy and satisfaction; half of his consciousness told him about a dire situation regarding whether this human girl should be part of their royalty or not. It doesn't matter, he and the Queen will forever be grateful for her.
Meanwhile, behind his back, Mothra also has the same thoughts about it as she carefully bends her head to the human girl she wrapped around her limbs close to her fluffy chest. Her breathing is stable, the aura around her was pure. She wondered if their deceased daughter had chosen this human to guide humanity and Titans in peace. Whatever it is, she will do anything she can to ensure the human girl will be safe.
It was a very long journey before the two finally made their way back to their home island. Mothra was the first to land on the sandy shores before Godzilla. They could see hints of orange and purple on the horizon, indicating that dawn was nearer.
"Is she sleeping?" Godzilla asked.
Mothra nodded, showing carefully the human girl who conceals her soft features in her chest.
"Try not to wake her up, my love," Mothra told him just as Godzilla slowly bent his large frame close to the Divine Moth and the human girl. What's even more interesting is that she has faint white tattoos on her body and a star mark on her forehead, which is also the same as their daughter Mothra Astra does.
"I'm going to build a nest for her." Mothra gently handed the human girl to Godzilla's open hand, being careful not to wake her up. "Keep an eye of her, Goji."
As the Queen made her way to the tropical forest to build a nest, the giant radioactive lizard could only stare at the winged human girl, his eyes filled with happiness and hope. However, there was a slight suspicion about her powers. Did the humans experiment on her with his and Mothra's deceased daughter's DNA? Was she created as a weapon against the Titans like that clone abomination? He knew much about human history and how they affected their domain across the worlds. Technology had become an inevitable weapon to destroy them, but there were cases where they used it as a backup for him or Mothra. He wasn't an animal but a being with great intelligence and a conscious awareness of the situation regarding the Natural Balance.
The only thing that matters to him was this human girl with moth wings in their safe hands. Thinking about his beloved Little Princess made his heart ache all because she died from King Ghidorah's attacks. His vengeance was once done after he incinerated the False King's head and finally reclaimed his title. From then on, he will secure her, while finding a way to reconnect the past of what his late daughter's words meant to be.
With his thoughts running through his mind, Mothra finally returned.
"Husband?"
Godzilla snapped out of his trance. He then looked back at the Queen.
"You have tears in your eyes." She said.
"What?" He blinked, and felt something that blurred his vision. Yes, they were actually his tears.
"You're crying."
"N-No, I'm not," he turned away in shame.
"Yes, you are."
"Nuh-uh!"
Mothra hovered above his head, then plopped down. To this, Godzilla tensed. Once he made eye contact with the Divine Moth, he snorted in defeat. The Queen gently peppered him with a kiss as he calmed down.
"You're not going to let that happen to our daughter, are you?" She gestured to the human girl he was holding.
The King slowly nodded. "Even if she is something that our daughter really left behind as her last wish, then it's an agreement."
"What kind of agreement?"
"Keeping her here as our child until we need to figure it out about our daughter's connection with her."
Mothra blinked. But her eyes foretold of taking care of a human girl like this one they had sought earlier. Yet, they already knew this kind of decision, whether the human girl would like it or not. Whatever it is, Godzilla always makes his 'best' decisions.
"Are you certain?" She inquired.
"Yes, I am, Mothra. I doubt those humans will take her away because I am very suspicious about their motives. I once heard that to my old friend many years ago back to the base they keep monitoring me. Humans using their genes to mix the Titans' genes is an abomination against our Natural Balance." Godzilla explained, his anger rising upon hearing those words.
It was something about the False King's voice that made him go on his rampage. At first, he thought it was Kong, but MechaGodzilla had him under control to kill him and the King of Skull Island. Oh right, and if he sees those humans are going to build a weapon made out of the Titans' parts against him, they're going to regret it for sure.
"How was she?" Mothra asks.
"She's fine after you left," Godzilla answered, gently leaning his open palm back to Mothra, who gently carried her underneath its fur.
"I need to go now, in case those humans come here to take her away," the King says. "By the way, can I bring you a breakfast?"
"No thank you, Goji. I'm not hungry." She replied politely.
Godzilla shrugged himself and casually walked towards the sandy shores. He was about to swim away when he turned back to his Queen and said.
"And also, tell me if she's awake."
"Don't get too far, Goji." The Divine Moth warned him.
And he swam away to the sea, leaving Mothra behind.
The Queen shook her head and walked away with the human girl in her possession to their homemade cave, where she prepared a nest for the human girl.
"You're going to have a long day, my child."
Darkness.
Numb.
Pain.
Soft.
And warm?
Those are the few words left in the Asian girl's mind. She slowly opened her eyes, and saw stalactites hanging from the ceiling, with a cluster of flowering vines. She turned her head around and saw that she was lying on a pile of soft leaves... wait, was that silk?
Ma. Celestina carefully sat straight, rubbing her forehead, that's when she noticed strange patterns on her hand and arm. And then she felt something brush against the clothing she wore. She glanced behind, and was equally shocked.
A pair of blue and pink moth wings with eye patterns sprouting behind her own body. Eventually, the wings themselves react to her emotions too: they stood up as stiff as a nonliving statue. The Asian girl stood up straightly, surprised yet admired the beauty of the wings, turning around like a fashion show, they flap slowly when she reaches her hand out of it. They were soft yet finest and smooth like a silk dress she had worn during her prom night with her best friends back on her homeworld. And those eye patterns are extremely ethereal, they match her eyes.
Ma. Celestina scanned the area. She was in a huge cave, almost the height of a building. Flowering vines snaked themselves from the cave walls, much like a decoration. There were certain claw marks around each wall, and some kind of light brown fur in the corners. Small holes with little less light lit the cavern. In the center of the cave was a huge nest with dried leaves and branches, placed with a few whalebones scattered across the cavern.
The Asian girl also seems impressed by the nest she now stood. Fresh tropical leaves weaved with silk-like textures. She spotted her sling bag not far from her reach and immediately ran over, sighing in relief for not losing her important stuff she brought from the trip.
This time, her thoughts are filled with questions.
What in the world has happened to her?
"You're awake, I see, dear child."
Ma. Celestina was startled by a soft yet motherly voice, before her attention was caught on the cavern's entrance hole.
There standing on the open cave was Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters.
Though she vaguely remembers yesterday on Castle Bravo about their first meeting and contact with Godzilla, she is amazed by their presence. That is when she went into a white void, and here she is now, standing from the Divine Moth's presence.
The Queen walked towards the human girl. Memories of her precious Little Princess played on her mind. Those blue eyes on the human girl are exactly the same as hers, yet the wings she now possessed are indeed a match for Mothra Astra's colors and style. Indeed, she is beautiful, so was described the human girl. The aura around the human girl was pure like diamonds.
"I do not meant to startle you, young child," the Queen softly said to her. "You passed out after...your unique transformation. It brought us the discovery of your powers that is unknown for the humans now these days, except me and my husband..."
Okay, now this is way too ambiguous if she said it out loud. Ma. Celestina was silent at first. Why would the King and Queen seek her out of the humans' reach? Was it the main reason she has moth wings now? Or the dreams she envisioned about looking for their child?
With her inner magical powers, she can understand them.
Still, there were no humans around.
Well, she is free to do her will to the Divine Moth.
.
.
.
"...I was born with it, Mothra."
The Queen's face morphed into a surprised expression. Wait, this human girl they sought yesterday, can understand her?!
Speaking of the language of Titans, her people once communicating with the other Titans because of telepathy and deep spiritual connection. The Shobijin are the only ones who have completed their training as priestesses, but only has a rule: to never bear children, and remain unmarried for the rest of their lives, but only if a new set of twins shall be their replacements of their role and they would allow to gain free will. It is something that they should try to remain constant. After all, they regain an almost immortal-like powers because of Mothra's connection. Gaining telepathy was a major widespread of each individuals so as to forged a bond to a Titan, like Godzilla's people. As centuries had passed, the power of bond and telepathy dwindled into nothingness as humans now indulged into technological weaponry and manipulation against them; for the others, they all viewed them as "monsters" because of what they did to the city, causing a global chaos. A few sees them as saviours and guardians, but difficult to understand the true meaning of coexistence especially if confronting the government. Manipulation disrupted the peace in them, a main reason why Godzilla hated it.
Speaking of the human girl, the Divine Moth was speechless after hearing those words. The human girl spoke truthfully and understood the language of the Titans.
"Can you...understand me?"
Ma. Celestina nodded wisely.
"I-I don't know what to say..." The Queen felt her heart leap in joy. She believed there was only a one percent chance that after the humans with telepathy disappeared, she might be the only one left behind. Maybe her ancestors passed down this ability to generations until now?
"I discovered this power when I was in young age. I keep this in secret, I feared about people knowing what I'm doing there in public," she told her. "It was only until I unlocked several powers, magic rather. And I have many supporters who knew much about my existence, so they helped me. The rest is history."
To Mothra, this human girl is unique, yet she is full of wonder in the eyes of every Titan who passes her by. It seems she and Godzilla were right about forming a bond with a Titan, but it hasn't succeeded yet.
"Your wings, dear child," she began, "How did you come to possess them?"
Ma. Celestina glanced back at her folded wings. She never knew much about every detail of how she acquired them. Back in her days of aerial training, she had used several pairs of wings she summoned on her own will - angelic or butterfly mode, and even a celestial one - gaining the ability to fly and powers to conjure. With these new moth wings, she realized that they were indeed matching the sketch Madison had dreamed about. A possibility about the heir of King and Queen being alive somewhere, hidden away from the newfound changes of Earth, was intriguing. The moth wings just appeared out of nowhere, in front of the Titan Rulers before she succumbed to a hypnotism of bright light.
Then the Asian girl spoke. "I... don't know."
The Divine Moth nodded slowly. It seems that the human girl is oblivious about how she has those wings, but still it lies about her deceased daughter's part which came from the point of the same matches.
"I haven't had the slightest idea about this."
She unfolds her wings, and Mothra did the same. The Queen emits a soft croon accompanied by cyan bioluminescence tracing the textures of her coloration. At the same time, Ma. Celestina's own wings glow a soft tone of cherry pink to baby blue, the patterns spiral like galaxies before fading away. The Queen smiles gently.
"You seemed admired about your newfound power, I am aware of a human having a unique bond with a Titan centuries ago before you." She explained.
"That was quite interesting, and I have read many of them, Mothra," Ma. Celestina answered respectfully, already aware of her title.
"Oh, is it?"
"Yes, human bonding with a Titan is a key to coexistence. It's like a bridge of a different kind but equal to one." The Asian girl smiled.
"Quite interesting for you to learn, dear child," the Queen hummed. Of all things she had to agree with, the human girl is smart and very curious about the coexistence, yet she holds something special.
Mothra examines the girl again. Asian descent she can tell, was petite, a healthy fair-skinned tone, her blue eyes that match Mothra Astra's ethereal blue ones, her silky midnight black hair draped behind her frame, and a warm smile. By the looks of it, the aura was very pure, a rare psychological mystery for the Queen. She could hear the voices of the human girl's aura humming softly like stars in the heavens.
"Is something the matter, Mothra?"
Hearing her question, the Queen shook her head slowly. "Oh, it's nothing, my child. Just something I remembered from the past decades."
"Huh..." Ma. Celestina thought.
"Apologies, my dear child. I haven't gotten to know your name yet." Mothra told her.
The Asian girl brought her hand to her mouth. Wow, she hasn't introduced her name yet to the Queen of the Monsters. That is rude. Anyway, maybe she can shorten her name or be given a new one?
"Oh, right. Anyway, my name is Ma. Celestina Villares, but most people call me 'Celestia', 'Celeste', 'Maria', or 'Princess'."
Upon hearing the word "Princess", the Divine Moth perked up. Wait, did she get a title earlier?!
Ma. Celestina continued, "As for the reason why I am calling myself a 'Princess', here's what happened from my perspective..."
The human girl continues to tell her story of her life and how she discovered her magical powers at an early age. Mothra listens to her details: being chosen as the next Cosmic Wielder and Future Ruler of the Universe, travelling beyond different realms she visited, befriending friends, allies, and even reformed enemies, and discovering newfound powers and abilities; plus, she even created a magnificent galaxy and its planetary system far from the reaches of the realms where she will allow the realm to open by her will in order to never such lay a hand on every being for wanting to steal the realm's source, which has been protected by a mystical shield.
Her story ended on a day when she met Madison, toured the Castle Bravo, and then she met her and Godzilla before being taken away from the humans' reach unconscious.
At that point, she inquired.
"Why did you and Godzilla seek me out?"
The question was left in spite of the reality where she had moth wings. If Mothra Astra's cycle of rebirth is correct, then maybe Ma. Celestina has a deep connection to her.
"Because," Mothra spoke to her, "we wanted to know answers about... our daughter."
Godzilla did speak out loud about the wing patterns from Ma. Celestina that it frequently matches their deceased daughter during their long travel. 100% chance if Mothra Astra's soul lies beneath the body of a human girl.
"You mean... yours and Godzilla's?"
The Queen nodded.
"That's because the wings you have now belong to our late daughter."
The two startled, spun around at the cave's entrance and saw Godzilla, standing and listening contentedly to their conversation. In his hand was a handful of whale meat he caught earlier, which he would supposedly give to Mothra.
Not long after his quick patrol on the sea and catching a meal for him and Mothra, he went back to check on her and the human girl when he heard two voices afar: one from his wife and the other was a soft feminine voice. He spotted the human girl, waking up, and he was shocked to see that she could communicate with Mothra, seemingly understanding the language of Titans. So he decided to interrupt their chat, now feeling a slight protectiveness of the human girl.
"Husband, you startled her." Mothra chittered sharply.
"That's my main entrance." Godzilla smirked slightly, earning a groan from the Queen. He put down the meat in the corner of the entrance.
"Next time, use your manners." She said.
"Whatever."
"Gojira..."
"Relax, I'm just kidding..." He chuckled, but that was met by his face splattered by Mothra's batch of silk. He retracted, before finally removing them with his dull expression. However, it soon disappeared after hearing his wife and the human girl's giggles that sounded exactly the same as his daughter's voice.
"I see you are having a quiet chat with the human girl, Mosu," he said coolly, entering the cave and accompanied by heavy tremors of his massive reptilian feet in each step.
"She understands us, Goji," the Queen adjusted her position as Godzilla bent his massive frame down to the human girl's eye level.
Small and fragile, as he described by the humans. Her frame is exquisite, even the color of her eyes contrasts with her fair tone underneath its modern styled clothing she wears, and the hair style is more likely neat. Those moth wings are pretty for the human girl she possessed it in the first place.
"Husband, this is Ma. Celestina, the human girl we have taken her away from the human's outpost I think. She stood up for us. And she is quite special..."
"Special?" He asked.
"Mh-hmm."
"How?"
"Let me show you, Godzilla."
Catching Ma. Celestina's attention, she waved her hands in an ancient gesture, conjuring a ball-sized white halo that resembled a Local Bubble Shield and a Solar System inside, revolving around itself. To add a surprise for the King, she twirled her right hand before massaging it on her hair, changing from black to white with rainbow hues, alongside numerous elements surrounding her frame. She made a last gesture as the powers around her disappeared into thin air. Her hair turned black again. The moth wings she possessed also sparkled a little like millions of stars.
"You," he began, "How did you just-"
"Born with it apparently." The Asian girl spoke to him. "And I have tons of magic powers that I recently learned to control quite well. I only acquired them during a serious situation."
The King and Queen of the Monsters looked into each other's eyes. Then they turned back to Ma. Celestina.
"Tell me, human child," Godzilla asked, "Did these humans experiment with you as a weapon for us Titans?"
"HUSBAND!" Mothra snapped at him, "We do not speak things to Ma. Celestina! You're making her self-doubt!"
"What? I'm sure every single speck of humanity would probably disturb our Balance and salvage long-dead Titans to create a weapon for us!" The King hissed.
"The term 'experimentation' is out of the question, Godzilla," the Asian girl spoke, noting her tone had become tense and anger was slowly rising.
"Experiment is a science that, whether their paths are good or bad, depends on how much effort they would cause for the sake of saving the world or causing a chaotic mess. I once rescued a civilian from being abused by a self-hypocrite scientist who used her DNA to fuse an abnormally random dark matter that would destroy half of their consciousness and all I saw was that I murdered him and left no trace behind. I was recovered from my long-term guilt by my friends. And no, I was born with a power to control and wield in a good path to ensure the safety of the world."
An absolute silence fell upon them. The word 'murder' sprang to their mind. Ma. Celestina had gotten used to powers; and Godzilla doubted that maybe he and Mothra could help her too, if she's in another rant. That is inevitable, to say that she had gotten
"I...I am deeply sorry..." he said.
"That's in the past now, I've learned my lesson." She told him.
"Every time I drag the consequences of the enemy and kill them off for no reason, all I'm asking is... Am I a monster? Or nothing?"
She did not spoke again, her head bend down with her eyes closed. This worried the King and Queen. Sometimes past haunted back just like Godzilla and Mothra who shares each of their past lives and the death of their daughter just couldn't recover their nightmares. Worse about that Mothra sacrificed her life for Godzilla to defeat Ghidorah and for saving the planet, it disrupts the King even more. If Ma. Celestina haven't recovered from those dreaded past, she'll be in a state of endless guilt and shame.
She looks similar to their daughter Mothra Astra. Every time she cries at night, they bring her along and soothe her with sweet lullabies sung from the depths of their hearts, filled with care and love. Once she calms down, she tells them about the nightmares she saw, and the King and Queen of the Monsters give her advice that she can apply in the future. They cheer up her mood whenever she feels sad or does something not allowed, helping her through any situation. She apologizes every time she makes a tiny mistake, learning from it.
The King of the Monsters gently and carefully placed his scaly finger to the Asian girl's head, rubbing it slowly.
"You, are not a shame, and a monster to us," he said, "You are indeed special."
He gently lift her chin up to the eye level of Godzilla and Mothra.
"Past can hurt you, and they'll soon forgotten to where you truly are; even the darkest times we faced it, for the sake of our lives."
She smiled sincerely. At least they fixed her and all, but deep down, they're kind of reminding them of her human parents. Which she truly wanted have a family.
"Agree," Ma. Celestina commented, wiping away the tears that would threaten to blur her vision.
"Anyway, you'll be staying here with us until we have to figure it out about our daughter's wish," Godzilla recounted the last dying wish of Mothra Astra's words before she faded away.
"So, where am I now?" The Asian girl asked.
"Far away where no humans would reach us out...except those who are my old friend's allies..." He extended his open palm, gesturing for the Asian girl to sit on it.
She was surprised at first, and nodded adjusting the sling bag on her right shoulder. But as she walked, she yelped from a very little pain of her other leg. Good thing the King of the Monsters catch her easily. It felt strange about her body weight, for the moth wings are neither heavy or light to adapt her physical stability.
"Careful, Ma. Celestina," Mothra reminded her, "You're not feeling well, but we would tour you over our home island."
Granted, the three walked out from the cave, the light of the Sun cascading her eyes and the moth wings. She feels the gentle warm breeze blowing her hair, and a nice weather. She could tell it was afternoon. God, how many hours did she passed out?
On her own keen eagle eyes, she saw far away with various frigate warships ahead to a particular small island not far from their territory. Looks like Madison is worried for her after the incident.
Not wanted for Godzilla and Mothra to be disturbed and needed some time for them to be rest, she says...
"Godzilla, Mothra, would you like to keep yourselves steady for a second?"
The two looked down on the Asian girl. Ma. Celestina whispered something, an ancient magic incantation, producing a large orb full of white and blue sparkly seams in her open arms. Outstretching wide, she sent the magic orb high in the sky. Seconds later, it exploded into millions of sparkly crystals, before they eventually formed into some kind of a giant dome-like shield, creating a lustrous sound of chiming glasses. A symbol of a star etched every corner before the shield dispersed into thin air.
At first, Godzilla and Mothra thought she was going to blast something unusual, but after that, everything seemed normal.
Before the two Titan Rulers would say, she explains to them.
"I saw those small warships. They're being called from Monarch to find me and keep tracking us down."
"Them again?!" The King snarled.
"Easy there, Goji," the Divine Moth intervenes.
"I set up a magical dome shield to protect us from any means of harm. Plus, those humans won't come here because of the invisibility spell I cast, except..." Ma. Celestina played a strand of her hair.
"Except what?" They asked.
"..."
"Except Dr. Ishiro Serizawa's close allies and friends."
"Who is this Dr. Ishiro Serizawa?"
The Asian girl looked at him truthfully.
.
.
.
"An old friend of yours who sacrificed his life to save the planet from King Ghidorah."
An old friend of his...
.
.
.
Wait a minute...
Ah yes, his 'old friend' whom he saw it back after he eliminated the two parasitic MUTOs and passed out from exhaustion. He remembered everything.
He remembered how brave that man was for entering the dangerously drastic zone of his temple. His fear came true when he came here in exchange for his life and the almost dying world where the False King now took control as a False Alpha. The King's heart clenched tightly after that man pressed his tiny hand on his scaly texture below his jaw.
It was meant to be a final farewell.
Godzilla sighed shakily, not going to tear himself out of all. That old friend, Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, was gone forever. He missed him, even his right-hand companion, a female woman, where was she? Is she dead?
A warm aura magnetized his outstretched hand, seeing the human girl calm him down. The expression clearly shows the truth.
"He's here watching you do great things to accomplish your duty for the planet and humanity." She said. "And her too."
The right-handed companion of his old friend. He finally realized it, she's dead.
The giant radioactive lizard nodded slowly. It hurts for him to realized that he was too late to save them. The Divine Moth rubbed his arm, to which he returned back with a knowing smile.
"Also, the humans won't allow her to step on foot even their technologies," she said.
Godzilla nodded, still proud, but also felt relieved. This human girl is really, really special.
"Well then," he began, "Let's get you over for a tour of this home."
"I'll let her carry, Goji," Mothra suggested.
Godzilla lowered his hand to Mothra and Ma. Celestina slipped down to the soft - oh so soft - fluffy fur on Mothra's neck. The Queen's wings tucked firmly over her shoulder blades. The human girl admired its colors and texture; the way she felt it, it was like a soft fabric of silk shimmering down the summer breeze.
This, however, the King smirked.
"Or how about I carry you both?"
Hands wriggling for an action, the Divine Moth and the human girl don't have time to move their muscles when he scoops them up close to his chest. Mothra shrieks in laughter while the Asian can't help but giggles at Godzilla's action.
"You can sit on top of my head, Ma. Celestina." He suggested.
"Suit yourself." She shrugged, returning to his outstretched hand and ascending to his head, which she thanked him for and sat. It felt strange sitting on his head; she had to gather more physical energy to adapt to her new moth wings, which tucked behind her back.
The Asian girl shook her head in amusement when she felt a deep purr from the King's throat, seeing Mothra rubbing underneath his scaly neck affectionately.
"So," Godzilla began, "Around this island, you may find various plants that are useful for making medicine..."
In his thoughts, he already planned.
"Do not worry, Ma. Celestina. I will protect you, and Mothra. I promised. No harm will come to you. I swear to my ancestors."
Godzilla vowed. He will make sure that if Ma. Celestina or Mothra are in danger, he will not hesitate to kill every single one of the enemies.
And as for Ma. Celestina...
This is the first day she marked staying with the King and Queen of the Monsters.
3:47 PM
Far from their territory, Madison Russell stood on the sandy shores, her feet firmly planted in the sand. Binoculars were glued to her eyes, watching from afar, she could see her best friend, Celeste, who was communicating with Godzilla and Mothra.
She had begged her dad to join a mission for the sake of her best friend despite Mark's protest, and eventually, he gave up, but warned her to never slip away just like she did in Hong Kong. Reluctantly, Maddie allowed her dad to tag along on a trip.
Dr. Ilene Chen was there on a ship when they both saw a bright burst of light coming from the territorial island of Godzilla and Mothra. However, it vanished like it was nothing, much to their confusion. What shocked the brunette-haired girl was that Celeste didn't seem to be bothered by the King and Queen of the Monsters and that she could communicate with them. It's incredible, Ilene spoke. Her twin sister would always love talking about a unique bond with a Titan, and she has doubts: Is Celeste another example of a symbiotic relationship with the two powerful Alphas?
Back to Madison, she sighed in relief, rubbing her forehead to ease away the stress. Of all things she had wished, she wanted to communicate with Godzilla and Mothra. It is her dream that she will one day do that.
And yes, she never forgot about Celeste with moth wings. How is this possible? Magic never existed, but what if it does?
She'll have to figure it out. Celeste is the only key she will explain this.
Right now, she needed to sort out an escape plan without her dad, Ilene, or any personnel who would catch her red-handed.
"Don't worry, Celeste," Maddie thought, "I'll be there shortly. I hope you're fine with Godzilla and Mothra. They will keep you safe I hope, after all..."
Somewhere on an island of Indonesia
Deep within the jungles of Indonesia, far away from human settlements, there was a violent earthquake. Many animals ran for their lives, and the trees began to fall as the ground suddenly broke, creating a huge sinkhole.
As the tremors died down, an underground temple was unearthed. Ancient stones carved with numerous depictions from a past.
From the darkest pits of the temple, above the platform where no light reaches the abyss, there was a sound of a heartbeat thrumming like ancient drums.
A single egg, the size of Mothra's egg, glowed menacingly blood red as it continued to strum its heartbeat.
In it, a mural painting behind the egg depicts a drawing of a giant black moth with red eyes, terrifying bat-like moth wings with red and yellow markings resembling thunder.
A deep, guttural growl is heard in the eerie void.
"Vengeance shall be quenched, punish mankind, for the Mother Nature's will."
